"When He Cometh, Shall He Find, Think You, Faith on Earth?"

What more can be said? A week filled with one act of apostasy and blasphemy after another has passed before our very eyes. Words and actions that have contrary to the Catholic Faith and thus offend the honor and majesty of the Most Blessed Trinity greatly have engendered almost no outrage from ordinary Catholics, no less those who used to write quite correctly and quite forcefully about the exact same outrages committed by Karol Wojtyla/John Paul II.

Some in the Motu communities, which are, of course, attached to the structures of the counterfeit church of conciliarism, do not believe that they have any responsibility to oppose error or even to raise their voices in defense of the honor and majesty and glory of God. The question asked by Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ thus becomes quite pertinent in this era of apostasy and betrayal as even those who know better believe that "silence" and a "strategic" censorship is "necessary" to advance "goals" that involve having a modernized version of the Immemorial Mass of Tradition at the price of the integrity of the Faith, at the price of seeing it as at all necessary to denounce blasphemy and apostasy openly:

"When He Cometh, Shall He Find, Think You, Faith on Earth?"

This article is more or less a wrap-up of the week of apostasy and blasphemy and sacrilege that passed before our very eyes as Joseph Ratzinger/Benedict XVI called one mosque a "splendid" place of "worship", a veritable "jewel" that "stands out on earth" and called another mosque a "sacred place" and prayed as a Jew at the Wailing Wall while treating members of the Orthodox confessions as members of the "Church of Christ."  These are facts. These are facts that require us to make many acts of reparation to the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus through the Sorrowful and Immaculate Heat of Mary as we endeavor to pray as many Rosaries each day as our states-in-life permit.

Speaking of reparation, we should try to pray an extra Rosary today in reparation for the travesty and outrage of Our Lady's holy name being associated with the honorary doctorate being bestowed upon the pro-abort statist President of the United States of America today by the administrators of the University of Notre Dame du Lac. Although I have written three articles (Our Lady Does Not Honor Pro-Aborts and Honors Aplenty for Devils Galore and Having No Regard for the Horror of Personal Sin), a fourth will be written today after the events at my Master's alma mater unfold.

Our Lady of Fatima, pray for us. Saint Paschal Baylon, pray for us.

Finally, I feel as lonely as the Maytag repairman insofar as the Donations letter is concerned. Help us out to provide for our future needs if you can do so as the monies donated so generously to us earlier this month will indeed by expended by means of our monthly bills by the end of June.

Having No Regard for the Horror of Personal Sin

One of the reasons that Barack Hussein Obama is being honored tomorrow by the University of Notre Dame is that those who are honoring him have no regard for the horror of personal sin, which Barack Hussein Obama promotes under cover of the civil law by having signed Executive Orders to permit the assassination of innocent preborn children in their mothers' wombs with monies provided by American taxpayers. That there should be this loss of the horror of personal sin should not surprise us, however, as the spirit of conciliarism, enshrined in Paragraph Fifteen of the General Instruction to the Roman Missal as follows:

The same awareness of the present state of the world also influenced the use of texts from very ancient tradition. It seemed that this cherished treasure would not be harmed if some phrases were changed so that the style of language would be more in accord with the language of modern theology and would faithfully reflect the actual state of the Church's discipline. Thus there have been changes of some expressions bearing on the evaluation and use of the good things of the earth and of allusions to a particular form of outward penance belonging to another age in the history of the Church.

"Modern theology" obviates the need to make reparation for one's sins by performing outward acts of penance that belongs "to another age in the history of the Church? "Modern theology" is a lie that has led many, although not all, Catholics yet attached to the structures of the counterfeit church of conciliarism to lose all sense of the horror of personal sin as they see nothing wrong with various grave evils being promoted under cover of the civil law and even to applaud their "bishops" and "priests" when they are caught leading lives of unrepentant sin. This is all the work of the conciliar revolution.

Alas, it is also "modern theology" that has led so many Catholics who are justifiably outraged by the award that will be bestowed by my Master's alma mater on our pro-abortion, Marxist trained statist President of the United States of America to lose their sense of horror of the sins, objectively speaking, committed against the First Commandment, such as those committed so openly and brazenly by Joseph Ratzinger/Benedict XVI during his now-concluded visit to Jordan and Israel.

Some will say that it is not possible to judge "the pope," which, of course, we are not doing as Joseph Ratzinger is incapable of being a true Roman Pontiff as he fell from the Faith in his seminary days by subscribing to the condemned tenets of the New Theology, which caused him to be placed under suspicion of heresy by the Holy Office of the Inquisition during the pontificate of our last true pope, Pope Pius XII, and by his multiple defections from the Faith, some of which I have catalogued in Ratzinger's War Against Catholicism and summarized just yesterday in Keep Focused on Root Causes.

As a lot of people who access this site are "passers-by" who never read my articles (or only glance at them before moving on to some other website), it is perhaps useful once again to explode the "resist and recognize" errors that are propagated by the Society of Saint Pius X, whose bishops and priests have learned how to just as silent about "papal" offenses against the First Commandment as the priests and presbyters of the Motu communities whose ranks they hope one day to join, that have been summarized so well and so clearly by Mr. Michael Creighton (and that I have published previously in Shell Games With Souls and Pots and Kettles:

To briefly enumerate some of the problems in the SSPX, they are:

1  A rejection of the of the ordinary magisterium (Vatican I; Session III - Dz1792) which must be divinely revealed. For instance Paul VI claimed that the new mass and Vatican II were his “Supreme Ordinary Magisterium” and John Paul II promulgated his catechism which contains heresies and errors in Fide Depositum by his “apostolic authority” as “the sure norm of faith and doctrine” and bound everyone by saying who believes what was contained therein is in “ecclesial communion”, that is in the Church.

2  A rejection of the divinely revealed teaching expressed in Vatican I , Session IV, that the faith of Peter [the Pope] cannot fail. Three ancient councils are quoted to support this claim. (2nd Lyons, 4th Constantinople & Florence). Pope Paul IV’s bull Cum Ex Apostolatus Officio teaches the same in the negative sense of this definition.

3  A distortion of canon law opposed to virtually all the canonists of the Church prior to Vatican II which tell us a heretical pope ipso facto loses his office by the operation of the law itself and without any declaration. This is expressed in Canon 188.4 which deals with the divine law and footnotes Pope Paul IV’s bull, Cum ex Apostolatus Officio. The SSPX pretends that sections of the code on penalties somehow apply to the pope which flatly contradicted by the law itself. The SSPX pretends that jurisdiction remains in force when the code clearly says jurisdiction is lost and only ‘acts’ of jurisdiction are declared valid until the person is found out (canons 2264-2265). This is simply to protect the faithful from invalid sacraments, not to help heretics retain office and destroy the Church. Charisms of the office, unlike indelible sacraments, require real jurisdiction. The SSPX pretends that penalties of the censure of ipso facto excommunication cannot apply to cardinals since it reserved to Holy See (canon 2227). This is another fabrication since the law does not refer to automatic (latae sententiae) penalties but only to penalties in which a competent judge is needed to inflict or declare penalties on offenders. Therefore it only refers to condemnatory and declaratory sentences but not automatic sentences. To say that ipso facto does not mean what it says is also condemned by Pope Pius VI in Auctorem Fidei.

4  The SSPX holds a form of the Gallican heresy that falsely proposes a council can depose a true pope. This was already tried by the Council of Basle and just as history condemned those schismatics, so it will condemn your Lordship. This belief also denies canon 1556 “The First See is Judged by no one.” This of course means in a juridical sense of judgment, not remaining blind to apostasy, heresy and crime which automatically takes effect.

5  The SSPX denies the visible Church must manifest the Catholic faith. They claim that somehow these men who teach heresy can’t know truth. This is notion has been condemned by Vatican I, Session III, Chapter 2. It is also condemned by canon 16 of the 1917 code of canon law. Clearly LaSalette has been fulfilled. Rome is the seat of anti-Christ & the Church is eclipsed. Clearly, our Lords words to Sr. Lucy at Rianjo in 1931 have come to pass. His “Ministers [Popes] have followed the kings of France into misfortune”.

The SSPX reject every doctor of the Church and every Church father who are unanimous in stating a heretic ipso facto is outside the Church and therefore cannot possess jurisdiction & pretends that is only their opinion when St. Robert states “... it is proven, with arguments from authority and from reason, that the manifest heretic is ipso facto deposed.” The authority he refers to is the magisterium of the Church, not his own opinion.

7  Pope Pius XII’s Vacantis Apostolicae Sedis is misinterpreted by the SSPX to validly elect a heretic to office against the divine law. A public heretic cannot be a cardinal because he automatically loses his office. This decree only refers to cardinals and hence it does not apply to ex-cardinals who automatically lost their offices because they had publicly defected from the Catholic faith. The cardinals mentioned in this decree who have been excommunicated are still Catholic and still cardinals; hence their excommunication does not cause them to become non-Catholics and lose their offices, as does excommunication for heresy and public defection from the Catholic faith. This is what the Church used to call a minor excommunication. All post 1945 canonists concur that Vacantis Apostolicae Sedis does not remove ipso facto excommunication: Eduardus F. Regatillo (1956), Matthaeus Conte a Coronata (1950), Serapius Iragui (1959), A. Vermeersch - I. Creusen (1949), Udalricus Beste (1946) teach that a pope or cardinal or bishop who becomes a public heretic automatically loses his office and a public heretic cannot legally or validly obtain an office. Even supposing this papal statement could apply to non-Catholics (heretics), Pope Pius XII goes on to say “at other times they [the censures] are to remain in vigor” Does this mean the Pope intends that a notorious heretic will take office and then immediately lose his office? It is an absurd conclusion, hence we must respect the interpretation of the Church in her canonists.

Errors/Heresies typical of an SSPX chapel attendees & priests:

1)  We are free to reject rites promulgated by the Church. [Condemned by Trent Session VII, Canon XIII/Vatican I, Session II]

2)  The Pope can’t be trusted to make judgments on faith and morals. We have to sift what is Catholic. [Condemned by Vatican I, Session IV, Chapter III.]

3) We are free to reject or accept ordinary magisterial teachings from a pope since they can be in error. This rejection may include either the conciliar ‘popes’ when teach heresy or the pre-conciliar popes in order to justify the validity of the conciliar popes jurisdiction, sacraments, etc [Condemned by Vatican I (Dz1792)/Satis Cognitum #15 of Leo XIII]

4)  The Kantian doctrine of unknowability of reality. We can’t know what is heresy, therefore we can’t judge. [Condemned by Vatican I, Session III, Chapter 2: On Revelation, Jn7:24].

5)  The faith of the Pope can fail. Frequently this is expressed as “we work for” or “we pray for the Popes conversion to the Catholic faith”. [condemned by Vatican I and at least 3 earlier councils mentioned above].

6)  Universal salvation, ecumenism, religious liberty, validity of the Old Covenant, etc. can be interpreted in a Catholic sense. [Condemned by every saint, every doctor of the Church and every Pope who comments on such issues; for instance Pope Eugene IV (Cantate Domino – Council of Florence)]

7)  Contraries can be true. [Hegelian doctrine against Thomistic Philosophy]. If these positions appear to be contradictory, they are.

When I point out these positions are against the Faith, frequently the Hegelian doctrine is employed by those in attendance at the SSPX chapel.

Mr. Creighton's discussion of the Kantian doctrine of the unknowability of reality, that we can't know what is heresy, is also quite a common refrain promoted in the circles of the Priestly Fraternity of Saint Peter, which I review in the body of my current article.

Once again, I ask readers to to Father Anthony Cekada's The Errors of the Society of St Pius X and read His Excellency Bishop Donald Sanborn's Logical Chickens Coming Home to Roost: A Commentary on Recent Events in SSPX. The appendix that I provided in Story Time in Econe from Tumultuous Times about Gallicanism and the mythology of "heretical" popes is also useful reading.

There will be, God willing and Our Lady interceding, one final article, to be posted tomorrow morning, the Fifth Sunday after Easter and the Commemoration of the great saint of Eucharistic piety, Saint Paschal Baylon, on Ratzinger/Benedict's now concluded pilgrimage to Jordan and Israel, during which time he made not one reference at all to Our Lady's Most Holy Rosary while repeating yesterday his usual talk of "a search for unity" with the schismatic and heretical Orthodox leaders that has been the subject of several articles on this site, including What's a Thousand Years Among Friends? and Missing a Millennium.

