Just Another Ordinary Outrage Permitted By A Conciliar "Ordinary"

by Thomas A. Droleskey

Another ordinary outrage in the life of the counterfeit church of conciliarism was permitted to take place yesterday, Thursday, March 31, 2011, at the Church of Saint Vincent Ferrer in the Borough of Manhattan in the City of New York, New York, by the conciliar "ordinary" of the Archdiocese of New York, Timothy "I aim to be a happy bishop" Dolan. What happened at the Church of Saint Vincent Ferrer, a saint whose feast we commemorate this Tuesday, April 5, 2011, is quite ordinary.

Indeed, Spotlight On The Ordinary, which I suggest to be re-read as it goes into more detail than does this article concerning the ordinary ways by which God is offended by conciliar "ordinaries," was written to demonstrate that the high honors accorded the late United States Senator Edward Moore Kennedy at the Basilica of Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Boston, Massachusetts, on Saturday, August 29, 2009, the Feast of the Beheading of Saint John the Baptist, during the late senator's Novus Ordo's "Mass of Christian Burial" are nothing out of the ordinary, that one Catholic pro-abort in public life after another (Thomas P. O'Neill, William Brennan, Edward Speno, Daniel Patrick Moynihan, Father Robert Drinan, et al.) retained their "good standing" in the structures of the counterfeit church of conciliarism to the point of their very deaths despite having been unrepentant in their support for chemical and surgical baby-killing until the point of their deaths (see "Lucky" Mario May Not Be So "Lucky" In The End).

As noted in To Fall Into The Hands of the Living God five days ago now, the late United States Representative Geraldine Anne Ferraro-Zaccaro, D-New York, has now joined the pantheon of dead pro-abort Catholics in public life who were permitted retain their "good standing" in the structures of the false church of conciliarism during their lives while being eulogized profusely in a supposed "Mass" in full violation of conciliarism's official ban on the delivery of such eulogies:

In vivid testimonials from some of the most visible politicians in the country, Geraldine A. Ferraro was recalled on Thursday as a pioneer with “true grit” and a sense of humor who blazed a trail for future generations of women.

“Gerry and I are often linked together,” said Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton, who, like her husband, spoke at a funeral service for Ms. Ferraro, the former Democratic vice-presidential candidate and congresswoman from Queens. “She is seen correctly as paving the way for my political career and those of many other women. We owe her so much. She inspired us women and girls. All of us thought new thoughts and imagined new possibilities because of Gerry.”

Former Vice President Walter F. Mondale said that after Ms. Ferraro became his running mate in the 1984 presidential race, making her the first female candidate for vice president from a major party, she suggested that it might help if he “treated her as if she were a male, white-haired senator from Texas.”

Mr. Mondale said that the path Ms. Ferraro took was not an easy one. During a vice-presidential debate, “George Bush offered to explain to her foreign policy,” Mr. Mondale recalled. “Every day, she was patronized in a way not experienced by male candidates. If they ever make another movie about true grit, it should be about Gerry.”

The service for Ms. Ferraro, who died Saturday at age 75 after a long battle with cancer, took place on an overcast day at the Church of St. Vincent Ferrer, at Lexington Avenue and 66th Street, where Ms. Ferraro married John Zaccaro in 1960. Amid the presence of many dignitaries, including members of the Democratic Party’s old guard, the ritual proceeded smoothly as mourners, many carrying umbrellas in the light rain, ascended the church’s stairs and the service began.

Speakers at the service, which lasted more than two hours, referred repeatedly to the 1984 Democratic National Convention in San Francisco, when Ms. Ferraro took the stage and said: “My name is Geraldine Ferraro. I stand before you to proclaim tonight: America is the land where dreams can come true.”

Former Secretary of State Madeleine K. Albright recalled “those huge crowds of mothers and fathers who held up their daughters to see her” on the ’84 campaign trail. Mrs. Clinton said that she and her husband were just such a family, having their daughter, Chelsea, then 4, bring a flower for Ms. Ferraro when she visited Little Rock, Ark.

The Roman Catholic Mass was infused with a sense of family, given the presence of Ms. Ferraro’s three children, all of whom spoke, and eight grandchildren, three of whom offered readings during the service. The public officials present greeted one another warmly, and shook hands to wish each other well during the service’s Rite of Peace.

