American Caesarism
Well, I have to admit being behind the eight ball on the fact that news broke yesterday, Easter Tuesday, that an Undersecretary of War, Elbridge Colby, a Catholic, had called in the conciliar Vatican’s nuncio, Christophe Pierre, who was very much responsible for the removal “Bishop” Joseph Strickland at the conciliar “bishop” of Tyler, Texas, in 2023 (a removal that had the full approval of the then prefect of the conciliar sect’s dicastery of “bisrhops,” a chap named Robert Francis Prevost), to admonish him over “Pope Leo XIV’s” implicit criticism of the “Donroe Doctrine” in his Urbi et Orbi address on January 1, 2026.
Before getting into the heart of the matter, though, let me stipulate that even though I have rejected the claims of the conciliar “popes” to the papacy for two decades now, I am also aware of the fact that only a tiny—and mostly fratricidal—faction of Catholics worldwide have come to this conclusion. Most people in the world, Catholics and non-Catholics alike, have accepted the leaders of the counterfeit church of conciliarism as legitimate “popes” and “bishops.”
The report that follows, therefore, must be read in light of the belief that men such as Elbridge Colby believe that Robert Francis Prevost is “Pope Leo XIV” and thus accepts him as a true and legitimate Successor of Saint Peter and thus is the Vicar of Christ and the visible head of the Catholic Church. One can only understand the enormity of the Colby’s effrontery towards the institution of the papacy if one realizes that he thinks an unelected political appointee can dictate the terms upon which a true pope can speak critically about the policies of the United States of America:
[UPDATE at 4:33 PM EDT: Letters from Leo can now independently confirm The Free Press report that the meeting took place — and that some Vatican officials were so alarmed by the Pentagon’s tactics that they shelved plans for Pope Leo XIV to visit the United States later this year.
Other officials in the Vatican saw the Pentagon’s reference to an Avignon papacy as a threat to use military force against the Holy See.]
In January, behind closed doors at the Pentagon, Under Secretary of War for Policy Elbridge Colby summoned Cardinal Christophe Pierre — Pope Leo XIV’s then-ambassador to the United States — and delivered a lecture.
America, Colby and his colleagues told the cardinal, has the military power to do whatever it wants in the world. The Catholic Church had better take its side.
As tempers rose, one U.S. official reached for a fourteenth-century weapon and invoked the Avignon Papacy, the period when the French Crown used military force to bend the bishop of Rome to its will.
That scene, broken this week by Mattia Ferraresi in an extraordinary piece of journalism for The Free Press, may be the most remarkable moment in the long and knotted history of the American republic’s relationship with the Catholic Church.
There is no public record of any Vatican official ever taking a meeting at the Pentagon, and certainly none of a senior U.S. official threatening the Vicar of Christ on Earth with the prospect of an American Babylonian Captivity.
The reporting also confirms — with fresh sources and new color — what I first reported in February: that the Vatican declined the Trump-Vance White House’s invitation to host Pope Leo XIV for America’s 250th anniversary in 2026.
Ferraresi obtained accounts from Vatican and U.S. officials briefed on the Pentagon meeting. According to his sources, Colby’s team picked apart the pope’s January state-of-the-world address line by line and read it as a hostile message aimed directly at the administration.
What enraged them most was Leo’s declaration that “a diplomacy that promotes dialogue and seeks consensus among all parties is being replaced by a diplomacy based on force.”
The Pentagon read that sentence as a frontal challenge to the so-called “Donroe Doctrine” — Trump’s update of Monroe, asserting unchallenged American dominion over the Western Hemisphere.
The cardinal sat through the lecture in silence. The Holy See has not, since that day, given an inch.
Ferraresi’s reporting also adds vital color to the collapse of the 250th anniversary visit. JD Vance personally extended the invitation in May 2025, just two weeks after Leo’s election in the conclave.
According to a senior Vatican official quoted in the piece, the Holy See initially considered the request, then postponed it indefinitely because of foreign policy disagreements, the rising opposition of American bishops to the Trump-Vance mass deportation regime, and a refusal to become a partisan trophy in the 2026 midterms.
