We Wait For Another, We Wait For Christ the King

by Thomas A. Droleskey

The day has arrived. The term of the outgoing naturalist, George Walker Bush, of the organized crime family of naturalism known as the Republican Party ends at noon, Eastern Standard Time, today, Tuesday, January 20, 2009, at which point the incoming naturalist, Barack Hussein Obama, of the organized crime family of naturalism known as the Democrat Party, will be sworn in as the forty-fourth President of the United States of America. The names change. Some of the policies will change. The basic premises of naturalism, which reject the necessity of each man and each nation subordinating themselves to the Deposit of Faith as It has been entrusted by Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ exclusively to the authority of the Catholic Church for Its infallible explication and eternal safekeeping, will remain the same.

The new President, Barack Hussein Obama, had the unmitigated hubris to state the following on "Super Tuesday," February 5, 2008:

Change will not come if we wait for some other person or if we wait for some other time. We are the ones we've been waiting for.

(APPLAUSE)

We are the change that we seek. We are the hope of those boys who have so little, who've been told that they cannot have what they dreamed, that they cannot be what they imagine.

Yes, they can. We are the hope of the father who goes to work before dawn and lies awake with doubt that tells him he cannot give his children the same opportunities that someone gave him.

Yes, he can.

We are the hope of the woman who hears that her city will not be rebuilt, that she cannot somehow claim the life that was swept away in a terrible storm.

Yes, she can.

We are the hope of the future, the answer to the cynics who tell us our house must stand divided, that we cannot come together, that we cannot remake this world as it should be. (Raw Data: Text of Barack Obama's Super Tuesday Speech

Mind you, Barack Hussein Obama believes his own narcissistic rhetoric. He really does believe that he is the "one" we have been waiting for. He believes in his promise of a naturalistic-based "hope." He believes in his vision of a naturalistic-based concept of "change." He will doubtless outline a program of this naturalistic "change" and "hope," couched in his ever self-confident rhetoric and demeanor, in his inaugural address today (which I will review after the fact--we will be at Holy Mass at the time he delivers it--and assess on this site in a commentary to be posted tomorrow, the Feast of Saint Agnes, Wednesday, January 21, 2009), calling upon Americans to "unite" behind his "vision" of "service" for the common good.

Most Americans, including most Catholics in the United States of America, seem poised to accept the rhetoric. Large numbers of Americans seem positively giddy about the presidential inauguration that will take place today. Looking only at the superficialities of Barack Hussein Obama's ancestry and ignoring the substance of his beliefs and his public policy proposals, many Americans consider this day to mark a stage in the "maturation" of the United States of America as a man whose father was a native of Kenya ascends to the Presidency of the United States of America.

I dissent.

This is not a day of celebration. This is a day of reparation. Over four thousand innocent babies in their mothers' wombs will be slaughtered this day under cover of the civil law by surgical means. Countless thousands of others will die by means of contraceptive pills and devices. Scores upon scores will die was a result of privately-funded embryonic stem-cell research. This is no day of celebration whatsoever. This is a day of mourning. This is a day of reparation.

Barack Hussein Obama believes that women have a "constitutionally protected" "right to privacy" that permits them to "choose" to "terminate" the lives of their preborn children under cover of law. This is what Obama said in his third and final debate with United States Senator John Sidney McCain III (who is being coopted at the present time by Obama's quite open efforts to make him an active supporter of the new administration's policies) at Hofstra University, Hempstead, New York, on Wednesday, October 15, 2008:

The last point I want to make on the issue of abortion. This is an issue that -- look, it divides us. And in some ways, it may be difficult to -- to reconcile the two views.

But there surely is some common ground when both those who believe in choice and those who are opposed to abortion can come together and say, "We should try to prevent unintended pregnancies by providing appropriate education to our youth, communicating that [the gift of the transmission of life] is sacred and that they should not be engaged in cavalier activity, and providing options for adoption, and helping single mothers if they want to choose to keep the baby."