Although Ratzinger/Benedict did speak quite correctly about the injustices that have been visited upon the Palestinians by the Israelis, something that angered the Israelis very much, he did not at all speak about the simple truth there is a path to peace in the Middle East: the unconditional conversion of everyone to the true Faith so that they can know the forgiveness of their sins in the Baptismal font, if not already baptized validly, or in the Sacred Tribunal of Penance and thus together establish the Social Reign of Christ the King in the Holy Land that became one of the primary goals of Pope Urban II when he preached the first Crusade in the year 1095. Or was Pope Urban II wrong to have done so?

Yes, Ratzinger/Benedict spoke to Catholics about Our Lord as the source of all peace in his address at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre yesterday, May 15, 2009,. This proclamation, however, is not reserved for Catholic audiences. It must be made to all at every opportunity imaginable without for one moment giving any credibiity or respect or esteem to any false religion or their hideous places of  "worship" at any time for any reason. Such, however, are the ways of the "double-thinking" of Modernism analyzed and condemned by Pope Saint Pius X in Pascendi Dominici Gregis, September 8, 1907.

Our Lady of Fatima, pray for us. Saint Ubaldus, pray for us.

Where are the responses to the Donations letter? We have one kind gentleman from Florida who is sending us a non-tax-deductible gift of fifty dollars a week (and I thank him very much for his kindness and generosity). We have another kind gentleman from Illinois who sends us a non-tax-deductible gift of one hundred dollars every few weeks. There is a gentleman from Nova Scotia who sends us twenty dollars every month. We have good friends from Texas whose support over the years have kept us so many times from going "belly up" and/or have helped us in true crisis situations with the motor home (now resting in storage). Must the burden of supporting this work--for those of you, of course, who agree with its contents and have the means to make non-tax-deductible financial gifts--fall on the shoulders of the same people over and over and over again. I do hope that more of you will respond to the Donations letter and make regular gifts to us. Remember, just a dollar or two or five from about a fifth of this site's regular readers would help us to meet our monthly expenses.

Thank you for any and all consideration that you can give to this request so that we do not have to into another crisis mode in six weeks or so when the proceeds of a generous gift made anonymously to us will have been expended on our monthly bills. We are very grateful to all of those who help us so  generously. We simply need more of you to join their ranks on a regular basis if you have a mind and the financial ability to do so.

Sincerely yours in Christ the King and Mary our Immaculate Queen, Thomas A. Droleskey.

Keep Focused on Root Causes

Without taking anything away from the true scandal represented by my Master's alma mater, the University of Notre Dame, honoring the pro-abort statist President of the United States of America, Barack Hussein Obama, we must keep focused on the root causes, both remote and proximate, of how such scandals occur. It is far, far easier for a formerly Catholic university to honor a man who has signed Executive Orders to authorize the execution of innocent preborn human beings, thereby authorizing the mystical dismemberment of Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ in the persons of innocent preborn children in their mothers' wombs, when the man who is believed, albeit falsely, by most people on the face of this earth to be the Vicar of Christ, Joseph Ratzinger/Benedict XVI offends God, by calling mosques "splendid" places of "worship" and veritable "jewels" that "stand out across the face of the earth" and when when he refuses to seek the conversion of those who adhere to the false religion of Talmudic Judaism (and as he lets his own curial officials go uncorrected when they assert publicly that the Catholic Church has no "mission from God" to do so.). Offenses against God, my friends, and His First Commandment make crimes against men more possible.

His Excellency Bishop Daniel L. Dolan preached on Wednesday, May 13, 2009, that a little known saint, Saint Servatus, who shares that day with Saint Robert Bellarmine and Our Lady of Fatima, had something to say about those who continue in communion with (una cum) "bishops" who defect from the Catholic Faith:

Servatus held the bishopric of Tongres (Belgium) at a time when the whole of Christendom had Arian tendencies. The all-powerful emperor, Constantius, was a heretic and supported the heresy; many bishops no longer believed in the divinity of Our Lord; St. Athanasius and St. Hilary, great champions of orthodoxy, were in exile.

The story of the Jewish origins of St. Servatus and his kinship with St. Anne appears legendary. It is not known when he became bishop of Tongres, but by 336, when St. Athanasius spent his exile at Trier, he had already occupied the see. The declaration which he made before the Council of Cologne in 346 informs us both of his meeting with the celebrated Alexandrian doctor and of his own orthodoxy. This is what he says in reference to the bishop of Cologne, deposed on that occasion: "It is not from hearsay that I know what he has been teaching, but from having myself heard it. Our churches are adjacent; many times I have had occasion to contradict him, when he has denied the divinity of Jesus Christ. It has happened in the presence of Athanasius, bishop of Alexandria. .. . I judge that he can no longer be bishop of Christians; and those do not deserve to be considered Christians who remain in communion with him."

After failing in his efforts to reconcile the usurper, Magnetius, with the Emperor Constantius, Servatus made a pilgrimage to Rome. He returned convinced that Tongres would soon fall to the Huns. Hastily he carried the relics of the church to Maestricht, and there, shortly afterwards, he died. The towns of Tongres remained thereafter for nearly a century without a bishop. (Omer Engelbert, The Lives of the Saints, Barnes and Noble, p. 186.)

We have heard and seen the offenses given to God by Joseph Ratzinger/Benedict XVI. We have read his apostate words that reek of the stench of his "New Theology," which is but the product of a recycled Modernism. We have seen how true popes have prophetically condemned his every belief about Divine Revelation and the nature of dogmatic truth and the nature of the Church and false ecumenism and inter-religious prayer services and esteeming false religions and their "values and religious liberty and separation of Church and State and Limbo and Justification and Biblical inerrancy, to name just a few ways Ratzinger/Benedict's views have been condemned by true popes in the decades before the "Second" Vatican Council.

To paraphrase Saint Servatus, how do we deserve to be considered Christians if we remain in communion with (una cum) Ratzinger/Benedict and his sham "bishops" when the evidence of his apostasy and his willingness to blaspheme and offend God so repeatedly is so clear?

Our Lady of Fatima, pray for us. Saint John Baptist de la Salle, pray for us. Saint Dymphna, pray for us.

I apologize for the delay in posting this article. Although it covers familiar ground to regular readers of this site, it is an original composition that is meant to summarize the incredible display of apostasy that we have witnessed in the past seven days. It simply took much longer for me to write it than I thought would be the case.

I will try to have a third article on the scandal of the University of Notre Dame's honoring the pro-abort statist Obama (Our Lady Does Not Honor Pro-Aborts and Honors Aplenty for Devils Galore have been my first two) by later today, certainly by tomorrow.

It's after Midnight yet again. Good night, and don't forget to read--and to respond to--the new Donations letter!

May 13 Article and Late Evening Update

Words and Actions of Antichrist

If yesterday's non-stop binge of apostasy and blasphemy and sacrilege is not enough to convince Catholics that Joseph Ratzinger/Benedict XVI is a figure of Antichrist, I rather doubt that even Ratzinger's making a formal announcement that this is the case would convince them of the fact. After all, someone who has access to a computer and an internet connection would claim that "the announcement that 'Pope' Benedict XVI is a figure of Antichrist is 'unofficial,' it has no standing, it does not bind anyone." Such is the self-made delusion of those who refuse to come to the defense of the honor and majesty and glory of God by denouncing Ratzinger/Benedict's words and actions that make a mockery of fidelity to the Deposit of Faith that Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ has entrusted exclusively to His Catholic Church for Its eternal safekeeping and infallible explication.  No one who doesn't "get it" now in light of the terrible apostasies being committed by Ratzinger/Benedict during his current pilgrimage to Jordan and Israel is likely to "get it" later. The hour is very late. Who will rise to the defense of the honor and glory and majesty of God and the integrity of the Catholic Faith?

Update: As the Ohio monsoons have hit the greater Cincinnati, Ohio, area, His Excellency Bishop Daniel L. Dolan's Fatima Rosary Procession, which is held on the thirteenth of every month between May and October in the "First Watch" parking lot in West Chester, Ohio, was transformed into a beautiful and most prayerful recitation of the fifteen decades of Our Lady's Most Holy Rosary in front of the exposed Blessed Sacrament.

Alas, however, the hour is very late. I've been up until the wee hours for five straight days, arising after about four or five hours of sleep, a little matter that has caught up with me. Work on a new article has begun. It will be posted late tomorrow afternoon, May 14, the Feast of Saint Boniface of Tarsus, not to be confused with Saint Boniface, the Apostle to Germany whose feast day is June 5. Thank you for your patience!

Some are contending, it appears, that Ratzinger/Benedict is "suffering" because he has been criticized by the Jews for not making a "strong enough" statement against the crimes of the Third Reich (and because his own incompetent spin doctor, Father Federico Lombardi, S.J., denied that he, Ratzinger/Benedict, had ever joined the Hitler Youth, which even Ratzinger himself has admitted he did as a matter of "compulsion") and for Mohammedans for not condemning the crimes of the Israeli Defense Forces more forcefully. This criticism is the result of Ratzinger/Benedict's refusing to exhort Mohammedans and Jews to convert to the true Faith.

If one is willing to run the risk of being criticized for making carefully crafted statements that are designed to offend as few people as possible, why not be willing to run the risk of total rejection by doing what the Apostles did: to proclaim and before all that the Catholic Faith is the only foundation and personal and social order, and that it is an act God's great Mercy to us that He sent His Most Blessed Mother to earth this very day to show us that her Immaculate Heart is the path the His true peace that exists in souls by means of Sanctifying Grace? Alas, those who offend God by means of endless acts of apostasy and sacrilege will never satisfy human beings who want absolute adherence to their own false beliefs without any compromise whatsoever.

What's so difficult about repeating with Pope Saint Pius X the injunction that he took from Saint Paul's Epistle to the Ephesians? Omnia instaurare in Christo?

Our Lady of Fatima, pray for us. Saint Robert Bellarmine, pray for us.

A new Donations letter has now been posted. These articles (and the details of getting settled in our new house and of fulfilling all Masonic righteousness with respect to drivers' licenses and automobile registrations) have kept me pretty busy. Suffice it to say that we always need non-tax-deductible gifts, and I hope that those who support the work of this site and have the means to make such gifts will do so on a regular basis.

Remember, just a dollar or two a month from seventy percent of those who access this site regularly could keep us from going into a crisis mode again. Those who support the work of this site know that a lot of hard work goes into the composition of these articles. I hope and pray that those who support the work of this site who have the means to make non-tax-deductible gifts will consider the laborer to be worth his keep. Thank you.

Finally, Mrs. Anne Smith asks for prayers for an elderly woman in Massachusetts who may be near death. Please join her in these prayers as the women, who is ninety years of age, has been a very devoted Catholic and had had many true Masses offered in home over the years.

How Catholics Act and Speak in Jerusalem

Joseph Ratzinger/Benedict XVI is in Israel. What more needs to be said about this article, especially since it is now 1:10 a.m. on the Feast of Saints Nereus, Achilleus, Domitilla, and Pancras, and as I am still not over what has been ailing me these last ten weeks? All to thee, Blessed Mother. All to thy Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart. Jesus, Mary and Joseph, we love you. Save souls!

Look for another article tomorrow, one that will deal with the continuing scandal at the University of Notre Dame, which must be placed in the context of the scandals caused by Joseph Ratzinger/Benedict XVI's repeated violations of the First Commandment by the esteeming he is paying to false religions that deny the Sacred Divinity of Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ and that make warfare against the Catholic Church. Then again, Joseph Ratzinger himself, of course, has engaged in a lifelong war against Catholicism.

Saints Nereus, Achilleus, Domitilla, and Pancras, pray for us.

Knights of Conciliarism

This is a follow-up article to Accustomed to Apostasy, focusing on the fact that the scandals associated with the counterfeit church of conciliarism have their proximate root cause in the Protestant and Masonic Novus Ordo service and the falsehoods enshrined therein that have robbed most, although not al, Catholics yet attached to its false structures of the basic elements of a functioning sensus Catholicus. It's pretty easy for the University of Notre Dame to honor Caesar Obamus and for the local councils of the Knights of Columbus to hold picnics with Masonic lodges and to support pro-abortion organizations when the head of the counterfeit church of conciliarism esteems the symbols and the "values" of false religions and calls a mosque a "splendid" place of "worship" that is one of the "jewels" "across the face of the earth. Get the First Commandment wrong, my friends, and you will get everything else wrong as a result. Our Lady of Consolation, pray for us.

Please listen to His Excellency Bishop Daniel L. Dolan's excellent sermon of yesterday, the Fourth Sunday after Easter, Parenting with the Zeal of Our Enemies.

A new donations letter will be posted later today.

