Saint Peter of Verona, The Dominican Protomartyr: In His Own Blood

Although late in the day, today is still the feast of the protomartyr of the Order of Preachers, Saint Peter of Verona, who is known more commonly as Saint Peter Martyr. Time has been spent to revise this brief reflection of the life and holy martyrdom of this great Dominican, who hated error in his childhood as a result of being brought up by parents who were Manicheans. Saint Peter Martyr loved the Holy Faith, and it was this love that prompted him to accept his martyrdom with serenity as he wrote "Credo in Unum Deum" in his very own blood as he fell to the ground after a heretic had stabbed him.

Some more information about the origins of the CCP/Wuhan/China/Chinese/Covid-19/Coronavirus has been added to Sin: More Deadly Than the Coronavirus, part twelve.

The request for non-tax-deductible financial gifts remains is also hereby renewed.

Sin: More Deadly Than the Coronavirus, part twelve

[Update on Tuesday, April  27, 2021, the Feast of Saint Peter Canisius within the Octave of the Solemnity of Saint Joseph: Several typographical errors were corrected late on Monday, April 26, 2021, the Feast of Pope Saints Cletus and Marcellinus and, in some places, the Feast of Our Lady of Good Counsel. Also, a new section that makes needed qualifications and distinctions has been added before the section about the Feast of Saint Mark. Thank you. Thanks also for considering the continued request for non-tax-deductible financial gifts.]

Much work has gone into the writing of what I hope will be the end of my “Sin: More Deadly Than the Coronavirus” series.

The effort was expended in order to provide the readers of this site—and those to whom readers may want to send the article—hard facts to demonstrate the extent of the plandemicists’ lies and their efforts to force people into receiving “vaccinations” that are making thousands of people ill and kill hundreds upon hundreds more.

Perhaps the best empirical measure of the extent of the adverse reactions, including death, caused by the “vaccinations,” each of which is replete with all manner of poisons, is found on the Center for Disease Control’s own Vaccine Adverse Effects website. Four different reports, published on The Defender page of the Children’s Health Defense organization, published on March 5, March 11, April 16, and April 23, 2021, have been included to show the increase in the numbers of injuries and deaths caused by the vaccines.

The commentary contains the following parts and a conclusion that reminds readers to view this plandemic and everything about it through the supernatural eyes of the Holy Faith and to refuse to live in fear of any kind:

I. Face-to-Face with A Dictatorship by the “Experts”

II. The Propaganda Campaign to Deny the Nature and Extent of the Injuries Caused at Warp Speed by the Vaccines

III. Vaccine “Safety”

IV. Red China: Remaining at the Heart of the Entire Plandemic

V. The American Statists and Their Death-Dealing Policies

VI. From Lockdowns to Vaccine Passports

VII. A Few Distinctions and Qualifications

VIII. On the Feast of Saint Mark the Evangelist

IX. Concluding Thoughts

There are also three appendices at the conclusion of the text and a request for non-tax-deductible financial gifts for those willing and able to provide them at this time.

Finally, I ask you prayers for the repose of the soul of a truly valiant Mrs. Doria Frank, who was one of the most spirited fighters for the Catholic Faith I have ever known. Mrs. Frank died in West Islip, Long Island, New York, on Wednesday, April 21, 2021, at the age of seventy-two, after a nearly two-year battle with brain cancer, a battle she fought with her fiber of her Catholic being as she told every doctor, nurse and medical technician with whom she interacted these past two years that she was offering up her sufferings for the honor and glory of God and in reparation for her own sins and those of others. Along with her husband of forty-seven years, Mr. William Frank, who took care of her every need as his Catholic employers gave him all the time he needed to so, Mrs. Frank sang “Holy God, We Praise Thy Name” when she left the hospital after one of her initial treatments in 2019.

I have known Bill and Doria Frank since 1991. Their two thoroughly Catholic daughters, Olivia, who is married with seven children of her own, and Catherine, were part of the homeschooling consortium in which I taught in the 1990s. Each of the Franks have fought hard for the Faith, including the battle for pro-life absolutism in opposition to incrementalism on Long Island in 1998, about which I reported at length in The Wanderer.

We were very happy to see the Franks twice in 2019 during our two (and probably, given the current circumstances, the last) visits to Long Island that year.