“The administration tried every possible way to have the Pope in the U.S. in 2026,” one Vatican official told The Free Press.
Instead, on July 4, 2026, the first American pope will travel to Lampedusa, the Italian island where North African migrants wash ashore by the thousands. Robert Francis Prevost is too deliberate a man to have chosen that date by accident.
The Pentagon meeting also clarifies the moral intensity of Leo’s public posture over the last six weeks.
After Colby’s lecture, the pope did not retreat into Vatican diplomacy. He pressed harder. (The Pentagon Threatened Leo XIV’s Ambassador With the Avignon Papacy.)
Although Robert Francis Prevost/Leo XIV has been very hypocritical in openly criticizing various policies of the administration of President Donald John Trump while ignoring the ongoing persecution of Catholics by the Red Chinese authorities in name of “building bridges” even though the Chicoms were given full rein by Jorge Mario Bergoglio and by Prevost himself to demand that Chinese Catholics be fully submissive to their repressive policies, he, Prevost/Leo (and Bergoglio before him), chose to sell out to the Red Chinese whereas Elbridge Colby demanded that the man he thinks is Pope Leo XIV and the Catholic Church recognize that the government of the United States of America has the power to do anything it wants. Niccolo Machiavelli, call your office, please.
As I noted last month in No, the United States of America is Not Exempt from the Moral Law and two months ago in Amorality Must Have No Place in the Life of Catholics, everything that we do personally and/or collectively must be undertaken in light of the binding precepts of the Divine Positive Law and the Natural Law. The mere possession of physical power cannot make that which is objectively sinful licit to pursue. In other words, might does not make right, but that is, in essence, what Elbridge Colby was telling the lavender-friendly Christophe Pierre—and through him to Robert Francis Prevost/Leo XIV.
The government of the United States of America is not infallible.
President Donald John Trump is not infallible, and even though Robert Francis Prevost is wrong to believe that there is no such thing as a Just War Theory and in asserting the conciliar doctrine that “dialogue” solves all problems, his criticism of the joint United States of America and Israel against Iran has been eminently justified.
Donald John Trump is a bully, and the Elbridge Colby’s threat of an Avignon Papacy calls to me the fact that, according to the late historian Paul John, Adolph Hitler had drawn up plans to hang Pope Pius XII to death on the obelisk in Piazza di San Pietro in the Vatican and install a puppet “pope” in his place.
I mean, what's next.
Is Donald John Trump, who is still talking about taking over Greenland, going to kidnap Robert Francis Prevost and force him to crown him, Trump, as Emperor Donaldus the way that Napleon Bonaparte forced Pope Pius VII to crown him as emperor in 1801 by snatching the crown out of His Holiness's hands.
Although pagan rulers of yesterday and various secular potentates in the past two hundred fifty years rulers have challenged the temporal powers of the papacy and even threatened the very existence of Holy Mother Church at various times for example, Jorge Mario Bergoglio Would Have Urged Catholics to "Dialogue" with Diocletian), there were too many examples of Catholic rulers in the Middle Ages who decided upon fighting with true popes.
However, despite these conflicts, including the Investiture Controversy that was decided definitively by Pope Saint Gregory VII, there were many rulers during the glories of Christendom who ruled according to the Mind of the Divine Redeemer, Christ the King, and it was those right principles that animated the thoroughly Catholic mind and heart of such great exemplars of the Social Reign of Christ the King as Charlemagne, Saints Ferdinand III of Leon and Castile, Henry II, Stephen of Hungary and, Ferdinand and Isabella in Spain, among so many others, Saint Louis IX, King of France.
