With apologies for the delay, I hereby present my commentary on the most recent public school shooting.

Now, I realize that a lot of people are following this or that conspiracy theory. This article is not for them. We do not have television and I have not looked at a single video of the scene of the shooting or any commentary on it. Although I full well recognize that much in the mainslime media is concocted, the contemporaneous information sent by students and teachers at the scene, some of which have pointed to the presence of multiple shooters, perhaps, indicates that Nikolas Cruz was not arrested without just cause.

We may only know in eternity whether what appears to be sloth on the part of the four Broward County deputies and the multiple signals missed by various law enforcement agencies, including the CPA (Clinton Protection Agency) and the Broward County sheriff’s department, were deliberate or planned. The focus on my commentary, as per usual, is on root causes, including that all must fall apart when Catholicism is not the foundation of personal and social life.

We pray for the deceased and for their families, praying also for the recovery of the wounded and for the conversion of Nikolas Cruz.

The next commentary on this site will be a long-delayed study of a speech that Jorge Mario Bergoglio gave in November in support of “palliative care. George Soros is a busy man as it is he who is exploiting the recent school shooting and whispering in the ear of the currently reigning antipope.

We must rely upon Our Lady’s maternal intercession, especially by means of her Most Holy Rosary, during these terrible times.

I received a text message from a good friend, Lt. Spencer Colgan, N.Y.P.D. (retired), who is a former student of mine in the 1985-1986 academic year at Saint Francis College in Brooklyn, New York, on Thursday evening, February 22, 2018, the Feast of the Chair of Saint Peter at Antioch, asking us to pray for Miss Helen Franco, who was born on March 28, 1928, after she had suffered a massive heart attack.

As Helen was so very kind to us when her late brother, Father Salvatore V. Franco, permitted us to assist at his offering of the Immemorial Mass of Tradition in the house where they lived together in Westbury, Long Island, New York, from April to November of 2002 before Father Franco was diagnosed with acute leukemia, I picked up the phone to speak with Spencer to find out more details. Spencer’s first words were, “She just died,” whereupon we both prayed “Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May her soul and all the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.”

Helen Franco took care of her parents and her brother after the latter had a heart attack at the age of thirty-seven in 1963 and subsequently retired from the Diocese of Brooklyn, which permitted him to offer the Immemorial Mass of Tradition privately. (For my tribute, written when I was still an “indulterer” but making a transition into the schismatic “resist while recognize” camp, to Father Franco, who died on Friday, December 13, 2002, the Feast of Saint Lucy, please see Home to His Mother--Daily Catholic.) She remained very active in the fifteen years after her brother’s death as she continued to host and cook dinners for large gatherings of Catholics, especially for the famed M&M Twins who had relied so heavily for spiritual advice from Father Franco. The “boys,” who are in their fifties, looked after Helen very devotedly. Helen, in turn, treated them as her sons.

It was this motherly care that Helen Franco, who never married and devoted her life to the care of her family, gave to Lieutenant Spencer Colgan whenever he had jobs to paint houses on Long Island, and it this care that forms the basis of the beautiful tribute he wrote to honor her in death after he had been the recipient of her gracious and unsparing generosity.

We ourselves last saw Helen at the Milleridge Inn, Jericho, Long Island, New York, on Thursday, July 26, 2012, during a brief visit back “home” to Long Island, although we spoke with her on the phone during a less than twenty-four hour visit seven months ago. However, she remained in our prayers every day in life, and her immortal soul will remain in our prayers every day now that she has died. Those who have died in a state of Sanctifying Grace are closer to us after death than they ever were in this passing, mortal vale of tears. We in the Church Militant must remember always to stay united in prayers to the members of the Church Suffering in Purgatory, who, though being incapable of helping themselves can intercede for our own spiritual and temporal needs. 

It is my privilege, therefore, to offer this site’s readers Lt. Spencer Colgan’s tribute to the late Helen Franco, R.I.P.

Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May her soul and all the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.

Although not exactly the result of “popular demand,” here is my very long commentary about the current deep state coup against the incumbent naturalist in the White House. It took a very long time to complete this commentary, which underwent a few minor revisions late Sunday evening, February 18, 2018, to correct some typrographical errors.  However, I believe those who do read it will find it of some interest.

[Late-night update, Thursday, February 15, 2018:  Although I am almost through with work on my long commentary about the ongoing coup against the naturalist who is currently residing in the White House, its completion was impeded today by spending over five hours at a hospital undergoing three different MRIs. As I have only the conclusion to wrap-up tomorrow, it is my hope to present the commenatary to this site's readership sometime late Friday afternoon, Friday, Feburary 16, 2018, Friday after Ash Wednesday. Our annual Lenten journey into the desert has commenced anew. Deo gratias!

This is the time of penance. This is the time to withdraw from the world. This is the time to be earnest about relying upon the ineffable graces that were won for us by the shedding of every single drop of the Most Precious Blood of Our Divine Redeemer, Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, during His Passion and Death and that flow into our sous through the loving hands of His Most Blessed Mother, she who is the Mediatrix of All Graces.