Speakers at the service referred to the increase in the number of women in elected office since Ms. Ferraro’s run for vice president.

There were two women in the Senate when Ms. Ferraro became the vice-presidential candidate, Mr. Mondale said; there are 17 now, along with 77 in the House, 6 governors and 1,700 state legislators.

Ms. Ferraro’s candidacy “took down the men-only sign at the White House,” said Senator Barbara A. Mikulski, a Maryland Democrat. “Gerry was a force of nature, a powerhouse. She did change the way we women thought about ourselves in American politics.”

Others at the service included Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg; Senator Charles E. Schumer; Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo; former Gov. Mario M. Cuomo; Christine C. Quinn, the City Council speaker; and Representative Carolyn B. Maloney of New York, who on Ms. Ferraro’s 75th birthday last August renamed a post office after her in Queens.

Many of those at the church had been in the same pews last year, when Ms. Ferraro and Mr. Zaccaro renewed their vows after 50 years of what several speakers described as an unusually strong bond. “It was their relationship that showed us the true meaning of marriage,” said Ms. Ferraro’s son, John Zaccaro Jr.

All of her children talked about their mother’s commitment to public service. “By her words and actions, she was our model for how to live in the world,” said Donna Zaccaro Ullman.

“In their homes tonight,” former President Bill Clinton said, “there are children — little girls and also little boys — who will be just a little closer to having their shot at Gerry Ferraro’s dream because she lived.” (At Funeral, Ferraro Hailed as Inspiration.)

The "happy bishop," Timothy Dolan, permitted this ordinary outrage in the life of the counterfeit church of conciliarism. After all, Geraldine Anne Ferraro-Zaccaro was a "ground breaker" in behalf of "women's rights." So what if the late Mrs. Ferraro-Zaccaro's supposedly "ground-breaking" efforts included the nonexistent "right" of women to butcher their innocent preborn babies under cover of the civil law? It's important to celebrate the "moment" and to "console" the family as well-wishers get an opportunity to explain Mrs. Ferraro-Zaccaro's "contributions" to public life and to the cause of "women's rights," right?

Wrong.

Timothy Dolan stands in his own kind of pantheon for permitting this outrage to take place, the pantheon of conciliar "cardinals" and "bishops" and "priests" who have permitted God to offended greatly by refusing to discipline Catholic pro-aborts in public life while they were alive and by permitting great honors to be accorded to them after their deaths. This is a pantheon of apostasy and betrayal.

Not to be overlooked, of course, is the fact that each of the public officials who were permitted to eulogize Geraldine Anne Ferraro-Zaccaro yesterday are unrepentant pro-aborts in their own wretched right. Admitting that the sanctuary of the Church of Saint Vincent Ferrer is a place where profanation takes place every day as the abominable Novus Ordo service is staged as a hideous offense to the honor and majesty and glory of God, Timothy Dolan is personally responsible for permitting the further profantion of what he thinks is a sanctuary in a Catholic church by looking the other way as men and women who are committed to the mystical destruction of Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ in the persons of innocent preborn babies took their turn to praise one of their fellow pro-aborts, Geraldine Anne Ferraro-Zaccaro.

Timothy Dolan has no love of God or regard for His greater honor and glory and majesty. His regard is for human respect, for good press, for not being the "meanie" or appearing to be "anti-woman" by preventing this outrage from taking place under the auspices of what he believes, albeit falsely, to be the Catholic Church. Then again, Timothy Dolan is the man who blasphemed God quite directly when he said the following prior to the annual Judeo-Masonic holiday known as Thanksgiving Day:

Thanksgiving is a time of the year when people are open to the Lord, and we don't think about ourselves. We're grateful to God. We're conscious that somebody, some call him or her, whatever you want, somebody beyond us is in charge, and we are immensely grateful. (Is 'Superman' Catholic?)

Whatever You Want? Read the article as there is no need to repeat here what I wrote exactly four months ago today.

