A “Lesser Evil” Here, A Lesser “Evil” There, Soon One Gets Quite Comfortable with All Evil

One of the persistent criticisms of my commentaries about politics in our world based upon the false, anti-Incarnational, naturalistic and Pelagian principles of Judeo-Masonry is that they, the commentaries, are not “realistic,” that is necessary to accept “lesser evils” to prevent supposedly “greater evils” from being advanced.

The retort that I have always given to such criticism is severalfold:

First, the toleration of a “lesser evil” in a world that has embraced all evil without distinction winds up institutionalizing so-called “lesser evils” to such an extent that very few people see any “necessity” about rolling back those evils as to do so would require people to reform their lives, something that those steeped in sin do not want to do absent the grace of a conversion away from evil and a return or conversion to the true Faith. Entire constituency groups consisting of people who base their lives upon “lesser evils” arise that become impossible for career politicians to offend lest they lose “votes.”

Second, the acceptance of institutionalized “lesser evils” predisposes one to accept the incremental toleration of higher and higher doses of so-called “lesser evils” over time to the point that it becomes and exercise in pure sophism to make any kind of distinction about the evils that have been advanced and institutionalized. The adversary cleverly uses the boogeymen of “greater evils” to scare even well-meaning Catholics into the acceptance of higher and higher doses of “lesser evils.”

Third, in this regard, therefore, it is important to remember that the devil without his tail is more dangerous than the devil with his tail, which is why the prince of darkness and the master of lies must raise up supposedly “good naturalists” who are committed to some evils to do false battles with supposedly “bad naturalists” who are uncompromising in their commitment to the advance of one vile more evil under cover of law without any qualification or exception.

Fourth, the proclivity of even traditional Catholics to look for and then latch onto “secular saviors” blinds them to any consideration of the harm that their “secular savior” wants to advance during campaigns and then does indeed advance after his election.

Although some who have written on the "lesser evil" as being the morally principled and “good” position to take by citing Saint Thomas Aquinas's teaching on the subject, it is nevertheless true that a decision to accept a “lesser evil” time and time again accustoms those trapped in the farce of naturalism to accept increasingly higher doses of evil as morally necessary to tolerate in order to avoid being overtaken by the supposedly “greater evil.” Pope Leo XIII explained where this logic takes a state over the course of time:

Yet, with the discernment of a true mother, the Church weighs the great burden of human weakness, and well knows the course down which the minds and actions of men are in this our age being borne. For this reason, while not conceding any right to anything save what is true and honest, she does not forbid public authority to tolerate what is at variance with truth and justice, for the sake of avoiding some greater evil, or of obtaining or preserving some greater good. God Himself in His providence, though infinitely good and powerful, permits evil to exist in the world, partly that greater good may not be impeded, and partly that greater evil may not ensue. In the government of States it is not forbidden to imitate the Ruler of the world; and, as the authority of man is powerless to prevent every evil, it has (as St. Augustine says) to overlook and leave unpunished many things which are punished, and rightly, by Divine Providence. But if, in such circumstances, for the sake of the common good (and this is the only legitimate reason), human law may or even should tolerate evil, it may not and should not approve or desire evil for its own sake; for evil of itself, being a privation of good, is opposed to the common welfare which every legislator is bound to desire and defend to the best of his ability. In this, human law must endeavor to imitate God, who, as St. Thomas teaches, in allowing evil to exist in the world, "neither wills evil to be done, nor wills it not to be done, but wills only to permit it to be done; and this is good.'' This saying of the Angelic Doctor contains briefly the whole doctrine of the permission of evil.

But, to judge aright, we must acknowledge that, the more a State is driven to tolerate evil, the further is it from perfection; and that the tolerance of evil which is dictated by political prudence should be strictly confined to the limits which its justifying cause, the public welfare, requires. Wherefore, if such tolerance would be injurious to the public welfare, and entail greater evils on the State, it would not be lawful; for in such case the motive of good is wanting. And although in the extraordinary condition of these times the Church usually acquiesces in certain modern liberties, not because she prefers them in themselves, but because she judges it expedient to permit them, she would in happier times exercise her own liberty; and, by persuasion, exhortation, and entreaty would endeavor, as she is bound, to fulfill the duty assigned to her by God of providing for the eternal salvation of mankind. One thing, however, remains always true -- that the liberty which is claimed for all to do all things is not, as We have often said, of itself desirable, inasmuch as it is contrary to reason that error and truth should have equal rights.

And as to tolerance, it is surprising how far removed from the equity and prudence of the Church are those who profess what is called liberalism. For, in allowing that boundless license of which We have spoken, they exceed all limits, and end at last by making no apparent distinction between truth and error, honesty and dishonesty. And because the Church, the pillar and ground of truth, and the unerring teacher of morals, is forced utterly to reprobate and condemn tolerance of such an abandoned and criminal character, they calumniate her as being wanting in patience and gentleness, and thus fail to see that, in so doing, they impute to her as a fault what is in reality a matter for commendation. But, in spite of all this show of tolerance, it very often happens that, while they profess themselves ready to lavish liberty on all in the greatest profusion, they are utterly intolerant toward the Catholic Church, by refusing to allow her the liberty of being herself free. (Pope Leo XIII, Libertas Praestantissimum, June 20, 1888.)

Whether someone or something represents a “lesser” evil is a judgment of the practical order. Catholics in the United States of America have become so used to the mantra of “voting for the lesser of two evils” that they invoke this mantra without understanding the proper distinctions and qualifications that need to be made when arriving at a judgment of the practical order. As Bishop Geraldo de Proenca Sigaud, the Bishop of Jacarezinho, Parma, Brazil from January 1, 1947, and the Archbishop of Diamantina, Minas Gerais, Brazil, from December 20, 1960, to September 10, 1960, noted:

"Among the many ways the Revolution permeates surreptitiously into the stronghold of the Church, the first door is called the 'lesser evil.' This tactic may be compared with the famous Trojan Horse. Catholic doctrine teaches that if we cannot avoid some evil we may choose to permit some lesser evil in order to avoid the greater evil on condition we do not directly commit evil ourselves.

"[HOWEVER]...

"(1) The liberals think a lesser evil is a small evil that is not worth fighting against;

"(2) Very many Catholics and even priests are of the opinion that conflict harms the Church as if She were not by Her very nature militant. This is why they allow evil to occupy without combating it under the pretext of prudence, charity, and apostolic diplomacy.

"(3) THEY DO NOT REALIZE THAT EVIL--EVEN A LESSER EVIL-IS ALWAYS AN EVIL, and that is why they do not seek to limit or suppress it. They live daily with the "lesser evil" and thus they forget the greater good as something horrible. For example, the separation of Church and State and that divorce be allowed among Catholics." (Bishop Geraldo de Proenca Sigaud, as cited by Hugh Akins in Synagogue Rising.)

This has proven to be a very prophetic words as even most traditional Catholics incant the “don’t let the perfect be the enemy of the merely good” even though the supposed “merely good” is an evil that has disguised itself as something better than that which is overtly ugly and repulsive, and this is precisely how so-called “lesser evils” become institutionalized and pave the way for increasingly higher and higher doses of “lesser evils” to the extent that we are awash with an overwhelming social acceptance of moral crimes that no one could have imagined possible seventy years ago. Compromise with evil results in the triumph of evil to the exclusion of any mention of the Social Reign of Christ the King and His true Church.

Historically  Catholics in the United States of America have come to accommodate themselves quite comfortably to the exigencies of religious indifferentism, separation of Church and State, cultural trends—including those that are in violation of modesty of dress, decency of speech and purity of thought and conduct, and many today have come to accept contraception, abortion, sterilization, “brain death,” vital organ vivisection, the starvation and dehydration of human beings said to be “brain damaged,” “palliative care”/hospice, and many are now accommodating themselves quite nicely to the “new reality” of “same-sex marriage” and all things lavender, thanks in no small part that many of the so-called “influencers” in the “conservative” movement are themselves open sodomites:

(LifeSiteNews) — Until a few days ago, few people outside the offices of National Review knew that the revered conservative magazine’s publisher is a homosexual, “married” to a man.

The publisher of the most important conservative magazine of the last 60 years, National Review, is gay-married?” wrote The Stream’s Peter Wolfgang, who broke the story. “Garrett Bewkes, the man overseeing the magazine once edited by William F. Buckley, has a husband.”

“He’s been the publisher for five years. How did this happen? And what does it mean for the conservative movement and the Republican party?” Wolfgang asked.  “I suspect a lot of NR’s long-time readers don’t know this. I wouldn’t have known if a local newspaper hadn’t run an article by Bewkes’ ‘husband’ Bradley.”

Wolfgang, president of Family Institute of Connecticut Action, continued:

Together they’re starting a Connecticut chapter of the Log Cabin Republicans. That’s a group “dedicated to representing LGBT conservatives and allies” in the Republican party, as they explain on their homepage.

Bradley Bewkes will be point man for the efforts to subvert what little opposition there is to the LGBT agenda within the Connecticut GOP. Garrett will apparently continue subverting what little belief in marriage remains on the American right.

LifeSiteNews reached out for comment to a number of current and previous National Review contributors and staff, but as of this writing, all have either declined or ignored the invitation.

Conservative elites who once boldly defended the immutable definition of marriage as between one man and one woman have, since the U.S. Supreme Court’s Obergefell decision requiring states to recognize same-sex marriages, chosen to remain silent as a rising breed of conservative homosexuals — let’s call them “GayCons” — increasingly bring into conservative circles an ideology that at its core is massively anti-conjugal marriage, anti-family, and anti-child, but very much pro-homosexuality.

Our conservative elites’ silence on homosexuality and same-sex marriage speaks loudly about their truce with sodomy, yet is unsurprising considering who some of the major players are delivering news consumed by conservatives nowadays:

  • Glenn Greenwald, perhaps the top independent investigative journalist in the world, is “married” to another man with whom he is raising two sons.
  • Bari Weiss, formerly of The New York Times whose substack produces some of the best coverage and criticism of woke culture and politics, left her husband and is now “married” to a woman.
  • Andy Ngo, the intrepid journalist who at great personal risk provided unparalleled coverage of Antifa violence, is openly gay.
  • Jim Hoft, founder and editor-in-chief of Gateway Pundit, is gay and “married” to a male reportedly half his age.
  • Dave Rubin, host of the popular Rubin Reportannounced earlier this year that he and his “husband” are expecting the birth of two children via surrogacy.
  • Richard Grenell, former acting director of national intelligence and U.S. ambassador to Germany and a partnered homosexual, joined Newsmax in December as a national security contributor and executive for international partnerships.
  • Fox News personality Guy Benson is “married” to a man and The Daily Wire’s Spencer Klavan is engaged to a male colleague at the conservative media site.

