Enabled and Protected By Her Own "Archbishop"
by Thomas A. Droleskey
The refusal of most of the conciliar "bishops" in the United States of America and elsewhere in the world to discipline pro-abortion Catholics in public life is one of the greatest scandals of the counterfeit church of concilairism. It is indeed absolutely indisputable that hundreds of millions of innocent preborn human beings have been killed under cover of the civil law with the full assistance, support and public promotion offered by "Catholics" who have remained in perfectly "good standing" in the counterfeit church of concilairism nevertheless. Look at all of the praise given to the late pro-abort, pro-perversity Edward Moore Kennedy by conciliar "bishops" upon his death (see Another Victim of Americanism, Behold The Free Rein Given to Error, Unfortunate Enough to Be A Baby, Beacon of Social Justice?, Spotlight On The Ordinary, What's Good For Teddy Is Good For Benny, Sean O'Malley: Coward and Hypocrite, More Rationalizations and Distortions, and Death To Babies: Kennedy's Continued Legacy)
One of those pro-abortion, pro-perversity Catholics in public life who who has been enabled and protected by her conciliar "archbishops" is the Speaker of the United States House of Representatives, Nancy Patricia D'Alesandro Pelosi, who has served in the United States House of Representatives since June 4, 2007. Pelosi has been enabled by three different conciliar "archbishops" of San Francisco, California: Archbishop John Rafael Quinn, "Archbishop" William Levada (now reigning ignominiously as the prefect of the conciliar Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith in the Vatican after protecting perverted priests/presbyters in Portland, Oregon, and San Francisco, California), and George Niederauer, who has been mostly deaf, dumb and blind about Pelosi's unreconstructed support for chemical and surgical baby-killing under cover of the civil laws.
Consider this 2008 concerning the Archdiocese of San Francisco's very cozy relationship with pro-aborts such as Pelosi:
SAN FRANCISCO, April 11, 2008 (LifeSiteNews.com) - The Catholic Archbishop of San Francisco, George Niederauer has announced that he will include a well-known supporter of abortion and Planned Parenthood in his annual diocesan philanthropy award. George M. Marcus, the founder and chairman of the Marcus & Millichap Co., a real estate investment firm, has donated funds to oppose protecting children from abortion, and to support embryonic stem cell research and homosexual "marriage.:
California Catholic Daily reports that in October 2005 Marcus donated $25,000 to the "No" campaign on Proposition 73 that would have required that parents of an underage girl be notified before she has an abortion. He gave a total of $100,000 in 2006 to oppose a similar notification measure, Proposition 85. Both measures were supported by the California bishops Conference.
Marcus also donated $50,000 to the "Yes on 71" campaign that succeeded in seeing $3.5 billion allocated by the government for embryonic stem cell research. In May 2007, Marcus gave $3,600 to the "Mark Leno for Senate" campaign. Every year, Assemblyman Leno sponsors legislation to overturn Prop. 22 and legalize same-sex "marriage" in California.
Niederauer told the San Francisco diocesan newspaper that the annual Catholic Charities CYO's Loaves and Fishes Award is given to those who show "genuine concern for and effective action in improving the lives of those in need in our community." The awards will be given out tonight at Catholic Charities' annual "Loaves and Fishes" gala dinner.
Another recipient of this year's award will be Levi Strauss & Co., the jeans manufacturer that has long been a leader in corporate support for the homosexual activist movement.
In June 2004 a statement signed by the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops said, "The Catholic community and Catholic institutions should not honor those who act in defiance of our fundamental moral principles. They should not be given awards, honors or platforms which would suggest support for their actions."
Judie Brown, president of American Life League, said it is "beyond my imagination" that Archbishop Niederauer should honour "someone who is an enemy of the Church," known for supporting Planned Parenthood, embryonic stem cell research, and for opposing regulations on abortion.
"But then again," Brown said, "if I recall correctly, he is the same archbishop who gave the body and blood of Christ in the Holy Eucharist to two avowed homosexuals who were, at the time, wearing costumes designed to mock Catholic women religious. On that occasion, the archbishop claimed he did not notice the costumes!"
"Since the event at which Planned Parenthood's supporter, George Marcus, is to be honored is scheduled for this evening, one has to wonder if once again we will learn, after the fact, that he simply didn't notice."
Archbishop Niederauer is developing a record as one of the most useful of the US Catholic bishops for the abortion and homosexual "rights" movements. In February 2007, in an interview with KCBS radio in San Francisco, Niederauer refused to answer hard questions about communion for pro-abortion politicians, ordination of homosexuals and homosexual adoption. He claimed not to be aware of the position on abortion of Nancy Pelosi, Speaker of the United States House of Representatives and one of the abortion lobby's most powerful "Catholic" voices.