A Requiem Mass for her immortal soul will be offered at Saint Michael the Archangel Church in Farmingville, Long Island, New York, tomorrow, Monday, April 26, 2021, the Feast of Pope Saints Cletus and Marcellinus within the Octave of the Solemnity of Saint Joseph (and, in some places, the Feast of Our Lady of Good Counsel).

Please join us in praying for the repose of the soul of our dear friend and exemplary Catholic wife and mother, who was a pioneering homeschooling Catholic on Long Island in the 1980s, Mrs. Doria Frank, as well as praying for the consolation of her devoted husband, William, her two daughters, Oliva (and her husband Joseph Reitzel) and Catherine, seven grandchildren, two brothers, John and Joseph DePaola, and countless other friends, relatives, and fellow Catholics who were always inspired by her great joy for the Holy Faith and entertained by her acerbic, sardonic New York sense of humor.

Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May her soul and all the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.

Given the length of this current commentary, there will not be another original article on this site for a week or so. Republished articles will be published on Thursday and Friday. Thank you.

Saint Fidelis of Sigmaringen: "I Came to Extirpate Heresy, Not to Embrace It"

I am offering a republished reflection on the life and martyrdom of Saint Fidelis of Sigmaringen, O.F.M., Cap., the Protomartyr of the Capuchin Franciscans and the patron saint of the Society for the Propagation f the faith, today, Saturday, April 24, 2021.

Saint Fidelis of Sigmaringen, O.F.M., Cap. opposed false ecumenism with his very life. Unlike the conciliar "popes" and their "episcopal" henchmen, Saint Fidelis came to "extirpate heresy, not to embrace it."

Work on part twelve of  "Sin: More Deadly Than the Coronavirus" series is proceeding in a very methodical manner. I need another two full days of writing before I can post it, and it is thus my current expectation to have it published by Monday, April 26, 2021, the Feast of Popes Cletus and Marcellinus (and, in some places, the Feast of Our Lady of Good Counsel).

Killers in white coats abound in the world today. This stands to reason as we live in a world formed by the lies of Martin Luther and the scions of Judeo-Masonry, and the whole fabric of the ecclesiology and pastoral practice of the counterfeit church of conciliarism is based upon an “official reconciliation” with those lies. God will visit a major chastisement upon the “civilized” world for its warfare against truth, which is nothing other than a warfare against Him and His Divine Revelation.

May God have mercy on us all.

Our Lady of the Rosary, pray for us.

Revised and Expanded: Why Live in Fear With Saint Joseph So Near?

Today is the Solemnity of Saint Joseph in Paschaltide, a feast that originated under the title of “The Patronage of Saint Joseph” in 1847 by Pope Pius IX before being given its current name in 1911 and then repositioned two years later on the Wednesday following the Second Sunday after Easter by Pope Saint Pius X. This reflection is by way of an annual reminder, slightly revised, to trust in Saint Joseph, the Patron of the Universal Church and the Protector of the Faithful, in these times of persecution by the forces of Antichrist in the world and in the counterfeit church of conciliarism.

Work continues on "Sin: More Deadly Than the Coronavius," part twelve, which will take another three to four full days of writing before it is completed, and please scrol below for yesterday's original commentary.

Jorge's False Church Enables Enemies of Christ the King and Souls Without A Thought of Offending God

An upcoming conference sponsored by the conciliar revolutionaries features a roster of virtual  speakers that is a veritable who’s who and hall of shame of no goodniks form the secular world who will discourse about plandemic, the “joys” of the mRNA gene therapy engineered into the vaccines produced and distributed after receiving “emergency authorization” from the United States Food and Drug Administration whose goal is to produce “transhumans,” and other subjects pertaining to “Mind, Soul, and Body.” Among those scheduled to speak are the nefarious Anthony Fauci and the pro-abortion, pro-perversity “planet-saving” Chelsea Victoria Clinton Mezvinsky.

Part twelve of “Sin: More Deadly Than the Coronavirus” will focus in depth on the gene therapies being marketed as vaccines that have already kill and injured a number of recipients. This current commentary centers around the simple fact that any religious sect who invites notorious pro-aborts, prod-sodomites, statists, and earth worshipers should be proof enough that the counterfeit church of conciliarism has not been, is not now nor can ever be the Catholic Church.

Our Lady of the Rosary, pray for us.

