Although I am working on a commentary about RyanCare’s failure, it will not be ready for posting until Monday, March 27, 2017, the Feast of Saint John Damascene and the Commemoration of Monday in the Fourth Week of Lent. The articles may be fewer each month than in years past as I just no longer able to stay up long hours to complete them with the thoroughness that I seek to provide for those who access this site. Thanks for your patience.

In the meantime, however, I am reposting a commentary about the decision of the Supreme Court of the United States of America in the combined cases of National Federation of Independent Business v. Sebelius, June 28, 2012, that has great pertinence to what unfolded this past week. I offer to readers once again to demonstrate that outcomes such as Friday’s are relatively easy to predict, which is why I do not get agitated about the events of the day. There is no political, constitutional, legal, nondenominational, interdenominational, secular or otherwise naturalistic way out of the mess created by the Protestant Revolution’s overthrow of the Social Reign of Christ the King and the subsequent rise of the anti-Incarnational modern civil state.

Finally, Novus Ordo Watch has translated a news story alleging that Ratzinger and Bergoglio no longer speak to each other. This is something along the lines of Leon Trotsky no longer speaking to Joseph Stalin. Trotsky and Stalin differed only about the speed with which to pursue a worldwide revolution in behalf of Marxism. Trotsky wanted to spread the poison of Marxism-Leninism everywhere in the world. Stalin wanted to institutionalize it firmly in the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics before there could be what Trotsky called "constant revolution" (the neoconservatives are direct ideological descendants of Trotsky as they desire constant warfare as the means to spread American "values" and to engage in "nation-building."

Similarly, Ratzinger and Bergoglio's may have some differences, but what I wrote two years ago remains as true now as it was then:  No Space Between Ratzinger and Bergoglio: So Close in Apostasy, So Far From Catholic Truth. Both men are egregious Modernists. They are both revolutionaries against the Catholic Faith.

Today's article is a slightly revised reflection on the transferred feast we celebrate today, the feast which signifies the moment when the Second Person of the Most Blessed Trinity, the very Word through Whom all things were made, personally entered into human history as He was made Incarnate in the Virginal and Immaculate Womb of His Most Blessed Mother by the power of the Third Person of the Most Blessed Trinity, God the Holy Ghost, Who overshadowed Our Lady after she had given her perfect Fiat to the Will of the First Person of the Most Blessed Trinity, God the Father, as that Will was made known to her by Saint Gabriel the Archangel.

The whole of human history is changed today--and no one can remain neutral about what happened on this day. If the Second Person of the Most Blessed Trinity really did become Man this day in Our Lady's Virginal and Immaculate Womb so as to redeem us on the wood of the Holy Cross thirty-three years later, as we know is indeed the case, then every person and every nation on the face of this earth must acknowledge this fact and subordinate everything to the Deposit of Faith that He has entrusted exclusively to His Catholic Church for Its eternal safekeeping and infallible explication.

We must pray to Our Lady every day so that we will never lose sight of the centrality of the Incarnation in our own lives and in the lives of our nations, never lose sight of the fact that Holy Mass itself is Incarnational as the Word Who was made Incarnate in her Virginal and Immaculate Womb is made Incarnate on altars of sacrifice under the appearances of bread and wine by true bishops and true priests. Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ spent nine months in the tabernacle of Our Lady's Virginal and Immaculate Womb, thereby sanctifying the wombs of al mothers. He is in solidarity with every child in every mother's womb. Every abortion, whether by chemical or surgical means, is an indirect attack on the Incarnation that took place this very day.

What is called the "American Health Care Act," aka RyanCare or ObamaCareLite, will be voted upon by the Committee of the Whole in the United States House of Representatives at some point today even though the vote has been delayed because of wrangling over fiscal matters contained in the bill. My objection to ObamaCare and RyanCare is simple: (a) there no constitutional authority for the Federal government to direct the provision of health insurance; (b) there is nothing "pro-life" about Ryan Care despite the defunding of Planned Barrenhood.

This commentary, which has been expanded to include an appenix about a registered nurse's eyewitness testimony of how a hopisce killed her forty-three year-old son, who was not near death or in pain despite knowing that the leukemia from which he was suffering was incurable. This is must-reading.

This is a substantially revised reflection that contrasts the work of Saint Benedict of Nursia, whose feast is today, which is also the fifty-sixth anniversary of my Confirmation at the hands of Bishop Walter P. Kellenberg, the founding Bishop of the Diocese of Rockville Centre, New York, at Saint Aloysius Church, Great Neck, New York, with that of the two most recent conciliar “popes.”

Much time has been spent to give attention to Bergoglio’s denial of the commission that Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ gave to the Eleven on Ascension Thursday to convert all men to the true Faith. Saint Benedict of Nursia, the father of western Monasticism and thus of Europe itself, had an intolerance for such teaching. So should we. 

