Care Not For God's Truth, Care Not For Any Truth

by Thomas A. Droleskey

The story below is not really "news" at all even though it was reported just last week.

It is not news because the spiritual robber barons of the counterfeit church of conciliarism, steeped in the lies they tell about Catholic doctrine, worship and morals, have nothing but lie to attempt to blunt the worldwide cascade of revelations concerning how they permitted abusive clergymen to function within their thoroughly rotten structures.

It is not news because the spiritual robber barons of the counterfeit church of conciliarism protected known abusers while browbeating and intimidating victims and their families simply for bringing these matters to their attention before seeking redress by means of lawsuits after their best efforts to bring the truth to the attention of men they considered to be shepherds of the Catholic Church were met with repeated stonewalling and self-righteous, self-piteous displays of feigned indignation.

The story below is not news because little that comes out of the mouths of the conciliar officials has any relationship at all to truth, whether it be on level of the Order of Redemption (Grace) or the Order of Creation (Nature).

The story below, therefore, really speaks for itself:

The Vatican was “entirely unhelpful” to any bishop who wanted to implement procedures for dealing with allegations of child sexual abuse in the Irish Catholic Church, a report has found.

The Commission of Investigation Report into the Catholic Diocese of Cloyne states that a decision by the Vatican to brand a framework document on child sexual abuse, agreed by the Irish Bishops Conference in 1996, as “not an official document” effectively gave individual Irish bishops “the freedom to ignore” the guidelines.

The Vatican response “can only be described as unsupportive especially in relation to the civil authorities,” the commission said in its 341 page report.

The effect of this was “to strengthen the position of those who dissented from the official stated Irish Church policy”, according to the report, which examines allegations made against 19 priests between 1996 and 2009.

The commission says the response of the diocese was “inadequate and inappropriate” and that the primary responsibility for the failure to implement the agreed child sexual abuse procedures lies with then Bishop of Cloyne John Magee, who resigned in March 2010.

“It is a remarkable fact that Bishop Magee took little or no active interest in the management of clerical child sexual abuse cases until 2008, 12 years after the framework document was adopted,” the report says.

“It became clear during the course of this investigation that Bishop Magee had, to a certain extent, detached himself from the day to day management of child sexual abuse cases. Bishop Magee was the head of the diocese and cannot avoid his responsibility by blaming subordinates who he wholly failed to supervise.”

It says Dr Magee wrongly told the Government and the HSE that the Cloyne Diocese was reporting all allegations of clerical child sexual abuse to the authorities. It also said he deliberately misled people by creating two different accounts of a meeting with a priest accused of abuse.

The inquiry, led by Judge Yvonne Murphy, said the fact that some child sexual abuse allegations were not reported to gardaí was the diocese’s “greatest failure”.

There were 15 cases between 1996 and 2005 which “very clearly” should have been reported by the diocese. Nine of the cases were not reported.

“The most serious lapse was the failure to report the two cases in which the alleged victims were minors at the time of the complaint was made,” the commission said.

The diocese also failed to report any complaints to health authorities between 1996 and 2008, as agreed under the framework document, and it failed to appoint people to provide support to victims or perpetrators of child sexual abuse.

“Given the diocese’s knowledge of clerical sexual abuse and its effects on complainants it was wrong of the diocese not to put in place a proper support system for complainants,” the commission says.

Minster for Justice Alan Shatter said today he plans to introduce legislation to make it a criminal offence not to report the sexual abuse of a child or vulnerable adult.

Speaking in the wake of the publication of the Cloyne report, Mr Shatter also expressed the State’s “sorrow and profound apology” for any failings on its part in relation to the revelations of the report.

The report was commissioned in January 2009 by then minister for children Barry Andrews after the public outcry which followed publication in December 2008 of a review of child protection practices in Cloyne by the Catholic Church’s own child protection watchdog, the National Board for Safeguarding Children.

The commission was asked to investigate the handling of clerical child sex abuse allegations in Cloyne by church and State authorities between January 1st, 1996 - when the church’s first published guidelines, its Framework Document, came into play - and February 1st, 2009.

It was approved for publication at the Cabinet meeting yesterday and was formally published this afternoon by Mr Shatter and Minister for Children Frances Fitzgerald.

Findings against one priest are being withheld as he is currently before the courts.

The report says the Vatican approach “gave comfort and support” to individuals such as Monsignor Denis O’Callaghan, who handled child sexual abuse policy in the Diocese of Cloyne for many years without supervision.

Mgr O’Callaghan failed to understand that the requirement to report was for the protection of other children, the commission said, and he said he did not notify of complaints against deceased priests until May 2003.