Red China's Burgenoning Hegemony Over the West and the Conciliar Vatican

As part twelve of “Sin: More Deadly Than the Coronavirus” is already a very long commentary and is far, far from being completed, I have decided to take out some material meant to included in its text to be joined with this commentary, which is about Red China’s burgeoning hegemony over Western economies and social policy.

The plandemic, which began in a laboratory specializing in the weaponizing of biological agents, has provided Xi Jinping and his minions with the phony pretexts to claim “leadership” in the “fight” against the coronavirus to attempt to convince Western leaders to adopt its own methods of social repression. And, of course, this agenda fits very well into that of Neville Bergoglio in the Casa Santa Marta within the Walls of the Occupied Vatican on the West Bank of the Tiber River.

Speaking of the Occupied Vatican on the West Bank of the Tiber River, an announcement of a Vatican-organized conference featuring the likes of Dr. Anthony Fauci and, of all people, Chelsea Clinton about “health issues and faith” requires some immediate attention. The text of my commentary on this matter will wind up within the body of part twelve of the coronavirus series, but it is important enough to address in a stand-alone commentary to be written on Friday, April 16, 2021, the Feast (although not on the universal calendar of the Catholic Church) of Saint Benedict Joseph Labre.

Men Who Are At War With God By Means of Their Sins Will be At War With Each Other

The hour is very late (or early!).

However, this is a brief reflection on the spate of bloodletting in various shooting sprees that is but a symptom of the warfare that men wage against God by means of their unrepented sins and that can be remedied only by the conversion of men and their nations to the true Faith, not by the draconian statist measures proposed by the “woke” President In Name Only Joseph Robinette Biden, Jr.

Part twelve of “Sin: More Dangerous Than the Coronavirus” is being written, but it may not be completed until Good Shepherd Sunday. My work must be so singularly focused on this project that I will not have any intervening commentaries between now and then, although I will be updating the Donations page later today. Thank you,

Our Lady of the Rosary, pray for us.

Saint Hermenegild, pray for us.

A Brief Reflection on Pope Saint Leo the Great and Low Sunday

Herewith is a brief reflection on what is today, April 11, 2021, Low Sunday on the commemorated Feast of Pope Saint Leo the Great.

The readings for Matins contained in today’s Divine Office summarizes the nature of the purity of the papacy as the absolute guarantor of doctrinal orthodoxy at all times:

When the Lord, as we read in the Evangelist, asked His disciples Who did men, amid their divers speculations, believe that He, the Son of Man, was; blessed Peter answered and said Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God. And Jesus answered and said unto him Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but My Father, Which is in heaven and I say also unto thee, that thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build My Church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it; and I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven; and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven; and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. Thus therefore standeth the ordinance of the Truth, and blessed Peter, abiding still that firm rock which God hath made him, hath never lost that right to rule in the Church which God hath given unto him.

In the universal Church it is Peter that doth still say every day, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God, and every tongue which confesseth that Jesus is Lord is taught that confession by the teaching of Peter. This is the faith that overcometh the devil and looseth the bands of his prisoners. This is the faith which maketh men free of the world and bringeth them to heaven, and the gates of hell are impotent to prevail against it. With such ramparts of salvation hath God fortified this rock, that the contagion of heresy will never be able to infect it, nor idolatry and unbelief to overcome it. This teaching it is, my dearly beloved brethren, which maketh the keeping of this Feast to-day to be our reasonable service, even the teaching which maketh you to know and honour in myself, lowly though I be, that Peter who is still entrusted with the care of all other shepherds and of all the flocks to them committed, and whose authority I have, albeit unworthy to be his heir.

When, therefore, we address our exhortations to your godly ears, believe ye that ye are hearing him speak whose office we are discharging. Yea, it is with his love for you that we warn you, and we preach unto you no other thing than that which he taught, entreating you that ye would gird up the loins of your mind and lead pure and sober lives in the fear of God. My disciples dearly beloved, ye are to me, as the disciples of the Apostle Paul were to him, (Phil. iv. 1,) a crown and a joy, if your faith, which, in the first times of the Gospel, was spoken of throughout the whole world, Rom. i. 8, abide still lovely and holy. For, albeit it behoveth the whole Church which is spread throughout all the world, to be strong in righteousness, you it chiefly becometh above all other peoples to excel in worth and godliness, whose house is built upon the very crown of the Rock of the Apostle, and whom not only hath our Lord Jesus Christ, as He hath redeemed all men, but whom also His blessed Apostle Peter hath made the foremost object of his teaching. (Pope Saint Leo the Great, as found in Matins, The Divine Office, Feast of Pope Saint Leo the Great.)