All of these news sources, which are hugely popular among conservatives, are compromised when it comes to homosexuality. Homosexuality and same-sex marriage have been fully accepted, normalized, and embraced. (National Review has unconditionally surrendered to same-sex 'marriage'.)

Although the information provided by author Doug Mainwaring above is full of information about how sodomites have captured the so-called “conservative” movement, it is premised upon several major misconceptions.

First, there is no such thing as a “gay” person. To use the language of the homosexualist collective is to make a concession to the practitioners of the sin of Sodom who have coopted a perfectly good word in the English language, “gay,” and applied it exclusively to refer to people inclined to the commission of or actually steeped in sins against nature, thereby replacing the terms homosexual, lesbian, and sodomite from the vocabulary of everyday usage. The use of the word “gay” has meant to “mainstream” and “normalize” that which is abhorrent and aberrant.

Writing in the context of the case of William Cardinal O’Connell, the Archbishop of Boston from August 30, 1907, to April 22, 1944, Mrs. Randy Engel pointed out in The Rite of Sodomy that one would have rarely even have heard the word “homosexual” in public usage:

At the turn of the [Twentieth] century, references to homosexuality were very rare in polite society. They were so rare, in fact, that court stenographers often misspelled the word, homosexual, and juries involved in sodomy cases had to be instructed as to what the terms "homosexual" and "sodomy" meant. (Randy Engel, The Rite of Sodomy, New Engel Publishing, 2006, p. 631.)

To use the word “gay” as Mr. Mainwaring did is itself a sign of how successful the homosexual collective has been in promoting their agenda.

Second, Mr. Mainwaring’s article is premised upon the belief that the so-called “conservative movement” is somehow a means of upholding “traditional values.” “Conservatism” is simply a naturalistic approach to life and politics that is based upon an indifference to the fact of Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ’s Incarnation, Redemptive Act on the wood of the Holy Cross, and the authority of His true Church to command men in all that pertains to the good of souls, the right ordering of which is the sine qua non of a just social order. “Conservatism” is thus a false, naturalistic opposite of Lockean liberalism, and the essential difference between the two was described Gilbert Keith Chesterton as follows in 1924:

The whole modern world has divided itself into Conservatives and Progressives. The business of Progressives is to go on making mistakes. The business of Conservatives is to prevent mistakes from being corrected. Even when the revolutionist might himself repent of his revolution, the traditionalist is already defending it as part of his tradition. Thus we have two great types — the advanced person who rushes us into ruin, and the retrospective person who admires the ruins. He admires them especially by moonlight, not to say moonshine. Each new blunder of the progressive or prig becomes instantly a legend of immemorial antiquity for the snob. This is called the balance, or mutual check, in our Constitution. (Illustrated London News, 1924)

This, ladies and gentlemen, is as pithy a description of the naturalism’s false opposites as one is going to find.

“Conservatism” is a secular religion. So is liberalism. So are all other political philosophies or ideologies.

As I noted a Catholic scholar who was pursuing a doctorate in history thirty years ago, “Our cause is not the ‘conservative’ cause. It is the Catholic cause, and none other.”

Third, in this regard, therefore, Mr. Mainwaring’s praise of the National Review as the “flagship” journal of “conservative” thought is very much ill-placed as the late William F. Buckley, Jr., specifically and categorically rejected Catholic Social Teaching on matters of Church and State and Faith and Morals as having any relevance for the National Review.

Famously, Buckley wrote a column entitled “Mater Si, Magister No” as he rejected Angelo Roncalli/John XXIII’s Pacem in Terris, April 11, 1963, without realizing that the “encyclical letter” was promulgated by an antipope, not that the fact would have mattered to him as he was also a dissenter on birth control as well. Buckley believed in secular conservatism, which is why his brother-in-law, the late L. Brent Bozell, Jr., broke with him in 1966 and founded Triumph magazine in 1964 to promote the Social Reign of Christ the King.

Mr. Mainwaring does not understand that “conservatism” of any type is incapable of retarding the evils of the day any more than Protestantism or Talmudism or Mohammedanism or anything else. I don’t care about “conservative” influencers other than to pray for their conversion. Catholics should not be influenced by religious indifferentists, no less outright enemies of the just social order, which can never be premised on a blithe acceptance of the sins that cry out to Heaven for vengeance.

Pope Leo XIII put the matter very succinctly in Tametsi Futura Prospicientibus, November 1, 1900:

God alone is Life. All other beings partake of life, but are not life. Christ, from all eternity and by His very nature, is "the Life," just as He is the Truth, because He is God of God. From Him, as from its most sacred source, all life pervades and ever will pervade creation. Whatever is, is by Him; whatever lives, lives by Him. For by the Word "all things were made; and without Him was made nothing that was made." This is true of the natural life; but, as We have sufficiently indicated above, we have a much higher and better life, won for us by Christ's mercy, that is to say, "the life of grace," whose happy consummation is "the life of glory," to which all our thoughts and actions ought to be directed. The whole object of Christian doctrine and morality is that "we being dead to sin, should live to justice" (I Peter ii., 24)-that is, to virtue and holiness. In this consists the moral life, with the certain hope of a happy eternity. This justice, in order to be advantageous to salvation, is nourished by Christian faith. "The just man liveth by faith" (Galatians iii., II). "Without faith it is impossible to please God" (Hebrews xi., 6). Consequently Jesus Christ, the creator and preserver of faith, also preserves and nourishes our moral life. This He does chiefly by the ministry of His Church. To Her, in His wise and merciful counsel, He has entrusted certain agencies which engender the supernatural life, protect it, and revive it if it should fail. This generative and conservative power of the virtues that make for salvation is therefore lost, whenever morality is dissociated from divine faith. A system of morality based exclusively on human reason robs man of his highest dignity and lowers him from the supernatural to the merely natural life. Not but that man is able by the right use of reason to know and to obey certain principles of the natural law. But though he should know them all and keep them inviolate through life-and even this is impossible without the aid of the grace of our Redeemer-still it is vain for anyone without faith to promise himself eternal salvation. "If anyone abide not in Me, he shall be cast forth as a branch, and shall wither, and they shall gather him up and cast him into the fire, and he burneth" john xv., 6). "He that believeth not shall be condemned" (Mark xvi., 16). We have but too much evidence of the value and result of a morality divorced from divine faith. How is it that, in spite of all the zeal for the welfare of the masses, nations are in such straits and even distress, and that the evil is daily on the increase? We are told that society is quite able to help itself; that it can flourish without the assistance of Christianity, and attain its end by its own unaided efforts. Public administrators prefer a purely secular system of government. All traces of the religion of our forefathers are daily disappearing from political life and administration. What blindness! Once the idea of the authority of God as the Judge of right and wrong is forgotten, law must necessarily lose its primary authority and justice must perish: and these are the two most powerful and most necessary bonds of society. Similarly, once the hope and expectation of eternal happiness is taken away, temporal goods will be greedily sought after. Every man will strive to secure the largest share for himself. Hence arise envy, jealousy, hatred. The consequences are conspiracy, anarchy, nihilism. There is neither peace abroad nor security at home. Public life is stained with crime.

So great is this struggle of the passions and so serious the dangers involved, that we must either anticipate ultimate ruin or seek for an efficient remedy. It is of course both right and necessary to punish malefactors, to educate the masses, and by legislation to prevent crime in every possible way: but all this is by no means sufficient. The salvation of the nations must be looked for higher. A power greater than human must be called in to teach men's hearts, awaken in them the sense of duty, and make them better. This is the power which once before saved the world from destruction when groaning under much more terrible evils. Once remove all impediments and allow the Christian spirit to revive and grow strong in a nation, and that nation will be healed. The strife between the classes and the masses will die away; mutual rights will be respected. If Christ be listened to, both rich and poor will do their duty. The former will realise that they must observe justice and charity, the latter self-restraint and moderation, if both are to be saved. Domestic life will be firmly established ( by the salutary fear of God as the Lawgiver. In the same way the precepts of the natural law, which dictates respect for lawful authority and obedience to the laws, will exercise their influence over the people. Seditions and conspiracies will cease. Wherever Christianity rules over all without let or hindrance there the order established by Divine Providence is preserved, and both security and prosperity are the happy result. The common welfare, then, urgently demands a return to Him from whom we should never have gone astray; to Him who is the Way, the Truth, and the Life,-and this on the part not only of individuals but of society as a whole. We must restore Christ to this His own rightful possession. All elements of the national life must be made to drink in the Life which proceedeth from Him- legislation, political institutions, education, marriage and family life, capital and labour. Everyone must see that the very growth of civilisation which is so ardently desired depends greatly upon this, since it is fed and grows not so much by material wealth and prosperity, as by the spiritual qualities of morality and virtue. (Pope Leo XIII, Tametsi Futura Prospicientibus, November 1, 1900.)

All this having been noted, however, Mr. Mainwaring’s article does explain how “conservatives” have accommodated themselves to the agenda of the homosexual collective, which has been advanced by means explained by Mrs. Randy Engel in The Rite of Sodomy:

The Homosexual Collective's overall political base is constructed on a refinement of Hegelian and Marxist-Leninist theories and practices. It is first and foremost through this political prism that all of its pronouncements, actions, and institutions must be viewed if one hopes to gain a true understanding of the movement.

Much of the Collective's success thus far in advancing its revolutionary agenda has been due to its continued ability to:

  • Conceal its ultimate goals from the general public.
  • Recruit large numbers of new members and fellow travelers.
  • Establish numerous front organizations
  • Control the language of public discourse
  • Infiltrate, colonize and subvert important secular and religious institutions.
  • Organize public demonstrations and crusades designed to move "the masses" in the direction that the Collective desires.
  • Obtain government (tax monies) and private financial resources necessary to wage war and secure a significant political power base. Influence and/or control the mass media whereby public opinion will be directed along the lines prescribed by the Collective.

The "vanguard" or shock troops of the Gay Liberation Movement are drawn from the hundreds of international, national, state and local organizations and coalitions that form the Homosexual Collective. Their main task is the total infiltration, colonization, and subversion of all social institutions that are deemed useful in moving the revolution forward.

As these mass organizations are brought under the control or influence of the Collective, they are transformed into "fronts" that can be readily manipulated by a relatively few members of the vanguard. In addition to expanding the Collective's sphere of influence, these front organizations provide numerous fellow travelers and useful idiots that are so essential to advancing the primary objectives of the sexual revolution. They also swell the Collective's political and financial power base, provide an unlimited source of potential recruits, and serve as a transmission belt for "gay" propaganda. (Randy Engel, The Rite of Sodomy, New Engel Publishing, 2006, pp. 473-474.)

Mrs. Engel demonstrated that the Homosexual Collective is very much allied with the occult and so-called Eastern"mysticism."

