Apostasy Has Consequences

by Thomas A. Droleskey

One of the recurring themes of my writing in the past decade has been to point out that the electoral process in the United States of America, based on false, naturalistic, anti-Incarnational, semi-Pelagian, religiously indifferentist and majoritarian principles from its outset, will become more and more intractable in the years ahead as a result of the systematic miseducation of the young in America's Concentration Camps and in the "educational" institutions under the control of the counterfeit church of conciliarism and its satellite affiliates (formerly Catholic universities that have divested themselves of an "official" connection to the conciliar hierarchy while maintaining an allegedly "Catholic" identity, one of the most gigantic exercise in mass-based fraud ever perpetrated in the history of the Church).

That is, those looking for a "conservative revival" in the year 2012 as a "backlash against the statism of a President Barack Hussein Obama are living in a world of delusion and fantasy. A "President" Barack Hussein Obama is going to solidify a new and lasting coalition of voters to rival that of the late thirty-third degree Mason named President Franklin Delano Roosevelt, whose first two victories (1932 and 1936) for the highest elected office in the land signaled a major realignment of voters in behalf of the organized crime family known as the Democrat Party. Just as Franklin Delano Roosevelt used the expansion of the welfare state as the means to solidify electoral support for the Democrat Party for over three decades, so will Barack Hussein Obama solidify electoral support for that same political party by means of his own policies, which will be straight from the Marxist playbook even though they will be masked under the slogans of "social justice" and "fairness."

One cannot overstate the nature of the electoral revolution that Franklin Delano Roosevelt, a fifth cousin of the late thirty-third degree Mason Theodore Roosevelt (1858-1919), wrought. Franklin Roosevelt used the Great Depression as a means of creating an allegiance to and dependence upon the redistributionist policies of the so-called "New Deal" as a way of convincing voters that their very return to material prosperity depended upon government largesse at the cost of deficit financing and the creation of massive bureaucracies whose functions were frequently duplicative of each other. Franklin Roosevelt used the "New Deal" to make voters dependent upon the Federal government for the "goodies" that used to be doled out by the party bosses of the urban political machines until the Depression made it difficult for those bosses to dole out what was the forerunner of "welfare" for those who were in need (a good meal, a job, health care) and could not find assistance from their families.

Franklin Roosevelt's policies, of course, violated the Natural Law principle of subsidiarity (that human problems should be addressed in the institution closest to the persons in need, starting with the family, then the parish, then various charitable organizations of a diocese--and then the civil state as an absolute last resort) as the confiscatory taxing power of the Federal government grew to fund the usurpation of the legitimate powers of state and local governments and to fund the massive welfare bureaucracies whose programs continue to convince millions upon millions of average Americans that it is "impossible" to "resolve" certain personal problems without the "government's" assistance. Indeed, millions upon millions of average Americans believe that it is the "government's" "duty" to assist them to "resolve" various personal problems (health care, the security of private pension plans and investment programs, college tuition. ring around the collar, etc.) This was no accident. This is what Franklin Delano Roosevelt and his band of social engineers desired.

The late Father Charles Coughlin, at first a supporter of Franklin Roosevelt's, recognized that the policies of "New Deal" were in violation of the principle of subsidiarity. Roosevelt was able to silence Father Coughlin by making a few telephone calls to various Catholic bishops, showing once again, as demonstrated yesterday in Willfully Trapped by Apostasy that many of the Catholic bishops in the United States of America in the decades prior to the advent of conciliarism were all too willing to do the bidding of the anti-Catholic statists in the Democrat Party.

The issue of "social security" represents by itself a case study in how the civil state can undermine the Fourth Commandment as it creates a category of people, the elderly in this instance, who come to view the government as its true source of sustenance. Let me explain.

The Catholic Church teaches us perennially that we are supposed to work hard at something as long as we are physically and/or mentally able to do so. Even people who choose to retire from some kind of strenuous physical labor must continue to labor hard for the salvation of their immortal souls--and for the souls of their children and grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The concept of  mandatory retirement age, 70, and then relying upon the civil state for one's financial security was the brainchild of the Freemason named Otto von Bismarck, Chancellor first of Prussia--and then of Germany after its "unification" following the Franco-Prussian War of 1870-1871, from 1862-1890. A gigantic income redistribution program was created to fund Social Security in German in the Nineteenth Century, thus alleviating grown children of the principal responsibility of caring for their elderly parents.