Those are all things that we put in the Democratic platform for the first time this year, and I think that's where we can find some common ground, because nobody's pro-abortion. I think it's always a tragic situation. (October 15, 2008: The Third McCain-Obama Presidential Debate.)

"Common ground" between "who believe in choice" and those who are opposed to abortion"? A "choice" to do what, President Obama? A "choice" to kill a living human being. There are no "choices" to be made when a woman discovers that she is expecting a child. There are only duties to fulfill in according with the binding precepts of the Divine Positive Law and the Natural Law as they have been entrusted by Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ to the Catholic Church for their infallible explication and eternal safekeeping. There are no "choices" whatsoever. None.

The use of the word "choice" has been and continues to be nothing other than a diabolical euphemism designed to mask the reality that a human being with a distinctive immortal soul and a genetic code all of his own is killed by one of variety of different methods, each of which are brutal and each of which results in the same deadly result: the death of an innocent being whose own "crime" was being conceived as the natural consequence of the power that God has given to man to continue the species.

There can never be any "common ground" between those who believe in the direct, intentional killing of any innocent human being under cover of law and those who recognize that the civil law can never permit any direction, intentional violations of the Fifth Commandment's absolute prohibition against the taking of innocent life. There can never be any "common ground" between Hell and Heaven. None.

No one is "pro-abortion," President Obama? Let us consider once again the evidence to the contrary that I presented three months ago in Willfully Trapped by Apostasy:

The Sacrament of Abortion is the title of a book written by Ginette Paris and published in 1992. In this short book, the author claims that abortion is a sacred act, a sacrifice to Artemis (known to the Romans as Diana).

Artemis is both a protector of wild animals and a hunter who kills them with deadly aim. How can these contradictory roles be found in the same female deity? The view proposed in this book is that a mother properly cares for life only if she possesses full power over life and death. Death is sometimes preferable. The one who can provide death, in order that one may escape an unfriendly life, is really loving the one who is being killed.

Abortion, then, is seen as "an expression of maternal responsibility and not a failure of maternal love" (p.8). "Artemis stands for the refusal to give life if the gift is not pure and untainted….As Artemis might kill a wounded animal rather than allow it to limp along miserably, so a mother wishes to spare the child a painful destiny" (p. 55).

Artemis, of course, is the same goddess whose worshippers felt so threatened by Paul's proclamation of the Gospel in Ephesus, where a riot nearly broke out and a vast crowd shouted for two hours, "Great is Artemis of the Ephesians!" (Acts 19:34). The worshippers of Artemis today should likewise feel that their beliefs are threatened, because the proclamation of the Gospel of Christ is that He alone has authority over life and death. Neither the mother, nor the father, nor the state, nor the individual herself, can claim absolute dominion over life. "Nobody lives as his own master, and nobody dies as his own master. While we live, we are responsible to the Lord, and when we die, we die as His servants. Both in life and death, we are the Lord's" (Rom. 14:7-8).

The fact that some defend abortion as a sacred act should alert us to the depth of the spiritual warfare that is going on. Abortion has never been merely or even primarily a political issue. It is a false religion. When pro-life Christians, for example, pray in front of an abortion mill, it is not simply a matter of pro-life people opposing false medicine. It is the true Church in conflict with a false Church. One former clinic security guard, after being converted, admitted why he was angry at pro-life sidewalk counselors: "You were coming to protest in front of our church. That clinic was where we conducted our worship."

May all believers, and their clergy, take renewed strength to speak out against abortion. Not only is doing so consistent with the proclamation of the Gospel; it is the proclamation of the Gospel. (The Reverend Frank Pavone, Abortion - Pro Life - The "Sacrament" of Abortion.)

"Nobody" is "pro-abortion"? Do you really want to meet God in the face at the moment of your Particular Judgment, President Barack Hussein Obama, and assert that "nobody" is "pro-abortion"? Really? Truly?

