Lavender Friendly Leo Strikes Again
It should be clear by now that Robert Francis Prevost/Leo XIV was being absolutely serious when he said that he wanted to follow the legacy, such as it is, of his immediate predecessor, the pestilential demon in human form named Jorge Mario Bergoglio, in being “open” and “inclusive” towards the allegedly “marginalized” people who narcissistically base their human self-identity upon their commission of perverse sins against nature.
Although he did not meet with self-identified “LGBTQI?” pilgrims personally on Saturday, September 6, 2025, Robert Francis Prevost/Leo XIV gave his permission for them to process into the Basilica of Saint Peter on that day so that a presbyter from among their own ranks could stage the Protestant and Judeo-Masonic liturgical abomination for them their rainbow banners of perversity and indecency raised high:
Hundreds of L.G.B.T.Q. Catholics processed through the Holy Door in St. Peter’s Basilica on Saturday to officially participate in the church’s quarter-centennial festival of renewal and forgiveness, a marked sign of acceptance in a church in which many felt shunned or excluded until recently.
“It was a very special moment” for such Catholics to feel embraced, said Tyrone Grima, of Malta, who attended the event. For too long, they had “to hide, living in shame and guilt,” said Nathalie de Williencourt, whose son is gay. Participating in the festival, known as a Jubilee pilgrimage, signaled greater public visibility and welcome, she said.
Francis DeBernardo, who runs New Ways Ministry, a Maryland-based group that promotes inclusion in the church, contrasted this Jubilee pilgrimage with the last one he took in 2000, when the Roman Catholic Church had spent months lobbying unsuccessfully to cancel the first WorldPride, which had been organized to take place in Rome that summer.
Speaking from a balcony overlooking St. Peter’s Square on the Sunday after the pride parade, Pope John Paul II had expressed “bitterness,” saying WorldPride was an affront to the church and the “Christian values” of the Italian capital.
“And here we are, 25 years later, and L.G.B.T.Q. people are going to go through the Holy Door as a group,” Mr. De Bernardo said. Organizers said some 1,400 people from 22 countries participated.
Pope Leo XIV did not individually welcome the contingent at a Jubilee audience on Saturday morning, as he did with some other groups in attendance.
But speaking at the Mass for those pilgrims at a Jesuit church on Saturday, Bishop Francesco Savino — one of the top clerics in the Italian Bishops Conference — said that Leo, “with great tenderness, and great sweetness,” had given him his blessing to celebrate the Jubilee organized by these organizations.
In his homily, he noted that in the Bible, a Jubilee “was the time to free the oppressed and restore dignity to those who had been denied it.” Bishop Savino paused briefly to add: “Brothers and sisters, I say this with emotion. It is time to restore dignity to everyone, especially those who have been denied it.” His words were greeted with a standing ovation that lasted over a minute.
But in a 2023 interview with Catholic News Service when he became a cardinal, Leo acknowledged that things had changed since 2012, and that the church had “to open and to be welcoming.” He said Francis had “made it very clear that he doesn’t want people to be excluded simply on the basis of choices that they make, whether it be lifestyle, work, way to dress or whatever.”
A Brief Interjection:
No one is morally free to “choose” to do and to persist in that which is evil, no less to do and to persist in a sin that cries out to Heaven for vengeance.
To reaffirm those living lives of perversity by claiming that they had made “lifestyle choices” is to confer the status of legitimacy on such choices and to confirm that they can indeed base their human self-identity on the basis of their freely chosen decisions to ignore the binding precepts of the Divine Positive Law and the Natural Law.
A “church” that is “open” and “welcoming” to unrepentant sinners is a “church” that is not of Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, Who will not “welcome” nor “include” those in Heaven who died in states of final impenitence.
We return now to the news report in The New York Times:
Earlier in the week, Leo had an official audience with the Rev. James Martin, a Jesuit and well-known proponent of outreach to these Catholics. In an interview, he said the pontiff had “encouraged me in my ministry.”
Mr. DeBernardo was more cautious. “I think we still have to wait to see how Leo’s going to follow those footsteps, ” he said.
The pilgrimage was listed in the Vatican’s official calendar of the many events taking place during the 2025 Holy Year.
Alessandro Previti, one of the organizers of the pilgrimage, said the Vatican had put the group on the calendar following years of dialogue between Jonathan’s Tent, an Italian advocacy group, and “key members of the Vatican and pastoral workers.”
“We are welcome first and foremost as Christians who are L.G.B.T.Q., so we are at home,” he said, adding, “It’s about time.” (L.G.B.T.Q. Catholics Have Jubilee With Pope’s Blessing, if Not His Presence.)