This period of six weeks, four days until Easter Sunday (six weeks, three and one-half days until the Easter Vigil) is nearly one-ninth of an entire calendar year. May we beg Our Lady to help us make the best Lent of our lives as we do not know if it will be our last. Indeed, we do not know whether we will live to see Easter Sunday in this life on Sunday, April 1, 2018.

Although the next commentary for this site is still being written, we had to go for chiropractic treatments on Monday, something that ate up almost all of the daylight hours and the little bit that remained of our financial means for the coming. As I was in a particularly bad way with arthritic lower disc disease, the trip for the treatments was a necessity as writing for long stretches has been very difficult lately. This is, of course, a great penance, and I accept it as such.

Well, it took more like ten additional hours, not two or three, to complete this long commentary on the approval of a “miracle” to advance the fake, phony, fraud cause of an antipope and anti-saint, Giovanni Battista Enrico Maria Montini/Paul VI, to become the next inductee in the Conciliar Pantheon of Anti-Saints.

A long series of appendices—perhaps numbering as thirty-five pages longer than the commentary’s text—have been included to buttress points made in the main text.

This is not light reading, but even though there are very, very few people who access this site any longer, I still want to do comprehensive work on the subjects I choose to review, admitting that it is taking me much longer to complete these articles than in the past.

It is now back to work on the long, long commentary about the ongoing coup against the naturalist in the White House who did not take a stand against funding for Planned Barrenhood in the budget that he signed into law on Friday, February 9, 2018, the Feast of Saint Cyril of Alexandria and the Commemoration of Saint Appolonia.

Today is the one hundred sixtieth anniversary of the first apparition of Our Lady to Saint Bernadette Soubirous in the Grotto of Massabielle near Lourdes, France. Our Lady explained to the fourteen year-old Bernadette that we must do penance for our sins and for those of others.

Can we do any less in our day?

Indeed, the state of the Church Militant on earth and of the world-at-large has worsened as the sins of men have grown more numerous and more daring and as most baptized Catholics have been deprived of access to Sanctifying Grace by virtue of the invalid sacraments offered in the counterfeit church of conciliarism. God is not going to permit any country that kills the innocent preborn with legal impunity and kills souls in the name of the falsehoods of "freedom of speech" and "freedom of the press" and "freedom of religion" and a general sense of legal and cultural licentiousness to know long term material prosperity. Then again, these merchants of death have been enabled by the conciliar revolutionaries, who believe that signs of "outward penance belong to a different era in the history of the Church." We must indeed take Our Lady's injunction, "Penance! Penance! Penance! Pray to God for sinners," most seriously as we pray as many Rosaries each day as our states-in-life permits. 

My commentary on the forthcoming "canonization" of Giovanni Battista Enrico Antonio Maria/Paul VI has another two to three hours of work to do on it before posting. The entirety of yesterday, the Feast of Saint Scholastica, was spent on the project. Indeed, work on it only ceased about five minutes ago, well after Midnight on Quinquagesima Sunday, which, of course, demotes the Feast of the Apparition of Our Lady of Lourdes to a commemoration.

[February 9, 2018, Update: Although I am still working on a long commentary about the ongoing coup against the "conservative" fan all things military, which includes budget-busting deals with spendthrift Democrats who love to see future generations hopelessly burdened with the national debt and the taxation necessary to deal with it, word reached me late last night after arriving home after a day or errands and arranging for more medical tests that a "miracle" has been attributed to Giovanni Battista Enrico Antonio Maria Montini/Paul VI! A miracle, mind you. Well, I do mind, and it is with this in mind that I have started work on a brief commentary that takes precedence over the one that I have been working on assiduously for about ten days now. I hope to have the Montini commentary published by very late Saturday, February 10, 2018, the Feast of Saint Scholastica.]

Work continues on my long article examining the ongoing coup d’etat against the egotistical naturalist-in-chief, Donald John Trump, a man who is in love with what even the Freemason named George Washington warned against, a standing army, and who seems ready to do the bidding of what the tormenter of Catholic refugees from Soviet bloc nations, President Dwight David Eisenhower, said was inimical to a free society, the military-industrial complex. There is a coup being conducted by those seeking to cover-up the crimes of the previous administration, but this does not mean that all is well in the current administration. Naturalism, no matter of the “left” or of the “right,” produces disaster despite the intentions of those who believe in their brand of it.

This current commentary deals with the fact that the “humble” Jorge Mario Bergoglio, who protested last month that there was no a “shred of evidence” to prove that one of his favorite comrades, “Bishop” Juan Barros, knew of the clerical abuses that had been committed by his mentor, Father Fernando Karadiima. Well, there is now proof that Jorge Mario Bergoglio was given the proof directly.

Well, it is another very late hour that is very much past the time when I should have gone to sleep.

However, I did want to complete and post this lengthy review of how Jorge Mario Bergoglio and his false church are betraying faithful Catholics in Red China and some very courageous Mohammedan converts to what they think is Catholicism who are upset with the “pope’s” incessant praise of the “religion of peace.”

Is there anything going on in the news these days?

Ah, yes, that business about some kind of memorandum, right?

Give me a day or two, my good and most kind twenty readers, and I will have a “little” commentary on the matter, which will be followed, if not accompanied, by a brief video presentation. (Remember, I am very “low tech,” but I would make more use of video presentations if I had a facility near me that would be conducive to making them on a regular basis.