For homosexual men and women who prefer a more serene, meditative mystical/magical approach to spirituality, occult sects that Theosophy and its modern-day progeny, the New Age Movement, offer homosexuals still other alternatives to Christianity.

Since the late 19th century, theosophy, as proclaimed by its most famous proponent Helen Petrovna "Madame" Blavatsky (1831-1891) has attracted a number of spiritual and moral renegades from Christianity.

Theosophists proclaim the universal brotherhood of humanity without distinction of race, creed, sex (or sexual orientation), caste or color and embrace an ecumenical spirit of indifferentism with regard to specific religions or philosophical movements.

The theoretical framework for theosophy incorporates all of the ancient heretical occult systems including Pantheism, Gnosticism, Jewish Kabalism and European Neoplatonist Hermeticism as well as elements of the Eastern mysticism of Hinduism, Buddhism, Yogaism and Brahmanism, overlaid with a heavy mantle of good-old-fashioned Spiritualism. (Randy Engel, The Rite of Sodomy, New Engel Publishing, 2006, p. 486.)

The swelling of sodomites to the top of the so-called “conservative” leadership” is the result of the methods categorized by Mrs. Engel in The Rite of Sodomy, although one should note, however, that careerist Republicans gave up whatever limited resistance they expressed rhetorically to “gay marriage” after the decision of the Supreme Court of the United States of America in the case of Obergefell v. Hodges, June 26, 2015, the Feast of Saints John and Paul. The then United States Senate Majority Leader, Addison Mitchell McConnell (R-Kentucky), was among the first to fly the rainbow flag, figuratively speaking, of surrender after the decision in that case was announced:

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell says there's not much Congress can do in the wake of the ruling by the Supreme Court legalizing gay marriage.

In an interview Tuesday night on Kentucky television station WDRB, McConnell restated that he still holds to the traditional view of marriage.

"I’ve always felt that marriage is between one man and one woman and the Supreme Court has held otherwise. That’s the law of the land," the Kentucky Republican said.

When he was asked if there is anything Congress can do, he answered: "I don’t think so. I think the courts have pretty well spoken."

However, McConnell said he is now concerned about "the potential problems with regard to religious liberty." There are number of institutions, which in practicing their religion, may run up against this," which he predicts will result "in a lot of additional litigation, as this decision is weighed against the strongly held religious beliefs of a number of Americans."

The Senate leader said that lawmakers will be looking to see "if religious liberty needs to be enhanced by statute."

Following the Supreme Court decisions on gay marriage and Obamacare, Texas Sen. Ted Cruz said that he is proposing a constitutional amendment subjecting Supreme Court justices "to periodic judicial-retention elections."

But McConnell said "it isn't going to pass ... we've only done that 27 times in the history of our country." (Mitch McConnell: Gay Marriage Is ' Law of the Land.)

“The law of the land.”

Well, that was another veritable profile in courage from the imperious Kentuckian.

One can be “personally opposed” to the abomination of “same-sex” marriage while being “reconciled” to the irreversible nature of its institutionalization as a matter of fact and as a matter of a constitutional “right” that was “found” and applied by Associate Justices Anthony McLeod Kennedy, Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Stephen Breyer, Sonia Sotomayor, and Elena Kagan.

Isn’t this the same stunt that many Catholics in the Democratic Party have been using since January 22, 1973, to support the legal fact of the chemical and surgical execution of the innocent preborn despite their alleged “personal opposition.”

It is no wonder, therefore, that the so-called “Conservative Political Action Fund,” better known as CPAC, banned the pro-family organization MassResistance from having a vendor’s booth at 2018 convention in suburban Maryland. A different “tone” had been set, one that is libertarian and is thus perfectly at home with those whose perverse sins bring down the wrath of God upon this and other supposedly “civilized” countries in the world:

February 28, 2018 (American Thinker) – MassResistance is a grassroots network of pro-family activists.  We started in Massachusetts 25 years ago (as Parents' Rights Coalition), and now have chapters around the country.

We had a rewarding time last October at Family Research Council's Values Voter Summit, so we figured that the American Conservative Union's CPAC 2018 attendees would likewise appreciate receiving our information.

We applied for a booth, were vetted, and approved in late January.  Shortly thereafter, we were abruptly disinvited.  No convincing reason was given – just some vague statements about our "tone" not being respectful toward our political opponents.  You can read the details here.

CPAC's hypocrisy on "tone" is clear in light of its inclusion of the radical LGBT group Log Cabin Republicans for the third year in a row.  In 2016, Log Cabinites ran a full-page ad in USA Today coinciding with the Republican Convention, where they slammed the Party's platform committee as "LOSERS" and "MORONS" for defending real marriage.  And then there's CPAC's invitation to foul-mouthed "Dangerous Faggot" Milo Yiannopoulos, who was to be its 2017 keynote speaker – until a video emerged wherein he said good things about pederasty.

On top of all that, this year's CPAC auditioned four transgender activists who say they're Republicans.  As the next new thing, they got a lot of attention (though they were unofficial participants).  While it's likely that other groups wouldn't be allowed to stand for hours with signs in the convention center hallway, this group was not asked to leave.  Possibly, they would have been approved for an exhibit table if they'd just coughed up $2,000.

In addition to unfurling their rainbow Gadsden flag ("Don't Tread on Me"), they held little placards reading:

Proud to be Conservative
Proud to be Transgender
Proud to be American
#SameTeam

After a positive story in Newsweek and Slate's interview with the group's organizer, you can be pretty sure they'll be approved at CPAC next year.  The American Conservative Union can't appear to be on the wrong side of history.

Someone has to talk to conservatives, said their leader, Jennifer Williams, even though many in the LGBT community wouldn't like them being at CPAC.  Williams was giddy at the absence of social conservative groups, including the fact that MassResistance was banned.  "There's not even one workshop regarding traditional marriage."

Williams told Slate:

Log Cabin Republicans have been here for three years straight and they've been very controversial in the past.  One great thing CPAC did last year was banning Milo Yiannopoulos from coming to speak after everything happened to him, because he's one of the most anti-transgender conservatives out there, supposedly.  I don't believe he's a conservative.  And then this year they took away Mass Resistance being able to have a booth once they learned about their anti-LGBT views and particularly anti-transgender views, because right now there's a bill in Massachusetts to remove public accommodations.  So that growth has been amazing.  A lot of it is built by the younger generation, the millennials.

From Newsweek:

Williams says that most CPAC attendees have been accepting of her [sic] and her [sic] fellow activists' presence, with perhaps one out of 30 evincing a negative reaction, such as a thumbs-down gesture.  She [sic] believes that acceptance will only increase.  "I know," she [sic] says, "we can change hearts and minds."

Williams said in a Twitter interview:

One of the most conservative things you can actually do, if you think about it, is be transgender.  Because you're seizing your identity, you're seizing who you are, and saying to the world, "I'm living free as myself, I'm living authentically."  I fully believe in limited government, but that limited government extends to not telling people who [sic] they should be married to, or who should they [sic] be.

Well, since it's just about "freedom" and limited government, CPAC will have to let them have a table next year!

Williams clearly wants to change Republican positions on transgenders in the military and on housing and employment discrimination legislation.  His question – "What are we gonna do for those three years [remaining in Trump's term]?  Wait for an impeachment?" – is a dead giveaway that he is an infiltrator.

It's telling that the college-age trans demonstrator in the group is a member of a relatively new nationwide (nominally conservative) campus group, Turning Point USA.  Their motto: "Big Government Sucks."  (Nice tone!)  The organization bought its "Supporting Sponsor" ticket to CPAC 2018 for a mere $28,000.  The big funders like the libertarian approach.  "Transgender rights" will fit right in.

Turning Point USA's leader, Charlie Kirk, has said the "gay issue" is dead in the Republican Party and that it's time to move on to bigger things.  The group's focus is promoting free-market and limited government principles (i.e., libertarianism).  He says the group is also fighting the "culture war," which he defines as promoting free speech and a "diversity of ideas."  The one thing that holds Republicans together is "freedom, freedom, freedom," he claims.  He welcomes the "sea change" in the party, which is increasingly open to drug legalization and the redefinition of marriage.  "Gay marriage...whatever!"  (Next year he might say, "Transgender...whatever!")  He thinks government can protect social conservatives who have religious objections to LGBT demands without disturbing the attack against marriage or the anti-discrimination laws that lead to persecution.

Yes, we've apparently reached a turning point, where our social stability can go to Hell with the blessing with the increasingly libertarian CPAC. (CPAC "Transitioning".)

By the way, Charlie Kirk, who coined the phrase “Make America Great Again,” was very quick to condemn the students from Covington Catholic High School after they had been confronted by Native American activist Nathan Phillips in Washington, District of Columbia, after the March for Life on Friday, January 18, 2019, the Feast of the Chair of Saint Peter in Antioch. Kirk later apologized. However, it was a little cheeky for some naturalists in the Trump camp to complain about how the mainslime media rushed to give the Justin Smollett hoax credibility when some of them believed the lies told by the mainslime media about the Covington Catholic High School students.

Obviously, the “lesser evil” from 2016, Donald John Trump, help to make this “transition” a “turning point” in “conservative” circles by the open support he gave, both rhetorically and actually, to the sodomite agenda.

Here is a little trip down memory lane:

Nonetheless, however, the fact remains that Donald John Trump has surrounded himself with homosexuals throughout his business career, and he was guided in the early part of that career by the sodomite Talmudist named Roy Cohn. He is, as he termed himself with Lesley Stahl in a 60 Minutes interview that aired on Sunday, November 13, 2016, a “supporter.” Trump's election and his presidency, impeded as it was by the agents of deep state, who will never face actual justice in this passing, mortal vale of tears, unquestionably "transformed" the Republican Party. This is very true, but an important part of this transformation was a silent acceptance of the rights of those steeped in the sin of Sodom and its related vices.

Here is a review of his statements and actions in support of sodomites and their agenda, starting with the statement he issued after the Orlando, Florida, nightclub massacre on Sunday, June 13, 2016, and including statements he made later during the general election campaign against Madame Defarge, aka Hillary Diane Rodham Clinton, the world’s foremost coup plotter and insurrectionist:”

We express our deepest sympathies to the victims, the wounded, and their families. We mourn as one people for our nation’s loss, and pledge our support to any and all who need it. I would like to ask now that we all observe a moment of silence for the victims of this attack.

Thank you. Our nation stands together in solidarity with the members of Orlando’s LGBT community. They have been through something that nobody could ever experience. This is a very dark moment in America’s history. A radical Islamic terrorist targeted the nightclub, not only because he wanted to kill Americans, but in order to execute gay and lesbian citizens, because of their sexual orientation.