Robert Francis Prevost’s decision to permit perverts, miscreants, and mutants to pridefully process into the Basilica of Saint Peter and then have a like-minded presbyter reaffirm them in their delusional belief that the Catholic Church, she who is in the inerrant, spotless, infallible, and virginal Mystical Spouse of her Divine Founder, Invisible Head, and Mystical Bridegroom, Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, is to embolden these unrepentant sinners in the delusions that they have been the victims of exclusion by Holy Mother Church and to thus encourage them to believe that the Catholic Church had been wrong about sodomy and sodomites until the antipapal reigns of Jorge Mario Bergoglio and Robert Francis Prevost/Leo XIV.
None of this is “accidental” nor can any sane and rational Catholic can exclaim, “Gee, if only Leo knew” because “Pope Leo” himself appointed a woman, Cristina Ferrella, to be the president of the Pontifical Academy for Fine Arts and Letters of the Virtuosi al Pantheon even though (or perhaps because) of her promotion of graphically perverse “artists” who glorify sins that cry out to Heaven for vengeance in ways that defy description:
VATICAN CITY (LifeSiteNews) — Pope Leo XIV has named a female “artist” who published homoerotic and sadomasochistic photographs as the new president of the Pontifical Academy for Fine Arts.
The Vatican announced on Saturday that the pope appointed Roman museum director Cristiana Perrella to the position. The Pontifical Academy for Fine Arts and Letters of the Virtuosi al Pantheon was founded in 1542 by Pope Paul III for the purpose of promoting, studying, and cultivating sacred art and Christian-inspired literature.
Perrella is known as an “expert” in contemporary art. She has been director of the MACRO museum in Rome since March of this year and previously taught “cultural management” at the San Raffaele University in Milan.
Perrella has hosted multiple obscene, pro-LGBT, and sadomasochistic displays in the past. In 2020, she curated an exhibition called “Nudes” featuring 90 photographs by Chinese artist Ren Hang at the Centro per l’arte contemporanea Luigi Pecci in Prato, Italy. Most of the photographs showed naked persons, with some of them featuring homoerotic poses. The official exhibition description stated that some of the photos “at times refer to sadomasochism and fetishism.”
In 2019, the Italian artist directed the exhibition “Night Fever: Designing Club Culture 1960–Today.” The display promoted nightclub culture and featured sexualized, pro-LGBT exposés. In an interview with Sleek magazine, she lamented that nightclubs are “increasingly under threat” due to closures. The exhibition also highlighted “queer club culture,” and Perrella stressed the role of nightclubs for the LGBT movement, since clubs “were places where people could be themselves and affirm their identity publically [sic].”
In 2021, Perrella curated an exhibition titled “Cult Fiction,” featuring photographs from Marialba Russo documenting the explicit advertisement posters for pornographic movies that were seen on the streets of Aversa and Naples during the late 1970s and early 1980s. The theme of the exhibition was “sexual liberation.”
Perrella has been a member of the Pontifical Academy for Fine Arts since June 2022, when she was appointed by Pope Francis. Perrella is responsible for the program of the “Conciliazione 5” exhibition space of the Dicastery for Culture and Education of the Holy See, which was inaugurated for the Holy Year 2025. In the wake of the jubilee, she also curated a site-specific art installation in Rome’s Rebibbia prison, where Pope Francis opened his own Holy Door on December 26, 2024.
Pope Leo has recently met with several prominent heretics, including the infamous Jesuit Father James Martin, the pro-abortion nun Sr. Lucia Caram, and the head of the German Bishops’ Conference, Georg Bätzing. While the Vatican did not signal support for their views, the Holy See also offered no condemnation of their promotion of errors in matters of faith and morals. The appointment of Perrella to her new position adds to the concern of many faithful Catholics that the Holy See is tolerating and even promoting heterodoxy. (Pope Leo names pro-LGBT 'artist' who hosted obscene exhibits to lead Vatican's Academy for Fine Arts.)
The Lifesite News authors continue to refuse to admit that the conciliar Vatican has been promoting heterodoxy since Angelo Roncalli stepped out on the loggia of the Basilica of Saint Peter on October 28, 1958. Please see Robert Francis Prevost/Leo XIV and His Boys in the Band for a partial listing of the ways in which the conciliar set has been promoting heresies in the past nearly sixty-seven years.