Charlemagne had been born in 742 A.D., the son of Pepin the Short, who was anointed King of the Franks by Pope Stephen III in the year 754 A.D. Charlemagne was anointed as his father’s successor at the same time, distinguishing himself in his young adulthood as a tactical military genius and a very good administrator who based his decisions on that which was just and pleasing to God and thus for all parties involved. He became king in 768 A.D., serving as a firm defender of the temporal rights of the Holy See. Charlemagne’s military campaigns to defend the papacy won him the esteem of one pope after another, resulting ultimately in his crowning by Pope Leo III as the first Holy Roman Emperor on October 25, 800 A.D., after he had defended the honor of His Holiness against unjust accusers. Thus it was that the Vicar of Christ, the Successor of Saint Peter, chose an emperor for Christendom, firmly establishing the Social Kingship of Jesus Christ as the unifying principle of Christendom.
Mind you, Charlemagne was not bashful about inserting himself into ecclesiastical matters, doing so not for personal gain or to seek the approval of bishops for nefarious schemes, something that would characterize some of the English and German kings during the High Middle Ages and in France following the weakening of the Church following the Protestant Revolt, but to seek to insure that corrupt, self-seeking bishops were reprimanded in order that they served their flock with greater zeal and as they performed penance for their misdeeds. He provided a summary of the entire doctrine of the Social Reign of Christ the King that has been rejected by the lords of conciliarism when he gave the following speech to his nobles in March of 802:
“Hear me, my beloved brothers! We were sent here for your salvation, to exhort you to faithfully follow the Law of God and to convert you, in justice and mercy, to obey the laws of this world.
“First, I exhort you to believe in the One Almighty God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit: the only true God, perfect Trinity, true Unity, Creator of all things visible and invisible, Who is our salvation and the Author of all good things. Believe in the Son of God made man for the salvation of the world, born of the Virgin Mary by the work of the Holy Ghost. Believe that for our salvation He suffered death; and that on the third day He rose from the dead and ascended into Heaven where He is seated at the right hand of God. Believe that He will return to judge the living and dead, and that He will give to each one according to his works.
"Believe in one single Church, the society of the blessed through the entire universe, and know that only they can be saved, and that the Reign of God belongs only to those who persevere to the end in this [Catholic] Faith. Those who are excluded from the Church because of their sins and do not return to her through penance, can never make any action accepted by God. Be convinced that with Baptism you received absolution of your sins. Trust in the mercy of God, Who daily forgives our sins through confession and penance. Believe in the resurrection of the dead, in eternal life and in the never-ending torment of the impious.
“This is the Faith that will save you if you keep it faithfully, and add to it the practice of good works, because Faith without works is a dead faith; and works without Faith, even when they are good, cannot please God. Therefore, love Almighty God above all things with all your heart and strength. With the help with His grace, do everything, always and as much as possible, that you believe will please Him. But avoid everything that displeases Him, for the man who pretends to love God and does not observe His Commandments lies.
“Love your neighbor as yourself, and give as many alms to the poor as you can, according to your means. Receive travelers in your houses, visit the poor, and show charity to the prisoners as much as you can. Do evil to no one, and make no compromise with those who do bad things, because it is bad to not only harm your neighbor, but also to be familiar with those who harm him. “Mutually forgive offenses if you want God to forgive your sins. Rescue captives, help those who are unjustly oppressed, defend widows and orphans. Make judgments fairly; never favor any injustice, do not harbor long hatreds; avoid drunkenness and taking part in frivolous feasts.
“Be humble and good to one another; be faithful to your lords. Commit no robberies or perjuries, and avoid any acquaintance with those who commit them. Hatred, jealousy and violence separate us from the Kingdom of God. Reconcile with one another as soon as possible, for while it is human for men to sin, it is angelic to repent and diabolic to persevere in sin.
“Defend the Church of God and help her so that the priests of God can pray for us. Remember your promise in Baptism to renounce the Devil and his works. Do not return to him in anything; nor should you return to the works you have renounced, but rather follow the will of God as you have promised, and love the One who created you and gave you all the gifts and goods you possess.
“Each one should serve God faithfully in the place he finds himself. Wives should submit to their husbands in all goodness and modesty. They should avoid any dishonest action, and not poison others or be jealous, because those who do such actions are in revolt against God. They should raise their children in the fear of God, and give alms with a glad and joyous heart according to their means.