It’s a strike at the heart and soul of who we are as a nation. It’s an assault on the ability of free people to live their lives, love who they want, and express their identity. It’s an attack on the right of every single American to live in peace and safety in their own country.  (Donald John Trump's Remark on the Orlando Shooting.)

Moreover, it must be mentioned that the man who believes in statist security measures that violate the privacy of innocent citizens and who believes that what is best for businesses will "make America great again" expressed has expressed his true beliefs about those steeped in perversity on a number of occasions.

All right, you asked for it:

Lesley Stahl: One of the groups that’s expressing fear are the LGBTQ group. You--

Donald Trump: And yet I mentioned them at the Republican National Convention. And--

Lesley Stahl: You did.

Donald Trump: Everybody said, “That was so great.” I have been, you know, I’ve been-a supporter.

Lesley Stahl: Well, I guess the issue for them is marriage equality. Do you support marriage equality?

Donald Trump: It-- it’s irrelevant because it was already settled. It’s law. It was settled in the Supreme Court. I mean it’s done.

Lesley Stahl: So even if you appoint a judge that--

Donald Trump: It’s done. It-- you have-- these cases have gone to the Supreme Court. They’ve been settled. And, I’m fine with that. (60 Minutes Interview With Donald Trump and Family.)

Please note that Donald John Trump is very sanguine about so-called “marriage equality,” calling himself a “supporter” of the “LGTBQ” agenda. A supporter, something that he indicated very clearly in his acceptance address at the Republican National Convention in Cleveland, Ohio, on Thursday, July 21, 2016:

“49 wonderful Americans were savagely murdered by an Islamic terrorist. This time, the terrorist targeted LGBTQ community – no good and we're going to stop it.

As your President, I will do everything in my power to protect our LGBTQ citizens from the violence and oppression of a hateful foreign ideology – beleive me.”

And as a Republican, it is so nice to hear you cheering for what I just said. Thank you. (Donald John Trump Acceptance Address, Republican National Convention, Cleveland, Ohio July 21, 2016.)

Donald John Trump considers that one can base his identity by his willful decision commit and to persist in the commission of sins that cry out to Heaven for vengeance, a a belief that he shares with many of the conciliar revolutionaries, including Jorge Mario Bergoglio, who is otherwise at odds with the new president on almost every other issue.

Remember also this important post at Call Me Jorge just before November 8, 2016, presidential election:

This is just one facet of the insecure narcissist, Donald Trump.  There is much more to the man which is better left to writing about if he is elected — his connections to Likud, the Jewish Russian mafia, the New York mob, key 9/11 players, etc...

If Trump is elected, will he get his wall?  It’s doubtful but who knows.  One thing which will happen is the alchemical transformation of the right into a pro-zionist, pro-pedophile, and pro-homosexual party as is currently being done in Europe.  Another trend which will continue is the growth to epic proportions of the panopticon which laughably calls itself the most free country in the world.  (Call Me Jorge.)

Call Me Jorge had it exactly right six years ago, and the plain fact that writers such as Doug Mainwaring do not want to address is that Donald John Trump, who helped to mainstream blasphemy and profanity as “normal” parts of open, public discourse, was the ultimate lavender-friendly trailblazer, and it should come as no surprise that his fair-haired entrepreneur friend from California, Peter Thiel, is a rising star in “conservative” circles to the extent that he might one day hold elected office (as he was born in the Federal Republic of Germany, though, he is constitutionally disqualified from running for the American presidency) :

As the Republican party primaries play out across the US, the most sought after endorsement is still that of former president Donald Trump. But when it comes to the most vital part of any American campaign – money – another figure is emerging on the right of US politics who is becoming equally significant.

Peter Thiel, the PayPal founder and former CEO referred to as the “don” of the original PayPal Mafia, a group that included Elon Musk, is establishing himself as a serious power player in American rightwing politics by wielding the power of his vast fortune.

Thiel, styled as a billionaire venture capitalist and tech entrepreneur, plowed more than $10m into a super Pac backing Hillbilly Elegy author JD Vance, winner of the Republican primary for an open US Senate seat in Ohio.

In August, Thiel’s backing will be tested again after shoveling $13.5m into supporting former employee Blake Masters in the competitive Republican primary for a US Senate seat in Arizona.

In both cases, Thiel put his money – his fortune is said to be in the region of $6bn – to work behind candidates aligned with Trump’s rightwing agenda in 2022 midterm elections.

Earlier this year Thiel stepped down from the board of Meta, where he was an early investor, and a long-serving adviser to CEO Mark Zuckerberg. “He wanted to avoid being a distraction for Facebook,” according to a person close to Thiel. With his resignation effective this month, the source told Forbes Thiel “thinks that the Republican Party can advance the Trump agenda and he wants to do what he can to support that”.

But there is a vacuum between the entire Trump political agenda and Trump himself. The former president is apt to pick candidates who promote his stolen election claims. Not all succeed, or are likely to. Trump’s failed backing of David Perdue as Georgia’s Republican gubernatorial candidate looked like a personal grudge against incumbent Brian Kemp, who certified Biden’s victory in 2020.

Thiel has so far helped Trump in that cause. By some estimates, Thiel has donated $25m to 15 other 2022 candidates for the House and Senate towing the Trump election fraud line.

Max Chafkin, author of a Thiel biography The Contrarian, recently wrote that Thiel’s goal is to turn Trump’s ideology into “a disciplined political platform”.

For Thiel, endorsements of Vance and Masters follow a $300,000 donation to the campaign of far-right senator Josh Hawley, then running for Missouri attorney general in 2016. He also donated money to help elect Trump president and spoke on his behalf at the Republican National Convention.

Thiel stayed out of the 2020 presidential race, and instead donated $2.1m to a super Pac supporting Kris Kobach, the Kansas secretary of state who had proposed creating a registry of Muslim immigrants and visitors.

“Thiel is one of the conservative mega donors that has the ability to shore up candidates that might need additional support. His spending is targeted, and his ability to spend millions can be impactful,” said Sheila Krumholz at OpenSecrets.

Where Trump often seems a single issue political player – obsessed with the 2020 election loss – Thiel is more flexible in terms of what he represents, Krumholz says.

Often when your’e talking about party-aligned mega donors, there are people who have been active over decades, so Peter Thiel strikes a different figure. He’s an entrepreneur, he’s tech industry, super successful, seen as part of the young conservative vanguard that some see as more libertarian.”

“They might be Trump supporters, but their portfolio and persona waters down the connection,” Krumholz adds.

Like Musk, Thiel – called The Dungeon Master by the New York Review of Books because he played Dungeons & Dragons as a teenager and read J R R Tolkien’s trilogy ten times – presents a contradictory picture.

As an undergraduate, he founded the conservative Stanford Review and in 1995 Thiel co-authored The Diversity Myth, a book sought to question the impact of multiculturalism and “political correctness” at California’s higher education campuses.

“In bright and shallow Silicon Valley, Thiel stands apart for having retained the intellectual intensity of a bookish undergraduate, a quality that has made him an object of curiosity, admiration and mockery,” the publication noted. “He stands apart amid the orthodoxy of tech-world social progressivism as much for his conservatism as for his business sense.”

In 2003, he co-founded Palantir Technologies, a firm to assist US intelligence agencies with counter-terrorism operations. Last week, Palantir and global commodities trader Trafigura announced a new target market to track carbon emissions for the oil, gas, refined metals and concentrates sector. BP is among its customers, Reuters reported.

Thiel’s libertarian credentials, and perhaps in part his political motivation, were publicly established in 2016 when he funded an invasion of privacy lawsuit filed by Terry Bollea, known more popularly as wrestler Hulk Hogan, that bankrupted the news website Gawker. Gawker had outed Thiel in 2007.

“It’s less about revenge and more about specific deterrence,” Thiel said of the action. “I saw Gawker pioneer a unique and incredibly damaging way of getting attention by bullying people even when there was no connection with the public interest … I thought it was worth fighting back.”

Funding the lawsuit, he added, was one of the “greater philanthropic things that I’ve done”.

Blake Masters, the 35-year-old Republican US senate candidate for Arizona, has suggested he would use the same tactics after the Arizona Mirror wrote that the candidate opposes abortion rights and “wants to allow states to ban contraception use”. Masters denies those positions.

“If I get any free time after winning my elections then you’re getting sued, and I’ll easily prove actual malice,” Masters wrote in a tweet. “Gawker found out the hard way and you will too.”

Thiel, said Masters last year, “sees some promise in me, but he knows I’ll be an independent-minded senator”.

But the larger issue for Thiel may be intense cross-currents in the US around big tech, social media and free speech. His former PayPal Mafia consigliere, Musk, is also emerging from the tech world to have influence in US politics – where he recently declared himself a Republican – and free speech as he seeks to buy the social media platform Twitter.

“[Tech is] an industry on the cutting edge and caught in the cross-fire between the parties,” said Krumholz. “There are a lot of conflicting pressures on and from within the tech industry. Tech is being scapegoated by some, and held responsible for much of the disinformation, excesses of social media, partisan division and radicalization we see.”

Moira Weigel, a professor of communications at Northeastern University and a founding editor of Logic magazine, argued in the New Republic last year that Thiel does not really matter: “What matters about him is whom he connects.”

At the moment, Thiel is busy connecting some of the most rightwing politicians in recent US history. (‘Don’ of a new era: the rise of Peter Thiel as a US rightwing power player.)

What is significant about this article is the fact that Thiel’s being a “married” homosexual is nowhere mentioned, an indication of the extent to which sodomy has become accepted as part of everyday life that carries no moral stigma, poses no threat to the right ordering of nations nor, more importantly, to the salvation of the souls who are steeped in it. Although this “mainstreaming” has been taking place since the 1970s and has been aided and abetted in both public and many formerly Catholic schools within the control of the counterfeit church of conciliarism, the political acceptance of sodomy within the false opposite of the naturalist “right” began after the presidency of Ronald Wilson Reagan in state and local Republican political organizations and then accelerated during the administration of President George Walker Bush.

Pro-death, pro-sodomite Republicans have been elected by the bushelful since the 1990s. The likes of Susan Molinari (United States Representative, Staten Island, New York, elected to replace her father, Guy Molinari, in March of 1990), Christine Todd Whitman (Governor of New Jersey, elected in 1993), Richard Riordan (Mayor of Los Angeles, California, elected in 1993), Rudolph William Giuliani (Mayor of the City of New York, New York, elected in 1993), George Elmer Pataki (Governor of New York, elected in 1994), Thomas Joseph Ridge (Governor of Pennsylvania, elected in 1995), Susan Collins (United States Senator, Maine, elected in 1996), Lisa Murkowski (United States Senator, Maine, 2002), Arnold Schwarzenegger (Governor of California, elected in 2003), Charles Wider Dent (United States Representatives, elected in 2004), Robert Jones Portman (United States Senator, Ohio, elected in 2010), Mark Kirk (United States Senator from Illinois, elected in 2010), Ileana Ros-Lehtinen, United States Representative, Florida, elected in 1988 and came out in support of sodomite “rights” in 2011), Larry Hogan (current Governor of Maryland, elected in 2014), Carlos Curbelo (United States Representative, Florida, elected in 2014), Elizabeth Lynne Cheney (United States Representatives, Wyoming, elected in 2016), Philip Brian Scott (current Governor of Maryland, first elected in 2016),  and scores upon scores of others in “blue states” on the East and West Coasts at the state and local levels.