No one can claim that he loves Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ can choose a purveyor of perverted works of alleged “art” that celebrate sin, the very thing that caused Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ to sweat droplets of His Most Precious Blood during his Agony in the Garden of Gethsemane and caused Him to be betrayed by Judas Iscariot, abandoned by all but one of His eleven remaining Apostles, arrested, tried unjustly and denied by Saint Peter three times, sentenced to death by Pontius Pilate after His own people, motivated by our own sins having transcended time, cried out “Give us Barrabas!”, scourged at the pillar, crowned with thorns, mocked on the Via Dolorosa, and then crucified to die on the wood of the Holy Cross to redeem us from sin by making atonement for our sins by offering Himself in Spirit and in Truth to His Co-Equal, Co-Eternal God the Father.
Much like Joseph Alois Ratzinger/Benedict XVI and Jorge Mario Bergoglio before him, Robert Francis Prevost/Leo XIV has no horror of sin, how it caused Our Lord to suffer during His Passion and Death on the wood of the Holy Cross on Friday as His Most Blessed Mother’s Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart was pierced with the Fourth through Seventh Swords of Sorrow, and how it darkens the intellect and weakens the will of baptized Catholics and thus contributes the worsening of the state of the Church Militant on earth and of the world-at-large.
This is why Prevost/Leo can remain so equanimous when speaking to the head of the conciliar “bishops” in the Federal Republic of Germany as he told his fellow heretic that he, Prevost/Leo, “accompanies” the conciliar sect in Germany with “trust”:
(LifeSiteNews) — Bishop Georg Bätzing has said that Pope Leo XIV “accompanies the Church in Germany with trust” after his first private audience with the Roman Pontiff.
On September 4, Leo received Bätzing, the head of the German bishops’ conference, in a private audience for the first time since becoming Pope.
The Holy See did not comment on the meeting, but Bätzing released the following statement after the audience:
I am grateful for today’s meeting with Pope Leo XIV and the good and meaningful conversation we were able to have. Before he was elected Pope, I had the opportunity to meet the Holy Father several times in recent years, not least during the World Synod. And now, too, I found him to be an attentive listener and an interested pastor. We discussed many topics, which I will report on to the plenary assembly of the German Bishops’ Conference in Fulda in a few weeks. I am very pleased that Pope Leo XIV accompanies the Church in Germany with trust.
Bätzing is known for his radical heterodoxy. He has openly defied Church teaching, endorsing homosexual acts, women’s ordination, and gender ideology. As the head of the German Bishops’ Conference, he was the leader of the German Synodal Way, which published multiple heretical documents.
During the Synodal Way meetings, more than two-thirds of the German bishops voted for documents that are contrary to Church teaching on a number of issues, including homosexual acts, same-sex “blessings,” women’s ordinations, and transgenderism.
The Pope has recently met with several prominent dissenters, including the infamous Jesuit Father James Martin, as well as the pro-abortion nun Sr. Lucia Caram. While the Vatican did not signal support for their views, the Holy See also offered no condemnation of their promotion of errors in matters of faith and morals. (Bishop Bätzing says Pope Leo is ‘accompanying the Church in Germany with trust’ after meeting.)
Georg Batzing is simply carrying on the tradition of a former “president” of the conciliar “bishops” conference in Germany, Robert Zollitsch:
FREIBURG, Germany April 21, 2009 (LifeSiteNews.com) - According to the chairman of the Catholic bishops' conference of Germany, the death of Jesus Christ was not a redemptive act of God to liberate human beings from the bondage of sin and open the gates of heaven. The Archbishop of Freiburg, Robert Zollitsch, known for his liberal views, publicly denied the fundamental Christian dogma of the sacrificial nature of Christ's death in a recent interview with a German television station.
Zollitsch said that Christ "did not die for the sins of the people as if God had provided a sacrificial offering, like a scapegoat."
Instead, Jesus had offered only "solidarity" with the poor and suffering. Zollitsch said "that is this great perspective, this tremendous solidarity."
The interviewer asked, "You would now no longer describe it in such a way that God gave his own son, because we humans were so sinful? You would no longer describe it like this?"
Monsignor Zollitsch responded, "No."
Archbishop Robert Zollitsch was appointed to the See of Freiburg im Breisgau in 2003 under Pope John Paul II. He is he sitting Chairman of the German Episcopal Conference, to which he was elected in 2008 and is regarded as a "liberal" in the German episcopate.
In February 2008 he said that priestly celibacy should be voluntary and that it is not "theologically necessary." Zollitsch has also said he accepts homosexual civil unions by states, but is against same-sex "marriage."
He told Meinhard Schmidt-Degenhard, the program's host, that God gave "his own son in solidarity with us unto this last death agony to show: 'So much are you worth to me, I go with you, and I am totally with you in every situation'."