Accustomed to Apostasy

Most, although certainly not all, Catholics yet attached to the structures of the counterfeit church of conciliarism have grown so accustomed to apostasy that they are incapable of recognizing outrages committed by the conciliar "popes" and the conciliar "bishops" against the honor and glory and majesty of God, including these unspeakably grotesque words of apostasy uttered yesterday, May 9, 2009, by Joseph Ratzinger/Benedict XVI in front of a mosque in Jordan:

Places of worship, like this splendid Al-Hussein Bin Talal mosque named after the revered late King, stand out like jewels across the earth’s surface. From the ancient to the modern, the magnificent to the humble, they all point to the divine, to the Transcendent One, to the Almighty. And through the centuries these sanctuaries have drawn men and women into their sacred space to pause, to pray, to acknowledge the presence of the Almighty, and to recognize that we are all his creatures. (Meeting With Muslim religious leaders, members of the Diplomatic Corps and Rectors of universities in Jordan in front of the mosque al-Hussein bin Talal in Amman)

Who is "worshiped" in the "splendid Al-Hussein Bin Talal mosque"? The devil, that's who. The Al-Hussein Bin Talal mosque" stands out like a "jewel" "across the earth's surface"? If Joseph Ratzinger had never said or done anything contrary to the Catholic Faith in his life at any point prior to this, which we know, of course, is not the case (see Ratzinger's War Against Catholicism), this act of apostasy alone would be enough to cause him to fall from the Faith. Joseph Ratzinger is an apostate. He is possessed of evil as it is only the devil who wants Catholics and non-Catholics alike to believe that a mosque, which is a den of diabolical iniquity, is a true place of "worship" that stands out like a "jewel" "across the earth's surface."

Are you una cum "Benedict XVI," anyone? If you are, his words of apostasy are your words, as Pope Leo the Great made clear in no uncertain terms:

But it is vain for them to adopt the name of catholic, as they do not oppose these blasphemies: they must believe them, if they can listen so patiently to such words. (Pope Saint Leo the Great, Epistle XIV, To Anastasius, Bishop of Thessalonica, St. Leo the Great | Letters 1-59 )

Our Lady of Fatima, pray for us!

I did not expect an article to be posted for today, Sunday, May 10, 2009, the Fourth Sunday after Easter and the Commemoration of Saint Antoninus, O.P., and Saints Gordian and Epimachus. The apostasy uttered yesterday by Ratzinger/Benedict is what prompted this article. Developments today may prompt yet another one to be posted tomorrow. And while we pray that no harm comes to the false "pontiff" in the midst of possible threats to his life in Israel from Talmudic ultra-nationalists, we must nevertheless recognize him as a enemy of the Catholic Faith who truly has no understanding as to Who God is and how He hates each an every false religion and wants them and their temples of false worship by the unconditional conversion of their adherents to the true Faith. Joseph Ratzinger can't possible know Who God is and make a statement calling a mosque a "jewel" that "stands out on the face of this earth."

May God have mercy on us all if we have grown accustomed to such apostasy for any reason whatsoever!

Archbishop Who?

The late Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre condemned Karol Wojtyla/John Paul II for parading into a synagogue and engaging in inter-religious "prayer" services and esteeming the "values" of false religions. What are his successors in the Society of Saint Pius X doing now? Making excuses for Joseph Ratzinger/Benedict XVI doing the exact same thing as Wojtyla/John Paul II. Archbishop Who?

This is a relatively brief article. I did want to return to substantive writing after devoting the past five days to the two travelogues. The next article on this site should appear on Monday, May 11, 2009. I will have a revised donations letter posted by then as well.

Once again, good night!

Penance is Better Than Ever in 2009, part 3

As it is nearly 2:40 a.m. on Friday, May 8, 2009, the Feast of the Apparition of Saint Michael the Archangel, all I have the energy to write is that this is the conclusion of the current installment of the travelogues. A substantive article (not that there's no substance in these travelogues, mind you) will be posted tomorrow, May 9, 2009, the Feast of Our Lady of Consolation.

Here are the photographic essays to accompany Penance is Better Than Ever in 2009, part 2 and  Penance is Better Than Ever in 2009, part 3: As The Travels Come To An End, part 1, and As The Travels Come To An End. part 2.

I have utterly no idea how long this travelogue is insofar as pagination is concerned. I do know, however, that the narrative has had to end on Palm Sunday, April 5, 2009, as there is just too much more to write and no energy at this early hour on the Octave Day of the Solemnity of Saint Joseph in Paschaltide to complete the writing. For the few people who bother to read these travelogues, therefore, the "thrilling" climax to our long years of life on the road must await the posting of the next installment, which might be as early as tomorrow, May 7, 2009, the Feast of Saint Stanislaus. Although there are a few photographs posted in the body of this particular article, a photographic essay will be posted when part three of this year's travelogue is written and then posted in its own right.  Saint Joseph, pray for us. Saint John the Evangelist, pray for us.

Although we are, as I will explain more fully in part 3 of the travelogue, settled in one place finally, we are always in need of non-tax-deductible gifts to pay our bills. An anonymous donor has made possible the payment of our bills for this month. Those funds will expended on our fixed expenses. We are, of course, always in need of your non-tax-deductible financial gifts. As I am falling asleep as this is being written, I think that it is prudent to call it a night. A lot of work goes into these travelogues. I simply need a bit of rest so as to be able to focus on the next installment tomorrow.

May 5 Update

The hour is now around 1:25 a.m., Eastern time, on the Feast of Pope Saint Pius V, the great Dominican pope of the Rosary who gave us the highest expression of the Immemorial Mass of Tradition in the Missale Romanum that bears his name and that is hated to this day by most of the conciliar revolutionaries. Pope Saint Pius V's call to Catholics to pray Our Lady's Most Holy Rosary resulted in the defeat of the Turkish forces in the Battle of Lepanto on October 7, 1571, by the heavily outnumbered combined Christian fleet. This is quite a contrast with Joseph Ratzinger/Benedict XVI, who will stand outside of a mosque (he will, it appears, not enter one this time around as he did in Istanbul, Turkey, on November 30, 2006) to extol the "virtues" of "coexistence," "religious liberty" and "tolerance" in an inter-religious ceremony in Jordan. Can anyone imagine Pope Saint Pius V sanctioning such a travesty? Pope Saint Pius V, pray for us!

The next article on this site is well into development. Yes, the next article is indeed the next installment in the travelogue. These articles are always the most difficult and time-consuming to write. I have another eight to ten hours of work, as I judge the matter right now, to do on the article before it is completed. I must beg your indulgence as this work continues, asking you to check back late this evening or tomorrow morning for the finished product and its accompanying photographic essay. As our travels will be substantially reduced from now on, this may be the last travelogue of its sort on this site. Just check back late tonight to see what progress has been made in getting it completed.

It is now time to get some sleep.

Suiting Disorder Quite Consistently

Another late hour after a long two days of manual labor, which came with quite a glorious penitential price (penance is indeed better than ever in 2009). The lateness of the hour and the nature of the ongoing penance requires me once again to invite you to read this article, which deals with the delusional worlds in which those who subscribe to the mythologies of conciliarism and of naturalism in the political realm must live in order to sustain themselves on a daily basis.

Keep checking for the next new article on this site. I hope to be able to produce at least four new articles a week for the foreseeable future, God willing and Our Lady interceding.

Urbanely Accepting Evil

Before we immerse ourselves in some travel associated with a good deal of manual labor (details in the next travelogue) that will keep new articles from being posted until at least Monday, May 4, 2009, I did delay the assumption of the "horizontal position" in the motor home's sofa bed to write this article, which deals with an editorial in L'Osservatore Romano, the semi-official newspaper of the Vatican, that said, in effect, that the first one hundred days of the administration of Caesar Obamus have not been as "bad" as expected. Only those who have come to accept the grievous sins committed against the First Commandment by the conciliar "pontiffs" can come to the absurd conclusion that the presidency of the completely pro-abortion, Marxist-trained statist and globalist, Barack Hussein Obama, has been not as "radical" as expected. Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, have mercy on us! Our Lady of Fatima, pray for us. Saints Philip and James, pray for us.

Please pray for us in the next few days!

Blame George Walker Bush

Want to know why Arlen Specter is still in the United States Senate? Blame George Walker Bush. Want to know why? Read this article.

Yes, the hour is late once again, which is the reason for the very short descriptions that have appeared for most of my recent articles.

Work will continue on the next travelogue, which will appear, after a bit of travel and work in the next few days, in due course on this site.

A blessed Feast of Saint Catherine of Siena, especially to members of the Order of Preachers of Saint Dominic de Guzman.

Why Live in Fear With Saint Joseph So Near?

Today is the Solemnity of Saint Joseph in Paschaltide. This brief article is a reminder to those who reader this site that our dear Saint Joseph did not live in fear even in the midst of his greatest sorrows. We must not live in fear in our own lives today. Indeed, why live in fear with Saint Joseph so near? Saint Joseph, Patron of the Universal Church and Protector of the Faithful, pray for us.

There might be another new article posted by tomorrow.

Please listen to His Excellency Bishop Daniel L. Dolan's sermon, delivered on Good Shepherd Sunday, the Second Sunday after Easter, April 26, 2009, on The Green Scapular. Our Lady has given us this sacramental to convert and to save souls. We should make good use of it for everyone God's Holy Providence puts in our paths on a daily basis.

Refusing Communion With Apostasy

"Bishop" Michael Jarrell of the Diocese of Lafayette,Louisiana, has issued a "notification" about two sedevacantist chapels, Christ the King Church in Lafayette and Our Lady of the Rosary Chapel in Shuteston. This article, which goes over territory quite familiar to longtime readers of this site but might not be familiar to those in the Lafayette area who are accessing this site for the first time, is a reminder that the counterfeit church of conciliarism is false and that its officials have expelled themselves from the Catholic Church by virtue of believing and and publicly professing propositions that have been condemned, repeatedly and consistently, by the authority of the Catholic Church prior to the death of Pope Pius XII on October 9, 1958.

We Must Tread the Path of the Saints

As we know a number of families being torn apart at present by the pull of the world, I have put together a brief article, drawing on a lot of material used in previous articles that readers may not have "bookmarked," to provide some words of eternal wisdom from the apostle of Eternal Wisdom and of Our Lady's Most Holy Rosary and Total Marian Consecration, Saint Louis Marie Grignion de Montfort.

Off to Holy Mass.

There should be another article tomorrow on the Solemnity of Saint Joseph in Paschaltide.

April 25 Article

Silence

This is yet another instance of your having to read this article without any real description on this home page. Once again, please go to the article, which deals with the apostasy of Robert Zollitsch and the way in which the same conciliar "bishops" who denounced Bishop Richard Williamson so forcefully on a matter of secular history have been utterly silent, at least thus far (going on two weeks now), about "Archbishop" Robert Zollitsch's denial that Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ died for our sins.

One of those "bishops" is Joseph Ratzinger/Benedict XVI. Yes, he may well address the matter of Zollitsch's apostasy. It must be remembered, however, that it did not take Ratzinger/Benedict more than seven days to respond to the criticism he received from members of Talmudic groups for his having "lifted" the "excommunication" of a "Holocaust-denier." Avenging God's greater honor and glory and majesty, I suppose, takes a bit more time in light of the exigencies of the conciliar falsehood known as "episcopal collegiality."

Enough. I am very tired! All to thee, Blessed Mother. All to thy Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart. Jesus, Mary and Joseph, we love you. Save souls!

Don't expect another article for three to four days. I am still not over whatever illness has been sent to me so that I can help to make reparation for my many sins. The writing of the past five days necessitates a brief break. Please keep checking, however. Thank you for your patience.

Bookended From Birth to Birth

As promised five days ago now, I am posting a tribute to the late Father Vincent Bowes, O.C.D., whose name in religious life was Father Vincent Joachim of the Holy Family. This article has gone through a bit of vetting and revision prior to yesterday, the Feast of Saint George, undergoing some substantial expansion once I learned the details of Father Bowes's Solemn High Requiem Mass at the friary of the Order of Discalced Carmelites in Brighton, Massachusetts. There might be a few more additions made in the next day or so (as were made to All Hail! Caesar Obamus and They Like It! after their initial postings).

There is a remarkable story to tell about Father Vincent Joachim of the Holy Family. Although the biographical information about Father Bowes contained in this article was provided by his devoted spiritual son, Mr. Robert Letourneau, the gist of this reflection on the of Father Vincent Bowes centers on what he told me at Sacred Heart Church in Lawrence, Massachusetts, on Saturday, June 23, 2007. I have "hinted" at the details of this conversation, details that were shared with a few others as well, including His Excellency Bishop Daniel L. Dolan and Father Anthony Cekada, in various articles in the past twenty-two months. As no earthly repercussions can now befall Father Vincent, who was a devoted son of the Carmel, it is now time after his death to tell publicly what he had told some people privately during his life.