Social Security, which was adopted by the government of the United States of America in 1935 as one of the chief policies of another Freemason, the aforementioned Franklin Delano Roosevelt, violates the natural law principle of subsidiarity that is derived from the Fourth Commandment. The ultimate "social security" program for the elderly is to be found in a large family of grown children who share the financial costs of caring for their elderly parents, and for whatever other relatives who happen to be in need at any given time.

If, say, "Uncle Louie" is a little shiftless and can't hold a job, it is the responsibility of his extended family to care for him, not the civil state. Here is where the lie of Social Security, born of a Freemason in Germany who waged war against the Catholic Church by means of his Kulturkampf and instituted in this country by a Freemason who was aided and abetted by sycophantic Catholic bishops eager to silence Father Charles Coughlin's criticisms of Roosevelt's policies as being violative of subsidiarity, meets the lie of contraception and divorce.

Contraception produced smaller families in due time after the post-World War II "baby boom," thus making it more difficult, especially during an era of excessive confiscatory taxation, for children who want to care for their elderly parents and other relatives to do so. Contraception made it more possible for husbands and wives to be unfaithful to each other, leading to divorce and the abandonment of children to day-care and after-school programs in many instances. Contraception, an expression of selfishness and narcissism and a contempt for the law of God, helped to foster a spirit of materialism and self-indulgence to the exclusion of providing for the needs of others. Thus, selfish people who had become accustomed to sating their every physical desire and material want came to believe that it was the civil state's responsibility to provide for the needs of parents and other relatives, not theirs.

We are now at the start of the third generation of Americans born after the "baby boom" ended in 1964. Only a handful of Americans born after 1964 know anything true about First and Last Things as they have been entrusted exclusively to the infallible teaching authority of the Catholic Church by Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Most people born after 1964 have been "catechized" by the various naturalistic ideologies of the "left" in public and in conciliar "educational institutions. They have had this perverse "catechesis" reaffirmed by the mass media and in almost every other aspect of popular culture. The average American, whether Catholic or non-Catholic, in 1964, is steeped in materialism and hedonism (the seeking of pleasure for its own sake, and this includes not only illicit "pleasures" but the seeking of legitimate pleasures to excess and as one of the chief ends of human existence) and relativism and positivism and all of the other many and inter-related aspects that flow forth from the naturalistic presuppositions of the American founding and hence of daily life in the United States of America.

Pope Leo XIII, writing in Humanum Genus, April 20, 1884, told us what evil consequences would flow from the naturalism of Freemasonry:

What, therefore, sect of the Freemasons is, and what course it pursues, appears sufficiently from the summary We have briefly given. Their chief dogmas are so greatly and manifestly at variance with reason that nothing can be more perverse. To wish to destroy the religion and the Church which God Himself has established, and whose perpetuity He insures by His protection, and to bring back after a lapse of eighteen centuries the manners and customs of the pagans, is signal folly and audacious impiety. Neither is it less horrible nor more tolerable that they should repudiate the benefits which Jesus Christ so mercifully obtained, not only for individuals, but also for the family and for civil society, benefits which, even according to the judgment and testimony of enemies of Christianity, are very great. In this insane and wicked endeavor we may almost see the implacable hatred and spirit of revenge with which Satan himself is inflamed against Jesus Christ. -- So also the studious endeavor of the Freemasons to destroy the chief foundations of justice and honesty, and to co-operate with those who would wish, as if they were mere animals, to do what they please, tends only to the ignominious and disgraceful ruin of the human race.