"He has become involved with me out of solidarity - from free will."
Christ, he said, had "taken up what I have been blamed for, including the evil that I have caused, and also to take it back into the world of God and hence to show me the way out of sin, guilt and from death to life." (Christ did not die for the sins of His people).
This statement was heretical then and it remains so today.
What did Joseph Alois Ratzinger/Benedict XVI do about this?
Nothing.
What did Joseph Alois Ratzinger/Benedict XVI say about this?
Nothing.
Zollitsch continued as the conciliar “archbishop” of Freiburg im Bresgau until he turned seventy-five years of age in 2013, five months after the now deceased Ratzinger/Benedict had resigned from the conciliar seat of apostasy. Not one word of rebuke of him was ever uttered by the “new theologian” who made warfare against the nature of dogmatic truth throughout the course of his priestly life and who personally esteemed the symbols of false religions with his own priestly hands while frequently saying that all “religions” play a role in promoting “peace.”
Why?
Because Pader Ratzinger himself did not believe in the horror of personal sin, which he committed all the time when praising false religions and saying such things as a “Jewish reading of the Bible is possible one”:
In its work, the Biblical Commission could not ignore the contemporary context, where the shock of the Shoah has put the whole question under a new light. Two main problems are posed: Can Christians, after all that has happened, still claim in good conscience to be the legitimate heirs of Israel's Bible? Have they the right to propose a Christian interpretation of this Bible, or should they not instead, respectfully and humbly, renounce any claim that, in the light of what has happened, must look like a usurpation? The second question follows from the first: In its presentation of the Jews and the Jewish people, has not the New Testament itself contributed to creating a hostility towards the Jewish people that provided a support for the ideology of those who wished to destroy Israel? The Commission set about addressing those two questions. It is clear that a Christian rejection of the Old Testament would not only put an end to Christianity itself as indicated above, but, in addition, would prevent the fostering of positive relations between Christians and Jews, precisely because they would lack common ground. In the light of what has happened, what ought to emerge now is a new respect for the Jewish interpretation of the Old Testament. On this subject, the Document says two things. First it declares that “the Jewish reading of the Bible is a possible one, in continuity with the Jewish Scriptures of the Second Temple period, a reading analogous to the Christian reading, which developed in parallel fashion” (no. 22). It adds that Christians can learn a great deal from a Jewish exegesis practised for more than 2000 years; in return, Christians may hope that Jews can profit from Christian exegetical research (ibid.). I think this analysis will prove useful for the pursuit of Judeo-Christian dialogue, as well as for the interior formation of Christian consciousness. (Joseph Ratzinger, Preface to The Jewish People and Their Scriptures in the Christian Bible.)
The late Joseph Alois Ratzinger/Benedict XVI had such little regard for the horror of personal sin that he said in an interview with the Eternally Wishful Television Network (EWTN) in 2000 that he had “nothing against” those who go to what they think is Mass only several times a year:
Joseph Alois “Cardinal” Ratzinger, who said twenty-two that he had “no problem” with those Catholics who only attended what they thought was Holy Mass several times a year:
I have nothing against people who, though they never enter a church during the year, go to Christmas midnight Mass, or go on the occasion of some other celebration, because this is also a way of coming close to the light. Therefore, there must be different forms of involvement and participation. (CARDINAL RATZINGER ON THE FUTURE OF CHRISTIANITY).
Ratzinger's lack of regard for the Third Commandment was but a logical consequence for the lack of regard that he had for the First and Second Commandments as he had, as Benedict XVI, personally esteemed the symbols of five false religions with his priestly hands and has said that "Christians and Jews pray to the same Lord" and has called mosques and synagogues and even a mountain in Japan, Mount Hiei, atop which the Buddhists worship their devils as "sacred" places.
One who can so flagrantly violate the First and Second Commandments with such utter impunity demonstrates in the objective order of things, leaving aside subjective culpability solely to God Himself, Who alone knows the interior dispositions of souls, that he does not understand Who God is or what He has revealed to us through His true Church. This lack of understanding of the identity of God flowed logically from Ratzinger/Benedict's lack of understanding of the nature of God and His Revelation, believing that the expressions of dogmatic truth are contingent on the historical circumstances in which they were formulated. One who gets such basic things wrong is not going to have much of a real sense of the horror of personal sin and how to respond to it appropriately, something that the deceased “new theologian” had very much in common with his much more vulgar, venal, and profane successor in the conciliar seat of apostasy.