Some readers might be quick to point out that Timothy Dolan is not alone, that the conciliar "pope" and his "cardinals" and "bishops" and "priests" offend God all of the time by means of staging the hideous abomination that is the Protestant and Masonic Novus Ordo service on a daily basis as they promote the heresies and errors and falsehoods of conciliarism with ready abandon, going so far as to speak of how false religions can "contribute" to the building of a "better" world (see today's other brief article, Vesakh, Not Miller, Time at the Vatican).

Sure. Of course. I agree. Yes. Absolutely.

The fact needs to be stressed that what Timothy Dolan permitted to take place at the Church of Saint Vincent Ferrer yesterday is indeed quite ordinary in the counterfeit church of conciliarism, however, does not make the offense given to God there as what purported to be a Catholic funeral liturgy was accorded a woman who was unrepentantly supportive of the "right" of women to kill their children under the cover of the civil law as she was praised by a succession of eulogizers any the less significant.

We must remember, though, that Timothy Dolan is in the business of offending God and thus of offending truth.

It was shortly after his "installation" as the conciliar "archbishop" of New York nearly two years ago now that Timothy Dolan said the following about the completely pro-abortion, pro-perversity Talmudic organization that goes by the name of the Anti-Defamation League B'Nai Brith:

"This is awesome for me," Archbishop Dolan said.  "I have long admired the work of the Anti-Defamation League from afar, and now to receive your welcome and your assurances of our hope for future cooperation, which I enthusiastically share, means very much to me." (Press Release of the Anti-Defamation League.)

Let me post again what I wrote at the time nearly two years ago now:

"I have long admired the work of the Anti-Defamation League from afar, and now to receive your welcome and your assurances of our hope for future cooperation, which I enthusiastically share, means very much to me." "Happy 'Bishop'" Dolan, you are are apostate, reflecting, of course, the apostasy of conciliarism itself, which has its apostate apologist-in-chief, Joseph Ratzinger/Benedict XVI, elevate men like Timothy Dolan while keeping silent for over two weeks (and counting) about the hideous blasphemy of Robert Zollitsch that even goes beyond the approved apostasies of conciliarism.

"I have long admired the work of the Anti-Defamation League from afar, and now to receive your welcome and your assurances of our hope for future cooperation, which I enthusiastically share, means very much to me." Here, "Happy 'Bishop'" Dolan, is some of the fruit of the "work" of the Anti-Defamation League, as found in  Continuing to Knight Infidels, which was published on this site originally on August 29, 2007:

Doubters out there should consider the hard evidence that proves this point. Consider the amicus curiae (friend of the court) briefs filed by the Anti-Defamation League in the case of Ayotte v. Planned Parenthood of Northern New England to oppose the constitutionality of the New Hampshire Parental Notification Act. Here is a summary of the brief, followed by the first few paragraphs of the actual brief filed with the Supreme Court of the United States:

Ayotte v. Planned Parenthood of Northern New England, et al. (2005) This Supreme Court case involves the constitutionality of The New Hampshire Parental Notification Prior to Abortion Act. The Act prohibits abortions for minors unless the parents have been notified, but provides exceptions for abortions necessary to prevent death and for minors who have obtained a judicial declaration that they are mature enough to make a decision concerning abortion. The First Circuit Court of Appeals previously ruled that the Act was unconstitutional because it does not include a health exception and the death exception is too narrow. ADL, together with 41 other religious and religiously affiliated organizations, joined a brief authored by the Religious Coalition for Reproductive Choice. The brief argued, among other things, that in emergency situations, the Act unconstitutionally threatens the health and lives of young women, and undermines their right to choose an abortion in accordance with religious faiths that place great value on women’s health and lives. The variety of religious beliefs about abortion underscores the importance of maintaining a private sphere– free from undue government interference – in which women, including minors, can make choices to protect their own lives and health in accordance with their faiths. Although parental guidance in young women’s major life decisions, including whether to end a pregnancy, is important, state-mandated parental involvement can sometimes harm the minor, such as where the family is dysfunctional or where an emergency situation requires immediate action.

Amici are religious organizations and religiously affiliated organizations dedicated to preserving religious freedom for all persons and to protecting a woman’s health and right to carry or terminate her pregnancy in accordance with her religion and values.1 The statements of interest provided by amici, included in Appendix B to this brief, demonstrate their shared interest (from different perspectives) in the right of women of all ages to make reproductive choices in accordance with their individual conscience and free from governmental interference. A full listing of the forty-two (42) organizations signing this brief as amici curiae appears in Appendix A.