The archbishop approved a compromise between the state of California and Catholic Charities on the adoption of children by homosexual partners that saw the Church involved with a secular agency to carry out homosexual adoptions. When asked about this by KCBS, Archbishop Niederauer replied that he was "really very happy" with the situation, despite the official Church teaching on the matter that considers adoption of children by homosexual couples to be an act of "violence" toward the child.
Brown continued, "It is a source of grave concern to all of us at American Life League that Archbishop Niederauer continues to participate in occasions of scandal by his apparent lack of concern over matters as serious as this one."
"How a prelate of the Catholic Church could be involved at any level with a man who supports the world's leading abortion provider is simply beyond belief."
Archbishop Niederauer has also repeatedly supported the aims of the homosexualist lobby.
In 2004, Archbishop Niederauer publicly opposed a Utah ballot initiative that constitutionally banned same-sex marriage because it included a ban on civil unions.
In 1996, as bishop of Salt Lake City, he helped form a coalition of religious leaders opposing the ban on high-school "gay-straight alliances" proposed by the Utah legislature.
In 1986, Niederauer wrote a letter to an Orange County judge asking that a priest convicted of 26 counts of felony child sexual abuse be spared prison time - the priest received no jail time for the offences. Niederauer wrote that the boys involved might have mistaken "horsing around" for molestation. Niederauer later admitted that the letter had been a "mistake." (San Francisco Archbishop to Give Highest Honours to Abortion and Perversity "Rights" Supporter.)
Contrary to what was asserted last year by American Life League founder and president Mrs. Judie Brown, it is not "beyond belief" for George Niederauer to be "involved at any level with a man who supports the world's leading abortion provider" as George Niederauer is not a member of the Catholic Church in good standing. He is a member of a false church with false beliefs and a profane liturgy (at least in its alleged Latin Rite) that offends God greatly. George Niederauer has no concept of the horror of personal sin, thus showing Himself to have no sense at all of what Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ suffered in His Sacred Humanity during His Passion and Death because of our sins.
The pervert-friendly George Niederauer does not deny Pelosi what purports to be Holy Communion in the Protestant and Masonic Novus Ordo worship service. The friend of explicit classroom instruction in matters pertaining to the Sixth and Ninth Commandments, Donald Wuerl, the conciliar "archbishop" of Washington, District of Columbia, does not deny the pro-abort, pro-perversity Nancy Patricia D'Alesandro Pelosi what purports to be Holy Communion in the Protestant and Masonic Novus Ordo worship service. Nancy Patricia D'Alesandro Pelosi, whose father was a member of the United States House of Representatives from the State of Maryland from 1939 to 1947 and then Mayor of the City of Baltimore, Maryland, from 1947 to 1959, remains a "Catholic" in "good standing" in the structures of the counterfeit church of conciliarism who is bold enough to "thank God" for a version of ObamaCare that does not threaten "abortion rights:"
Washington, DC (LifeNews.com) -- In yet another comment that will draw guffaws from pro-life advocates, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is thankful to God that the Senate bill include massive abortion funding. Pelosi also claims she has enough votes to pass a pro-abortion health care bill in the House, though that is disputed.
The Senate bill, unlike the House government-run health care measure, funds abortions though the public option and affordability credits.
In a press conference with reporters late Wednesday, Pelosi talked about the differences between the House and Senate bills, some of which she liked and some disliked. But she appealed to a higher power in complementing one aspect of the Senate measure.
The Senate bill "doesn't have a public option, doesn't expand Medicare for the (age) 55 to 64 group, and has abortion language that is completely different from the House -- thank God."
Pelosi told reporters she believes the House can approve the Senate bill or a merged conference committee measure even without the Stupak amendment the House added on a large bipartisan vote to remove abortion funding.
"We'll see now, won't we," she said.
Pelosi then added, "Let me tell you why I'm confident this will happen: If we stipulate to three points -- that we all want to pass health-care reform, and that we won't have any federal funding for abortion, and third that this is abortion-neutral, that it is not an expansion or (limitation) of abortion rights -- that is what everybody says they want, including the (Catholic) bishops and everybody else."
"Stupak goes beyond the three principles," she claimed.
Pelosi also said she thinks she can get enough votes from Democrats to pass the bill -- "I never count on Republicans."
