To Keep Us Perpetually Agitated
Thomas A. Droleskey
Our ancient adversary, whose head has been crushed by the heel of Our Lady, desires to keep us in perpetual states of agitation. He wants to give us no time for prayer, reflection, spiritual reading or even conversations with our own family members. The devil wants us to be surrounded by a cacophony of noise and confusion and disarray.
Human beings are kept agitated by watching non-stop cable news and talk programs until the wee hours of a morning. They are kept agitated by listening to talk radio when they are driving or riding in automobiles. They are kept agitated by "surfing" the internet to find this and that "lead" on the latest conspiracy theory, hunting for the minute details of "who is responsible for what" when they lose sight of the fact that all of the problems of Modernity are caused, proximately speaking, by the overthrow of the Social Reign of Christ the King and of Mary our Immaculate Queen wrought by the Protestant Revolt, institutionalized by Judeo-Masonry and promoted election year after election year by the organized forces of naturalism in the two organized crime families that call themselves "political parties."
The agitation caused by the devil's influences in our daily lives has made it difficult for people to sit down and read a thorough and sustained analysis of any issue. Remote controls, slogans, sound bites and a million other distractions of the moment leave people unable to think rationally, relying upon the viscera of raw emotions and illogic. Anger and hysteria rule the day as even many believing Catholics come to accept most uncritically the naturalist lie that there is something short of Catholicism that can serve as the foundation of personal and social order, well, at least in the "short run," you understand.
This situation is compounded, as I noted in Apostasy Has Consequences, by the fact that the counterfeit church of conciliarism has made its "reconciliation" with the "principles of 1789," rejecting most categorically the necessity of praying and working for the restoration of the confessionally Catholic civil state. Indeed, Joseph Ratzinger/Benedict XVI believes that such a thing would be harmful to conciliarism's goal of the "peaceful coexistence" of religions as men who purport to be shepherds of the true Church engage in interminable "dialogue" with representatives of other false religions, each of which has the ability, the conciliarists claim, to "contribute" to social order within nations and to peace among them. Conciliarism does indeed contend that there is some "admixture" of truth and error that can produce order within nations and peace among them. This only compounds the agitation produced by the false, naturalistic, religiously indifferentist, anti-Incarnational and semi-Pelagian principles of Modernity.
Look at all of the agitation taking place now in the final seven days of the presidential race here in the United States of America. Look at the disjointed messages being delivered by United States Senator John Sidney McCain III as he attempts to find some way to "connect" with undecided and disaffected voters.
All manner of people are excited, full of fear and in a frenzy, worried sick about "what will happen" next Tuesday, November 4, 2008. As I noted two days ago in Step by Step, what will happen is that a naturalist of the one our two false opposites, of the "left" or of the "right," will emerge as the de facto president-elect of the United States of America.
This naturalist, whoever he turns out to be, will expand the power of the civil state.
He will appoint pro-aborts to his White House staff and in the Cabinet and sub-Cabinet.
He will sell out American sovereignty to globalist organizations or he will attempt to export American "exceptionalism" by means of more needless wars.
He will let more waves of illegal immigrants into the country to serve the interests of corporate America so as to fill the underclass jobs left vacant as a result of the millions upon millions of babies who have been killed by chemical and surgical abortifacients.
He will further enable the murderous regime of Red China in partnership with American corporations.
One would appoint out-and-out legal revolutionaries to the Federal courts and the other would attempt to appoint "conservative" legal positivists to the Federal courts (whose nominations, it should be pointed out, would be defeated by a United States Senate that will be solidly in the hands of the Democrat Party, thanks to the "lesser of two evils" of the year 2000, George Walker Bush).
He will spend the government of the United States of American further and further into bankruptcy.
He will promote the chemical assassination of children by means of domestic and international "family planning" programs.
One would seek to restore Federal funding for Medicaid funded surgical abortions in all instances, the other would do nothing to reverse RU-486 or the over-the-counter sales of the Plan B "emergency" contraceptive/abortifacient.
He will restore full Federal funding for embryonic stem-cell research.
One would seek to gag opposition speech while the other would be stymied by a Congress overwhelmingly in the hands of the opposition party, whose leaders would be able to override presidential vetoes aplenty.
What is there to be so agitated about? The devil wins. He won in the year 2000, and his victory that year has got a Marxist non-entity poised for an apparent victory in but six days. The devil still wins if the Marxist non-entity loses as the naturalist then in office would pursue, guess what, naturalism as the foundation of his domestic and international policies.
There are no surprises in a system that is controlled by the devil, who has his organized forces of naturalism at the levers in both major political parties in the United States of America. Naturalists of the "rightist" bent can strategize all they if the Republican Party loses in six days. Social order is not premised upon "conservative" strategies. It is premised upon one thing and one thing alone, Catholicism. As His Excellency Bishop Daniel L. Dolan noted in his superb sermon on the Feast of Christ the King three days ago, Contempt & The Crown", we cannot continue to crown Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ with thorns by mocking Him by rendering unto potentates of the naturalist "left" and the naturalist "right" our fondest hopes and dreams for the "future."
There is no need to be so agitated. Naturalism will never be retarded by naturalism. We are reaping the whirlwind at this time of the false premises upon which the lie of Modernity has been founded. We are living through the midst of a chastisement, and chastisements are not stopped by naturalistic means. Chastisements are stopped by the conversion of men and their nations as Catholics make reparation to the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus through the Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary for their own sins and those of the whole world.