Well, it is all there, isn’t it?

One must engage in all kinds of intellectual gymnastics to believe that the contagion of heresy is not rife within the counterfeit church of conciliarism, which is why all those who are not yet convinced of the truth of our ecclesiastical situation in this time of apostasy and betrayal should re-read these words:

This is the faith which maketh men free of the world and bringeth them to heaven, and the gates of hell are impotent to prevail against it. With such ramparts of salvation hath God fortified this rock, that the contagion of heresy will never be able to infect it, nor idolatry and unbelief to overcome it. (Pope Saint Leo the Great, as found in Matins, The Divine Office, Feast of Pope Saint Leo the Great.)

Jorge Mario Bergoglio has esteemed the symbols of idolaters. So have Joseph Ratzinger/Benedict XVI and “Saint John Paul II” before his own election as the head of the false conciliar sect on March 13, 2013, and Bergoglio has shown repeatedly that he has no belief in the integrity of the Catholic Faith. So have his predecessors in the past sixty-two and one-half years.

There is also a very brief reflection about Low Sunday contained at the end of this briefest of commentaries.

Finally, I want to call your attention to a very important post about the conciliar fascination with the "salvation" of Judas Iscariot that can be found at Novus Ordo Watch. Although I had no idea about the article in L'Osservatore Romano that is the subject of the post in question, no less any foreknowledge about a portrait of Judas Iscariot that hangs in Jorge Mario Bergoglio's living quarters, I did republish Conciliarism’s Patron Saint: Judas Iscariot on Spy Wednesday, March 31, 2021, which some of you may have missed, obviously, because of Holy Week. There is never really anything "new" under the sun of Jorge Mario Bergoglio and his false religious sect of conciliarism.

Our Lady of the Rosary, pray for us.

Pope Saint Leo the Great, pray for us.

Jorge Mario Bergoglio Blasphemes Saint Alphonsus de Liguori

As it was important to defend the doctrine of Our Lady as our Co-Redemptrix, much time was spent before and then during Holy Week to complete and then publish Mirror, Mirror on the Wall: Jorge Mario Bergoglio is the Biggest Fool of Them All, which put this own commentary on hold until after the Paschal Triduum.

Although it took three full days to complete, I can now present to you a detailed commentary about Jorge Mario Bergoglio’s blasphemous misrepresentation of the life and the work of Saint Alphonsus de Liguori in an address he gave at the Alphonsianum in Rome, Italy on Tuesday in Passion Week, March 23, 2021, fifteen days ago.

I suppose that it is time, having collected all the necessary source documentation over the past few weeks, to start the work of organizing and writing “Sin: More Dangerous Than the Coronavirus, part twelve.” This commentary will take the better part of a full week to complete.

Finally, yes, the need for non-tax-deductible financial gifts continues.

Thank you.

Father Francis X. Weninger's First Sermon for Easter Monday

As promised, I am providing you with Father Francis X. Weninger’s first sermon for Easter Monday as it is every timely despite its being written and delivered around one hundred thirty-five years ago.

This sermon, which the book publisher explains in a prefatory note was written in German, focused on the persecution of Holy Mother Church, and believing Catholics by the thirty-third degree Freemasonic Chancellor of the German Empire, Otto von Bismarck, during the Kulturkampf that began shortly after the end of the Franco-Prussian War in 1871. Father Weninger’s exhortation for courage in the midst of this persecution will provide Catholics today with great encouragement in the midst of the persecutions and acts of government repression that are employed here in the United States of America and elsewhere in the so-called “civilized” world during the plandemic.

Please take the time to read this truly inspirational sermon. You will not regret doing so.

Great headway was made on the next original article for this site. It is my hope to complete work on it today for posting by Easter Tuesday morning.

Finally, yes, the need for non-tax-deductible financial gifts remains rather crucial now.

Alleluia! Christ is Risen!

Our Lady of the Rosary,

Saint Vincent Ferrer, O.P. (whose feast is suppressed today), pray for us.