Because amici value life and health, and recognize the many divergent theological perspectives regarding abortion, amici agree that all women whose health is at risk should be free to seek the best available medical advice, without governmental coercion or constraint, in making the difficult decision whether to terminate a pregnancy. Adherence to these principles compels amici to support Respondents in this case.

Because amici, cherish human life and health as among their most important values. Many of these religions hold that it is morally appropriate for women of all ages to consider – in accordance with their faiths – the threat to their lives or health in deciding whether to terminate a pregnancy. The New Hampshire Parental Notification Prior to Abortion Act, N.H.Rev. Stat. Ann. §§ 132:24-132:28 (Supp. 2004) (the “New Hampshire Act” or the “Act”), lacks a health exception and an adequate life exception, as required by this Court’s precedents. In emergency medical situations, the Act unconstitutionally threatens the health and lives of young women, and undermines their right to choose an abortion in accordance with religious faiths that place great value on women’s health and lives.

The religious component of the rights of privacy and of reproductive choice have been repeatedly recognized in this Court’s opinions, including in cases as early as Pierce v. Society of Sisters, 268 U.S. 510 (1925), and as recent as Planned Parenthood of Southeastern Pennsylvania v. Casey, 505 U.S. 833 (1992). Many Americans reflect upon their religious beliefs and moral principles when making important private decisions about family, marriage, and procreation. The variety of religious teachings and beliefs about abortion underscores the importance of maintaining a private sphere – free from undue government interference – in which women can make choices to protect their own lives and health in accordance with their faiths and their consciences. This private sphere extends to minor women who are faced with pregnancies that threaten their lives and health. Although amici support and encourage parental guidance in young women’s major life decisions, including whether to end a pregnancy, they recognize that state-mandated parental involvement can sometimes harm the minor, such as where the family is dysfunctional or where an emergency medical situation requires immediate action. The Constitution protects minors from such threats to their lives, health, and religious beliefs.

No one associated with an organization responsible for such a legal brief should be given any earthly awards or honors, least of all those that carry with the title of "papal knighthood," of all things. The Catholic Church used to denounce the efforts of Catholic-hating naturalists to fill the world all manner of social poisons, seeking to pray for the conversion of such people to her maternal bosom. The counterfeit church of conciliarism rewards those who are associated closely with organizations dedicated to the spread of social evils and who do not want the Holy Name of the Divine Redeemer uttered publicly, something that one conciliar prelate after another has more that accommodated himself to by refusing to mention that Holy Name of Jesus Christ in public with the adherents of the Talmud present.

Want more proof of the Anti-Defamation League's support for baby-killing under cover of law? Well, here is a press release from their own site, issued following the decision of the Supreme Court of the United States in Gonzales v. Carhart, which was not a"pro-life victory (see An Illusion of a Victory), on April 19, 2007:

ADL Disappointed With Supreme Court Ruling On Partial Birth Abortion Act

New York, NY, April 19, 2007 … The Anti-Defamation League (ADL) issued the following statement expressing its disappointment at the Supreme Court's ruling upholding the federal Partial Birth Abortion Act:

We are deeply troubled by the ramifications of the Supreme Court's ruling on abortion.  By upholding, for the first time, an abortion statute which contains no exception for the health of the woman, the Supreme Court has undermined a woman's right to choose and to act in accordance with her conscience and the dictates of her faith.

We continue to believe that Americans should have the freedom to make difficult decisions of conscience and health without government interference.

ADL joined an amicus brief in the case filed by the Religious Coalition for Reproductive Rights.

"I have long admired the work of the Anti-Defamation League from afar, and now to receive your welcome and your assurances of our hope for future cooperation, which I enthusiastically share, means very much to me"?

Do you still stand by this absurd statement that is an insult to the Deposit of Faith that Our Blessed Lord and Saviour entrusted exclusively to His Catholic Church for Its eternal safekeeping and infallible explication, "Archbishop" Dolan? Do you have any trace of a sensus Catholicus left in you to raise yourself like a Catholic man and to even take public note of the work of the Anti-Defamation League to undermine the binding precepts of the Divine Positive Law and the Natural Law, no less to denounce firmly and unequivocally this wretched work that is from the devil himself? (Silence.)