The material in this article will be scoffed at, if not directly ridiculed, by many. The application of the canonical-doctrinal principles of sedevacantism, which even the late Mario Francesco "Cardinal" Pompedda of the conciliar church admitted in 2005 teach us that the See of Peter is vacant in the case of heresy, to the circumstances that prevail at this time does not rise or fall on the basis of private revelations. It is nevertheless true that there are times when chosen souls are given information by Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ and His Most Blessed Mother.

I believe that the late Father Vincent Joachim of the Holy Family, O.C.D., was one of those chosen souls. I believe that he was given information to share with us. Whether people accept or reject what Father Vincent told me on June 23, 2007, is irrelevant. Everyone will know on the Last Day at the General Judgment of the Living and the Dead whether he was indeed favored with messages from Our Lord. I am sure that Father Bowes, who was a humble and dignified priest with a manly bearing, is willing in eternity to have his name calumniated after his death.

Those who understand that the Catholic Church cannot give us the errors of the present day will be fortified and inspired by Father Bowes's story. Those who are at least open to a consideration of the fact that those who defect from the Faith in one thing defect from It in Its entirety and cannot hold ecclesiastical office legitimately in the Catholic Church might be persuaded to pray a bit more about the truth of sedevacantism. Hard-core anti-sedevacantists and outright conciliarists will have a field day of mockery and scorn.

Father Vincent Joachim of the Holy Family gave God His all in life, being an especially fierce foe of false ecumenism. Indeed, Saint Fidelis of Sigmaringen gave up his life at the hands of those wretched Calvinists as he sought to convert them back to the true Faith. Saint Fidelis of Sigmaringen believed in an "ecumenism of the return" that has been completely and categorically rejected by Joseph Ratzinger/Benedict XVI. It simply cannot be that Saint Fidelis and all of the other martyrs who died trying to win Protestants and the Orthodox and Jews and Mohammedans to the true Faith were wrong and Ratzinger/Benedict is correct. Truth is on the side of the martyrs, not the apostates who do not even cry out in anger immediately when one of their "bishops" denies that Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ died on the wood of the Holy Cross in atonement for our sins.

Like Saint Fidelis of Sigmaringen, Father Vincent Bowes,  was faithful to the end. Although we do not presume the judgment of God on Father Vincent's immortal soul and thus pledge to remember him faithfully in our prayers for the dead each day and to have Masses offered for the repose of his priestly soul, it is true that even the Poor Souls in Purgatory can help us even though they cannot help ourselves. Whether in Purgatory or in Heaven, we have gained a valuable intercessor in Father Vincent Bowes, O.C.D., and I am praying to him that at least some of you who read this story about him will be inspired to see the hand of God at work in this priest who was so dedicated to Our Lady's Most Holy Rosary and to her Brown Scapular of Mount Carmel.

Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May his soul and all of the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.

I beg the patience of those of you who have written notes in the past two days. I will respond to each note in the next day or so. I am still very sick and it is all I can do to keep up with my writing by means of God's ineffable graces. Thank you for your patience.

All to thee, Blessed Mother. All to thy Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart. Jesus, Mary and Joseph, we love you. Save souls!

Barabbas Wins Again

Another 1:02 a.m. posting means another very short description, consisting of the simple advice to read the article to learn more about its contents. That's about as brief as I get.

We continue to thank those who have sent their non-tax-deductible financial gifts to us. Those of you who have sent these gifts thus far have been answers to our prayers to Our Lady and her Most Chaste Spouse, Good Saint Joseph. We pray that others of you will join the ranks of those who have given thus far. Thank you.

They Like It!

It is very late (or early). All I will write at this juncture as my powers of concentration fail me and fatigue overtakes me is this: here is a new article. It is brief. Not as brief as this home page introduction. However, it is much briefer than the article published yesterday. Now go read it for yourselves!

April 21 Article

All Hail! Caesar Obamus

This is another article that took much longer to complete than I thought originally would be the case. And thus it is that the hour is after Midnight again.

Suffice it to say that this article deals with efforts on the part of United States Department of Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano (after years of writing about the Clinton administration, I have to stop myself from writing "Reno" after the name "Janet") to intimidate pro-life Americans and others deemed to be concerned about "single issues" by calumniating them as possible sources of "right wing" extremism and "terrorism." This is but another effort by a group of petty naturalists of the leftist/statist bent to impose their agenda of evil while seeking to squelch all opposition.

My focus in this article is principally on the root causes of our current problems, which means that I spend a great deal of time reviewing the simple truth that the problems we face today are, proximately speaking, the result of the inexorable forces let loose in the world following the overthrow of the Social Reign of Christ the King that was wrought by the Protestant Revolt and cemented in places by the multifaceted forces of naturalism, including those of "Enlightenment liberalism" and, of course, the anti-Incarnational biases of Judeo-Masonry. Once again--and repeat after me--Catholicism is the one and only foundation of personal and social order. (This is a very long article.)

There should be another new article tomorrow, April 22, 2009. Keep checking.

Late April 19 Update

Word reached me early this morning that Father Vincent Bowes, O.C.D., died today, Low Sunday. I was privileged to meet Father Bowes on Saturday, June 23, 2007. A tribute to this priest will be posted in a few days.

Suffice it to say for now that Father Bowes was a faithful son of Holy Mother Church. Born on Christmas Day in 1920 in Jordan, New York, he entered the Order of Discalced Carmelites on September 25, 1947, following his service in the United States Army during World War II. He was ordained to the Holy Priesthood on June 3, 1961, after a protracted illness delayed his ordination.

Please join me in having Masses said and in offering prayers for the repose of the immortal soul of the late Father Vincent Bowes, O.C.D. Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May his soul and all of the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.

As I am spending some time this evening working on my tribute to Father Bowes, the article on Janet Napolitano's "terrorist watch" list might not be posted until later tomorrow, Monday, April 20, 2009. Thank you.

Ashamed of the NAME Above All Other Names

Under siege by means of demonic noise (considered "music" by its listeners) at a campground to which we had taken refuge following frightful encounters with Tartars at another campground, this precis is going to be very short. I need to move my family out of this campground NOW! All to thee, Blessed Mother. All to thy Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart. Jesus, Mary and Joseph, we love you. Save souls!

This article deals with the scandal caused by the covering up of the monogram IHS by the officials of Georgetown University to placate the demands made for the agents, lackeys and gofers of Caesar Obamus. It is quite a telling commentary that these conciliar officials had no objections to doing what millions of martyrs gave up their lives to avoid doing, that is, of denying Christ and His doctrine before men. Then again, the conciliar "popes" have done plenty to deny Christ and His doctrine before men. The officials of Georgetown University are only acting in accord with the blasphemous, apostate spirit of conciliarism.

I am proposing that we make an act of reparation for this outrage against the Holy Name of Jesus by praying the Litany of the Holy Name of Jesus and the Divine Praises for nine days.

Finally, I want to thank those of you who have responded thus far to our urgent fund-raising appeal letter. We have received some very generous non-tax-deductible gifts. Although I have sent notes to each person who has made these donations to us, I want to acknowledge this generosity publicly and to assure each of you of our most fervent prayers of thanksgiving for your generosity and petition for your needs, both spiritual and temporal. Sharon and Lucy join me in thanking you! Sincerely yours in Christ the King and Mary our Immaculate Queen,

Thomas A. Droleskey.

There will be another article tomorrow or on Monday, depending upon where we can find refuge for this evening.

Making Everyone Happy Except God

It is very late (or very early). This article is about the new conciliar "archbishop" of New York, Timothy M. Dolan, who has written:

I aim to be a happy bishop, sharing joys and laughs with you. So you will see me at the St. Patrick's parade, and at the new Yankee Stadium, and at processions and feast days and barbecues across our almost 400 parishes. (New Archbishop talks to News)

A look at "Archbishop" Dolan's words and actions will indicate that he aims to make everyone happy except the true God, Who has revealed Himself to us exclusively through the Catholic Church without a shadow of change or innovation. Just another conciliarist, one who invoked "Lady Liberty" in his "installation" sermon without mentioning Our Lady. Just another conciliarist.

The next article will deal with Department of Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano's "watch" list. I will try to get that article completed for posting by tomorrow morning, Easter Saturday. Stay tuned.

I thank those of you who have responded to the new Donations letter. We hope that many others will read the letter and respond with non-tax-deductible gifts.

April 16 Update and Urgent Appeal

Looking for a new article? Well, still suffering from that illness that won't quit, I lacked sufficient energy to complete the article that will appear tomorrow, Easter Friday. There should be two more after that in upcoming days.

For the present, however, I have had to update with great urgency our Donations letter as we are nearly broke.

We have been keeping our financial heads above water, albeit barely, in recent months. We are about to go under the water real soon.

Obviously, we trust totally in God's Providence. We pray fervently for the maternal intercession of Our Lady and the patronage her Most Chaste Spouse, Good Saint Joseph. We do need your assistance most urgently at this time, and ask those of you who support the work of this site and have the means to be of assistance to make non-tax-deductible financial gifts as soon as possible.

Thank you! Sincerely yours in Christ the King and Mary our Immaculate Queen, Thomas A. Droleskey.

Piracy, Conciliar Style

William "Cardinal" Levada, the prefect of the conciliar Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith that has pirated the perennial teaching of the Catholic Church in order to replace it with the precepts of Modernism and its step-child, the New Theology, has made it clear in a forty-five minute interview with Time magazine that e is going go over the so-called Catechism of the Catholic Church with the "acceptable" bishops of the Society of Saint Pius X to determine if they adhere to the conciliar ethos completely. Such an exercise should be very interesting as a Society of Saint Pius X website contains (at least as of yesterday!) a withering critique of the conciliar "catechism" that closed with the following assessment:

The Catechism of the Catholic Church is a non-Catholic Catechism, that of "a religion more universal than the Catholic Church, reuniting all men finally become brethren and comrades in ‘the Kingdom of God.’ One does not work for the Church, one works for humanity."  (The New Catechism: Is it Catholic?)

As I pointed out in Nothing to Negotiate nearly three months ago now, the Catholic Faith is not a subject for debate or negotiations. We accept the Faith in Its entirety or we do not. The counterfeit church of conciliarism is not the Catholic Church and there is thus no need to "negotiate" with its pirates. It is absurd and patently erroneous to contend that it is "necessary" to "convert" a true pope.

Pope Saint Pius X, pray for us.

There might be another original article tomorrow, Easter Thursday, April 16, 2009. Keep checking.

Please, good readers, we do need non-tax-deductible Donations to stay afloat! Thank you.

April 14 Article

So Long to the Fifth Commandment

Yesterday's article dealt with the incongruity of the well-meaning Catholics in the conciliar structures who are opposing the Marxist-trained, pro-abortion Barack Hussein Obama's being awarded an honorary doctorate by the University of Notre Dame as is accorded an opportunity to speak to the university's graduating classes on May 17, 2009. The incongruity is caused, of course, by the fact that the conciliar "popes" have bestowed "papal" knighthood and medals on completely pro-abortion adherents of the Talmud. How can the administrators of the University of Notre Dame be criticized for doing what the conciliar "popes" have done?

Unfortunately, however, the situation is really even worse than I pointed out yesterday. The President of the "Pontifical" Academy for Life, "Archbishop" Rino Fisichella, has written in L'Osservatore Romano, the semi-official newspaper of the Vatican that a Brazilian "archbishop" was wrong to have excommunicated physicians who killed the preborn twins of a nine year old girl who had been the victim of an assault, stating the matter was "complicated." What's complicated about the Fifth Commandment's binding prohibition against the direct, intentional taking of any innocent human life at any time for any reason?

It is worse than this, however, as Dr. Marian Therese Horvat, a sedeplenist, noted in a very thorough report on the Tradition in Action website:

Veteran Vatican reporter Sandro Magister reported the following news regarding the thinking of Benedict XVI on the matter. On March 21, the director of the Holy See press office, Fr. Federico Lombardi, clearly stated that Benedict XVI's few lines against abortion on his recent trip to Cameroon and Angola had nothing to do with the case of the Brazilian girl. (6)

“Regarding this case,” Lombardi affirmed, “the considerations of Archbishop Rino Fisichella apply when he lamented in L'Osservatore Romano the hasty declaration of excommunication by the Archbishop of Recife. No extreme case should obscure the true meaning of the remarks by the Holy Father, who was referring to something very different. [...] The pope absolutely was not talking about therapeutic abortion, and did not say that this must always be rejected." (7)

With this statement it would seem the word from Rome has been given. In the question of excommunications, they are absolutely no longer allowed. In the matter of abortion, we have a virtual approval of "therapeutic abortion."  (The Holy See Abandons its Pro-Life Position.)