Mgr O'Callaghan told the commission: “I regret now that I did not intervene to counter the choice of the legal route when just settlements should have been made earlier with survivors” “I regret also that I tended to show favour to accused priests vis-à-vis complaints in some cases."

The report is largely complimentary about the role of gardaí but does raise concerns about its approach in three cases.

In one, an investigation was “clearly not commenced”. In a second case, a statement that was taken from a young man by a garda who was due to retire was put in a drawer and forgotten about. In a third case, the evidence given to the commission by a garda differed from statements he had made to prior Garda investigations.

The commission said the response of health authorities was “adequate” but that “the primary responsibility for the protection of children rests with the State and it is not convinced the State’s laws and guidelines are sufficiently strong and clear for this task”.

The report also examines how an allegation against Dr Magee from 2008 was dealt with. He is alleged to have embraced an 18-year-old youth and kissed him on the forehead, which was deemed to be inappropriate but not reportable behaviour. (Cloyne report finds failures by church, State agencies.)

The Cloyne Report prompted the Foreign Minister of Ireland, Eamon Gilmore, to deliver a stern message to conciliar "Archbishop" Giuseppe Leanza, the conciliar church's "papal" nuncio to the Republic of Ireland, a land that has been decimated by the drying up of the wellsprings of grace caused by the promulgation and institutionalization of the Protestant and Masonic Novus Ordo service that has served as a singular vessel of perdition to embrace Modernity, thereby helping to return the Land of Saints and Scholars back to its Druid past:

Ireland’s foreign minister summoned the country’s papal nuncio yesterday and demanded that the Vatican give a formal response to the Cloyne Report into the mishandling of clerical abuse.

The meeting came just a day after a judicial commission accused the Vatican of being “entirely unhelpful” to Irish bishops seeking to implement robust abuse policies.

Foreign Minister Eamon Gilmore told Archbishop Giuseppe Leanza that the Vatican had “undermined” best practice in child safeguarding within the Church.

The Cloyne Report said the Vatican, through its opposition to the Irish bishops’ 1996 guidelines for handling child sexual abuse, gave comfort to dissenters within the Church who did not want to implement the procedures. In a letter to the bishops, the Congregation for Clergy described the rules as “merely a study document” and refused to give the document formal recognition.

Mr Gilmore said the Vatican intervention was “absolutely unacceptable” and “inappropriate.” He said he had told Archbishop Leanza that an explanation and response were required as to why the Vatican had told priests and bishops they could undermine the rules.

Speaking after the meeting, Archbishop Leanza, who was named nuncio to Ireland in February 2008, said he was “distressed … by the failures in assuring the protection of children within the Church despite all the good work that has been done” and promised to deliver a copy of the report to the Vatican.

Responding to journalists’ queries, Mr Gilmore said: “I want to know why this state, with which we have diplomatic relations, issued a communication, the effect of which was that very serious matter of the abuse of children in this country was not reported to the authorities.”

Mr Gilmore said the Vatican had conveyed a message that somehow it was “all right to evade responsibility” for reporting these matters to the Irish authorities.

“What happened here should not have happened. What happened here was totally inappropriate, unjustified and unacceptable by the Vatican in the reporting arrangements, even within the context of the arrangements of the Church itself,” Mr Gilmore said after the meeting.

He said he had not set a deadline for a response but that he would judge what represented an appropriate period of time to respond to the formal request from the government.

Earlier the same day, Jesuit Fr Federico Lombardi, the Vatican spokesman, said he would not have a specific comment on the Cloyne Report. He said the Vatican views this as one part of the sex abuse issue in Ireland, and he referred reporters to earlier statements by the Pope and the Vatican on the gravity of the problem and the measures taken to resolve it.

The report, based on a judicial investigation into the handling of allegations of child sexual abuse against clerics in the Diocese of Cloyne, concluded that the Church’s own guidelines were “not fully or consistently implemented” in the diocese as recently as 2008.

It said that “the primary responsibility for the failure to implement the agreed procedures lies with” Bishop John Magee, a former secretary to three popes who has admitted to having an inappropriate relationship with a young man. (Ireland's foreign minister: Vatican must explain itself.)

"Bishop" John Magee did not serve three "popes." He served three figures of Antichrist, men who were steeped in the lies of conciliarism and the horrors of the Novus Ordo service, named Giovanni Montini/Paul VI, Albino Luciani/John Paul I and Karol Wojtyla/John Paul II.