However, Rep. Bart Stupak, the Michigan congressman who sponsored the amendment to cut off abortion funding, says he thinks enough pro-life Democrats will vote against the bill if the amendment is removed to kill it. NANCY PELOSI: "THANK GOD" SENATE BILL FUNDS ABORTIONS, SAYS HOUSE CAN PASS IT.)
Although the Stupak Amendment is not "pro-life" (the LifeNews.com website, which is not to be confused with the Canadian-based LifeSite News.com website, is affiliated with the National Not-So-Right-To-Life Committee that supports the slicing and dicing of innocent babies in cases where it is alleged that a mother's life is endangered and that takes no position for or against contraception), something that was noted a few days ago in Not For A Single Innocent Life, it is interesting to note that Nancy Patricia D'Alesandro Pelosi is giving "thanks" to God that what she thinks is a "pro-life" amendment will not be in the version of ObamaCare that is now pending before the United States Senate. (For another good commentary on the immoral nature of the Stupak Amendment and its variation in the United States Senate, the Nelson-Hatch Amendment, please see Mrs. Judie Brown's
THE POLITICS OF MAYHEM, MISCHIEF AND MURDER.)
Nancy Patricia D'Alesandro Pelosi does not care that the Second Person of the Most Blessed Trinity became Man in Our Lady's Virginal and Immaculate Womb by the power of the Third Person of the Most Blessed Trinity, God the Holy Ghost, and that He spent nine months as a helpless preborn Baby. She does not care that Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, He Who is the Lord of history, knew from all eternity that preborn babies would be killed under cover of the civil law with her own support and participation as a public servant. She does not care that Our Lord is indeed in solidarity with every child in every mother's womb and that to directly intend to attack one innocent child in his mother's womb is to commit an attack mystically upon Our Lord Himself. She cares about none of this. Like so many of other fellow "Catholics" in the conciliar structures who support one grave evil after another under cover of the civil law, Nancy Patricia D'Alesandro Pelosi has been enabled and protected time and time again by the "bishops" of the counterfeit church of conciliarism.
How much more innocent blood needs to be shed until the lot of Catholic pro-abortion politicians is banished from the One World Church of conciliarism? Indeed, it is because the "popes" of this One World Church believe in "dialogue" and "persuasion" that they have not addressed pro-abortion Catholic politicians in these stirring words of Pope Pius XI:
"Those who hold the reins of government should not forget that it is the duty of public authority by appropriate laws and sanctions to defend the lives of the innocent, and this all the more so since those whose lives are endangered and assailed cannot defend themselves. Among whom we must mention in the first place infants hidden in the mother's womb. And if the public magistrates not only do not defend them, but by their laws and ordinances betray them to death at the hands of doctors or of others, let them remember that God is the Judge and Avenger of innocent blood which cried from earth to Heaven." (Pope Pius XI, Casti Connubii, December 30, 1930.)
Anyone who knows anything about my writing over the years knows that, despite my abandoning my "conservative" papalotry and then my "indulterer" and "resist and recognize ways, there has been absolute consistency on the insistence that Catholics in public life who support the deliberate, direct, intentional taking of innocent preborn human life have expelled themselves from the Catholic Church. Admittedly written at a time I believed the conciliar authorities to hold ecclesiastical office legitimately, one of my articles in The Wanderer in this vein in the 1990s was entitled, "Excommunicate Them All." That article was simply one of many over the years. My current criticism of men I now realize to be pretenders to ecclesiastical office for their refusal to discipline pro-abortion Catholic politicians is nothing new, therefore.
Although my embrace of sedevacantism has been only within the past three years, eight months, I have been quite consistent throughout the course of my teaching and speaking and writing careers in explaining that it is impossible for one to support abortion, whether by chemical or surgical means, under cover of the civil law and remain a member of the Catholic Church, making frequent advertence to this injunction contained in Pope Leo XIII's Immortale Dei, November 1, 1885:
Hence, lest concord be broken by rash charges, let this be understood by all, that the integrity of Catholic faith cannot be reconciled with opinions verging on naturalism or rationalism, the essence of which is utterly to do away with Christian institutions and to install in society the supremacy of man to the exclusion of God. Further, it is unlawful to follow one line of conduct in private life and another in public, respecting privately the authority of the Church, but publicly rejecting it; for this would amount to joining together good and evil, and to putting man in conflict with himself; whereas he ought always to be consistent, and never in the least point nor in any condition of life to swerve from Christian virtue.
The spiritual robber barons who have enabled and protected the likes of Nancy Pelosi are not members of the Catholic Church. Neither is Pelosi, who has expelled herself from the bosom of Holy Mother Church by means of her supporting the direct, intentional killing of innocent babies by chemical and surgical means under the cover of the civil law.