“Husbands should love their wives and speak no rude word to them; they should direct their homes with goodness and frequently gather in church. They should return to others what they owe them without murmuring, and with good will return to God what belongs to Him.
“Children should love and honor their parents; obey them in everything, and remain far from stealing, murdering and debaucheries.
“Clerics and canons should diligently obey the commands of their Bishops; they should live in their residences and not wander here and there among the people. Nor should they enter into secular questions. They should preserve their chastity: the reading of Holy Scriptures should remind them of their service to God and the Church.
“Monks should be faithful to the promises they made to God. They should not do anything against the will of their Abbots or seek any shameful personal benefit. They should know their rule by heart and follow it regularly, reminding themselves that it would be better not to have made any vow than to have made them and not be faithful to them.
“Dukes, counts and judges should be just with the people and merciful to the poor. They should never sell justice for money, and never allow a personal hatred to lead them to condemn an innocent man. They should always have these words of the Apostle in their hearts: ‘For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that which he has done, whether it be good or bad.’ (2 Cor. 5:10) The Lord expressed this by the following words: ‘For with what judgment you judge, you shall be judged’ (Matt 7:2); 'For there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; neither hidden, that shall not be known.' (Luke 12:2) ‘That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment’ (Matt 12:36).
"We must make an effort, therefore, with the help of God, to please Him in all our actions so that after this present life, we will merit eternal happiness in the company of the Saints of the Lord. This life is short, and the hour of death is uncertain. What matters except to be ready? Let us not forget how terrible it is to fall into the hands of the Lord. By means of confession, penance and alms, we make the Lord become merciful and clement. If He sees us turn to Him with a sincere heart, He will show us pity and will have mercy on us.
“May God grant us prosperity in this life and an eternity with His Saints in the future life.
“God keep you, my beloved brothers!” (As translated by Hugh O’Reilly for the Tradition in Action website. Text found in Charles d’Hericault, Histoire Anecdotique de la France, Paris: Bloud & Barral, vol. 1, pp 301-304.)
Here one finds a view of civil leadership that has been rejected as “triumphalistic” by “Second” Vatican Council and the magisteria of the postconciliar antipopes and against which the forces of hell have been working overtime since the Renaissance and Protestant Revolution to overturn and to replace with the anti-Incarnational civil state of Modernity in Western nations and, ultimately with the godless civil state of the Chicoms that will only let citizens practice the true Faith on its terms and without any public display of the Cross of the Divine Redeemer. Charlemagne reigned at the beginnings of the glories of Christendom. The conciliar revolutionaries are in league with the diabolical forces that bring down upon men and their nations the wrath of the good God as Christendom’s perverted “replacement,” the Judeo-Masonic New World Order, seeks to cement its ties with all false religions to prepare the way for the coming of Antichrist.
While Robert Francis Prevost/Leo XIV has been correct to criticize the Iran War, he believes that “dialogue,” not Catholicism, is the “solution” when it is the cleaving of Christendom wrought by the Protestant Revolution that revived the old Roman Caesarism in the person of Henry VIII, who paved the way in turn for the Christophobic French Revolutionaries, Napoleon Bonaparte, Otto von Bismarck, the anticlerical, Judeo-Masonic leaders of the Italian Risorgimento, the Mexican and Spanish Marxists who waged war upon the Social Reign of Christ the King, and, of course, Bolshevism in Russia and in Eastern and Central Europe.
We have reached quite a state of affairs, therefore, when a American political appointee thinks that he can dictate to what he thinks is the Catholic Church, but if you think about it for a moment, the conciliar “popes” have been very obsequious with pro-abortion and pro-sodomite public officials and only speak out, even if correctly in the instance of the unjust and immoral Iran War, when those opposed to the globalist, anti-family, anti-life, statist agenda get elected and thus “threaten” the new world order.