The evil, too, is increased by the dangers which threaten both domestic and civil society. As We have elsewhere shown, in marriage, according to the belief of almost every nation, there is something sacred and religious; and the law of God has determined that marriages shall not be dissolved. If they are deprived of their sacred character, and made dissoluble, trouble and confusion in the family will be the result, the wife being deprived of her dignity and the children left without protection as to their interests and well being. -- To have in public matters no care for religion, and in the arrangement and administration of civil affairs to have no more regard for God than if He did not exist, is a rashness unknown to the very pagans; for in their heart and soul the notion of a divinity and the need of public religion were so firmly fixed that they would have thought it easier to have city without foundation than a city without God. Human society, indeed for which by nature we are formed, has been constituted by God the Author of nature; and from Him, as from their principle and source, flow in all their strength and permanence the countless benefits with which society abounds. As we are each of us admonished by the very voice of nature to worship God in piety and holiness, as the Giver unto us of life and of all that is good therein, so also and for the same reason, nations and States are bound to worship Him; and therefore it is clear that those who would absolve society from all religious duty act not only unjustly but also with ignorance and folly. . . .

Would that all men would judge of the tree by its fruit, and would acknowledge the seed and origin of the evils which press upon us, and of the dangers that are impending! We have to deal with a deceitful and crafty enemy, who, gratifying the ears of people and of princes, has ensnared them by smooth speeches and by adulation. Ingratiating themselves with rulers under a pretense of friendship, the Freemasons have endeavored to make them their allies and powerful helpers for the destruction of the Christian name; and that they might more strongly urge them on, they have, with determined calumny, accused the Church of invidiously contending with rulers in matters that affect their authority and sovereign power. Having, by these artifices, insured their own safety and audacity, they have begun to exercise great weight in the government of States: but nevertheless they are prepared to shake the foundations of empires, to harass the rulers of the State, to accuse, and to cast them out, as often as they appear to govern otherwise than they themselves could have wished. In like manner, they have by flattery deluded the people. Proclaiming with a loud voice liberty and public prosperity, and saying that it was owing to the Church and to sovereigns that the multitude were not drawn out of their unjust servitude and poverty, they have imposed upon the people, and, exciting them by a thirst for novelty, they have urged them to assail both the Church and the civil power. Nevertheless, the expectation of the benefits which was hoped for is greater than the reality; indeed, the common people, more oppressed than they were before, are deprived in their misery of that solace which, if things had been arranged in a Christian manner, they would have had with ease and in abundance. But, whoever strive against the order which Divine Providence has constituted pay usually the penalty of their pride, and meet with affliction and misery where they rashly hoped to find all things prosperous and in conformity with their desires.

Those who expect that "things" will turn around in 2012 after one term of a "President" Obama are deceiving themselves. I reiterate once again the questions that I posed in Movements to a Dead End, Now and for All Eternity eight months ago now concerning the source of a "groundswell" in behalf of some "libertarian" or "conservative" naturalist:

From whence is such a groundswell supposed to spring?

From the graduates of America's public schools, where children are indoctrinated in all manner of statist and leftist and relativist and positivist brainwashing?

From the graduates of the educational institutions under the control of the counterfeit church of conciliarism, where children are indoctrinated, with a few exceptions here and there, to be sure, in all manner of statist and leftist and relativist and positivist brainwashing?

From the support of the conciliar "bishops" of the United States of America, many of whose dioceses are involved quite actively in the organizations of the penultimate statist and naturalist, the late Saul Alinsky? The "bishops" who support a brand of "Catholic" social teaching that cleaves to the left and favors lawbreakers who enter the country illegally and who, for the most part, give a free pass to "Catholics" who support the "right" of women to "choose" to kill their babies, whether by chemical or surgical means?

As I have noted on many other occasions, I had over thirty years of experience teaching political science in various colleges and universities across the United States of America. I saw the wreckage that conciliarism itself had produced in the souls of so many thousands of the students that I taught. Most of those who were Catholic knew next to nothing about the Faith, and the little that they thought they knew was wrong.

Consider the horror stories that I recounted in Caring Not for the Souls Who Have Been Betrayed to demonstrate how conciliarism has harmed the souls for whom Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ shed every single drop of His Most Precious Blood on the wood of the Holy Cross:

Time and space do not permit a full recitation of the empirical evidence demonstrating how conciliarism has offended God and harmed souls. A few examples from my own personal experience, some of which have been cited on this site before, as well as those told to me by others, who had learned of them firsthand themselves, will suffice for the moment.

There was the student at Nassau Community College in the Spring 1983 Semester who, despite having been through thirteen years of Catholic education, was mystified as to the identify of Judas Iscariot when I mentioned him in a class lecture.