Alas, it is a grace to be able to recognize these truths and then to act upon it. As I have noted in other articles, although the late Mario Francesco "Cardinal" Pompedda, the former head of the Apostolic Signatura for the conciliar church, did not believe that the canonical doctrine of sedevacantism applied to the "papacy" of Karol Wojtyla/John Paul II, he did state that sedevacantism is indeed the canonical doctrine of the Catholic Church:
It is true that the canonical doctrine states that the see would be vacant in the case of heresy. ... But in regard to all else, I think what is applicable is what judgment regulates human acts. And the act of will, namely a resignation or capacity to govern or not govern, is a human act. (Cardinal Says Pope Could Govern Even If Unable to Speak, Zenit, February 8, 2005.)
No, the belief that those who fall from the Faith cannot hold ecclesiastical office is not held merely by the "nutty" sedevacantists. Mario "Cardinal" Pompedda stated that it is the canonical doctrine of the Church that the see of Peter "would be vacant in the case of heresy." So much for some of the current efforts to disprove that sedevacantism is even a possibility at any time, no less that it applies at this time, which is a judgment that one must make in the practical order about whether claimants of ecclesiastical office have defected from the Faith by virtue of violating the Divine Positive Law, thereby falling into the category of heretics described by Pope Leo XIII in Satis Cognitum, June 29, 1896:
The Church, founded on these principles and mindful of her office, has done nothing with greater zeal and endeavour than she has displayed in guarding the integrity of the faith. Hence she regarded as rebels and expelled from the ranks of her children all who held beliefs on any point of doctrine different from her own. The Arians, the Montanists, the Novatians, the Quartodecimans, the Eutychians, did not certainly reject all Catholic doctrine: they abandoned only a certain portion of it. Still who does not know that they were declared heretics and banished from the bosom of the Church? In like manner were condemned all authors of heretical tenets who followed them in subsequent ages. "There can be nothing more dangerous than those heretics who admit nearly the whole cycle of doctrine, and yet by one word, as with a drop of poison, infect the real and simple faith taught by our Lord and handed down by Apostolic tradition" (Auctor Tract. de Fide Orthodoxa contra Arianos).
The practice of the Church has always been the same, as is shown by the unanimous teaching of the Fathers, who were wont to hold as outside Catholic communion, and alien to the Church, whoever would recede in the least degree from any point of doctrine proposed by her authoritative Magisterium. Epiphanius, Augustine, Theodore :, drew up a long list of the heresies of their times. St. Augustine notes that other heresies may spring up, to a single one of which, should any one give his assent, he is by the very fact cut off from Catholic unity. "No one who merely disbelieves in all (these heresies) can for that reason regard himself as a Catholic or call himself one. For there may be or may arise some other heresies, which are not set out in this work of ours, and, if any one holds to one single one of these he is not a Catholic" (S. Augustinus, De Haeresibus, n. 88).
Christmas is but six days away now. The final days of Advent penance are upon us. Although we must live penitentially every day of our lives in reparation for our sins and those of the whole world, we must make firm resolutions now to make use of the final six days of Advent to prepare for a joyful celebration of Christmas Day, the Christmas Octave, and the entirety of the Christmas season that ends liturgically on the Feast of the Purification of the Blessed Virgin Mary on February 2, 2010.
We must pray in these final days of Advent for all others, especially for those from whom we are estranged in this period of apostasy and betrayal and those from we are estranged because of various difficulties that must be an occasion for us to offer forgiveness even as we seek redress without vengeance, keeping uppermost in our prayers the conciliarists who commit endless atrocities against the honor and glory and majesty of God and the souls He redeemed by the shedding of every single drop of His Most Precious Blood souls with such utter abandon and impunity.
The hour is late. In the midst of apostasy and betrayal on every side imaginable, we must enfold ourselves in the mantle of Our Lady's Brown Scapular of Mount Carmel as our shield and use her Most Holy Rosary as our weapon to pray in reparation for our sins and those of the whole world, offering our prayers and sufferings and sacrifices to the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus through the Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary.
May the Triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary come soon. Very soon!
Isn't it time to pray a Rosary now?
Vivat Christus Rex!
Immaculate Heart of Mary, pray for us now and at the hour of our death. Amen.
Saint Joseph, pray for us.
Saints Peter and Paul, pray for us.
Saint John the Baptist, pray for us.
Saint John the Evangelist, pray for us.
Saint Michael the Archangel, pray for us.
Saint Gabriel the Archangel, pray for us.
Saint Raphael the Archangel, pray for us.