No true pope of the Catholic Church would have in his employ a spokesman who would make it appear that he, the true pope, approved of "therapeutic abortion" for any reason at any time.

Although it took me long enough to recognize the simple truth that the Catholic Church cannot be responsible for any of this apostasy, it is my own hope and pray that those of you who read this site and are still "undecided" about the apostasies of conciliarism will come to recognize that the conciliar church is false and that its officials are enemies of Christ the King and thus of the souls for whom He gave up His very life on the wood of the Holy Cross so that we could have eternal life with Him in Heaven for all eternity.

Finally, please listen to the following marvelous sermons delivered by His Excellency Bishop Daniel L. Dolan recently: The Donkey’s Humility, He Takes the Last Place (Maundy Thursday), Let There Be Light (Holy Saturday), Who Do You Belong To?” (Easter Sunday) . Each of the Holy Week ceremonies at Saint Gertrude Great Church was truly glorious. As a friend of ours who visited from Rhode Island commented after the Easter Vigil on Saturday, April 11, 2009, "God deserves this!" He certainly does! We were humbled to be privileged to be present for these glories given to God at Saint Gertrude the Great Church.

There might be another original article tomorrow, April 15, 2009, Easter Wednesday.

Honors Aplenty for Devils Galore

Why should it surprise us that the administrators of the University of Notre Dame du Lac in Notre Dame, Indiana, are going to give an honorary doctorate to the Marxist-trained, pro-abortion President of the United States of America, Barack Hussein Obama, on May 17, 2009? The conciliar "popes" have "knighted" one pro-abortion Talmudic after another, haven't they? That Barack Hussein Obama is being honored by the University of Notre Dame du Lac is, after all, simply par for the conciliar course. What is truly sad that many well-meaning Catholics yet attached to the structures of the counterfeit church of conciliarism do not see the incongruity of opposing Obama's being awarded at the University of Notre Dame du Lac while like-minded men have given some of the highest honors by the conciliar "popes."

The Catholic Church does not honor men who promote evils under cover of the civil law. The counterfeit church of conciliarism does honor such men.

Check back tomorrow for the next original article on this site. Although I am not entirely over the illness that has been plaguing now for over five weeks, I will endeavor to cooperate with the graces sent to me by Our Lady to continue the work on this site for the honor and glory of the Mos Blessed Trinity. Just keep checking for original articles (and we are always in need of Donations).

A continued blessed Easter to you all.

Easter Sunday Reflection

Revised: Resurrexi et Adhuc Tecum Sum, Alleluia

Alleluia! He is Risen! Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ has made manifest His Easter Victory over sin and eternal death. "O death, where is Thy victory. O death, where is thy sting?"

We shall all indeed rise again: but we shall not all be changed. In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall rise again incorruptible: and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption; and this mortal must put on immortality. And when this mortal hath put on immortality, then shall come to pass the saying that is written: Death is swallowed up in victory. O death, where is thy victory? O death, where is thy sting?

Now the sting of death is sin: and the power of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, who hath given us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye steadfast and unmoveable; always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labour is not in vain in the Lord. (1 Cor. 15: 51-58)

Our Lord made His Easter Victory over sin and eternal death manifest first to His Most Blessed Mother, who stood so valiantly at the foot of His Most Holy Cross as she cooperated completely in His Redemptive Act, bringing us forth as the spiritual sons and daughters of the living God in great pain by means of adoption. W need to rely on the help of Our Lady as the consecrated slaves of Her Divine Son through her own Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart so that we may persevere in a state of Sanctifying Grace with perfect contrition for our sins until the moments of our deaths so that our bodies and souls will be resurrected on the Last Day at the General Judgment of the Living and the Dead and counted among those destined for the enjoyment of an unending Easter Sunday of glory in Paradise.

Nothing else matters if we save our souls by cooperating with the graces won for us by the shedding of every single drop of Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ's Most Precious Blood on the wood of the Holy Cross and that flow into our hearts and souls through the loving hands of Our Lady, she who is the Mediatrix of All Graces. Nothing else matters if we fail to soul our souls.

This glorious day of Easter rejoicing is meant to be but a foretaste of Heaven. Let us live as redeemed creatures as we reject the naturalism of Modernity and the Modernism of the soul-killing agents of the counterfeit church of conciliarism. This is the day the Lord has made. Let us rejoice and be glad!

In your charity, good readers, I ask your prayers for the repose of the soul of Mrs. Regina Klara Derksen, the grandmother of the esteemed Catholic writer Mario Derksen. Mrs. Derksen died at the age of eighty-one yesterday, Holy Saturday, in her native Germany. We offer our condolences to the Derksen family here and in Germany as we pray for the repose of Mrs. Regina Klara Derksen's immortal soul. Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May her soul and all of the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.

There should be a new article on this site tomorrow, Easter Monday. It won't be next chapter in the travelogue. That will come soon.

On behalf of my wife Sharon and daughter Lucy Mary Therese Norma, I extend to our readers our most fervent prayers for a blessed and glorious Easter Day, Easter Octave and Easter Season.

We do, of course, want to extend a particular note of greeting to those of you who have been so generous to us by means of offering to us non-tax-deductible financial gifts. Some of these gifts are truly sacrificial in nature. We are most appreciative of each gift we receive and remember our benefactors every day in our prayers, especially in the Memento for the Living in the Canon of the Mass, during our family Rosary and in our nightly Novena to Saint John Bosco.

Although it goes without saying, I do think it worth repeating once again that we do pray for those of you who do not support the work of this site, especially those who have withdrawn their support for various reasons over the years. We appreciate the generosity of those who used to support us with their non-tax-deductible gifts and assure them of our prayers every day, which are never contingent on support of any kind.

A blessed Easter to you all!

Holy Saturday Reflection

Revised: A Day of Anticipation After A Night of Waiting

Silence filled the earth in the forty hours between the death of Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ on the wood of the Holy Cross yesterday, Good Friday, and His glorious Resurrection at dawn on Easter Sunday. Silence filled the earth as the God-Man went down into Limbo to announce the news of His Redemptive Act to the souls of the just who had awaited His Coming and His Sacrifice in atonement for the sins of all men from the beginning until the end of time.

Given the state of the Church Militant on earth during this time of papal vacancy, some Catholics, including ourselves, will be anticipating Our Lord's Resurrection this morning during the Easter Vigil. Those of you who have to wait until this evening for the Vigil Mass can watch the unreformed Easter Vigil as it offered at Saint Gertrude the Great Church's Live Mass Simulcasts starting at 8:00 a.m., Eastern Daylight Saving Time. No matter when the Easter Vigil is offered, however, we spend the first hours of this day (from Midnight until the Easter Vigil) continuing our prayers of gratitude as we mourn the death of Our Divine Redeemer by means of our sins.

Christ the King is the Light of the World. It is His light that is symbolized by the Easter fire that is lit at the beginning of the Easter Vigil. The Light of Christ breaks through the darkness of sin and eternal death, leading us by the fire of His bright, burning love as we continue our desert journey of life to the Promised Land of the New and Eternal Canaan made possible by His immolation on the wood of the Holy Cross yesterday, Good Friday. We must follow the Light of Christ  as He, the New Moses, leads us as the first Moses led the Hebrew people as he followed a column of cloud during the day and a column of fire during the night, as we reminded once again during the Prophecies that are read during the Easter Vigil.

The Light of Christ, Our Crucified and Resurrected Saviour, will penetrate the souls of those who are baptized today and of those who are confirmed. It will penetrate the souls of those of us who were unable to receive Him in Holy Communion yesterday at the Mass of the Presanctified. It will penetrate the souls of those who are regenerated once again in the Sacred Tribunal of Penance. The Light of Christ that is symbolized by the Paschal Candle is meant to permeate every aspect of our lives without any exception at any time for any reason.

The Light of Christ has indeed broken through the darkness of sin and eternal death. Our Lord is making manifest His Easter Victory over the power of sin and eternal death. A fifty day period of glorious celebration is about to break upon us. Although the Easter Vigil is a long ceremony, eternity is forever. We can certainly spend five hours basking in the glories of the Sacred Liturgy that are, after all, a foretaste of eternal glories, can we not? The rewards are truly Heavenly, rewards that we could not have unless the Co-Eternal and Co-Equal Son obeyed His Heavenly Father out of love for him and out of love for us so that we could have access to the treasures of His Most Sacred Heart here through the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

It is still too early to use the forbidden "A------a" word that we have not heard since Septuagesima Sunday. However, it is not too early to look forward to its use in the Easter Exsultet during the Easter Vigil.

A blessed Holy Saturday to you.

Good Friday Reflection

Revised: The Most Solemn Day of the Year (2009)

This is the day that our sins transcended time and played their significant parts in putting God to death. The greatest crime in the history of the world was committed this day, Deicide, and we were among the guilty parties putting God on trial and then subjecting Him to horrible and painful humiliations and scourgings before we nailed Him to the wood of the Holy Cross, upon which He paid back to His Co-Equal and Co-Eternal Father the debt of our sins.

Yes, there is no greater crime than Deicide. There is also no greater act of love in all of human history as Love Incarnate took upon Himself the guilt of our sins though He was guilty of nothing. It was out of love for His Co-Equal and Co-Eternal Father's Holy Will and His matchless love for us that He, Who had instituted the Priesthood and the Eucharist last evening at the Last Supper, that He subjected Himself to the hands of us sinful men, even going so far as to make excuses for us, His executioners, as He hung on the gibbet of the Holy Cross.

This great act of sacrificial, redemptive love of the God-Man, Who had become Incarnate in His Most Blessed Mother's Virginal and Immaculate Womb by the power of God the Holy Ghost, is re-presented in an unbloody manner on altars of Sacrifice by true bishops and true priests every day of the year except for today, Good Friday. Our focus today is on mourning for our sins and expressing our gratitude that we have been redeemed by the shedding of every single drop of the Most Precious Blood of Our Divine Redeemer, Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ as we ask Our Lady to help us to grow in a greater fervor for the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass as we grow more and more detached from even our Venial Sins and come to despise them as much as we despise any Mortal Sins that, God forbid, we may have committed.

This is a day of solemnity and sobriety, a day of total withdrawal from the world and its madness. We spend our time in church today as we keep Our Lord company at the Altar of Repose prior to noon and as we participate in the Mass of the Presanctified. Our sins put God to death. We helped to murder God in the very Flesh.

How does God repay us ungrateful and frequently lukewarm sinners? He gives us the true Church, born out of the Blood and Water that flowed forth from His wounded side when It was pierced by Saint Longinus's lance, making possible our regeneration in the Baptismal font and in the Sacred Tribunal of Penance, making it possible for us therefore to receive His very Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity in the Most Blessed Sacrament in Holy Communion. And he give us His Blessed Mother, she who is our Co-Redemptrix, our Mediatrix and our Advocate, to be our Blessed Mother as He entrusts her to Saint John the Evangelist, whose fidelity to Our Lord on this day is meant to foreshadow our own fidelity by means of assisting at daily Mass frequently and of persevering until the point of our dying breaths in states of Sanctifying Grace by remaining a as close to Our Lady as he was.

Will we repay Our Divine Redeemer Who was nailed to the Cross this day with a true effort to amend our lives? Will we repay Our Divine Redeemer Who shed every single drop of His Most Precious Blood this day with a greater effort to take seriously our consecration to His Most Sacred Heart through the Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary? Will we seek to live at all times in light of First and Last Things as we bear our own crosses with love and joy and gratitude?

Our Lady stands ready to help us to bring us to Calvary every day. Sure, we must make the same kind of effort as Saint Helena made to find the site of the True Cross in the Fourth Century as the Mass has indeed been taken away by spiritual robber barons. However, Our Lady does indeed stand ready to help us to make whatever sacrifices we need to make to assist exclusively at Masses offered by true bishops and true priests who make no concessions to conciliarism or to the nonexistent legitimacy of its false shepherds who cater to the ancient enemies of the Faith and who promote one falsehood after another.

Will we let Our Lady lead us to these true offerings of Holy Mass so that we can be ready to die at any time and thus to enjoy an unending Easter Sunday of glory in Heaven?

May we give thanks and praise to Our Lord through His Blessed Mother's Immaculate Heart this day for the wondrous mystery of His love that has made possible our eternal salvation.