Additionally, many former Republican officeholders have had “epiphanies” about the perversity of sodomite “marriage,” including former Vice President Michael Richard Pence, the Catholic apostate turned some kind of “evangelical” Protestant. Pence “converted” thanks to the influence of former President Donald John Trump and his sodomite ambassador to the Federal Republic of Germany, Richard Grenell. (A review of the pertinent facts in this regard will be appended below.)

Unfortunately for the author of the 2018 article quoted just above, the “turning point” came in the form of the Protestant Revolution. It is very easy to accept moral relativism when one accepts theological relativism’s belief that each believer is his own “interpreter” of Sacred Scripture, meaning that contradictory “opinions” are “true” for those who hold them. Such a witches’ brew of irrationality and illogic started a process of degeneration whose perfections of degeneracy as being demonstrated with great clarity today.

You doubt my word?

Consider the words of Pope Leo XIII in Immortale Dei, November 1, 1885:

But that harmful and deplorable passion for innovation which was aroused in the sixteenth century threw first of all into confusion the Christian religion, and next, by natural sequence, invaded the precincts of philosophy, whence it spread amongst all classes of society. From this source, as from a fountain-head, burst forth all those later tenets of unbridled license which, in the midst of the terrible upheavals of the last century, were wildly conceived and boldly proclaimed as the principles and foundation of that new conception of law which was not merely previously unknown, but was at variance on many points with not only the Christian, but even the natural law. (Pope Leo XIII, Immortale Dei, November 1, 1885.)

The confusion that exists in the minds of most men in the world at this time has, of course, been exacerbated by the apostasies of Modernism in the counterfeit church of conciliarism, which has made its "reconciliation" with the naturalistic, anti-Incarnational, religiously indifferentist and semi-Pelagian (the belief that human beings can more or less "save themselves" by "stirring up" graces in their own immortal souls) principles of Modernity. Long before conciliarism came to light at the "Second" Vatican Council, however, even the minds of many, if not most, Catholics were deformed as a result of living in a world of pluralism and unfettered "free speech" and "freedom of the press" and "freedom of religion," resulting in most of them accepting the premises of naturalism most uncritically as both natural and normal and as perfectly compatible with the truths of the Catholic Faith.

Not important?

Says who?

Not Christ the King.

It is either Christ or chaos. There is nothing in between. Nothing at all.

The Incarnation has occurred.

The Word has become Flesh, and dwelt amongst us.

Christ the King, the Word made Flesh in his Most Blessed Mother’s Virginal and Immaculate Womb by the power of the Third Person of the Most Blessed Trinity, God the Holy Ghost, has redeemed us by the shedding of every single drop of His Most Precious Blood on the wood of the Holy Cross.

The Divine Redeemer has risen from the dead and has ascended to the right hand of His Co-Equal, Co-Eternal God the Father in Heaven.

God the Holy Ghost hath descended upon the Apostles, Our Lady and the others gathered in the Upper Room in Jerusalem on Pentecost Sunday.

The Holy Gospel of Christ the King has been preached to every quarter of the world.

We are not free to act as though these plain facts are irrelevant to the fate of men of their nations or, worse yet, to be silent about them to show our “loyalty” to a  man who demands personal loyalty but who supports all manner of evil and has dared—and I do mean dared—to give the Zionist State of Israel everything it desires (no less terming Jerusalem to be the “eternal capital of the Jewish people”) and is even engaging in saber rattling with the Islamic Republic of Iran in behalf of Benjamin Netanayhu and the Israeli Defense Force.

Look at how indifferent most Catholics are in the face of the apostasies, heresies, blasphemies and sacrileges of the conciliar revolutionaries.

Look at how indifferent and blasé most Catholics are in the face of religious indifferentism and cultural pluralism.

Look at how indifferent most Catholics are to the use of blasphemy and profanity by public officials they think are making America great again.

Look at how some Catholics excuse sins of indecency and impurity just as blithely as Jorge Mario Bergoglio himself.

Look at how indifferent even most Catholics are to the nearly-global institutionalization of baby-killing, to the global vivisection of living human beings for vital bodily organs under the medical industry’s manufactured, profit-making myth called “brain death,” to the systematic elimination of those whose “quality of life” is determined by a “team of professionals” to be in decline and/or those who are deprived of consciousness at the moment of deaths expedited by an assortment of designer cocktails administered under the aegis of “palliative care,” to the daily dehydration of starvation of innocent human beings who are said to be “brain damage” or comatose or whose chance of recovery is deemed so “minimal” that it is judged better to do to them what one would be arrested for doing if tried on a animal, that is, to starve and dehydrate them to death, to the institutionalization of surrogate parenthood, gender mutation, artificial insemination and to the worldwide spread of sodomy and its related vices. This indifference extends now to the gene-editing of preborn babies that has taken place in Red China and has spread now even to the United States of America, which has long pioneered monstrous scientific experimentations, especially by means of the Rockefeller Foundation and its offshoot, the Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory.

Although these evils are themselves horrific chastisements of the sort that neither Dom Prosper Gueranger or his younger contemporary in England, Father Henry James Coleridge, could have imagined possible, it is still nevertheless true that Our Lady will not hold back the hand of her Divine Son’s wrath indefinitely. There will come cataclysms of the like that have not been seen heretofore, and this is because the offenses against the Most Blessed Trinity are more novel, more extensive and more widely accepted than ever before.

Dom Prosper Gueranger went on to discuss the scourge of the invasions by the barbarians that were used by God to chastise the Roman Empire for its crimes and the conquest of the East by the Mohammedans that God ordained to chastise the heretics and schismatics of Orthodoxy:

It is not requisite that we should here mention the long list of revolutions, which we might almost say make up the history of mankind, for in its ever page we ready of conquests, extinction of races, destruction of nations, and violent amalgamations, which effaced the traditions and character of the several peoples that were forced into union. We will confine our considerations to the two great invasions, which the just anger of God has permitted to come upon the world since the commencement of the Christian era.

The Roman Empire had made itself as preeminent in crime as it was in power. It conquered the world, then corrupted it. Idolatry and immorality were the civilization it gave to the nations which had come under its sway. Christianity could save individuals in the great empire, but the empire itself could not be made Christian. God let loose upon it the deluge of barbarians. The stream of the wild invasion rose to the very dome of the Capitol; the empire was engulfed. The ruthless ministers of divine justice were conscious of their being chosen for this mission of vengeance and they gave themselves the name of ‘God’s scourge.’

When, later on, the Christian nations of the east had lost the faith which they themselves had transmitted to the western world; when they had disfigured the sacred symbol of the faith by their blasphemous heresies; the anger of God sent upon them, from Arabia, the deluge of Mahometanism. It swept away the Christian Churches, that had existed from the very time of the apostles. Jerusalem, the favoured Jerusalem, on which Jesus lavished His tenderest love, even she became a victim to the infidel hordes. Antioch and Alexandria, with their patriarchates, were plunged into the vilest slavery; and at length Constantinople, that had so obstinately provoked the divine indignation, was made the very capital of the Turkish empire.

And we, the western nations, if we return not to the Lord and God, shall we be spared? Shall the flood-gates of heaven’s vengeance, the torrent of fresh Vandals, over be menacing to burst upon us, yet never come? Where is the country of our own Europe, that has not corrupted its way, as in the days of Noah? that has not made conventions against the Lord and His Christ? that has not clamoured out of that old cry of revolt: Let us break their bonds asunder, let us cast away their yoke upon us? Well may we fear that the time is at hand, when, despite our haughty confidence in our means of defence, Christ our Lord, to whom all nations have been given by the Father, shall rule us with a rod of iron and break us in pieces like a potter’s vessel. Let us propitiate the anger of our offended God, and follow the inspired counsel of the royal prophet: Serve ye the Lord with fear: embrace the discipline of His law; lest, at any time, the Lord be angry, and yet perish from the just way. (Dom Prosper Gueranger, O.S.B., The Liturgical Year: Volume IV: Septuagesima, pp. 167-169.)

We must remember that “America the great” has spread the evils of Protestantism and Judeo-Masonry throughout Catholic lands in the Americas and in The Philippines.

“America the great” has exported its “values” of “freedom of conscience” around the world, thus letting loose a torrent of vice. For example, contraceptives have been introduced into various lands “liberated” by American forces, including Iraq in the immediate aftermath of the unjust, immoral and unconstitutional American invasion and subsequent occupation of that country, whose infrastructure was destroyed by American bombing and then rebuilt in a shoddy manner by American contractors who had to redo the jobs they did once. More than three-quarters of the ancient Catholic population of Iraq has been forced to flee to other lands and historic Catholic churches were levelled to the ground by American forces and by invaders from Iran who took full advantage of the fact that the American invasion sixteen years ago left Iraq’s borders more porous than the American border with the United Mexican States.

The spread of Protestantism and Judeo-Masonry by the United States of America is evil. Hideously evil.

The spread of contraception and other “family planning” programs by means of American foreign that began under President Richard Milhous Nixon fifty years ago this year is evil.

The spread of immodest fashions, blasphemous entertainment and riotous “music” designed to agitate the soul and to lead people into lives of rebellion and nihilism is evil.

The “lesser of two evils” leads to the inexorable mainstreaming and institutionalizing of evil, which can never be retarded by means merely natural. Indeed, the anti-Incarnational civil state of Modernity has been crafted by the devil himself to produce the precise results we are seeing in a world gone mad, a world adrift without its King, Christ the King, and its Queen, Our King’s Most Blessed Mother.

Mind you, the many of the lords of conciliarism, especially in these days of the Latter-Day Apostates under Jorge Mario Bergoglio, have lent their full and vocal support for everything to do with the agenda of the homosexualist collective. The conciliar “bishops” in Germany have been particularly vocal in their enthusiastic and unqualified support for every perversity imaginable, have flown the “rainbow” flag of “diversity,” “toleration, and “respect.”