There was the student at the C. W. Post Campus of Long Island University in the Fall 1995 Semester who, despite having been through thirteen years of Catholic education, had never heard of Original Sin and Adam and Eve's Fall from Grace in the Garden of Eden.

[Just a bit more information on the first two examples:

[The student from the C. W. Post Campus of Long Island University, a young man named Anthony, who had been to thirteen years of "Catholic" education (Kindergarten through Twelfth Grade), blurted out in amazement when I was lecturing on First and Last Things in an Introduction to Political Science course at the C. W. Post Campus of Long Island University that Fall 1995 Semester, "Is this what the Faith is about? Why hasn't anyone taught this to me before." "Because Anthony," I explained to him, "you have been the victim of Catholic educational fraud." And this harkened back to that earnest young student at Nassau Community College in the Spring 1983 Semester who was a product of Catholic education and asked "Who's Judas?" when I mentioned the name of the betrayer of Our Lord in a class lecture just about twenty-five years ago now. "Perhaps the bishops and priests and nuns responsible for your training," I told her.]

There are the countless numbers of fallen away Catholics, just ordinary people who are being led by the current of events rather than by the truths of the true Faith, we meet in our extensive travels who tell us that they were told by "priests" that one religion is a good as another.

There are the vocations directors, both of dioceses and religious communities, I dealt with in the 1970s who told me that the call to the priesthood comes from the "community," not from a bishop or a religious superior as a representative of God Himself, and that a man's ordination to the priesthood is ratified by the "applause of the community."

There was the priest in the Diocese of Rockville Centre, Monsignor Thomas Gallagher, who said from the pulpit at a Novus Ordo daily Mass during Lent of 1994 who said the following: "All you have to do is to believe in a few articles of the Creed. Everything else is up for grabs."

There are the countless numbers of students who told me that they had been taught that Our Lord is present only symbolically, not actually, in the Blessed Sacrament. (We will leave aside the fact that Our Lord is not present in the Novus Ordo service because of its inherent invalidity.)

There was the priest, Monsignor Frederick Schaefer, now deceased, who told me in the Confessional at Saint Brigid's Church in Westbury, New York, in the Fall of 1980 that one cannot sin unless one's "fundamental option is against God."

There was the priest in the Diocese of Rockville Centre, who shall remain nameless, who said from the pulpit of a North Shore parish in the Spring of 1981 that his Scripture professor at Immaculate Conception Seminary in Huntington, New York, had said that one would have seen "nothing" if a video camera had been placed in front of Our Lord's tomb from the time it was sealed until after Easter Sunday, denying the Resurrection.

There was the priest in the Diocese of Rockville Centre, Monsignor John Martin, then the pastor of Saint Killian's Church in Farmingdale, New York, who told a lay woman about ten years ago that "He did not rise, He did not rise" when questioned about his belief in the actual, bodily Resurrection of Our Lord after an "adult education" course he had given.

There was the priest at Holy Apostles Seminary, a Father Anderson, who in 1981 denied the Perpetual Virginity of Our Lady, prompting the late Father John Joseph "Jackie Boy" Sullivan, then sixty-five years of age, to beat him up with his fists.

There was the priest in the Diocese of Rockville Centre, Father Robert Hayden, who said from the pulpit at Saint Dominic's Church in Oyster Bay, New York, in 1988 that "moral standards" are established "by the community."

There was the priest in the Diocese of Allentown, whose name I do not recall, who said on the Feast of the Assumption in 1980 the following: "Where are we going? We're all going to Heaven, of course!"

There is the priest in the Diocese of Rockville Centre, Monsignor Frank Gaeta, who wrote a tract of Lenten "reflections" in 1994 in which he stated the following: "Make no mistake about it. Judas Iscariot is in Heaven." He finished that reflection with the following invocation, "St. Judas, pray for us."

There are the countless number of parishes that have demonstrated themselves to be "open" to those who are engaged in continuous, unrepentant acts of perversity in violation o the Sixth and Ninth Commandments.

There are the countless number of horror stories that have been told to me by parents about how their children have been spiritually molested by means of graphic classroom instruction in matters pertaining to the Sixth and Ninth Commandments.

There is the former student of mine from Saint Francis College in Brooklyn, New York, during the 1985-1986 academic year who told me just yesterday that his twelve year-old son was told last year in a "Catholic" school in Staten Island, New York, that "Jesus is a sinner."