Catholicism alone is the only path to order within souls and hence within among nations, and this is something that the conciliar “popes” reject out of hand, thus making a mockery of the life and martyrdom of a truly Catholic leader, Gabriel Garcia Moreno, President of Ecuador in South America, between August 10, 1869, and August 6, 1875. Consider the accomplishments, both spiritual and temporal, of this martyr for the Social Reign of Christ the King, during his second administration:
- Built the Main Seminary in Quito and Minor Dioceses in Ibarra, Riombamba and Loja.
- Brought the Mission Priests, called Lazarites, from France, so that they could be in charge of the Seminaries as teachers in the formation of the parish clergy.
- Organized the arrival of inspectors of the existing regular orders that had been established since colonial times in the hopes of reforming convent life.
- Brought the Sisters of Charity from France to manage the hospitals and orphanages.
- Brought the Sisters of Providence from Belgium for the education and care of orphan girls.
- Put the French Redemptorist Priests in charge of catechizing indigenous from the provinces of Chimborazo and Azuay in their native Quichua language.
- Entrusted the care and education of prostitutes to the French nuns of the Good Shepherd.
- Modernized the Studies of Medicine brining a surgeon and a clinical doctor from France to be professors in the Faculty.
- Created the Maternity Hospital under the direction of a French obstetrician.
- Began the famous Poly technical School bringing seven German Jesuit scholars as professors plus an Italian to teach the subjects of Architecture, Engineering, Machine Construction, Chemistry and Pharmacy, Metallurgy and Mining, Topography, Surveying, and Natural Sciences (Botany, Zoology, Geology, Meteorology, etc.).
- Constructed in the center of La Alameda Park, the Astronomical Observatory, providing it with the most precise instruments of that time.
- Established the Schools of Fine Arts and the National Conservatory of Music with Italian teachers and gave scholarships to Ecuadorian artists to go to Europe and perfect their knowledge.
- Initiated literacy for adults in barracks, jails and penitentiaries.
- Was the only governor to protest about the usurpation of the Pontifical States in 1871.
- Adopted the Decimal Metric System that had just been established in France.
- Established Standardized Schools for forming secular teachers, as well as indigenous teachers from Imbabura and Loja.
- Began construction of the Southern Railroad, called from Haguachi, under the direction of Engineer Kelly.
- Had the necessary material brought from Europe to set up telegraphic lines.
- Constructed 400 kilometers of country roads and 300 kilometers of highway.
- Ordered the dredging of the Guayas River and placing of lighthouses and buoys in the coasts to protect national navigation.
- Had Eucalyptus seeds brought from Australia.
- Created the Mortgage Bank for loans to farmers.
- Had the great project of bringing Benedictine Priests for administering a Model Farm and an Agriculture School, in the Canchacoto plateau.
- Projected the coming of ten thousands German Catholic families for colonizing the Amazon Region.
- Signed the executive order on the Decree of the Consecration of the Republic to the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
- Promulgated decrees of suppression for the vices of incest and alcoholism. (Francisco Salazar Alvarado, Encounter with History: Garcia Moreno, Catholic Leader of Latin America, published in the United States of America in 2006 by the Apostolate of Our Lady of Good Success, pp. 88-89.)
You want a description of what Christendom, that is, the Social Reign of Christ the King, in today's world would look like, my friends?
You have it right here.
A concern for the spiritual welfare of citizens combined with an effort to improve the temporal conditions of these citizens in light of their Last End.
This is the sort of Catholic vision that the naturalists, most of whom have never heard of Gabriel Garcia Moreno or his many accomplishments, mock and compare with the theocracies of the Protestant Revolt and Mohammedanism.
This is the sort of Catholic vision that the conciliar “popes” is impossible and even underisable to restore as pluralism is, an "irreversible" fact of life.
This is the sort of Catholic vision that should inspire us to reject the empty-headed naturalists of the false opposites of the "right" and the "left" as we seek to plant the seeds for the Social Reign of Christ the King in our own families, starting with Home Enthronement of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
Gabriel Garcia Moreno secured Ecuador's Consecration to the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus. The land that had been favored two centuries before with the apparitions of Our Lady of Good Success to Mother Mariana de Jesus Torres was favored by the presidency of a man who understand that the hearts of his citizens had to beat in unison with the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus:
The Consecration of Ecuador to the Sacred Heart of Jesus filled his religious and political opposition with fury.