Our Lady did appear to Jacinta and Francisco Marto and their cousin Lucia dos Santos for no purpose. She appeared to them to explain that her Divine Son was giving us a path out of the madness of the Modernity with which the Modernists have made their "reconciliation." That path is her Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart:
"Sacrifice yourselves for sinners, and say many times, especially when you make some sacrifice: O Jesus, it is for love of You, for the conversion of sinners, and in reparation for the sins committed against the Immaculate Heart of Mary."
"You have seen hell where the souls of poor sinners go. To save them, God wishes to establish in the world devotion to my Immaculate Heart. If what I say to you is done, many souls will be saved and there will be peace. The war is going to end; but if people do not cease offending God, a worse one will break out during the pontificate of Pius XI. When you see a night illumined by an unknown light, know that this is the great sign given you by God that he is about to punish the world for its crimes, by means of war, famine, and persecutions of the Church and of the Holy Father.
"To prevent this, I shall come to ask for the consecration of Russia to my Immaculate Heart, and the Communion of Reparation on the First Saturdays. If my requests are heeded, Russia will be converted, and there will be peace; if not, she will spread her errors throughout the world, causing wars and persecutions of the Church. The good will be martyred, the Holy Father will have much to suffer, various nations will be annihilated. In the end, my Immaculate Heart will triumph. The Holy Father will consecrate Russia to me and she will be converted, and a period of peace will be granted to the world."
Mary specifically told Lucia not to tell anyone about the secret at this stage, apart from Francisco, before continuing: "When you pray the Rosary, say after each mystery: 'O my Jesus, forgive us, save us from the fire of hell. Lead all souls to heaven, especially those who are most in need.' " (Mary's words at Fatima.)
The Catholic Faith has survived all manner of calamities in the past. It will survive whatever happens on November 4, 2008, as two naturalists contend for election to the Presidency of the United States of America in an election that will turn, as most of them do, principally on matters of money and economic-self-interest, not the rights of Christ the King and His Catholic Church.
Remember, my friends, that every Rosary we pray well brings us one step closer to Heaven. Every Rosary we pray plants yet another seed for the restoration of Christendom in the world and for the vanquishing of the counterfeit church of conciliarism. Every Rosary we pray helps us to remember these words of Our Lady, spoken to Juan Diego at Tepeyac Hill:
Know for certain that I am the perfect and perpetual Virgin Mary, Mother of the True God. . . . Here I will show and offer my love, my compassion, my help and my protection to the people. I am your merciful Mother, the Mother of all those who love me, of those who cry to me, of those who have confidence in me. Here I will hear their weeping and their sorrows and will remedy and alleviate their suffering, necessities and misfortunes. . . . Listen and let it penetrate into your heart. . . . Do not be troubled or weighed down with grief. So do not fear any illness or vexation, anxiety or pain. Am I not here who am your Mother? Are you not under my shadow and protection? Am I not your fountain of life? Are you not in the folds of my mantle? In the crossing of my arms? Is there anything else that you need?
We must be calm in the crossing of Our Blessed Mother's loving arms. Calm. Still. Her Divine Son has won for us all of the graces by which we can overcome the forces of the world, the flesh and the devil in our own daily lives. Those graces, won for us by the shedding of every single drop of His Most Precious Blood on the wood of the Holy Cross and flow into our hearts and souls through her own loving hands, are more powerful than any naturalist of the "left" or of the "right."
Turn off the television. Stop listening to the blatherers on the radio. Pray Rosaries, Be still be called. Do not fall prey to the devil's desire to keep us perpetually agitated by the lies and slogans of the farce of electoral politics in our Judeo-Masonic country, lies and slogans that are founded on a rejection of the Incarnation and Our Lord's Redemptive Act on the wood of the Holy Cross as foundational for both personal and social order.
The final part of the prayer that Dom Prosper Gueranger, O.S.B., composed for yesterday's Feast of Saints Simon and Jude speaks to us most tellingly of our own evil days:
Great evils surround us; is there any hope left to the world? The confidence of they devout clients proclaims thee, O Jude, the patron of desperate cases; and for thee, O Simon, this is surely the time to prove thyself Zelotes, full of zeal. Deign, both of you, to hear the Church's prayers; and aid her, with all your apostolic might, to reanimate faith, to rekindle charity, and to save the world.
As Pope Pius XI exhorted us in Quas Primas, December 11, 1925:
We firmly hope, however, that the feast of the Kingship of Christ, which in future will be yearly observed, may hasten the return of society to our loving Savior. It would be the duty of Catholics to do all they can to bring about this happy result. Many of these, however, have neither the station in society nor the authority which should belong to those who bear the torch of truth. This state of things may perhaps be attributed to a certain slowness and timidity in good people, who are reluctant to engage in conflict or oppose but a weak resistance; thus the enemies of the Church become bolder in their attacks. But if the faithful were generally to understand that it behooves them ever to fight courageously under the banner of Christ their King, then, fired with apostolic zeal, they would strive to win over to their Lord those hearts that are bitter and estranged from him, and would valiantly defend his rights.
May Our Lady grant us all of the graces necessary to be calm in the midst of the storms of the present moment, helping us always to fight courageously and zealously under the banner of Christ the King, confident of the Triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary that is to come, and not under the banner of any strip of naturalists who crown Him with thorns repeatedly by their formulas and programs and beliefs that make belief in Him and His true Church a matter of complete indifference to personal and social order.
Viva Cristo Rey!
Immaculate Heart of Mary, triumph soon!