"Father" Federico Lombardi, S. J., steeped in these same lies and horrors, is agent of untruth and obfuscation, Joseph Ratzinger/Benedict XVI, who, noting a few exceptions here and there, has left the conciliar "bishops" guilty of enabling abusive clergymen remain in their positions, thereby demoralizing at least a few conciliar priests and presbyters and scandalizing millions upon millions of ordinary Catholics worldwide.

There is really nothing much at all to add to the substance of the Cloyne Report that has not been examined in depth at other times on this site (and in one audio presentation last year): Of Worldwide Scope, Always Evading Root Causes, Swinging Clubs To Protect The Club, Surely He Jests, "Canonizing" A Man Who Protected Moral Derelicts, More Than A Matter of Legality, Audio Presentation: Scandal In a Church of Apostasy.WMA, "Fall Guys" Aren't Usually "Stand-Up Guys", Apologizing to Everyone Save For God Himself, Not Going Down With the Conciliar Ship, Touchy, Touchy, and Chastisements Under Which We Must Save Our Souls, part two, Not So "Deplorable" After All.) There's really nothing "new" about its contents as it is simply a repetition of the pattern of abuse and deceit and stonewalling that has unfolded in the United States of America, Canada, Belgium, Germany, Australia and many other nations in the world.

Nothing other than deceit can be expected from men who do the following:

1) Deny the nature of dogmatic truth, making it appear as though the true popes of the past and the fathers who deliberated at Holy Mother Church's twenty general councils formulated doctrine according to the exigencies of the "time in which they lived" and that truth, possessing such a variety of aspects and meanings, never can be expressed adequately or precisely at any one time. (See Ratzinger's War Against Catholicism.)

2) Promote the heresy that the "Church of Christ" is not coextensive with the Catholic Church.

3) Treat false religions and their symbols and places of false worship as worthy of respect and veneration. (See As We Continue To Blaspheme Christ the King and His True Church.)

4) Treat the "clergy" of false religions as though they had a mission from God to serve and to thus to save souls. (See Unity Among Lutherans, Calling Cesar Romero, Calling Cesar Romero, part one, Calling Cesar Romero, Calling Cesar Romero, part two, Generic Christianity Is Not Good Enough For God, Day Two of the Conciliar Circus in the United Kingdom, part one, Day Two of the Conciliar Circus in the United Kingdom, part two, Days Three and Four of the Conciliar Circus in the United Kingdom, part one, Days Three and Four of the Conciliar Circus in the United Kingdom, part two, What's The First Commandment Got To Do With Anything?, and The Cost of "Recognition" Keeps Getting Higher and Higher

5) Engage in the forbidden practice of "interreligious prayer services." (See a summary of this in As We Continue To Blaspheme Christ the King and His True Church.)

6) Attempt to administer "joint blessings" with the "clergymen" of false religions. (See the listing of articles under four, above.)

7) Assert that Talmudic Judaism is pleasing to God and that "Jews and Christians pray to the same Lord." (See Saint Peter and Anti-Peter.)

8) Assert that the Old Covenant God made Moses has not been superseded by the New and Eternal Covenant instituted by Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ at the Last Supper and ratified as He died on the wood of the Holy Cross on Good Friday to atone for our sins as He shed every single drop of His Most Precious Blood.

9) Present misrepresentations of history that are designed to make it appear as though Catholics in the East did not submit themselves to the Successor of Saint Peter as the Sovereign Pontiff, the Visible Head of the one true Church on earth. (See, for example, Anti-Apostles All.)

10) Use "unofficial" documents and allocutions to undermine belief in Limbo, Purgatory and the inerrancy of Sacred Scripture. (From Sharp Focus to Fuzziness, No Need to be in Limbo Any Longer.)

11) Use "private books" to undermine Catholic moral teaching and to deny Catholic doctrine. (See Coloring Everything He Says and Does, part one, Coloring Everything He Says and Does, part two, (If Them, Why Not Others?, Let the Olympic Games of Absurdity Begin!, Razing The Last Bastions, Nothing New Under Benedict's Sun,Words and Actions Without Consequences, Making a Mockery of Catholicism, Impressed With His Own Originality, Accepting "Popes" As Unreliable Teachers and Boilerplate Ratzinger.)

12) "Beatified" and "canonized" men who advanced the agenda of conciliarism (Continuing to Beatify Their Own, "Connecting" with Betrayal,   "Canonizing" A Man Who Protected Moral Derelicts, Celebrating Apostasy and Dereliction of Duty , To Be Loved by the JewsEnjoy the Party, George, Enjoy the Party and Anticlimactic "Beatification" for an Antipope.)