Today, of course, is the great Feast of Saint Joseph, the Chaste Spouse of Our Lady, the just and silent man of the House of David. Saint Joseph denied himself his biological fatherhood in order to serve as the ever-virginal spouse of the Blessed Virgin Mary and the most loving foster-father to Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

In him, Saint Joseph, is to be found every virtue for a husband and father to imitate: patience, charity, forbearance in all difficulties, fortitude, perseverance, temperance, and total self-abnegation. Those of us who are husbands and fathers must learn to be more silent, to learn to be more loving, to learn to be more patient, to learn to be more meek, to learn to be ever-ready to worker harder and harder at our life's work so as to help our wives and our children to live as redeemed creatures here below in order to know eternal happiness hereafter in Heaven. Saint Joseph is the model of home life and the patron of artisans, the protector of widows and orphans, the patron of those who are in danger of death. May we invoke his patronage each day after we invoke that of his Most Chaste Spouse, Our Lady, and never be slow to turn to him in our spiritual and temporal needs:

"O Saint Joseph, whose protection is so great, so strong, so prompt before the throne of God, I place in thee all my interests and desires. O thou Saint Joseph, do assist me by thy powerful intercession, and obtain for me from thy divine Son all spiritual blessings, through Jesus Christ, Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ; so that, having engaged here below thy heavenly power, I may offer my thanksgiving and homage to the most loving of fathers. O Saint Joseph, I never weary contemplating thee, and Jesus asleep in thy arms; I dare not approach while He reposes near thy heart. Press Him in my name and kiss His fine head for me, and ask Him to return the kiss when I draw my dying breath. Saint Joseph, Patron of departing souls, pray for me. Amen!"

The false "pontiff" addressed the priests and presbyters of Rome (Italy, not New York) seventeen days ago.

This is a brief word or two about the Argentine Apostate's textbook Modernism that he represents as a guide to "clerical formation."

Yesterday, March 18, 2017, was the thirty-fifth anniversary of the death of my mother, Norma Florence Droleskey, in her beloved Corpus Christi, Texas, at the age of sixty-one years, twelve days. She had been diagnosed with stomach and esophageal cancer just seven weeks before her death. 

I had intended to write a brief reflection about my mother prior to her death. My recent illness prevented me from doing so, and I have been waiting to receive family photographs that I have not seen in a quarter century since my late father's death on September 5, 1992, although it does not appear that I am going to get them anytime in the near future. 

Suffice it to say for the moment, though, that it is so hard to believe that my mother died thirty-five years ago. Please do pray for the repose of her immortal soul.

Yesterday was also the tenth anniversary of Father Daniel Johnson, the pastor of Saint Mary by the Sea Church in Huntington Beach, California, for over twenty-five years, and the ninth anniversary of the death of Mrs. Theresa Colgan, the mother of a friend of ours who had been a student of mine at Saint Francis College in Brooklyn, New York, during the 1985-1986 academic year. Please pray for their souls as well

Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon them. May their souls and all the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.

Saint Joseph, pray for us.

Although the subject of Jorge's Band of Theological Racketeers Legitimize Paul Ehrlich two months ago, the Pontifical Academy of Science's conference on "Biological Exinction" was as bad as advertised.

Indeed, the Argentine Apostate himself is reported to have said that families must be limited in their size if parents cannot raise their children "properly." 

This is but a brief response to such apostasy, which doubts the providential care of God for His rational creatures and deifies the earth while making man its slave.

Saint Patrick, pray for us.

This is a slightly revised tribute to our glorious Saint Patrick, Bishop and Confessor, whose work in behalf of the conversion of the Irish clans from paganism stands in very sharp contrast to the obeisance that has been paid by the conciliar “popes” and their “bishops” to every false religion and pagan superstition imaginable. It was to wipe out paganism that Saint Patrick spent his life as a missionary to the Emerald Isle, that land of Saints and Scholars which has fallen back into paganism in no small measure because of the false doctrines and sacramental barrenness of the liturgical rites of the counterfeit church of conciliarism. Saint Patrick stands ready to convert each one of us away from our own sins if only we beg his intercession to help make us saints, especially now during Passiontide. We are privileged to have a relic of Saint Patrick that is venerated each night before sleep. This relic was given to us most unexpectedly by a reader some years ago now, perhaps as long as ten years ago. Please be assured that we will include the intentions of each one of our readers in mind as venerate this relic of Saint Patrick this evening.

Although still battling the effects of a flu-like illness that has served as a very good Lenten penance, the entirety of yesteday was spent completing his commentary, which is once again aimed at reminding the readers of this site that no country will know lasting prosperity at home or security from other nations if its leaders and citizens are steeped in unrepentant Mortal Sins of one sort of another, up to and including those that cry out to Heaven for vengeance.

There is a good deal of documentation in this commentary, which is why it took the length of time that it did to complete it while slogging through the recent penances. Part three of this series will appear in a few days after I give Senor Bergoglo a little anniversary greeting of sorts tomorrow or Thursday.

Finally, I extend a public note of gratitude to the four people who provided us with non-tax-deducitble financial gifts in the past five days. I do hope that more might join their ranks very soon.

As I have been ill with a flu-like sickness that has turned into a very penitential cough that keeps me up most nights, work on the next original article, which is still being written, is proceeding a less than a snail’s pace. It is, though, my hope to complete it today before turning attention once again to the Argentine Apostate, whose fourth anniversary of accession to the conciliar seat of apostasy and betrayal occurs tomorrow, March 13, 2017.

Today, Sunday, March 12, 2017, the Second Sunday of Lent and the Commemoration of the Feast of Pope Saint Gregory the Great. A slightly revised version of a reflection on Pope Saint Gregory the Great that was written in 2010 is offered to the readership today. May we pray to the illustrious Pope Saint Gregory the Great for the restoration of a true pope on the Throne of Saint Peter.