Maundy Thursday Articles

Revised: Novi et Aeterni Testamenti

Today is Maundy Thursday, the day on which Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ instituted the Holy Priesthood and the Eucharist at the Last Supper for our sanctification and salvation. Although Our Lord would enter deep into His Passion immediately after the completion of the Last Supper as He suffered His Agony in the Garden of Gethsemane, He wonderfully gave us the Holy Priesthood of the New Dispensation as He instituted the New and Eternal Covenant that He would ratify by the shedding of every single drop of His Most Precious Blood on the wood of the Holy Cross tomorrow, Good Friday. We must express our gratitude to Him at all times for giving us the Priesthood so that we can have access on a daily basis to His own Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity in Holy Communion, made present for us on altars of Sacrifice by true bishops and true priests in this time of apostasy and betrayal

This is a day to keep watch with Our Lord in His Real Presence at the Altar of Repose, remembering most importantly to beg Our Lady to make more and more voluntary sacrifices to make reparation to the Most Sacred Heart of her Divine Son through her own Immaculate Heart for our sins and those of the whole world.

Promote Personal Sin, Live in Social Violence

Our Lord suffered His Agony in the Garden of Gethsemane after the Last Supper, sweating droplets of His Most Precious Blood as He contemplated the fact that He would come into contact with the very antithesis of His Sacred Divinity, sin, in His Sacred Humanity. Our Lord has made possible the forgiveness of our sins by His perfect obedience to His Co-Eternal and Co-Equal Father on the wood of the Holy Cross. Most people in the world do not realize this fact, which is why they do not realize that the more that they persist unrepentantly in personal sin will be the more that social violence abounds in the world-at-large. There can be no true peace in a world where men are at war with God by means of sinning against Him wantonly and unrepentantly.

This is but a brief original article meant to reiterate the fact that we must embrace our sufferings with joy and with gratitude as we seek to quit our own sins once and for all as the consecrated slaves of Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ through the Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary.

A blessed Maundy Thursday to you all!

Ever Endeavoring to Make Judas Seem Admirable

Today is Spy Wednesday, Wednesday in Holy Week.

There are some in the counterfeit church of conciliarism who have a special affinity for Judas Iscariot. One such individual is Monsignor Frank Gaeta, who was for many years the conciliar pastor of Saint Brigid's Church in Westbury, Long Island, New York, and has been for the better part of the past decade the conciliar pastor of Saints Cyril and Methodius Church in Deer Park, Long Island New York. "Father Frank," as he likes to style himself, wrote a tract of Lenten reflections in the 1990s that contained a meditation for Tuesday in Holy Week that stated, "Make no mistake about it: Judas Iscariot is in Heaven." "Father Frank" closed his "meditation" with the following perverse invocation, "Saint Judas, pray for us." Yes, "Father Frank," a favorite son of the late revolutionary "bishop" John Raymond McGann, is in perfectly good standing with one of Father Paul Shanley's many clerical enablers, "bishop" William F. Murphy. One can put Judas Iscariot in Heaven and remain in perfectly "good standing" in the structures of the counterfeit church of conciliarism.

Then again, the lords of conciliarism are endeavoring constantly to make Judas Iscariot seem admirable by their apostasies and blasphemies and sacrileges, each of which offends Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ and does grave damage to the souls for whom He shed every single drop of His Most Precious Blood on the wood of the Holy Cross on Good Friday. There is no end, it appears, to multiple ways in which these conciliarists play the role of Judas Iscariot as they falsify the character of Tradition and offer greetings to adherents of false religions, each of which is hated by God, on the occasion of their false "feasts."

To be honest, of course, each of us has, most sadly, played the role of Judas Iscariot in our lives on more occasions than we would like to admit, selling out Our Lord for a figurative thirty pieces of silver by means of Mortal Sins. We have much for which to make reparation to the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus through the Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary.

However, it is one thing to be sorry for our sins and to try to amend our lives in cooperation with the graces won for us on the wood of the Holy Cross and that flow into our hearts through the loving hands of Our Lady, the Mediatrix of All Graces. It is quite another to persist in a betrayal of the Catholic Faith by endorsing one condemned proposition after another and by offending God repeatedly in a false "liturgy," the Novus Ordo, that has made possible the triumph of the spirit of conciliarism in the minds and hearts of so many Catholics as of yet attached to the counterfeit church of conciliarism. As we attempt to make reparation for our sins, we must pray also for the conversion of the Judases in the counterfeit church of conciliarism who do not believe in the God of Revelation, the God Who seeks with urgency the unconditional conversion of all men to the true Church, outside of which there is no salvation and without which there can be no true social order.

There should be another article tomorrow along with my revised Holy Thursday reflection on the Holy Priesthood.

Please make sure to read the schedule for the ceremonies at Saint Gertrude the Great Church this week that is listed at the end of yesterday's announcements below.

April 7 Article

Welcome to the U.S.S.A.

Work on this article began eight days ago. It was interrupted by the completion of Embracing The Faith No Matter the Consequences and by a variety of events, including my continued illness and our long, long trip back to Ohio from Texas. The Louisiana to Ohio leg of the trip began on Saturday in Passion Week, April 4, 2009, and took eighteen hours to complete, ending at 4:45 a.m., Eastern time, on Palm Sunday morning. We were at the High Mass at Saint Gertrude the Great Church at 9:00 a.m. The drive was certainly terrific penance for this terrible sinner, who is in need of--and is very grateful for--all opportunities to make reparation to the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus through the Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary for the sufferings my ins imposed on these twin, matchless Hearts of love during this week of weeks, Holy Week. We were, of course, very grateful to be at Saint Gertrude's for Palm Sunday.

This particular article goes over familiar territory to longtime readers of this site. Nations founded on the false, naturalistic, anti-Incarnational, religiously indifferentist and semi-Pelagian principles of Modernity must degenerate over the course of time into totalitarianism as their citizens are diverted by various bread and circuses. The statists who control the Federal government (and most of the state and local governments) in the United States of America believe that citizens are the "enemies" of the state and that it is necessary to curb speech and thought that puts into doubt their "infallibility." That is, the lords of statism believe that they represent a "true secular church," if you will, outside of which there can no social order and whose creeds must be believed dogmatically lest "dissenters" get in the way of the furtherance of total state control over every aspect of individual and social life.

There is only one antidote to statism: Catholicism, and don't you ever forget it! Although my energy may be sapped, I will continue to defend the Social Reign of Christ the King, Who rode into Jerusalem on the lowly donkey on the first Palm Sunday, until I die or until I am physically unable to do so, whichever may first occur in the Providence of God.

There should be another article or two tomorrow, Spy Wednesday, including my annual reflection on the disciples of Judas Iscariot in the counterfeit church of conciliarism. The travelogue, which is getting longer by the day, should appear on Easter Monday.

I do want to thank those of you who have donated to us via PayPal in the last few weeks. There were also eight (that's right, eight) non-tax-deductible financial gifts waiting for us when we checked the post office box yesterday, the first time in three weeks that the box had been checked. As the bills are relentless and we are just barely keeping our heads above water, we do need assistance from more of you who have the means to offer us non-tax-deductible financial gifts and who agree with and are supportive of the work of this site. Please do so especially if you have not as of yet responded to our Donations letter.

We thank you for your prayers. Be assured of ours.

Finally, I do want to pass along this information that Father Anthony Cekada sent along to his e-mail list earlier today. Those of you who can't get to Saint Gertrude the Great Church (or whose Maundy Thursday and Easter Vigil Masses are in the evening) ought to participate in the glories given to God at Saint Gertrude the Great Church during the Paschal Triduum via live simulcasting:

Holy Week Articles

As we are in the midst of a long, long drive from the Houston, Texas, area, back to West Chester, Ohio, for Mass on Palm Sunday, the next original article on this site won't appear until Tuesday of Holy Week, assuming, that is, that it is God's Holy Will for us to survive the remaining 940 miles of our travels.

With so many things having happened to us lately ("All to thee, Blessed Mother, all to thy Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart; Jesus, Mary and Joseph, we love you, save souls!"), I thought it prudent to re-highlight the Holy Week articles from last year just in case we wind up stranded or I am incapacitated by the virus that has lasted for about a month now and is still weakening me considerably.

Here, therefore, are the articles for Holy Week that I wish to re-highlight before getting a few hours of sleep here in Louisiana:

From Eden to the Empty Tomb, written for the printed pages of Christ or Chaos in 1997 and revised a bit over the years, is a review of salvation history from Special Creation to Palm Sunday (I've broken up the reflections on the Paschal Triduum and elaborated on these over the years):

Novi et Aeterni Testamenti, a reflection for Maundy Thursday

Enter the Passion, a reflection written last year for the night of Holy Thursday and the early morning hours of Good Friday.

The Most Solemn Day of the Year (2009), a revised version of a Good Friday reflection that I wrote in 2004.

I will wait to post the articles for Holy Saturday and Easter Sunday.

Once again, I should have a new article posted on Tuesday in Holy Week. Thanks for your patience. Please pray for our safe travels. It's been a most eventful Lent. We are grateful, truly grateful, for each of the crosses sent our way by Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Lift high the Cross! It is the path to our salvation.

April 3 Revised Article

Revised: Our Mother of Sorrows, 2009

Unfathomable. Just unfathomable

Only a handful of genuine mystics and truly gifted spiritual masters have been able to comprehend the unfathomable mysteries of grief that overwhelmed the fairest creature of our race, Our Lady, as those Seven Swords of Sorrow were plunged through and through her Immaculate Heart.

We sin so casually, so thoughtlessly, so repeatedly, rarely giving a moment's worth of a meditation to how our least Venial Sins caused Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ to suffer unspeakable horrors during His Passion and Death, horrors that penetrated the Immaculate Heart of His Most Blessed Mother as she, conceived without any stain of Original or Actual Sin, suffered in a perfect communion of Hearts with Him.

It cannot be that way with us from this day forward. We are on the cusp of Holy Week, ending now the first week in Passiontide, Passion Week. We must enter deep into the mysteries of our salvation, which was wrought for us by the perfect obedience of the Word made Flesh in Our Lady's Virginal and Immaculate Womb to the Will of His Co-Equal and Co-Eternal Father. We must quit our sins once and for all, recognizing how they caused the God-Man and His Most Blessed Mother to suffer, how they wound our own souls, which have been purchased by the shedding of every single drop of the Divine Redeemer's Most Precious Blood, and how they have brought great sorrow into the Heart out of which was formed Our Redeemer's Most Sacred Heart. No more sin. No more joking about sin. No more dismissiveness about the gravity of sin. We must repent and amend our lives as the consecrated slaves of Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ through the Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary.

Our Lady brought forth her Divine Son painlessly and miraculously. She brought us forth in great pain as the adopted children of the Living God as she stood so valiantly by the foot of the Cross on Good Friday. She stands by the foot of her Divine Son's Most Holy Cross in every true offering of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass by a true bishop or a true priest. We must stand by her each day at Holy Mass as we make reparation for our sins and those of the whole world with every beat of our hearts, making sure as well to pray as many Rosaries each day as our states-in-life permit.

This slightly revised article includes seven poignant excerpts from the late Father Frederick Faber's The Foot of the Cross/The Dolors of Mary.

Our Lady of Sorrows, pray for us.

I will try to have one or two new articles early during Holy Week before reprising annual reflections on the events of this week of weeks. As we have encountered incredible adventures in the past few days (our TrailBlazer was returned, albeit momentarily, to us on Wednesday with more problems than when it was towed into a repair shop after our hitting a deer on Friday, March 20, 2009, delaying our departure from Texas until this coming evening), those new articles have been on hold for a few days. The travelogue will be written during Holy Week but will not be published until Easter Monday.

A man identifying himself as a "bishop," using only his first name without any other identification, wrote to me after reading the home page description of Embracing The Faith No Matter the Consequences to ask how Father Michael Oswalt is not "guilty" of the "private judgment" of Protestantism by acting as he did.

This is how I responded to him:

Your Excellency,

Thank your for your note. I do not know your last name or the See, most likely of the Eastern rites, to which you belong.

The Virtue of Faith requires us to recognize error. The authority of the Catholic Church cannot contradict anything that has been taught in the past. It is that simple.

Protestants reject the Social Kingship of Jesus Christ. So does Joseph Ratzinger.

Protestants endorse the separation of Church and State that has been condemned by the authority of the Catholic Church. So does Joseph Ratzinger.

Protestants endorse the heresy (termed as such by Pope Pius VII) of religious liberty. So does Joseph Ratzinger.

Protestants reject the official philosophy of the Catholic Church, Scholasticism. So does Joseph Ratzinger.

Protestants reject the "ecumenism of the return" that requires them to convert unconditionally to the Catholic Faith. So does Joseph Ratzinger, making a mockery of the teaching of Pope Pius IX and Pope Leo XIII and Pope Pius XI (meaning that truth is contingent upon a particular pope, a preposterous proposition that is in and of itself a reject of the infallibility of the Church's Ordinary Magisterium), also making a mockery of the martyrdom of Saint Fidelis of Sigmaringen, the Martyrs of Gorkhum and Saint Josaphat, among others, who were killed trying to bring non-Catholics back into the Church.