The late Jorge Mario Bergoglio, for his part, disparaged the Ten Commandments in the mode of Martin Luther and some of lieutenants within the conciliar hierarchy have gone so far as to doubt the very existence of the Natural Law, which is inscribed on the very flesh of our hearts but of which Holy Mother Church is the authoritative interpreter, and this egregious apostate has gone out of his way to engage in acts of such utter religious indifferentism and naturalism that would have made even the Arians, Donatists, and Nestorians of yore blush with shame.
Perhaps the zenith of Bergoglio’s madness was his Judeo-Masonic Document on Human Fraternity for World Peace and Living Together that he signed in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, on February 4, 2019, that made not one reference to Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, He Who is the very King of Kings and Prince of Peace Who has said that “without Me, you can do nothing". It is very easy to denigrate the gravity of sins against Holy Purity when one has grown comfortable directly violating the First through Fifth Commandments, although it should also be noted that it is more commonly the case that one can grow comfortable violating the First through Fifth Commandments if he is living a life of sin against the Sixth and Ninth Commandments, something that characterized he lives of both Martin Luther and Henry VIII before their respective revolutions against the true Church founded by Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ Himself.
To be so sanguine about perverse sins against Holy Purity, men such as Jorge Mario Bergoglio and Robert Francis Prevost have to ignore or deconstruct the plain words of Sacred Scripture that plainly condemn sodomy in no uncertain terms:
[13] If any one lie with a man as with a woman, both have committed an abomination, let them be put to death: their blood be upon them. [14] If any man after marrying the daughter, marry her mother, he hath done a heinous crime: he shall be burnt alive with them: neither shall so great an abomination remain in the midst of you. [15] He that shall copulate with any beast or cattle, dying let him die, the beast also ye shall kill. (Leviticus 20: 13-15.)
For this cause God delivered them up to shameful affections. For their women have changed the natural use into that use which is against nature. And, in like manner, the men also, leaving the natural use of the women, have burned in their lusts one towards another, men with men working that which is filthy, and receiving in themselves the recompense which was due to their error. And as they liked not to have God in their knowledge, God delivered them up to a reprobate sense, to do those things which are not convenient; Being filled with all iniquity, malice, fornication, avarice, wickedness, full of envy, murder, contention, deceit, malignity, whisperers, Detractors, hateful to God, contumelious, proud, haughty, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, foolish, dissolute, without affection, without fidelity, without mercy. Who, having known the justice of God, did not understand that they who do such things, are worthy of death; and not only they that do them, but they also that consent to them that do them. (Romans 1: 18-32.)
[9] Know you not that the unjust shall not possess the kingdom of God? Do not err: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, [10] Nor the effeminate, nor liers with mankind, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor railers, nor extortioners, shall possess the kingdom of God. (1 Cor. 6: 9)
[1] Jude, the servant of Jesus Christ, and brother of James: to them that are beloved in God the Father, and preserved in Jesus Christ, and called. [2] Mercy unto you, and peace, and charity be fulfilled. [3] Dearly beloved, taking all care to write unto you concerning your common salvation, I was under a necessity to write unto you: to beseech you to contend earnestly for the faith once delivered to the saints. [4] For certain men are secretly entered in, (who were written of long ago unto this judgment,) ungodly men, turning the grace of our Lord God into riotousness, and denying the only sovereign Ruler, and our Lord Jesus Christ. [5] I will therefore admonish you, though ye once knew all things, that Jesus, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, did afterwards destroy them that believed not:
[6] And the angels who kept not their principality, but forsook their own habitation, he hath reserved under darkness in everlasting chains, unto the judgment of the great day. [7] As Sodom and Gomorrha, and the neighbouring cities, in like manner, having given themselves to fornication, and going after other flesh, were made an example, suffering the punishment of eternal fire. [8] In like manner these men also defile the flesh, and despise dominion, and blaspheme majesty. [9] When Michael the archangel, disputing with the devil, contended about the body of Moses, he durst not bring against him the judgment of railing speech, but said: The Lord command thee. [10] But these men blaspheme whatever things they know not: and what things soever they naturally know, like dumb beasts, in these they are corrupted.
[11] Woe unto them, for they have gone in the way of Cain: and after the error of Balaam they have for reward poured out themselves, and have perished in the contradiction of Core. [12] These are spots in their banquets, feasting together without fear, feeding themselves, clouds without water, which are carried about by winds, trees of the autumn, unfruitful, twice dead, plucked up by the roots, [13] Raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own confusion; wandering stars, to whom the storm of darkness is reserved for ever. [14] Now of these Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied, saying: Behold, the Lord cometh with thousands of his saints, [15] To execute judgment upon all, and to reprove all the ungodly for all the works of their ungodliness, whereby they have done ungodly, and of all the hard things which ungodly sinners have spoken against God.