Jesuit Father Manuel Jose Proano had written to the President a letter suggesting the possibility of the consecration, and the President responded in a letter, demonstrating his parallel thoughts.
The following are excerpts of the letter:
"There can be no more plausible idea nor more agreeable in sentiments this idea that stimulates me to promote in all sense the prosperity and happiness of the country, whose government has been entrusted to me by Divine Providence, providing it with the highest moral and religious perfection, which calls us to the practical utterance of Catholicism. I recognize the faith of the Ecuadorian people; and that faith imposes on me, the sacred duty of conserving their deposit intact, even if it were at the cost of my own life. I do not fear men, because God is much higher!... And if, in that time, it was the undeniable duty of every sincere son of the Church, to confirm the faith of the heart with the most explicit, re-iterated and solemn utterances of the lips, this doubtlessly true in the present period, when still among the believing people, the endemic illness of the century is weakness of character. I am hated, I am abhorred; but I, in the observance of our Father, Jesus, recognize myself as unworthy of such glory. I do not fear men, then, but I say: Is Ecuador a worthy offering for the Heart of the God-Man?... The Heart is holy, immaculate; and have we achieved enough moralization of the peoples?... Have we sanctified the domestic home?... Does justice reign in the Forum, peace in the families, harmony among the citizens, fervor in the churches?... The Heart of Jesus is the throne of Wisdom: and do the Ecuadorian people accept all His teachings, are they docile and submissive to this Divine teaching, do they receive and accept lovingly His inspirations, do they refuse all the errors of the century and overcome all present perversion of ideas?...I do not fear men, but I fear that this country is still not a worthy offering for the Heart of Jesus Christ. We ask the Lord with fervent prayers to send us saintly missionaries, tireless apostles; that at least fifty priests who are charitable and zealous to travel throughout all the territory, visit our peoples, without leaving any corner untouched, teach and practice the Gospel, and convert, and then present a people purified with divine blood and pure hearts to God; then, we will raise a new Church to the Divine Heart..." (Francisco Salazar Alvarado, Encounter with History: Garcia Moreno, Catholic Leader of Latin America, published in the United States of America in 2006 by the Apostolate of Our Lady of Good Success, pp. 94-96.)
The Catholicity expressed by the late Gabriel Garcia Moreno in this letter is what should resonate deep—and very deep—into the heart and soul of every single Catholic on the face of this earth, including the "pluralistic" United States of America, as we refuse to make any compromise with the "errors of the century" and as we overcome with the graces sent to us by Our Lady "all present perversion of ideas."
The mind of Gabriel Garcia Moreno was filled only with Catholicism. Nothing else:
"There is no morality without Religion."
"All our small advances would be short-lived and untruthful, if we did not found the social order of our Republic on the Rock of the Catholic Church, always combated against yet always the conqueror."
"Our rapid progress will not serve for anything if the Republic does not advance daily in morality, in accordance with the reform of customs by the free action and salvation of the Catholic Church."
"I must confess, in all justice, that we owe everything to God, not only the growing prosperity of our small Republic, but also the means I employ for developing it, and even the desire that He has inspired me to work for HIs glory."
"Oh that God illuminate me, direct me in all things, and grant me the grace to die in defense of the Faith and Holy Church!"
"We will preserve the true Faith of our elders unharmed, even at the cost of our own life."
"The hope of every true Catholic must be founded, after God, on The Holy Virgin Mary."
"We who feel daily the effects of the continuous protection of Divine Providence; who see our incomes increased threefold in seventy-two percent, without new contributions, with actively continued spacious and comfortable communication roads, with public education developed progressively at all levels, with charitable organizations extended and multiplied to relieve the unfortunate and above all, with habits improved in accordance with the awakening of religious sentiment in the people, we are far from attributing to ourselves the merit we do not have, and recognize thankfully that we only owe to God the prosperity the Republic enjoys, since it constituted itself in 1869 as a Catholic nation."