13) Given endless harangues in behalf of the falsehoods of religious liberty and separation of Church and State. (See Another Year of the Same Conciliar Apostasy, part one, Another Year of the Same Conciliar Apostasy, part two , Another Year of the Same Conciliar Apostasy, part three, Bearing "Fruits" From Hell Itself, part one, Bearing "Fruits" From Hell Itself, part 2, Not Interested in Assisi III and Night and Day.)

14) Accepted adherents of the false Anglican sect into the conciliar structures without requiring them to make an abjuration of error and while accepting liturgical books that were condemned as heretical by Pope Saint Pius V in Regnans in Excelsis, March 5, 1570. (See Defaming The English Martyrs, Still Defaming The English Martyrs and Sanctioning Apostasy With Sanctimony.)

15) Representing as an act of Catholic worship a Protestant worship service that has led to a  such gushing torrent of sacrileges that not even the heretics of yore dared to advanced or, quite perhaps, even conceived as possible.

This is, of course, just a thumbnail summary of the multiple ways in which the truths of the Holy Faith have been denied, undermined and misrepresented by the lords of conciliarism.

Care for God's truths, care not for any kind of truth at any time, especially if it means having to admit the truth about yourself and your own criminal activities that are known to Him and then made manifest to mere mortals in this life to serve as a chastisement to the wrongdoers and a salutary call for the amending of their lives.

The lords of conciliarism do not possess the Catholic Faith. Why should they care about the scandals that they cause and the souls they demoralize if they are bold enough to claim publicly that the immutable truths of the the Holy Faith need to be understood and expressed in different ways now for the benefit of the mythical entity known as "modern man"?

It is that simple.

No matter the clerical garb in which the conciliar criminals cloak themselves falsely in the mantle of the Catholic Church, they are human beings whose scheming misdeeds that they have cooked up to protect themselves have now blown up in their very faces. Cover-ups almost always unravel. Not always. Almost always. "True believers" will never believe any objective evidence that proves their conciliar heroes to be nothing other than scheming, perverted liars who have abused the dignity of either their priesthood (in the case of the conciliar "bishops" who are true priests) or of the appearance of that dignity (in the case of the conciliar "bishops" who are merely presbyters). In the end, however, the truth generally gets known sooner rather than later, although the truth about each one of our lives will be laid bare for all to see at the General Judgment of the Living and the Dead on the Last Day. There will be no place for any of us to hide at that time as the Justice and Mercy of God is made manifest for the just to praise prior to their entry body and soul into Heaven for the damned to flee in fright body and soul into Hell.

We must, of course, pray for these enemies of Christ the King and of the immortal souls for whom He shed every single drop of His Most Precious Blood on the wood of the Holy Cross, recognizing that we have been enemies of Divine King and Redeemer all too frequently, which is why we must live more and more penitentially with each passing day as His consecrated slave through the Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of His Most Blessed Mother, Mary our Immaculate Queen, accusing ourselves frequently in the Sacred Tribunal of Penance and praying as many Rosaries each day as our state-in-life permits.

Many of us have said and done things that are truly deplorable in our lives. We must be ashamed of our own sins and ever so grateful that we have been given access in this state of apostasy and betrayal to true bishops and true priests to provide us with the sacramental helps necessary to sanctify and save our souls so that we can know the gratuitous Mercy that God Himself desires shower upon us in the Sacred Tribunal of Penance if only we approach Him on bended knees and a contrite heart with a firm purpose of amending our lives.

Obviously, we must, as always, spend time in prayer before Our Lord's Real Presence in the Most Blessed Sacrament as we pray our daily Rosaries, using the shield of Our Lady's Brown Scapular of Mount Carmel and the weapon of her Rosary to protect us from the contagion of apostasy and betrayal that is all around us. We must also, of course, make reparation for our own many sins by offering up all of our prayers and sufferings and sacrifices and humiliations and penances and mortifications and fastings to the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus through the Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary.

This will all pass. The triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary will be made manifest, and it will be a triumph beyond all telling.

As Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ Himself said to Saint Margaret Mary Alacoque:

"I will reign in spite of all who oppose Me." (quoted in: The Right Reverend Emile Bougaud. The Life of Saint Margaret Mary Alacoque, reprinted by TAN Books and Publishers in 1990, p. 361.)

Yes, Our Lord will indeed reign in spite of the liars and deceives in the counterfeit church of conciliarism, men who have no credibility on matters of Faith, Morals and Worship or in matters pertaining to the accusations against them as criminal thugs whose religion is amorality and their glory is indeed their shame.

Viva Cristo Rey! Vivat Christus Rex!