[16] These are murmurers, full of complaints, walking according to their own desires, and their mouth speaketh proud things, admiring persons for gain' s sake. [17] But you, my dearly beloved, be mindful of the words which have been spoken before by the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ, [18] Who told you, that in the last time there should come mockers, walking according to their own desires in ungodlinesses. [19] These are they, who separate themselves, sensual men, having not the Spirit. [20] But you, my beloved, building yourselves upon your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost,
[21] Keep yourselves in the love of God, waiting for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ, unto life everlasting. [22] And some indeed reprove, being judged:[23] But others save, pulling them out of the fire. And on others have mercy, in fear, hating also the spotted garment which is carnal. [24] Now to him who is able to preserve you without sin, and to present you spotless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, in the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ,[25] To the only God our Saviour through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory and magnificence, empire and power, before all ages, and now, and for all ages of ages. Amen. (Jude 1-25.)
There are no “loopholes” in these passages.
This all reminds me of the March 22, 1931, editorial in The Washington Post that I have quoted many times on this site:
The Federal Council of Churches in America some time ago appointed a committee on "marriage and the home," which has now submitted a report favoring a "careful and restrained" use of contraceptive devices to regulate the size of families. The committee seems to have a serious struggle with itself in adhering to Christian doctrine while at the same time indulging in amateurish excursions in the field of economics, legislation, medicine, and sociology. The resulting report is a mixture of religious obscurantism and modernistic materialism which departs from the ancient standards of religion and yet fails to blaze a path toward something better.
The mischief that would result from an an attempt to place the stamp of church approval upon any scheme for "regulating the size of families" is evidently quite beyond the comprehension of this pseudo-scientific committee. It is impossible to reconcile the doctrine of the divine institution of marriage with any modernistic plan for the mechanical regulation of human birth. The church must either reject the plain teachings of the Bible or reject schemes for the “scientific” production of human souls. Carried to its logical conclusion, the committee’s report if carried into effect would lead to the death-knell of marriage as a holy institution, by establishing degrading practices which would encourage indiscriminate immorality. The suggestion that the use of legalized contraceptives would be “careful and restrained” is preposterous. If the churches are to become organizations for political and 'scientific' propaganda they should be honest and reject the Bible, scoff at Christ as an obsolete and unscientific teacher, and strike out boldly as champions of politics and science as substitutes for the old-time religion. ("Forgetting Religion," Editorial, The Washington Post, March 22, 1931.)
There is no degrading practice that is beyond the capacity of the conciliar “popes” and “bishops”
o see as inconsonant with personal sanctity. What matters is “love” even though their conception of “love” is pure sentimentality having nothing to do with the nature of God’s love for us, which is why I am going to reprise a list that I have used so many scores of times before as a means of helping the reader who is relatively new to this site to understand how far the likes of Jams Martin and his pals are from any knowledge of Catholic Faith and Morals:
1) God's love for us is an act of His divine will, the ultimate expression of which is the salvation of our immortal souls.
2) Our love for others must be premised on willing for them what God wills for us: their salvation.
3) We love no one authentically if we do or say anything, either by omission or commission, which reaffirms him in a life of unrepentant sin.
4) God hates sin. He wills the sinner to repent of his sins by cooperating with the graces He won for them on the wood of the Holy Cross.
5) Sin is what caused Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ to suffer unspeakable horrors on the wood of the Holy Cross and caused His Most Blessed Mother's Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart to be thrust through with Seven Swords of Sorrow.
6) No one can say that he loves Our Lord or Our Lady if he persist in sin unrepentantly and/or celebrates the commission of sin in public acts of defiance against the binding precepts of the Divine positive law and the Natural Law.
7) Each sin darkens the intellect and weakens the will, inclining us all the more to sin and sin again. We must, therefore, resolve never to sin again and to do penance for our sins as Our Lady herself implored us to do when she appeared in th Cova da Iria near Fatima, Portugal, ninety years ago.
8) It is therefore forbidden for anyone of this parish or diocese to participate or support, whether morally or financially, any event whatsoever that celebrates any sin, whether natural or unnatural, and/or encourages people to persist in sin as a legitimate "lifestyle."
9) One of the Spiritual Works of Mercy is to admonish the sinner. We have an obligation to admonish those who are in lives on unrepentant sin to turn away from their lives of sin and to strive to pursue the heights of sanctity.
10) God has compassion on all erring sinners, meaning each one of us. He understands our weakness. He exhorts us, as He exhorted the woman caught in adultery, to "Go, and commit this sin no more."