Joseph Ratzinger endorses concepts of dogmatic truth that have been condemned solemnly by the authority of the Catholic Church and critiqued (and condemned) by Pope Saint Pius X in Pascendi Dominici Gregis.

Joseph Ratzinger esteems the symbols of false religions, offending God and blaspheming the martyrdom of millions of Catholics who preferred death rather than to even give the appearance of giving credibility to any false religion, each of which is hated by God.

We use our sensus Catholicus to know right from wrong morally. We use our sensus Catholicus to know right from wrong doctrinally. This is Catholicism, not Protestantism.

Saint Basil, for example, separated himself from his bishop when he, Basil, was a lector, because he judged his bishop to be an Arian. Was Saint Basil guilty of Protestantism?

When Antichrist comes, Bishop, how are you going to recognize and reject him if you do not use your Catholic reason to compare what he teaches with the perennial, immutable truths of the Catholic Faith?

I will forward to you an article (Vatican II, the Pope and SSPX: Q & A) by Bishop Donald Sanborn on the simple fact that many theologians have written on the possibility of a heretical "pope," meaning that such is a possibility and that we use our Catholic reason to recognize the situation.

Joseph Ratzinger expelled himself from the Catholic Church decades ago by adhering to principles that have been condemned by her magisterial authority. To defect from the Faith in one thing is to defect from It in Its entirety, as Pope Leo XIII taught in Satis Cognitum.

I have listed the numerous ways in which Ratzinger defects from the Faith in many articles. Please review the contradictions (summarized in a link in my article about Father Oswalt) and explain to me the precedent in the history of the Catholic Church for such contradictions.

With prayers in Christ the King and Mary our Immaculate Queen,

Thomas A. Droleskey, Ph.D.
Publisher-Editor, www.Christorchaos.com

This excerpt from Bishop Sanborn's Vatican II, the Pope and SSPX: Q & A was sent to the bishop in a separate e-mail:

But on the other hand, as Catholics, we have the obligation of comparing what is taught by Vatican I I with the teaching of the Catholic Church. The virtue of faith demands that we do so, since the faith is supernatural wisdom and consequently demands that everything be in conformity with it. If we did not make this comparison, we would not have the virtue of faith. If we find that the teachings of Vatican I I are not in conformity with the teaching of the Catholic Faith, we are bound to reject Vatican II, and bound to conclude that those who promulgate it do not have the authority of Christ. Otherwise our adherence to the error which is contrary to faith would ruin the virtue in us, and we would become heretics.

Similarly, if we would entertain the thought that the Catholic Church were capable of promulgating false doctrines and evil worship and discipline, we would be heretics.

So to privately conclude that Benedict XVI is a heretic, indeed an apostate from the Faith, is not to “judge” the pope in the sense that it is meant by canonists and theologians.

In fact, if we could not even think of the possibility of the pope being a heretic, then why do so many theologians speak about this possibility, and about the consequences of his being a heretic?

This sermon, given by Bishop Sanborn on the Feast of the Dedication of the Basilica of Saint John Lateran nearly five months ago now (http:/RejectionOfTheVatican2Antipopes_11-09-08.mp3) is also very useful to review.

Please continue to pray for Father Oswalt. Please continue to pray that others in the conciliar clergy will follow his example.

Thank you.

Embracing The Faith No Matter the Consequences

An openness to the working of the graces won for us by the shedding of every single drop of Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ's Most Precious Blood on the wood of the Holy Cross on Good Friday and that flow into our hearts and souls through the loving hands of Our Lady, she who is the Mediatrix of All Graces, is essential to navigate one's way through the muck and the mire of the mystical Passion, Death and Burial of the Church Militant on earth at the hands of the agents of the counterfeit church of conciliarism. It is necessary to pray and to study, pray and to study, asking Our Lady to help us to have the humility to admit our mistakes if we had thought that the Catholic Church could be responsible for any of the heresies and apostasies and errors and blasphemies and sacrileges that have originated with and have been propagated by the lords of the counterfeit church of conciliarism, that which is an ape of the Catholic Church and is a prefiguring of Antichrist.

We must take action once we come to accept the simple truth that it is impossible for the Catholic Church to give us liturgies that are defective and thus offensive to God and harmful to souls, impossible for any true pope to believe privately, no less to assert publicly, things that are contrary to the Deposit of Faith and still remain a member of the Catholic Church in good standing. This is what we had to do just about three years ago now when we could no longer ignore or deny the evidence of the counterfeit nature of the conciliar church. Although we are not one whit better than anyone else and I, for one, have many, many sins for which to make reparation to the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus through the Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary, coming to the recognition that we did three years ago did not place us on a a path to popularity or to career success or financial security. There is a price to be paid for embracing the truth. This price, however, is indeed very small when one considers the fact that so many true bishops and true priests have blazed the path for us by their own sacrifices and their own priestly zeal for the truth without fear of the consequences.

The sacrifices made by these true bishops and true priests bring forth tangible fruit every now and again. Readers send notes explaining how they have been convinced of the counterfeit nature of conciliarism by reading the material at Traditional Mass or on The Daily Catholic site or at CMRI Index or at Novus Ordo Watch or by listening to the sermons of Bishops Daniel Dolan and Donald Sanborn and Father Anthony Cekada, among others, at Traditional Catholic Sermons. Some have even found the articles on this site to be of use to them in this regard

None of the work that anyone of us in the laity is doing, however, would be possible were it not for the courageous bishops and priests who forsook all human respect in order to embrace the truth without fear of the consequences, men who have made it possible for Catholics to have Sanctifying Grace at a time when Its wellsprings have dried up in most places as a result of the conciliar apostasies, which have included invalid liturgies and other sacramental rites.

It is because of the fact that true bishops and true priests have made Sanctifying Grace present at a time of general apostasy and betrayal that those still attached to the counterfeit church of conciliarism can come to see and to accept the truth of our ecclesiastical situation. A true priest never knows who will be affected by the Actual Graces that flow out of the Masses he offers. In order to maintain his humility, God will not let a priest know all of the many ways in which the graces he has made present in the world have helped souls. He will, however, provide a bit of consolation now and again to encourage priests, who, like the rest of us, are but flesh and blood human beings, in need of a bit of encouragement now and again so that they can continue their desert journey of life with greater vigor than before.

Such is the case represented by the departure of a man ordained as a "priest" in the conciliar structures in 2007, Father Michael Oswalt, who came to recognize that he was not a priest and that the conciliar church is indeed a counterfeit one. His case, although not entirely unheard of, is indeed most rare. This article details the remarkable courage of Father Oswalt, who is going to return to seminary for a three or four year period this fall so that he can be ordained by a true bishop in the traditional Roman Rite of the Catholic Church.

As readers of this site are well aware, I use quotation marks, at least in most instances, to refer to the titles of bishops and priests (and those holding honorary titles such as cardinals and monsignors) in the structures of the counterfeit church of conciliarism. Although I have not done so in this article, let it be stipulated for those not familiar with my work that I was convinced three years ago that the conciliar rite of episcopal consecration is invalid and that men "ordained" to the priesthood by "bishops" consecrated after 1968 are no more legitimate priests than the clergy of a Protestant sect. This is what Father Oswalt came to recognize on his own after considerable study.

Please pray for Father Oswalt. Please pray that many of his brethren in the conciliar clergy will follow his example of a commitment to the truths of the Faith no matter the consequences.

Our Lady of the Rosary, pray for us. Saint Joseph, pray for priests.

Although work has begun on yet another original article, it is likely to be the case that it will not be completed for a few days. Our TrailBlazer gets returned to us today. We will attempt to leave Texas tomorrow, Thursday in Passion Week, in order to be back at Saint Gertrude the Great Church for Holy Week and Easter Week. There may be a gap of several days before the next article is posted, especially since I am still suffering from a pretty bad viral infection that has sapped my strength, meaning that I will need several days to recover from the long drive that we are about to make. Penance is better than ever in 2009, especially in Passiontide. Keep checking for that next article. And please keep praying for us.

We are still, of course, in need of non-tax-deductible financial gifts to sustain us for the month of April. The only guaranteed income that I get in the course of a year, the sixth payment of nine annual installments from my very small retirement account from teaching, will be received this year one month from day. That will sustain us for the month of May. We do need assistance to pay the bills that have come due at the beginning of a new month and to sustain our bodily needs for the next thirty days. We thank those of you who have made non-tax-deductible gifts thus far--and we hope that there will some surprises for us in our post office box in Ohio upon our return.

Finally, please remember to watch the Live Mass Simulcast of the Requiem Mass that His Excellency Bishop Daniel L. Dolan will be offering for the repose of the immortal soul of his late mother, Mrs. Rosemary Dolan, on the seventh day after her death at 11:25 a.m., Eastern Daylight Saving Time, at Saint Gertrude the Great Church. Those of you in the Cincinnati, Ohio, area who are able to assist at this Mass should do so. Thank you.

March 31 Article

Why Should Hillary Know More Than Benedict?

As should be well known to anyone who is a longtime reader of my writing, I have been a critic of the Clintons since they emerged on the national scene in 1991 and 1992. Many, many articles of mine that were critical of these quintessential pro-aborts ran in The Wanderer between October of 1992 and December of 2000. Other articles ran in the pages of Christ or Chaos when it was a printed journal. Many articles critical of the Clintons have appeared on this site in the past five years.

I am not, however, going to bash United States Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton's display of ignorance when she asked "who painted" the miraculous image that Our Lady of Guadalupe left on Juan Diego's tilma on December 12, 1531. Why should she know the facts of Our Lady's apparitions to Juan Diego? She has spent her entire life steeped in one Protestant and naturalist lie after another, surviving in a self-made "bubble," if you will, of unreality.

Indeed, why should Hillary Rodham Clinton know any more about the Holy Faith than Joseph Ratzinger/Benedict XVI, who feels free to blaspheme God by walking into mosques and synagogues, both of which are dens of the devil, and treating them as "holy" places? Why should Hillary Rodham Clinton know any more about the Holy Faith than a man who thinks nothing of using meditations for the Way of the Cross at the Colosseo in Rome on Good Friday, April 10, 2009, that have been composed by a conciliar "archbishop" in India who admits having incorporated the "spiritual" insights of Mahatma K. Gandhi, who denied the Sacred Divinity of Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ? (This reminds me of the conciliar "priest" in the Diocese of Rockville Centre who said from the pulpit in 1983 at the time that the motion picture about Gandhi was released, "You know, I think that. Christ was a very Gandhi-like figure." No, I am not making this up. I heard this with my own ears. It scandalized a set of twins, a brother and a sister, who were students in a religious education class I was teaching in that parish and had enough sense to recognize blasphemy and stupidity when they heard it with their thirteen year-old ears.) If Joseph Ratzinger/Benedict XVI does not know how he offends God by His words and actions, how can we expect Hillary Rodham Clinton to know how she offends God by her words and actions?

The article that I had hoped to post today is still being vetted. I also need to hear back from two individuals to whom I have submitted questions so that their responses can be included in the article. Thanks for your patience.

We have raised around $900 of the $2500 that we need to meet immediate expenses (bills that have come due at the end of March and will come due in the first days of April). I thank those who have responded thus far and ask others to consider making non-tax-deductible financial gifts and/or purchasing lectures on the  Christ or Chaos Store site.

Work on the travelogue continues. It has been slowed by the work on the article that is out for vetting and by my continued penitential illness, an illness I well deserve because of my sins and offer up gladly to the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus through the Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary.

March 30 Update

Work on the article that has now been sent out for vetting took much longer than I had anticipated. There will be no new article on this site until tomorrow, March 31, 2009, Tuesday in Passion Week, as a result. It was important for the article that is now out for review to be thorough and accurate. It will be posted after approval is received from those who are reviewing its text.

There is also a new audio lecture for sale at Christ or Chaos Store. It is yet another presentation, delivered in Stafford, Texas, yesterday, Passion Sunday, on Joseph Ratzinger/Benedict XVI's lifelong warfare against the nature of dogmatic truth. The lecture ("To Disbelieve in the Nature of Truth Is to Disbelieve in the Nature of God") runs one hour, seven minutes. It costs $1.00. (We need to raise $2500 to pay our bills. I hope that some of the readers of this site who have not purchased lectures in the past will do so now.)