Timothy Dolan, the man who praised the work of the pro-abortion, pro-perversity Anti-Defamation League of B'Nai Brith, permitted numerous people yesterday to praise the life's work of the pro-abortion Geraldine Anne Ferraro-Zaccaro, who was no "ground breaker" for women who desire to save their souls as members of the Catholic Church by dissenting from nothing contained in the binding precepts of the Divine Positive Law and the Natural Law, women who would never dream of uttering a word that would give the impression that other human beings have the right to kill innocent human beings with the "blessing" of the civil law. Catholic women who want to save their immortal souls as members of the Catholic Church want to imitate perfectly the virtues of the exemplar of true femininity, Our Lady, who is the New Eve, she whose act of obedience to the will of God the Father untied the knot of Eve's prideful disobedience in the Garden of Eden.

Geraldine Anne Ferraro-Zaccaro and other Catholic women in public life who have been unrepentant supporters of the chemical and surgical assassination of innocent preborn babies have exhibited only the "ground-breaking" spirit of Eve herself by defying the laws of God openly and thus becoming accessories to the commission of the one of the four sins that cry out to Heaven for vengeance. This is the truth of the public life of Geraldine Anne-Ferraro and the likes of Barbara Mikulski, who spoke at that travesty yesterday, and so many others (Susan Collins, Kathleen Kennedy Townsend, Debbie Stebenow, Kathleen Sebelius, Jennifer Granholm, Patricia Murray, Janet Reno, Donna Shalala, Carol Mosely Braun, who is a baptized Catholic who became an "Episcopalian," and Sonia Sotomayor, another non-practicing Catholic apostate, among so many others). These women are to be condemned for their support of baby-killing. The Catholic Church would discipline them in life and deny them any honors or privileges after death, including a Requiem Mass.

Such is, once again, my good and very few readers, yet another difference between Catholicism and conciliarism. Why is this so difficult to understand?

Timothy Dolan would rather die a thousand deaths than to reiterate these words of Pope Pius XI as applying directly and unequivocally to the "ground-breaking" work of Geraldine Anne Ferraro-Zaccaro:

Those who hold the reins of government should not forget that it is the duty of public authority by appropriate laws and sanctions to defend the lives of the innocent, and this all the more so since those whose lives are endangered and assailed cannot defend themselves. Among whom we must mention in the first place infants hidden in the mother's womb. And if the public magistrates not only do not defend them, but by their laws and ordinances betray them to death at the hands of doctors or of others, let them remember that God is the Judge and Avenger of innocent blood which cried from earth to Heaven. (Pope Pius XI, Casti Connubii, December 31, 1930.)

Timothy Dolan is Still Trying to Make Everyone Happy Except God Himself, doing so at the peril of the loss of his own immortal soul for all eternity.

Strong words? Let me reiterate what I wrote nineteen months ago, therefore.

The hour, however, is very late. We see sacrilege after sacrilege being committed by Joseph Ratzinger/Benedict XVI and his "bishops." Travesties are part of the ordinary life of the counterfeit church of conciliarism. People yet sit and wait to "see" if there is some "sign" that the conciliar "popes" have been legitimate. They wait to see if the "excesses" of the "Second" Vatican Council can be "corrected."

How many people understood on Good Friday the horror of what was happening to God Himself in the Flesh? How many people just sat and watched? the horrors that our sins imposed upon our Divine Redeemer without being at all moved? Isn't it the same today as Our Lord's Mystical Body, the Church Militant on earth, is torn asunder by the sacrileges and apostasies and travesties of conciliarism? People just sit and watch as they wait for a "sign."