We must take seriously the following words of Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ that are contained in Chapter Ten of the Gospel according to Saint Matthew:

Behold I send you as sheep in the midst of wolves. Be ye therefore wise as serpents and simple as doves. [17] But beware of men. For they will deliver you up in councils, and they will scourge you in their synagogues. [18] And you shall be brought before governors, and before kings for my sake, for a testimony to them and to the Gentiles: [19] But when they shall deliver you up, take no thought how or what to speak: for it shall be given you in that hour what to speak. [20] For it is not you that speak, but the Spirit of your Father that speaketh in you.

[21] The brother also shall deliver up the brother to death, and the father the son: and the children shall rise up against their parents, and shall put them to death. [22] And you shall be hated by all men for my name's sake: but he that shall persevere unto the end, he shall be saved. [23] And when they shall persecute you in this city, flee into another. Amen I say to you, you shall not finish all the cities of Israel, till the Son of man come. [24] The disciple is not above the master, nor the servant above his lord. [25] It is enough for the disciple that he be as his master, and the servant as his lord. If they have called the goodman of the house Beelzebub, how much more them of his household?

[26] Therefore fear them not. For nothing is covered that shall not be revealed: nor hid, that shall not be known. [27] That which I tell you in the dark, speak ye in the light: and that which you hear in the ear, preach ye upon the housetops. [28] And fear ye not them that kill the body, and are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him that can destroy both soul and body in hell. [29] Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and not one of them shall fall on the ground without your Father. [30] But the very hairs of your head are all numbered.

[31] Fear not therefore: better are you than many sparrows. [32] Every one therefore that shall confess me before men, I will also confess him before my Father who is in heaven. [33] But he that shall deny me before men, I will also deny him before my Father who is in heaven. [34] Do not think that I came to send peace upon earth: I came not to send peace, but the sword. [35] For I came to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.

[36] And a man's enemies shall be they of his own household. [37] He that loveth father or mother more than me, is not worthy of me; and he that loveth son or daughter more than me, is not worthy of me. [38] And he that taketh not up his cross, and followeth me, is not worthy of me. [39] He that findeth his life, shall lose it: and he that shall lose his life for me, shall find it. [40] He that receiveth you, receiveth me: and he that receiveth me, receiveth him that sent me.

[41] He that receiveth a prophet in the name of a prophet, shall receive the reward of a prophet: and he that receiveth a just man in the name of a just man, shall receive the reward of a just man. [42] And whosoever shall give to drink to one of these little ones a cup of cold water only in the name of a disciple, amen I say to you, he shall not lose his reward. (Matthew 10: 16-40.)

We must never fear to proclaim the truths of the Holy Faith, especially as the time of the Roman caesars and their persecution of believing Catholics has returned, this time with the full support and enabling of a putative Successor of Saint Peter and many of his equally putative clergy.

As Pope Saint Pius X reminded us that the only way to call men back to the “majesty and empire of God” except “by means of Jesus Christ,” something that so many “conservatives” and Americanist Catholics believe is either imprudent, “divisive” or entirely unnecessary:

But, Venerable Brethren, we shall never, however much we exert ourselves, succeed in calling men back to the majesty and empire of God, except by means of Jesus Christ. "No one," the Apostle admonishes us, "can lay other foundation than that which has been laid, which is Jesus Christ." (I. Cor., iii., II.) It is Christ alone "whom the Father sanctified and sent into this world" (Is. x., 36), "the splendor of the Father and the image of His substance" (Hebr. i., 3), true God and true man: without whom nobody can know God with the knowledge for salvation, "neither doth anyone know the Father but the Son, and he to whom it shall please the Son to reveal Him." (Matth. xi., 27.) Hence it follows that to restore all things in Christ and to lead men back to submission to God is one and the same aim. To this, then, it behoves Us to devote Our care -- to lead back mankind under the dominion of Christ; this done, We shall have brought it back to God. When We say to God We do not mean to that inert being heedless of all things human which the dream of materialists has imagined, but to the true and living God, one in nature, triple in person, Creator of the world, most wise Ordainer of all things, Lawgiver most just, who punishes the wicked and has reward in store for virtue. (Pope Saint Pius X, E Supremi, October 4, 1903.)

Pope Saint Pius X also reminded us that the way to Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ can be found only through His true Church, not through some nebulous “Judeo-Christian” values that numerous writers, including Patrick Joseph Buchanan, who knows that the Catholic Church is the true Church but who continues to write in politically ecumenical terms with a respect for Protestantism, which is not a true religion and is the fountainhead of the anti-Incarnational civil state of Modernity, and everyone who writes for Lifesite News, where great respect is shown for Protestant “pastors” who have no mission and no power from the true God of Divine Revelation to anything to advance the sanctification and salvation of souls. Catholicism is the sole basis of social order, nothing else, and Pope Saint Pius X noted this very clearly:

Now the way to reach Christ is not hard to find: it is the Church. Rightly does Chrysostom inculcate: "The Church is thy hope, the Church is thy salvation, the Church is thy refuge." ("Hom. de capto Euthropio," n. 6.) It was for this that Christ founded it, gaining it at the price of His blood, and made it the depositary of His doctrine and His laws, bestowing upon it at the same time an inexhaustible treasury of graces for the sanctification and salvation of men.

You see, then, Venerable Brethren, the duty that has been imposed alike upon Us and upon you of bringing back to the discipline of the Church human society, now estranged from the wisdom of Christ; the Church will then subject it to Christ, and Christ to God. If We, through the goodness of God Himself, bring this task to a happy issue, We shall be rejoiced to see evil giving place to good, and hear, for our gladness, "a loud voice from heaven saying: Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God and the power of his Christ." (Apoc. xii., 10.) But if our desire to obtain this is to be fulfilled, we must use every means and exert all our energy to bring about the utter disappearance of the enormous and detestable wickedness, so characteristic of our time -- the substitution of man for God; this done, it remains to restore to their ancient place of honor the most holy laws and counsels of the gospel; to proclaim aloud the truths taught by the Church, and her teachings on the sanctity of marriage, on the education and discipline of youth, on the possession and use of property, the duties that men owe to those who rule the State; and lastly to restore equilibrium between the different classes of society according to Christian precept and custom. This is what We, in submitting Ourselves to the manifestations of the Divine will, purpose to aim at during Our Pontificate, and We will use all our industry to attain it. It is for you, Venerable Brethren, to second Our efforts by your holiness, knowledge and experience and above all by your zeal for the glory of God, with no other aim than that Christ may be formed in all. (Pope Saint Pius X, E Supremi, October 4, 1903.)

In other words, there is no salvation in politics. We are living in a time of profound chastisement with all the forces of the civil state and that of the counterfeit church of conciliarism arrayed against us.

So what?

The only thing that must matter to us to remain faithful until we die and to be ready to suffer all, including actual martyrdom. Nothing we lose in this world, including our very lives at the hands of the evil men and women and mutants who make up the fascistic administration of the corrupt, physically decrepit, morally sick, and intellectually dishonest statist named Joseph Robinette Biden, Jr., that is intent on crushing all opposition, matters if we persevere until the end in a state of Sanctifying Grace as members of the true Church, the Catholic Church, outside of which there is no salvation and without which there can be no true social order. Without Our Lady’s graces, though, we will be lost, which is why we had better be quite intent on praying her Most Holy Rosary daily.

In all the difficulties of these times, though, we must remember that we have nothing to fear as the graces won for us by the shedding of Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ and that flow into our hearts and souls through the loving hands of Our Lady, she who is the Mediatrix of All Graces, will be ever sufficient for us to carry whatever crosses in whatever circumstances of whatever time God has from all eternity appointed them to live and to work out their salvation in fear and in trembling.

The following prayers, found in The Raccolta, should fill us with peace in the midst of the difficult times in which we live:

Lord Jesus Christ, who didst say unto Thine Apostles: “Peace I leave with you, my peace I gve unto you,” regard not our sins but Thy merits, and grant unto Thy servants, that they whom the Almighty Father hath created and governeth, and whom Thou hast ordained unto everlasting life, may love one another with all their hearts for Thy sake, and may be made one in spirit and rejoice in Thy perpetual peace. Lord Jesus Christ, concerning whom the Prophet hath said: “And all kings of the earth shall adore Him, all nations shall serve Him,” extend thy reign upon the whole human race. Send upon all men the light of Thy faith, deliver them from all the snares and bonds of passion, and direct them to heavenly things; and graciously grant, that the states and nations may be united by means of Thine immaculate Bride, Holy Church, and through the intercession of the blessed Virgin Mary, Queen of Peace, may serve Thee in all humility; and that all tongues and peoples may form one great choir, to praise Thee both day and night, to bless Thee, to exalt Thee, O King of the nations and the Ruler thereof, O Prince of prince immortal King of ages. Amen. (The Raccolta: A Manual of Indulgences, Prayers and Devotions Enriched with Indulgences, approved by Pope Pius XII, May 30, 1951, and published in English by Benziger Brothers, New York, 1957, Number 703, pp. 558-559.)

O God, who art the author and lover of peace, in knowledge of whom is eternal life, whose service is a kingly state; defend us Thy humble servants from all assaults of our enemies; that we, surely trusting in Thy defense, may not fear the power of any adversaries. Through Christ Our Lord. Amen. (The Raccolta: A Manual of Indulgences, Prayers and Devotions Enriched with Indulgences, approved by Pope Pius XII, May 30, 1951, and published in English by Benziger Brothers, New York, 1957, Number 703, pp. 559-560.)

O merciful Queen of the Rosary of Pompeii, thou, the Seat of Wisdom, hast established a throne of fresh mercy in the land that once was pagan, in order to draw all nations to salvation by means of the chaplet of thy mystic roses: remember thy divine Son hath left us this saying: “Other sheep I have that are not of this fold; them also must I bring, and they shall hear  voice; and there shall be one fold, and one Shepherd.” Remember likewise that on Calvary thou didst become our Co-Redemptrix, by virtue of the crucifixion of Thy heart cooperating with Thy Crucified Son in the salvation of the world; and from that day thou didst become the Restorer of the human race, the Refuge of sinners, and the Mother of all mankind. Behold, dear Mother, how man souls are lost every hour! Behold, how countless millions of those who dwell in India, in China, and in barbarous regions do not yet know our Lord Jesus Christ! See, too, how many others are indeed Christians and are nevertheless far from the bosom of Mother Church which is Catholic, Apostolic and Roman! O Mary, powerful mediator, advocate of the human race, full of love for us who are mortal, the life of our hearts, blessed Virgin of the Rosary of Pompeii, where thou dost nothing else save dispense heaven’s favors upon the afflicted, grant that a ray of thy heavenly light may shine forth to enlighten those many blinded understanding and to enkindle so cold hearts. Intercede with thy Son and obtain grace for all the pagans, Jews, heretics and schismatics in the whole world to receive supernatural light and to enter with joy into the bosom of the true Church. Hear the confident prayer of the Supreme Pontiff [of Holy Church in these times of papal vacancy], that all nations may be joined in the one faith, may know and love Jesus Christ, the blessed fruit of thy womb, who liveth and reigneth with the Father and the Holy Spirit world without end. And then all men shall love thee also, thou who art the salvation of the world, arbiter and dispenser of the treasures of God, and Queen of mercy in the valley of Pompeii. And glorifying thee, the Queen of Victories, who by means of thy Rosary, dost trample upon all heresies, they shall acknowledge that thou givest life to all the nations, since there must be a fulfillment of the prophecy in the Gospel: “All generations shall call me blessed.” (The Raccolta: A Manual of Indulgences, Prayers and Devotions Enriched with Indulgences, approved by Pope Pius XII, May 30, 1951, and published in English by Benziger Brothers, New York, 1957, Number 628, pp. 501-503.)