There is the story told to me by His Excellency Bishop Daniel Dolan on Thursday, June 6, 2007, the Feast of Corpus Christi, of a teacher in a "Catholic" school in New Jersey who said that Hell does not exist, something His Excellency had learned from recent refugees from the Novus Ordo who are moving from New Jersey to West Chester, Ohio.

There are the priests I have heard with my own ears voicing their support for contraception and abortion, making excuses also for pro-abortion Catholics in public life.

There was the former student of mine from Saint John's University in Jamaica, New York, who told me the heartbreaking story in 1988 that a Vincentian priest told her that it was "her decision" as to whether or not to kill her preborn baby. She told her husband of that counsel and they "decided" to kill their child, coming to regret it later.

There are the times when I have had to investigate conciliar "bishops" for their betrayals of the Faith, including those who sat by as what was said to be Eucharistic Adoration was denied to Catholics by their own "priests," and for their own perverse immorality, none of which mattered to conciliar Rome until the filing of lawsuits and the taking of depositions was about to begin. Men known for tolerating the grossest spiritual abuses of the young were kept in power by conciliar Rome to commit the grossest of physical abuses of the young.

There are the countless times I have witnessed the sort of "ecumenical" gatherings that have placed the true Faith on a level of equality with false religions.

There are the countless numbers of sacrileges I have witnessed at the Novus Ordo service, many of which were chronicled during my years with The Wanderer and in my G.I.R.M. Warfare. "Rock" Masses. "Clown" Masses. "Folk" Masses. "Polka" Masses. Liturgical "dance." Priests saying the second part of the "Eucharistic Prayer" in the nave of the Church while leaving what they believe to be the Real Presence of the God-Man on the Cranmer table. Improvised prayers, many of which are permitted by the General Instruction to the Roman Missal, especially during what is known in the new order of things as the "Penitential Rite." The proliferation of the laity in the sanctuary. What are believed to be consecrated Hosts strewn about churches as a result of the sacrilege of Communion in the hand.

This litany could go on ad infinitum. Those who want to close their eyes to the significance of this empirical evidence must convince themselves (and others) that these things are aberrations of the past forty years and not the actual, inevitable consequences of the ethos engendered by conciliarism and the abominations and novelties, both of the "approved" and "unapproved" varieties, that exist in the counterfeit church of conciliarism. Although the situation gets worse and worse with each passing year and decade, we are assured by these omniscient enablers that all will be fine soon enough one day. It is thus rash, they assert, to draw any negative conclusions about conciliarism as a result of these empirical facts leaving aside, at least for the moment, the deeper theological issues that prove the counterfeit nature of conciliarism and the illegitimacy of its false shepherds.

Not persuasive enough for you? Well, consider the empirical results of a new poll released by a consulting organization called Public Religion Research:

Washington DC, Oct 8, 2008 / 11:48 pm (CNA).- A new poll of Americans ages 18-34 has surveyed the faith, politics, and issue positions of young adults before the 2008 election. The poll claims about 60 percent of younger self-identified Catholics say abortion should be legal in all or most cases, while 44 percent reportedly support same-sex marriage, a number which rises to 64 percent when religious liberty protections are emphasized.

The claims come from the Faith in Public Life’s “The Faith and American Politics Survey,” which was conducted by Public Religion Research between August 28 and September 19. Polling 2,000 American adults and an over sample of 1,250 younger adults, its methods included both land line and cell phone interviews.

Overall, 44 percent of Catholics said abortion should be illegal in all or most cases, while 54 percent said it should not. About 61 percent of young Catholics reported it was not a very important voting issue, compared to 56 percent of Catholics 35 years and older.

As a whole, 30 percent of Catholics agreed that “gay couples should be allowed to marry,” rising to 47 percent when the question is framed by the insistence that “no church or congregation would be required to perform marriages for gay couples.”

Only 26 percent of young Catholics said they favored no legal recognition for same-sex couples, compared to 32 percent of those 35 years old and up. About 22 percent of young Catholics considered it a very important voting issue, compared with 27 percent of those 35 and older.