"Hope would have abandoned me if I had not raised my eyes and heart to Heaven. . . ."
"The enemies of God and the Church can kill me; but GOD DOES NOT DIE!"
"If my enemies attack me for some crime I have committed, I ask their pardon and will try to mend my ways; but they conspire against me because I really love my Nation, because I try to save its most precious treasure--the Faith--, as I am and show myself to be the submissive son of the Church [...]; I must not, then, answer them any other thing than GOD DOES NOT DIE!"
"A true friend of liberty is he who tries to moralize his country; that he attempts to rectify social injustices and associates himself with good men to work tirelessly in favor of the Nation."
"The greatest enemies of our independence are licentiousness, demagogy and anarchy." (Francisco Salazar Alvarado, Encounter with History: Garcia Moreno, Catholic Leader of Latin America, published in the United States of America in 2006 by the Apostolate of Our Lady of Good Success, pp. 99-101.)
Gabriel Garcia Moreno did indeed pay with his life for his efforts to make Catholicism the one and only foundation of personal and social order in Ecuador. What did he say to the machete-wielding assassin, Faustino Rayo, as he, Moreno, staggered from the blows to the head that he received on the Feast of the Transfiguration of Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, August 6, 1875:
"GOD DOES NOT DIE!" (Francisco Salazar Alvarado, Encounter with History: Garcia Moreno, Catholic Leader of Latin America, published in the United States of America in 2006 by the Apostolate of Our Lady of Good Success, p. 41.)
Gabriel Garcia Moreno's martyrdom on behalf of the Social Reign of Christ the King produced the Consecration of Ecuador to the Immaculate Heart of Mary by the bishops of that country seventeen years later, in the year 1892. Paying homage to his fallen predecessor, President Luis Cordero Crespo ordered that a decree by the legislature of Ecuador also consecrated the country to the "Immaculate Heart of Mary, and recognizes the August Mother of God as the sublime Queen, Most Beloved Mother and special protector of this Republic" that was passed on August 5, 1892, be executed on August 6, 1892, the seventeenth anniversary of Gabriel Garcia Moreno's martyrdom. The Apostle of the Social Reign of the Sacred Heart of Jesus in Ecuador won from eternity the consecration of his beloved country to the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
Our Lady has given us many defenders of the Social Reign of Christ the King in the Americas, including Father Miguel Augustin Pro, S.J., who was put to death by the Masonic revolutionaries in Mexico on November 23 1927, saying to the members of the firing squad after he had kissed his Crucifx and "stood with his arms outstretched in the form of a cross:"
"May God have mercy on you. May God bless you. Lord, You know that I am innocent. With all my heart, I forgive my enemies." As the gendarmes took aim, in a firm, clear voice, he spoke his last words: "Viva Cristo Rey!"--"Long live Christ the King." (Ann Ball, [Blessed] Miguel Pro: 20th Century American Martyr, TAN Books and Publishers, 1996, p. 80.)
Can Our Lady count on you and on me to be willing to lay down our lives on behalf of the Social Reign of Christ the King?
Can Our Lady count on us to make reparation of our sins and those of the whole world by offering to her Immaculate Heart with love and with joy all of our prayers and sufferings and humiliations and calumnies and mortifications and penances for the re-conversion of the Americas to the Catholic Faith?
Can Our Lady count on us to pray as many Rosaries each day as our states-in-life permit to the see the reign of error and deceit, foisted upon us by the forces of the Protestant Revolt and the rise of Judeo-Masonry with which the counterfeit church of conciliarism has made its "reconciliation," will end sooner rather than later as a result of the fulfillment of her Fatima Message?
Let us beg Our Lady for the graces we need to live holily so that we can be prepared to die a good death.
Remember, it is our divine election in the Baptismal font as disciples of Christ the King and His true Church that requires us to be defenders of the truth Faith who do not look for salvation in the princes on this world, in the children of men in who there is no salvation.