There is a whole lot of good, solid Catholic theology in the prayer just above.

Our Lady is the Co-Redemptrix of the human race.

Our Lady is the Seat of Wisdom.

Our Lady is our Refuge of Sinners.

Our Lady is the Treasurer of all the graces won for us by her Divine Son on the wood of the Holy Cross.

Our Lady is also our Immaculate Queen to whose Immaculate Heart has been entrusted the cause of world peace and the restoration of all things in her Divine Son, Christ the King, something that Pope Pius XII noted in his prayer consecrating the world to the Immaculate Heart of Mary, she who is the Queen of Heaven and Earth:

Queen of the most holy Rosary, help of Christians, refuge of the human race, victorious in all the battles of God, we prostrate ourselves in supplication before thy throne, in the sure hope of obtaining mercy and of receiving grace and timely aid in our present calamities, not through any merits of our own on which we do not rely, but only through the immense goodness of thy mother’s Heart. In Thee and in thy Immaculate Heart, at this grave hour of human history, do we put our trust; to thee we consecrate ourselves, not only with all of Holy Church, which is the mystical body of thy Son Jesus, and which is suffering in so many of her members, being persecuted, but also with the whole world, torn by discords, agitated with the hatred, the victim of its own iniquities. Be thou moved by the sight of such material and moral degradation, such sorrows, such anguish, so many tormented souls in danger of eternal loss! Do thou, O Mother of mercy, obtain for us from God a Christ-like reconciliation of the nations, as well as those graces which can convert the souls of men in an instant, those graces which prepare the way and make certain the long desired coming of peace on earth. O Queen of peace, pray for us, and grant unto the world in the truth, the justice, and the charity of Christ. Above all, give us peace in our hearts, so that the kingdom of God, may spread it the tranquility of order. Accord thy protection to unbelievers and to all those who lie in the shadow of death; cause the Sun of Truth to rise upon them; may they enabled to join with us in repeating before the Saviour of the world: “Glory to God in the highest, and peace to men of good will.” Give peace to the nations that are separated us from error or discord, and in a special manner to those peoples who profess a singular devotion toward thee; bring them back to Christ’s one fold, under the one true Shepherd. Obtain full freedom for the holy Church of God; defend her from her enemies; check the ever-increasing torrent of immorality; arouse in the faithful a practical love of purity, a practical Christian life, and an apostolic zeal, so that the number of those who serve God may increase in merit and in number. Finally, even as the Church and all mankind were once consecrated to the Heart of thy Son Jesus, because He was for all those who put their hope in Him an inexhaustible source of victory and salvation, so in like manner do we consecrate ourselves forever to thee also and to thy Immaculate Heart, Of Mother us and Queen of the world; may thy love and patronage hasten the day when the kingdom of God shall be victorious and all the nations, at peace with God and with one another, shall call thee blessed and intone with thee, from the rising of the sun to its going down, the everlasting “Magnificat” of glory, of love, of gratitude to the Heart of Jesus in which we alone can find truth, life, and peace. (Pope Pius XII, Rescript from the Secretariat of State, November 17, 1942, document exhibited, November 19, 1942, The Raccolta: A Manual of Indulgences, Prayers and Devotions Enriched with Indulgences, approved by Pope Pius XII, May 30, 1951, and published in English by Benziger Brothers, New York, 1957, pp. 345-347.)

The restoration of all things in Christ, a restoration that will include China, of course, will occur as a result of the fulfillment of her Fatima Message after the restoration of a true pope on the Throne of Saint Peter, which will occur miraculously at a time of God’s choosing. All we have to do is persist in our prayers as we maintain a joy-filled hope that we might, by virtue of the graces Our Lady sends to us, be able to plant a few seeds for the restoration of all things in Christ the King as a result of the Triumph of her own Immaculate Heart.

Vivat Christus Rex! Viva Cristo Rey!

Michael Richard Pence’s “Evolution” on “Respect” for Sodomy

BERLIN — U.S. Ambassador to Germany Richard Grenell says the Trump administration has strong backing at home from Republicans and even religious conservatives for its push to end laws that criminalize homosexuality in foreign countries, telling NBC News that he’s “wildly supported by both parties.”

In an exclusive interview in Berlin, Grenell says he has no concerns that the campaign he announced this week could trigger resistance from elements of President Donald Trump’s base, such as evangelicals who have pushed back against policies like gay marriage in the United States. He says the new global effort is focused narrowly on ending criminalization.

“This is a bipartisan push. People understand — religious people, individuals who may not always be in the LGBTI fight — they understand that criminalizing homosexuality is absolutely wrong,” Grenell said. “It is unbelievable to believe that in today’s world a 32 –year-old man in Iran can be hanged simply for being gay. That’s unacceptable.”

Grenell says he’s spoken with senators who support leveraging U.S. influence by conditioning American economic aid on countries eradicating laws that outlaw homosexuality, but he declined to say which senators supported that measure

“That’s certainly not going to be an easy task, but I think we’ve got some great support on the Hill,” Grenell says.

While the campaign thus far has largely emphasized criticism of Iran for reported executions of gays, Grenell says the issue is much larger.

“This is not about Iran. This is not just about Iran,” he says. “This is about 71 countries, and Iran is one of them.”

Grenell sat down with NBC News as three U.S. officials say he is under consideration to be Trump’s next ambassador to the United Nations, a post for which he was also considered previously. Trump’s initial pick to replace Nikki Haley, Heather Nauert, withdrew from consideration over the weekend, creating an opening for one of the most prominent roles on Trump’s foreign policy team.

“I serve at the pleasure of the president,” Grenell said when asked if he was interested in the U.N. job. Pressed again on whether he would consider taking the position, he said: “I really serve at the pleasure of the president.”

The Trump administration effort, first disclosed Tuesday by NBC News, aims at pressuring the 71 countries that still penalize homosexual activity to change their laws, including those that subject gay people to the death penalty or imprisonment. U.S. embassies in Europe and the State Department’s human rights bureau are organizing the effort, which kicked off Tuesday with a strategy dinner that included a dozen LGBT activists from Europe flown in by the U.S. Embassy in Berlin.

The vocal push from Grenell, the highest-profile openly gay person serving in Trump’s administration, stands in contrast to the administration’s perceived record on gay rights. Vice President Mike Pence, in particular, has faced intense criticism from LGBT groups who argue he’s supported policies that are anti-LGBT, such as opposing same-sex marriage and opposing the lifting of the ban on gays serving openly in the military.

Asked whether Pence, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and Trump himself were on board with his efforts, Grenell said that “decriminalizing homosexuality is something that people absolutely agree is a policy that we have to move forward on.”

Pence’s office told NBC News Wednesday afternoon that the vice president supports the policy that Grenell is advocating and note that Pence had criticized Iran as recently as last week in Warsaw, where he said: "The authoritarian regime in Tehran represses the freedom of speech and assembly, it persecutes religious minorities, brutalizes women, executes gay people, and openly advocates the destruction of the State of Israel."

Yet some LGBT groups were quick to dismiss Grenell’s efforts, with some suggesting the Trump administration was trying to paper over its broader policies that have rolled back gay rights.

“We’d believe that the Trump administration will work to protect LGBTQ people around the world if they had not attacked LGBTQ people in the U.S. over 90 times since taking office,” said GLAAD, the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation.

Stuart Milk, an LGBT activist and nephew of civil rights leader Harvey Milk, said it was “unique” to have a right-leaning administration “leading the charge on an issue that does make a difference in people’s lives.” Milk attended the strategy dinner with Grenell and said he would support anyone who wanted to take on decriminalization.

“My criticism of the Trump administration has been steady. I have actually said that policies coming out of the White House and statements have been life-negating, not just for LGBT people but for many, many communities,” Milk tells NBC News. “But when any administration does something right, we’re going to be there.”

At Tuesday’s dinner, activists from Turkey, Ukraine, Bulgaria and other European countries joined an Iranian expat and Grenell around a large table to hash out strategy for the campaign. Grenell says it will require “71 different strategies” to change the laws in countries that in many cases are dictatorships and monarchies where even domestic public pressure can be ineffective at exacting change.

While the campaign dovetails with the administration’s longstanding efforts to isolate Iran diplomatically and shame its government for its behavior, it also risks creating new tensions with important U.S. allies if the same standard is applied consistently.

Homosexuality is also punishable by death in Saudi Arabia, whose monarchy Trump has defended in the face of human rights allegations. Pakistan, Egypt, the United Arab Emirates and other U.S. partners also have laws on the books used to penalize same-sex activity.

“No one is saying this is going to be easy,” Grenell says. “We can have these conversations of human rights with our allies that clearly make homosexuality a crime and are not great on women’s rights as well. We have to be able to do both.”

Nevertheless, the outsize emphasis on Iran — the Trump administration’s top geopolitical foe — came into clear focus as the activists gathered with Grenell at the U.S. ambassador’s residence.

Hourvash Pourkian, who was born in Iran but left for Europe before the 1979 Iranian Revolution, says it’s incumbent upon the U.S. and European countries to call more attention to Iran’s rights abuses against gays. But she suggested there was little likelihood anything would change while the current Tehran government is still in power.

“I don’t know if there is any possibility to negotiate with Iranian diplomacy,” Pourkian says. “I don’t think so. They refuse. For them, it doesn’t eist.” (Grenell has Pence's Support.)

The “moving forward” phrase is nothing new for Michael Richard Pence as he used it to excuse his own surrender to the homosexual collective as he backed down from a bill passed by the State Legislature of Indiana to afford “religious liberty” protections for merchants who were being targeted by sodomite activists for compliance with their agenda and silence about their beliefs in exchange for those merchants being able to stay in business without massive fines and constant acts of harassment.