His Excellency Bishop Daniel L. Dolan will be offering a Solemn High Requiem Mass for the repose of the immortal soul of his late mother, Mrs. Rosemary Dolan, on the seventh day following her death, Wednesday, April 1, 2009, at 11:25 a.m., Eastern time, at Saint Gertrude the Great Church in West Chester, Ohio. The Mass will be simulcast at Live Mass Simulcasts. Please also make it a point to read the weekly Bulletin of Saint Gertrude the Great Church. This week's "Bishop's Corner" contains a very pithy description of Bishop Dolan's meeting with Father Basil Meramo in Mexico nearly two weeks ago now.

Finally, please do yourself a favor and listen to the sermon delivered yesterday by Father Markus Ramolla, The Beauty of a Soul in the State of Grace. It is powerful, dynamic and most inspirational. (We heard a magnificent sermon on Passiontide delivered by Father Maurice Dignan here in Texas yesterday. I do not know whether it was recorded. If it was recorded, however, I will find a way of linking to it before too long.)

March 29 Revised Article

Revised: To Forgive As We Are Forgiven, 2009

One of the recurring themes in my writing is the obligation each of us has as a Catholic to forgive others as we have been forgiven so freely and so readily by Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ acting through an alter Christus in the Sacred Tribunal Penance. There is nothing that anyone can do to us, say about us or cause us to suffer, whether emotionally or physically, that is the equal of what one of our least Venial Sins caused the God-Man to suffer in His Sacred Humanity during His Passion and Death as the Fourth through Seven Swords of Sorrow pierced the Immaculate Heart of His Most Blessed Mother. If He forgives us recidivist sinners, steeped in the spiritual mediocrity of lukewarmness, so readily and so frequently, who are we to hesitate for a moment to forgive others anything and everything, whether real or imagined or exaggerated, that they have have said about us or done to us?

Our Lord entered His Passion so as to redeem us and thus to make it possible for us to know His forgiveness, first in the Baptismal font and then in the Sacred Tribunal of Penance (and, for our Venial Sins, every time a priest administers Absolution following the recitation of the Confiteor in the offering of Holy Mass). We must make good use of this Passiontide to be more forgiving.

As one who has grown old before his time, worn down by a recent illness that shows no sign of quitting, a suffering I deserve most justly for my sins, I have no energy at all (Deo gratias!) for nursing petty grudges and stewing in my juices about the judgments of others. Our sins imposed an unjust judgment on God in the very Flesh. It is good for us to suffer humiliation and rejection and calumny and scorn and derision. Very good for us. The more we suffer with love and gratitude is the more that we can unite ourselves to the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus through the Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary. And even if we are the victims of real injustices and calumnies, so what? So what? Everything gets revealed on the Last Day at the General Judgment of the Living and the Dead. Each of the just will be reconciled one to the other at that time. That happy reconciliation then can only take place, however, if we forgive others from our hearts in the here and now of this passing, mortal vale of tears!

Let's make this the best Passiontide of our lives.

It is my hope to have an original article posted on this site tomorrow, Monday in Passion Week. The article will deal with United States of America's Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton's visit to the modern Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe a few days ago. The travelogue will get written soon. I am also doing a lot of work on an article that will be sent out for vetting later on today. Depending upon how quickly that vetting process takes place and whether I receive a response from an individual I believe give must be given an opportunity to answer some questions that I have posed to him, this particular article should be posted by Tuesday, March 31, 2009, or Wednesday, April 1, 2009.

His Excellency Bishop Donald Sanborn has written yet another piece on the amazing turn of events between the counterfeit church of conciliarism and the Society of Saint Pius X, Here Comes the Bride: The Music Starts Again for the SSPX. This is an excellent article. Please do yourself a favor and read it from start to finish.

I revised the Donations letter yet again. We're about to go "belly up." As we pray to Our Lady of Good Success and to Saint Joseph, we ask you once again for your non-tax-deductible financial gifts.

Pots and Kettles

Another day, another article on the false ecclesiology of the Society of Saint Pius X, whose leaders are involved in a "Pier Six," knock-down, drag-out donnybrook with the conciliar "bishops" of the Federal Republic of Germany over who is more "loyal" to Joseph Ratzinger/Benedict XVI. This is a case of pots calling kettles black. Our Lady of the Rosary, pray for us.

Republished: Images to Last For An Eternity

Many of the conciliar revolutionaries have smashed statues of Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ and Our Lady and Saint Joseph and other saints with an iconoclastic abandon. The great saint we celebrate today, Saint John Damascene, fought the iconoclasts in his day. And while many, although far from all, of our Catholic churches are now in the hands of the conciliar iconoclasts, we can festoon our homes with images of Our Lord and Our Lady and Saint Joseph and other saints as we use these images to remind us of we are united to the saints represented in these images by means of the Communion of Saints and that we hope to share Heaven with them for all eternity in the glory of the Beatific Vision.

Today is, of course, our daughter Lucy's seventh birthday and the first anniversary of her First Holy Communion. Please pray for her. Thank you.

Please continue to pray for the repose of the soul of Mrs. Rosemary Dolan and for the needs of her son, His Excellency Bishop Daniel L. Dolan, and his siblings at this time.

As there have been five original articles in five straight days, there may be a gap of a few days before the next original article, which will, most likely, be the next installment in the travelogue. Today must be given over entirely to our daughter after Holy Mass. Keep checking for the next new article.

We need to raise money for our deductible when we get our TrailBlazer back next Wednesday or Thursday. Would you please consider making a non-tax-deductible gift to us? Monthly bills come due around the same time we are scheduled to get our beaten-up car back from the body shop. Thank you. Sincerely yours in Christ the King and Mary our Immaculate Queen, Thomas A. Droleskey.

Mocking Our Lord on the Day of His Incarnation

Ah, it had been my hope last evening to retire early. Indeed, I had assumed the horizontal position and was nearly in a state of slumber when I realized that I had not turned off the old computer that I am using until I can get the one that took a drink of ginger ale on March 14, 2009 repaired, making the mistake of checking e-mail just one last time. It was then that I discovered that Walter "Cardinal" Kasper had a bit of time yesterday mocking Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ on the day of His Incarnation as he, Kasper, "rededicated" a menorah, a symbol of a false religion that is hated by God, at the "pastoral" center of the Archdiocese of Boston in Braintree, Massachusetts. I had to assume some degree of consciousness, therefore, to write this brief article. It is truly surreal to have deal with these mind-numbing matters. No matter the very few numbers of people who read these articles, however, God cannot be mocked with impunity, which is why this terrible, recidivist sinner believes that it is necessary to make some effort to defend Catholic truth when those who pose, albeit illegitimately, as officials of the Catholic Church make a mockery of Him and of His Holy Faith. Our Lady of Fatima, pray for us.

We are always in need of Donations.

Please continue to pray for the repose of the immortal soul of Mrs. Rosemary Dolan, the mother of our good friend and shepherd, His Excellency Bishop Daniel L. Dolan.

March 25 Articles and Prayer Request for the Soul of the Mother of Bishop Daniel L. Dolan, Mrs. Rosemary Dolan, R.I.P.

His Excellency Bishop Daniel L Dolan was kind enough to write to me this day to inform me that his mother, Mrs. Rosemary Dolan, died peacefully this morning on the Feast of the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary, a glorious day on which to die. Please join us in having Masses offered for the repose of Mrs. Dolan's immortal soul as we keep her soul in our prayers every day, especially in our daily Rosaries. We offer our condolences to Bishop Dolan and his family. Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May her soul--and all of the souls of the faithful departed--through the Mercy of God rest in peace. Amen.

Revised: Et Verbum Caro Facto Est, 2009

This revised article was posted earlier today. I have revised this brief reflection on the feast we celebrate today, the feast which signifies the moment when the Second Person of the Most Blessed Trinity, the very Word through Whom all things were made, personally entered into human history as He was made Incarnate in the Virginal and Immaculate Womb of His Most Blessed Mother by the power of the Third Person of the Most Blessed Trinity, God the Holy Ghost, Who overshadowed Our Lady after she had given her perfect Fiat to the Will of the First Person of the Most Blessed Trinity, God the Father, as that Will was made known to her by Saint Gabriel the Archangel. The whole of human history is changed today--and no one can remain neutral about what happened on this day.

If the Second Person of the Most Blessed Trinity really did become Man this day in Our Lady's Virginal and Immaculate Womb so as to redeem us on the wood of the Holy Cross thirty-three years later, as we know is indeed the case, then every person and every nation on the face of this earth must acknowledge this fact and subordinate everything to the Deposit of Faith that He has entrusted exclusively to His Catholic Church for Its eternal safekeeping and infallible explication. We must pray to Our Lady every day so that we will never lose sight of the centrality of the Incarnation in our own lives and in the lives of our nations, never lose sight of the fact that Holy Mass itself is Incarnational as the Word Who was made Incarnate in her Virginal and Immaculate Womb is made Incarnate on altars of sacrifice under the appearances of bread and wine by true bishops and true priests.

Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ spent nine months in the tabernacle of Our Lady's Virginal and Immaculate Womb, thereby sanctifying the wombs of al mothers. He is in solidarity with every child in every mother's womb. Every abortion, whether by chemical or surgical means, is an indirect attack on the Incarnation that took place this very day. Those of you who live in and around the Cincinnati, Ohio, area can make reparation for the crime of abortion by spending some time in prayer this afternoon before Our Lord's Real Presence, solemnly exposed for adoration after the 11:25 a.m. High Mass at Saint Gertrude the Great Church in West Chester, Ohio. Please consider doing so.

A blessed Feast of the Annunciation of Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ to His Most Blessed Mother by Saint Gabriel the Archangel to you all.

Shell Games With Souls

All right, all right. Still suffering from the Lenten illness that has sapped my energy considerably, all I have strength to write at 1:56 a.m., Central Daylight Saving Time, is that this original article deals with conciliar shell games being played by the Diocese of Joliet and by Joseph Ratzinger/Benedict XVI himself in so many ways as the Society of Saint Pius X prepares to "recognize" and capitulate to a false "pontiff" who has had told us in his own words that he seeks to neutralize traditionally-minded Catholics yet attached to the structures of his false church.

As I must spend time today drafting an article that will be sent out for vetting before being posted, the next original article on this site may not appear until Friday, March 27, 2009, the Feast of Saint John Damascene (and the seventh birthday of one Lucy Mary Therese Norma Droleskey). A travelogue will be written and posted soon. We are still in the midst of adventures! All to thee, Blessed Mother. All to thy Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart. Jesus, Mary and Joseph, we love you. Save souls!

Our Lady Does Not Honor Pro-Aborts

The hour is really late (or early). This article deals with the invitation extended by "Father John Jenkins, C.S.C., to the fully pro-abortion President of the United States of America, Barack Hussein Obama, to speak at the University of Notre Dame on May 17, 2009. This should shock no one. The University of Notre Dame has been taking blood money for over five decades now from the pro-population control, pro-abortion and pro-perversity Ford Foundation. We must, however, defend Our Lady's honor as it is under assault at the university (which is my own Master's alma mater) named for her.

There is also a new lecture available for a mere $1.50 at Christ or Chaos Store. It is the lecture that I gave last evening in Missouri City, Texas.

A blessed Feast of Saint Gabriel the Archangel to you all.

Thoughts to Ponder...

"America, it is said, is suffering from intolerance. It is not. It is suffering from tolerance of right and wrong, truth and error, virtue and evil, Christ and chaos. Our country is not nearly so much overrun with the bigoted as it is overrun with the broadminded....

"...In the face of this broadmindedness, what the world needs is intolerance."

(Fulton Sheen's "A Plea for Intolerance," 1931)

Memo to President Obama from Pope Pius XI:

"Those who hold the reins of government should not forget that it is the duty of public authority by appropriate laws and sanctions to defend the lives of the innocent, and this all the more so since those whose lives are endangered and assailed cannot defend themselves. Among whom we must mention in the first place infants hidden in the mother's womb. And if the public magistrates not only do not defend them, but by their laws and ordinances betray them to death at the hands of doctors or of others, let them remember that God is the Judge and Avenger of innocent blood which cried from earth to Heaven." (Pope Pius XI, Casti Connubii, December 30, 1930.)

"The whole world is dividing itself into progressives and conservatives. The job of the progressives is to go on making mistakes. The job of the conservatives is to prevent those mistakes from being corrected." Gilbert Keith Chesterton, April 19, 1924

"Know this: it is by very little breaches of regularity that the devil succeeds in introducing the greatest abuses. May you never end up saying: 'This is nothing, this is an exaggeration.'" (Saint Teresa of Avila, Foundations, Chapter Twenty-nine)

"I would give up my life a thousand times, not only for each of the truths of Sacred Scripture, but even more for the least of the ceremonies of the Catholic Church."  (Saint Teresa of Avila, Life, Thirty-three, 3.)