Consider this vision of Venerable Mary of Agreda describing the tortures that our sins imposed upon the God-Man, tortures that did not move the hearts of those watching them being imposed to conversion:

Presently one of the executioners seized the hand of Jesus our Savior and placed it upon the auger-hole, while another hammered a large and rough nail through the palm. The veins and sinews were torn, and the bones of the sacred hand, which made the heavens and ll that exists, were forced apart. When they stretched out the other hand, they found that it did not reach up to the auger-hole; for the sinews of the other arm had been shortened and the executioners had maliciously set the holes too far apart, as I have mentioned above. In order to overcome the difficulty, they took the chain, with which our Savior had been bound in the garden, and looping one end through a ring around his wrist, they, with unheard of cruelty, pulled the hand over the hole and fastened it with another nail. Thereupon they seized his feet, and placing them one above the other, they tied the same chain around both and stretched them with barbarous ferocity down to the third hole. Then they drove through both feet a large nail into the Cross. Thus the sacred body, in which dwelled the Divinity, was nailed motionless to the holy Cross, and the handiwork of his deified members, formed by the Holy Ghost, was so stretched and torn asunder, that the bones of his body, dislocated and forced from their natural position, could all be counted. The bones of his breast, of his shoulders and arms, and of his whole body yielded to the cruel violence and were torn from their sinews.

Then they dragged the lower end of the Cross with the crucified God near to the hole, wherein it was to be planted. Some of them getting under the upper part of the Cross with their shoulders, other pushing upward with their halberds and lances, they raised the Savior on his Cross and fastened its foot in the hole the had drilled into the ground. Thus our true life and salvation now hung in the air upon the sacred wood in full view of the innumerable multitudes of different nations and countries. I must not omit mentioning another barbarity inflicted upon the Lord as they raised Him: for some of them placed the sharp points of their lances and halberds to his body and fearfully lacerating Him under the armpits in helping to push the Cross into position. At this spectacle new cries of protest arose with still more vehemence and confusion from the multitude of people. The Jews blasphemed, the kind-hearted lamented, the strangers were astounded, some of them called the attention of bystanders to the proceedings, others turned away their heads in horror and pity; others took to themselves a warning from this spectacle of suffering, and still others proclaimed Him a just Man. All these different sentiments were like arrows piercing the heart of the afflicted Mother. The sacred body now opened up, to which Isaias invites us to hasten with joy to quench our thirst and wash off the stains of our sins (Is. 12, 3). No one shall be excused who does not quickly approach to drink of them. (Venerable Mary of Agreda, A Popular Abridgement of the Mystical City of God, pp. 556-557.)

People watched and waited on Good Friday as they saw the horrors that our sins caused Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ to suffer in His Sacred Humanity and that caused Our Lady's Immaculate Heart to be pierced through and through with the Fourth through Seventh Swords of Sorrow. People watch and wait today as Our Lord and His Deposit of Faith are mocked in ceremonies that purport to be Catholic. What will it take?

Many of us were, as noted just before, "slackers" who refused to respond to the graces that Our Lady sent to us to see the ordinary, everyday horrors of conciliarism and to flee from them with alacrity. There are those today who continue to be slackers. We must, however, continue to pray for them as we make reparation to the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus through His Most Blessed Mother's Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart for our sins and those of the whole world, praying as many Rosaries each day as our states-in-life permit. We cannot be indifferent to the ordinary, everyday horrors of conciliarism. We cannot have any association with the conciliar robber barons and their falsehoods and travesties and apostasies and sacrileges.

We must always keep uppermost in our minds the fact that this is the time from all eternity that God has willed for us to be alive. The graces that He won for us on the wood of the Holy Cross by the shedding of every single drop of His Most Precious Blood that flow into our hearts and souls through the loving hands of Our Lady, she who is the Mediatrix of All Graces, are sufficient for us to prosper spiritually unto eternity in this time of apostasy and betrayal. The final victory belongs to the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

Although I have cited this quoted from Pope Pius XI's Quas Primas, December 11, 1925, about eighty times on this site, it is worth doing so again:

We may well admire in this wonderful wisdom of the Providence of God, Who, ever bringing good out of evil, has from time to time suffered the faith and piety of men to grow weak, and allowed Catholic truth to be attacked by false doctrines, but always with the result that truth has afterwards shone out with greater splendor, and that men’s faith, aroused from its lethargy, has shown itself more vigorous than before . . . . But if the faithful were generally to understand that it behooves them ever to fight courageously under the banner of Christ their King, then, fired with apostolic zeal, they would strive to win over to their Lord those hearts that are bitter and estranged from Him, and would valiantly defend His rights.