This is what I wrote in April of 2015 when Indiana Governor Michael Richard Pence played the part of Pontius Pilate and said that it was important to “move forward” after he cave in the face of the threats of economic boycotts made by the homosexualist lobby and their corporate stooges:

Last week, Holy Week, saw the Indiana State Legislature’s efforts to use the heresy of “religious liberty” as the foundation to provide merchants such as the O’Connors with a legal defense if sued for refusing to serve practitioners of perversity on religious grounds come under national fire. As Judge Napolitano noted, the original "restoration of religious freedom" law would not have withstood constitutional muster at the Supreme Court of the United States of America. The ensuing maelstrom was such that Indiana Governor Michael Richard “Mike” Pence, whose mother’s family were Catholics, backed off from the “religious freedom restoration” bill that he had signed on Thursday, March 26, 2015, and used Maundy Thursday, April 2, 2015, to sign a “fix” to the law that makes it illegal for service providers to deny service to customers on the basis of “sexual orientation”:

Indiana Gov. Mike Pence urged residents to "move forward together" Thursday after signing off on revisions to a new religious objections law that had sparked criticism that it would allow discrimination against gays.

Lawmakers and business leaders worked together to craft an amendment that prohibits service providers from using the law as a legal defense for refusing to provide services, goods, facilities or accommodations. It also bars discrimination based on race, color, religion, ancestry, age, national origin, disability, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or U.S. military service.

The measure exempts churches and affiliated schools, along with nonprofit religious organizations.

Many groups that had criticized the version of the law signed by Pence hailed the new language. But others said it was worse than the original and could lead to bigger problems.

"There will be some who think this legislation goes too far and some who think it does not go far enough," Pence acknowledged in a statement after signing the amended legislation. "I believe resolving this controversy and making clear that every person feels welcome and respected in our state is best for Indiana."

SHOW OF SUPPORT

Two of Indiana's largest business groups praised the changes.

Indiana Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Kevin Brinegar said Indiana "has suffered tremendously" during the past week's uproar and that the new language is "what businesses and individuals from around the state, country and world needed to hear."

Indy Chamber President and CEO Michael Huber called the changes "a major step in the right direction in efforts to protect the rights of all Hoosiers."

And NCAA President Mark Emmert said the association was "very pleased" with the changes. The Indianapolis-based NCAA was among the first to express concern about the law when it was passed last week. The Final Four is being held in Indianapolis this weekend, and Emmert said the NCAA would consider moving future events out of state if the law wasn't revised.

The women's Final Four is scheduled to be held in Indianapolis next year.

OPPONENTS BRISTLE

Opponents of the changes said they didn't go far enough and could do more harm than good.

Democratic lawmakers called for a repeal of the law Thursday, urging lawmakers to start from scratch.

"I want to hear somebody say, 'We made a grave mistake, and we caused the state tremendous embarrassment that will take months, if not years, to repair,'" House Minority Leader Scott Pelath said. "I want to hear one of the proponents 'fess up, because the healing cannot begin until that happens."

Consumer reporting agency Angie's List, which announced it was putting a planned $40 million expansion on hold over the law, also called for a repeal.

"Employers in most of the state of Indiana can fire a person simply for being lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender or questioning. That's just not right and that's the real issue here. Our employees deserve to live, work and travel with open accommodations in any part of the state," said CEO Bill Oesterle.

Micah Clark of the American Family Association of Indiana said the Legislature's actions didn't clarify the law as Pence had requested but instead changed it in "a way that could now erode religious freedom across Indiana."

"If this revised law does not adequately protect religious liberty for all, it is not really a religious freedom act," Clark said.

Mark Rienzi, senior counsel of the Becket Fund for Religious Liberty in Washington, D.C., said the new language "carves up religious rights" and that the state would be better off if it adopted the language in the 1993 federal Religious Freedom Restoration Act.

Many groups said the changes are a good first step but urged lawmakers to do more, including adding protections for sexual orientation and gender identity to the state's civil-rights law.

The American Civil Liberties Union said the changes have lessened the harm of the law but that "significant problems" still need to be addressed, including whether the law can be used to deny rights to others, including in education and access to health care.

The group's state affiliate noted that the amendment marks the first time that Indiana law has included positive references to sexual orientation and gender identity. But it said statewide civil-rights protections are still needed.

Two gay rights groups, Freedom Indiana and Lambda Legal, also called for broader protections.

Freedom Indiana campaign manager Katie Blair said the changes "represent an important step forward" and reduce the threat to lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender residents.

But she said that without statewide anti-discrimination laws for the LGBT community, "discrimination is still legal" in most of Indiana. (Pence signs religious freedom bill fix.)

One wonders if Governor Pence has his finger bowl handy on Maundy Thursday as he signed the "fix" into law.

In other words, Indiana Governor Mike Pence threw in the towel as a result of the financial pressure, much of it engendered by the same insidious organization that supports illegal immigration, the United States Chamber of Commerce, and lobbying by lavender Nazis such as Apple Chief Executive Officer Tim Cook, who is an aggressive, in-your-face advocate of the perversity that he practices, and the usually array of “human rights” organizations. Absent the true Faith, good readers, sentimentality must triumph as sins of all manner, including those against nature, are celebrated culturally and protected under cover of the civil law. The fact that such a monstrous thing as “gay marriage” has swept its way into law and into widespread public approval is the result of the very heresy of “religious liberty” that the conciliar “popes,” including Jorge Mario Bergoglio, have told us repeatedly is the “key” to “peace” even though Pope Pius VI called it a “monstrous right”.

No, the “moving forward” slogan from the apostate named Michael Richard Pence is nothing new.

Mr. Vice President, how is it “moving forward” to impose on other nations a blithe acceptance of the sin of Sodom, which is one of the four sins that cry out to Heaven for vengeance?

Lost in this exercise of pure emotional manipulation to curry sympathy for “persecuted” sodomites worldwide, especially in Mohammedan countries, is the fact that the death penalty for sodomy was imposed in the era of Christendom during the Middle Ages, and its imposition upon clerics found to be recidivist sodomites was urged by none other than the Pope of the Holy Rosary, Pope Saint Pius V:

That horrible crime, on account of which corrupt and obscene cities were destroyed by fire through divine condemnation, causes us most bitter sorrow and shocks our mind, impelling us to repress such a crime with the greatest possible zeal

Quite opportunely the Fifth Lateran Council [1512-1517] issued this decree: "Let any member of the clergy caught in that vice against nature . . . be removed from the clerical order or forced to do penance in a monastery" (chap. 4, X, V, 31). So that the contagion of such a grave offense may not advance with greater audacity by taking advantage of impunity, which is the greatest incitement to sin, and so as to more severely punish the clerics who are guilty of this nefarious crime and who are not frightened by the death of their souls, we determine that they should be handed over to the severity of the secular authority, which enforces civil law

Therefore, wishing to pursue with the greatest rigor that which we have decreed since the beginning of our pontificate, we establish that any priest or member of the clergy, either secular or regular, who commits such an execrable crime, by force of the present law be deprived of every clerical privilege, of every post, dignity and ecclesiastical benefit, and having been degraded by an ecclesiastical judge, let him be immediately delivered to the secular authority to be put to death, as mandated by law as the fitting punishment for laymen who have sunk into this abyss. (Pope Saint Pius V, Horrendum illud scelus, August 30, 1568.)

Death, not "respect," "brotherhood" and "mainstreaming" for the sake of "inclusivity," was what Pope Saint Pius V, faithful to the teaching of Saint Paul the Apostle in his Epistle to the Roman cited above, believed should be imposed on the clergy as well as the laity who were caught in "such an execrable crime" that caused him "such better sorrow" shocked his papal mind as he sought to "repress such a crime with the greatest possible zeal."

Obviously, it is neither possible nor advisable in the midst of the madness produced by the religiously indifferentist civil state of Modernism to impose the sort of penalties upon sodomites who flaunt their behavior openly and unrepentantly that existed during the era of Christendom and that the Apostle to the Gentiles, Saint Paul, noted in his Epistle to the Romans that deserve death:

For this cause God delivered them up to shameful affections. For their women have changed the natural use into that use which is against nature. And, in like manner, the men also, leaving the natural use of the women, have burned in their lusts one towards another, men with men working that which is filthy, and receiving in themselves the recompense which was due to their error. And as they liked not to have God in their knowledge, God delivered them up to areprobate sense, to do those things which are not convenient; Being filled with all iniquity, malice, fornication, avarice, wickedness, full of envy, murder, contention, deceit, malignity, whisperers, Detractors, hateful to God, contumelious, proud, haughty, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, Foolish, dissolute, without affection, without fidelity, without mercy. Who, having known the justice of God, did not understand that they who do such things, are worthy of death; and not only they that do them, but they also that consent to them that do them. (Romans 1: 26-32)

Perhaps Vice President Michael Richard Pence missed this in a Protestant Wednesday evening heretical "Bible Study” program as he was probably too busy trying to “move forward” now as he had done in Indiana four years ago when he played the role of Pontius Pilate by washing his hands of his surrender to the homosexual collective and, perhaps even more pertinently, also played the role of Judas Iscariot by taking the thirty piece of silver that American and multinational corporate entities threatened to take away from the State of Indiana if he did not agree to “move forward.”

While it is true that not every sin can is to be punished by the civil state, it is also true that the civil state has a duty to foster those conditions that make it more possible for citizens to sanctify and to save their immortal souls. Scandalous acts of sodomites committed in public and efforts on the part of sodomites to promote their wicked, perverse and unnatural behavior as an expression of “love” that does not “hurt” anyone else are punishable by the civil state. This is simply a statement of the right of states to preserve a just public order that is part of its duties under the binding precepts of the Natural Law.

Mind you, each human being, including unrepentant sinners, are to be treated with respect and kindness. However, it is no work of kindness to reaffirm sinners in their lives of perdition and it is not work of true Charity to do anything, either by omission or commission, that reaffirms them in their sins, including daring to attend “wedding” ceremonies.

Believing Catholics do not seek to inflict violence upon hardened sinners. They seek to call such sinners to conversion, mindful that they themselves are sinners in need of conversion on a daily basis and to seek to make reparation for their own many sins that have all-too-frequently made them poor witnesses in behalf of Christ the King and His Holy Church, Our Lady and the binding precepts of the Divine Positive Law and the Natural Law. We will the good of all people, but the ultimate expression of the true good all people is the sanctification and salvation of their souls as members of the Catholic Church who confess their sins regularly, firmly resolve to amend their lives and to do penance for their sins.

There is no contradiction between treating all people with respect without respecting their sinful lives, and it is not against true Charity to shun people who desire to evangelize our children into accepting moral behavior that is base, perverted and degenerate. Remember, admonishing the sinner is one of the Spiritual Works of Mercy. It is only after all efforts to exhort and remonstrate with recidivist sodomites fail to bring them to repentance and an amendment of their lives that notorious public sinners would subject to the penalties of the civil law in a state organized on Catholic principles.