11) It is not an act of "love" for people to persist in unrepentant sins with others.
12) It is not an act of "judgmentalness" or "intolerance" to exhort people who are living lives of unrepentant sin to reform their lives lest their souls wind up in Hell for eternity.
13) Mortal Sins cast out Sanctifying Grace from the soul. Those steeped in unrepentant mortal sin are the captives of the devil until they make a good and sincere Confession.
14) Certain sins cry out to Heaven for vengeance. Sodomy is one of the four sins that cry out to Heaven for vengeance.
15) Those engaged in natural or unnatural acts against the Sixth and Ninth Commandments do not "love" the individuals with whom they are sinning. Authentic love cannot exist in a soul committed to a life against the Commandments of God and the eternal welfare of one's own soul, no less the souls of others.
16) Those engaged in natural or unnatural acts against the Sixth and Ninth Commandments are not fit to adopt children.
17) Those engaged in natural or unnatural acts against the Sixth and Ninth Commandments are not fit to adopt children because their very sinful lives put into jeopardy the eternal of the souls of the children they seek to adopt. It is not possible for people who are sinning unrepentantly to teach children to hate sin as God hates sin. They are immersed in sin. Pope Pius XI put it this way in Casti Connubii, December 31,1930:
But Christian parents must also understand that they are destined not only to propagate and preserve the human race on earth, indeed not only to educate any kind of worshippers of the true God, but children who are to become members of the Church of Christ, to raise up fellow-citizens of the Saints, and members of God's household, that the worshippers of God and Our Savior may daily increase. (Pope Pius XI, Casti Connubii, December 31,1930.)
18) Those engaged in unnatural, perverse acts against the Sixth and Ninth Commandments are further unfit to adopt children because they have no right in the Divine positive law or the natural law to live together as a "couple." Once again, Pope Pius XI's Casti Connubii:
Nor must We omit to remark, in fine, that since the duty entrusted to parents for the good of their children is of such high dignity and of such great importance, every use of the faculty given by God for the procreation of new life is the right and the privilege of the married state alone, by the law of God and of nature, and must be confined absolutely within the sacred limits of that state. (Pope Pius XI, Casti Connubii, December 31,1930.)
19) Those engaged in unnatural, perverse acts against the Sixth and Ninth Commandment have no right in the Divine positive law or the natural law to present a "model" of parenthood that is from the devil himself. The words that Saint Paul wrote about perversity in Rome in his own day are quite apropos of our own:
Wherefore God gave them up to the desires of their heart, unto uncleanness, to dishonour their own bodies among themselves. Who changed the truth of God into a lie; and worshipped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.
For this cause God delivered them up to shameful affections. For their women have changed the natural use into that use against which is their nature.
And in like manner, the men also, leaving the natural use of the women, have burned in their lusts one towards another, men with men working that which is filthy, and receiving in themselves the recompense which was due to their error.
Who, having known the justice of God, did not understand that they who do such things are worthy of death; and not only they that do them, but they also that consent to them that do them. (Romans 1: 24-32)
20) Matrimony was elevated to a Sacrament by Our Lord at the wedding feast in Cana. The Holy Sacrament of Matrimony is entered into by one man and by one woman to achieve these ends: the procreation and education of children, the mutual good of the spouses, a remedy for concupiscence. Pope Pius XI noted this in Casti Connubii:
This conjugal faith, however, which is most aptly called by St. Augustine the "faith of chastity" blooms more freely, more beautifully and more nobly, when it is rooted in that more excellent soil, the love of husband and wife which pervades all the duties of married life and holds pride of place in Christian marriage. For matrimonial faith demands that husband and wife be joined in an especially holy and pure love, not as adulterers love each other, but as Christ loved the Church. This precept the Apostle laid down when he said: "Husbands, love your wives as Christ also loved the Church,"[24] that Church which of a truth He embraced with a boundless love not for the sake of His own advantage, but seeking only the good of His Spouse.[25] The love, then, of which We are speaking is not that based on the passing lust of the moment nor does it consist in pleasing words only, but in the deep attachment of the heart which is expressed in action, since love is proved by deeds. This outward expression of love in the home demands not only mutual help but must go further; must have as its primary purpose that man and wife help each other day by day in forming and perfecting themselves in the interior life, so that through their partnership in life they may advance ever more and more in virtue, and above all that they may grow in true love toward God and their neighbor, on which indeed "dependeth the whole Law and the Prophets." For all men of every condition, in whatever honorable walk of life they may be, can and ought to imitate that most perfect example of holiness placed before man by God, namely Christ Our Lord, and by God's grace to arrive at the summit of perfection, as is proved by the example set us of many saints.