Respondents were also asked what they heard talked about in church. Among all Catholics, 90 percent said they have heard about hunger and poverty while 78 percent claimed to have heard about abortion and 37 percent claimed to have heard about homosexuality. About 33 percent said they heard about immigration while 58 percent said they had heard about the war in Iraq and 54 percent said they heard about the environment at church.

On the issue of torture, about 54 percent of Catholic survey respondents initially reported they opposed torture. When framed by the survey’s “Golden Rule” argument against torture, which states “the U.S. government should not use methods against our enemies that we would not want used on American soldiers,” this opposition rose to 62 percent.

Turning to the presidential election, the poll shows overall voters who attend religious services once or twice a month support Obama at a rate of 60 percent. The same group showed 49 percent support for John Kerry in 2004. Catholics aged 35 and older are split between McCain and Obama 46 percent to 44 percent, but Obama leads McCain among younger Catholics 55 to 40 percent.

Overall, 49 percent of voters think Obama is friendly towards religion, while only 45 percent say the same of McCain.

Commentators on the poll tried to depict its results as showing the end of the “culture wars.”

“Younger Americans, including younger Americans of faith, are not the culture war generation,” claimed said Dr. Robert Jones, President of Public Religion Research and lead analyst of the poll. In his view, they are “bridging the divides that entrenched their elders and ushering in an era of consensus in which the common good trumps the clash of ideologies.”

Katie Paris, Director of Communications Strategy at Faith in Public Life, agreed.

“Expect to see the dividing lines of the culture wars continue to fade,” she asserted.

Kristin Williams of the Faith in Public Life Institute provided CNA with Dr. Robert Jones’ more detailed statistical breakdowns of the Catholic respondents.

Of Catholics ages 18-34, 28 percent reported attending church once a week, while 22 percent said they attend once or twice a month. Another 27 percent reported attending a few times a year, while 17 percent said they seldom or never attend church. Six percent reported attending church more than once a week.

Among all registered voters the church attendance rate was somewhat different with 18 percent reporting that they attend religious services more than once a week and 27 percent saying they attend once a week. About 15 percent attended once or twice a month, 16 percent attended a few times each year, while 23 percent seldom or never attend services.

Among all age ranges of Catholic registered voters, 10 percent reported attending religious services more than once a week while 36 percent reported attending once a week. Eighteen percent of Catholics reported attending once or twice a month, while equal percentages each reported attending a few times a year or seldom or never. (Poll: 60% of 'Catholic' youth favor legal abortion, nearly half okay with 'gay' marriage, linked by The Novus Ordo Files News Archive and Analysis - Novus Ordo Watch.)

I restate the questions that I posed eight months ago now in Movements to a Dead End, Now and for All Eternity concerning the source of a future groundswell for a "libertarian" or a "conservative" naturalist in the 2012 presidential sweepstakes, which begin on the evening of November 4, 2008:

There is no electoral means to retard the natural, logical, inexorable degeneration of a nation founded on false premises. There is no electoral means to retard the embrace of the most extreme forces of the "leftist" brand of naturalism by the counterfeit church of conciliarism, whose apostasies have produced "Catholics" ignorant of the Faith and almost totally supportive of all manner of moral evils.

We live in A World of Sisyphuses where all manner of perfectly well-intentioned people keep being rolled over by that giant boulder because they fail to look at the underlying premises of their actions in order to recognize and accept the simple fact of the impossibility of what it is they are attempting to achieve. It is impossible to "save" a nation by the use of the ballot box. Impossible. This is not a "center-right" nation as so many have been saying of late. This is a religiously indifferentist nation steeped in the errors of Modernity that have been unleashed by the overthrow of the Social Reign of Christ the King wrought by the Protestant Revolt and the rise of Judeo-Masonry.

A substantial and stable majority of voters will embrace, not reject, "President" Barack Hussein Obama's statist measures just as a previous substantial and stable majority voters embraced Franklin Roosevelt's statist "New Deal." After all, it was the "conservative" Republican Party that made its peace with "conservative" statism during the administration of President George Walker Bush and that nominated John Sidney McCain III in its winner-take-all primary system. (Oh, have you noticed? McCain is now campaigning only in those states that George Walker Bush won in 2004 in his re-election contest. Anyone who thinks that a vote for McCain in states such as New York and California and Illinois and New Jersey and Rhode Island and Massachusetts and Maryland and Vermont and Connecticut is a vote to keep Barack Hussein Obama out of the White House has lost touch with reality, and that's putting the matter most charitably. McCain is making the Bob Dole campaign in 1996 look good by comparison.) The drift of the United States of America in the direction of Marxism is real, not apparent. And it is the result, at least proximately, of the twin forces of Modernity in the world and Modernism in the counterfeit church of conciliarism.

The antidote to all of this: to pray and to work for the restoration of Christendom as the fruit of the Triumph of the Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary.

Pope Saint Pius X explained in Notre Charge Apostolique, August 15, 1910, that there is only one way to reform society for the better:

For there is no true civilization without a moral civilization, and no true moral civilization without the true religion: it is a proven truth, a historical fact.

Naturalism is designed by the devil to convince fallen man that he can, without submitting himself to the Deposit of Faith that Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ has entrusted exclusively to the Catholic Church for Its infallible explication and eternal safekeeping and without having belief in, access to and cooperation with Sanctifying Grace, change "things" for the "better." Some naturalists even invoke the name of "God," doing so generically. Some invoke the very Holy Name of Jesus Christ in various allocutions and speeches. No one, however, truly knows Who God is unless he accepts what He has revealed about Himself through the Catholic Church. No one knows Our Lord or His teaching truly unless he is a believing Catholic. No one can aspire to true change, that within his immortal soul, without the supernatural helps provided by the Catholic Church.

You want to believe otherwise and act accordingly? Go right ahead. I refuse to spin my wheels on lost causes and movements that are dead ends precisely because they are naturalistic traps from the devil and lead nations into chaos and souls into Hell for all eternity. I, a terrible sinner in need of making much reparation before I die to the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus through the Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary for my many sins, will continue to attempt to help the very few people who read this site to view the world and everything that happens in it through the eyes of the true Faith as I exhort these readers to have nothing at all to do with the counterfeit church of conciliarism, whose "reconciliation" with the false principles of Modernity has confused souls and thus consigned nations into an abyss of woe.

Our refuge in this time of chastisement, which is so very similar to that which befell France one hundred years after the refusal of King Louis XIV and the French bishops to consecrated the entirety of France to the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus according to the express command of Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ as He made it manifest to Saint Margaret Mary Alacoque, must be our total consecration to Our Lord through His Most Blessed Mother's Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart. We need our Blessed Mother's help. Only she can help us, and to this end we need to organize more and more public Rosary processions in honor of her Fatima Message and to make reparation for our own sins and those of our nation as we pray for the conversion of the nation and as we take seriously these words of Pope Pius XI, contained in Quas Primas, December 25, 1925:

We firmly hope, however, that the feast of the Kingship of Christ, which in future will be yearly observed, may hasten the return of society to our loving Savior. It would be the duty of Catholics to do all they can to bring about this happy result. Many of these, however, have neither the station in society nor the authority which should belong to those who bear the torch of truth. This state of things may perhaps be attributed to a certain slowness and timidity in good people, who are reluctant to engage in conflict or oppose but a weak resistance; thus the enemies of the Church become bolder in their attacks. But if the faithful were generally to understand that it behooves them ever to fight courageously under the banner of Christ their King, then, fired with apostolic zeal, they would strive to win over to their Lord those hearts that are bitter and estranged from him, and would valiantly defend his rights.

Moreover, the annual and universal celebration of the feast of the Kingship of Christ will draw attention to the evils which anticlericalism has brought upon society in drawing men away from Christ, and will also do much to remedy them. While nations insult the beloved name of our Redeemer by suppressing all mention of it in their conferences and parliaments, we must all the more loudly proclaim his kingly dignity and power, all the more universally affirm his rights.

Yes, we must the more loudly proclaim His Kingly dignity and power, all the more universally affirm His rights?

To this end, my friends, we protect ourselves with the Brown Scapular and the Miraculous Medal as we pray as many Rosaries each day as possible in our homes that are enthroned to the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary. We must not see the fruits in our own lifetimes. We may even have to suffer greatly. The reward is Heavenly.

What are we waiting for?

Viva Cristo Rey! Vivat Christus Rex!