This mutual molding of husband and wife, this determined effort to perfect each other, can in a very real sense, as the Roman Catechism teaches, be said to be the chief reason and purpose of matrimony, provided matrimony be looked at not in the restricted sense as instituted for the proper conception and education of the child, but more widely as the blending of life as a whole and the mutual interchange and sharing thereof. (Pope Pius XI, Casti Connubii, December 31, 1930.)
21) It is never permissible to put even one child into spiritual, if not physical, jeopardy by claiming that so many others would be helped if the Church did not cooperate with an unjust law. Our Lord said that it would be better for one to have a millstone thrown around his neck and thrown into a lake than to lead one of his little ones astray. He was not joking.
22) Sinners must repent of the evil they have done in order to live lives of penance and mortification worthy of Saint Francis of Assisi.
A Catholic priest would not hesitate to make these points. Alas, men such as James Martin, who is not himself a validly ordained priest, is not a Catholic, which is why the late Jorge Mario Bergoglio personally selected him to speak at the “World Day for Families” in Ireland in 2018 just several months after the Irish voted in favor of perverted “marriage.”
Holy Mother Church has long taught that we must perform the Spiritual Works of Mercy by admonishing and that there are nine ways by which we can become accessories to the sins of others. Here is a little review for you:
The Spiritual Works of Mercy
- To instruct the ignorant.
- To counsel the doubtful.
- To admonish sinners.
- To bear wrongs patiently;
- To forgive offences willingly;
- To comfort the afflicted;
- To pray for the living and the dead.
Catholics also believe that there are nine ways that they can be accessories to the sins of others:
- 1. By counsel.
- 2. By command.
- 3. By consent.
- 4. By provocation.
- 5. By praise or flattery of the evil done.
- 6. By silence.
- 7. By connivance.
- 8. By partaking.
- 9. By defense of the ill done.
Conciliarism is by its very false nature uncharitable as it makes a mockery of the authentic, immutable teaching that Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ by making it appear that it is somehow opposed to tenderness and mercy to follow these words that Saint Paul wrote in his Second Epistle to Saint Timothy:
[1] I charge thee, before God and Jesus Christ, who shall judge the living and the dead, by his coming, and his kingdom: [2] Preach the word: be instant in season, out of season: reprove, entreat, rebuke in all patience and doctrine. [3] For there shall be a time, when they will not endure sound doctrine; but, according to their own desires, they will heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears: [4] And will indeed turn away their hearing from the truth, but will be turned unto fables. [5] But be thou vigilant, labour in all things, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill thy ministry. Be sober. (2 Tim. 4: 1-15.)
A physician does not "judge" anyone if he warns him what might happen if he does not stop engaging in a certain course of behavior that is deleterious to his bodily health.
Similarly, one who warns another about the state of his soul as he persists in a life of unrepentant sin is simply performing a fundamental Spiritual Work of Mercy, and those who are inclined to and/or steeped in perverse sins against nature are not to be left without being remonstrated as this is a duty of a Catholic before God and to the eternal and temporal good of the sinner.
It is one thing to sin and to be sorry and then to seek out the mercy of the Divine Redeemer in the Sacred Tribunal of Penance. It is quite another to persist in sin, no less perverse sins against nature, unrepentantly and to expect others to reaffirm him in those sins, whether explicitly by words of approval or implicitly by silence, which betokens consent. Catholics must judge the states of their own souls every night in their Examen of Conscience, and they have a duty to help others to recognize the serious states of sin into which they have plunged themselves, praying beforehand to God the Holy Ghost to fill them with wisdom and prudence so as to provide a warning in such a way that could plant a seed to get an unrepentant sinner to a true priest in the Sacred Tribunal of Penance.
There is really nothing more that needs to be written about men who, barring a miraculous conversion, will wind up being “welcomed” into hell by the adversary, who will then proceed to torture them for all eternity those who were stupid as to claim that “welcoming” practitioners of perverse sins against nature important enough for them to teach that, in essence, Holy Scripture is not inerrant and can be ignored with impunity in order not to offend the tender sensibilities of those steeped, objectively speaking, in one Mortal Sin after another.
Our Lady will lead us out of this mess in her Divine Son’s good time when a true pope consecrates Russia to her Immaculate Heart with all of the world’s true bishops.
As we lift the Cross of the Divine Redeemer, Christ the King, may every Rosary we pray help to console our Good God as we seek to make reparation for our own many sins and pray fervently for the conversion of all people to the true Church, outside of which there is no salvation and without which there can be true social order within nations nor a just peace among them.