The Reverend Thomas Eutenauer, another conciliar "priest" who is the President of Human Life International, discussed the belief that baby-killing is considered a "sacrament" in an article that he wrote on August 10, 2007, making some very good points about the fact the battle against abortion is not going to be won at the polls:

The standard Catholic description of a real Sacrament is that it is an “efficacious sign instituted by Christ to give grace.” The “sign” is whatever the particular Sacrament is meant to convey: Baptism—cleansing from sin, Eucharist—union with Christ, Penance—forgiveness of sins, etc. “Efficacious” means that it actually produces the effect it signifies, and it “gives grace” as sort of a conduit of divine life into our souls. A Catholic Sacrament is holy in itself and does not need a holy person to administer it, and on the basis of the Sacrament’s innate holiness, the children of the Church are sanctified and in turn sanctify the world in which we live.

The demonic “sacrament” of abortion has the same characteristics as a real Sacrament except that it reverses any concept of holiness and perverts its meaning. This is because the devil always mimics God’s plan to communicate His life to us and does everything he can to draw us away from that life. In this case, abortion is a “sign” that points to death; it is “efficacious” in that it brings death through bodily destruction; it “destroys grace” in that each act of abortion is a mortal sin that seduces and corrupts all of those who take part in it.

Furthermore, abortionists, witches and Satanists put their “faith” in the “sacrament” of abortion. Don’t take my word for it. In a 1999 LifeSite interview, retired abortionist Patricia Baird-Windle, self-professed wiccan (witch), actually said, “Abortion is a major blessing, and a sacrament in the hands of women. ... At the very crucible of the sacrament of abortion work is that some women have an abortion out of love for the baby, [some] out of love for the children they already have and are having a hard time feeding.” Rarely am I shocked by what abortion apologists say, but this perverse logic leaves me utterly speechless. It shouldn’t surprise me, though; Ms. Baird-Windle claims responsibility for 65,000 abortions in the three death centers that she owned.

There’s more. An Episcopal “priestess,” Carter Hayward said, “Abortion would be a sacrament if women were in charge. Abortion should be a sacrament even today. I suspect that for many women today, and for their spouses, lovers, families and communities, abortion is celebrated as such, an occasion of deep and serious and sacred meaning.” No comment is really necessary here.

Let us never pretend that abortion is just a social or political phenomenon that has to be voted out of office to be defeated. We must do everything we can to restore legal protection to our most innocent citizens, but our battle against the devil will not be won at the polls. It will be won on our knees before the Lord and on our feet before the centers of death. More than ever we need men and women of tested holiness who are willing to fight the spiritual battle for the lives of God’s precious babies and the souls of their mothers and fathers. Even abortionists like Baird-Windle are caught up in a demonic religion which can be challenged and defeated by those of us who belong to the true Church of Christ, the only spiritual power strong enough to defeat the “sacrament” of abortion.

(Please see sidebar for a page of numerous “abortion as sacrament” quotes from those who justify this demonic practice. If you want to see how corrupt the extreme feminist establishment with regard to their “sacrament” please look at the publication of a 1975 book called “Abortion is a Blessing” on the “Freedom From Religion Foundation” website. http://ffrf.org/books/AIAB/.) (Spirit & Life.)

[Thomas A. Droleskey note: We can pray that Father Eutenauer comes to understand that the refusal of the counterfeit church of conciliarism to proclaim the Social Reign of Christ the King  and its embrace of the apostasy of "religious liberty" has contributed to the institutionalization of abortion under cover of law in nations around the world, all of the rhetoric of its leaders notwithstanding. The conciliarists' pro-life rhetoric is couched in conciliarspeak and based upon a "reconciliation" with the false, naturalistic, religiously indifferentist and semi-Pelagian principles of Modernity.]

While it is our filial duty as Catholics under the Fourth Commandment to pray for our civil leaders, including President Barack Hussein Obama and his apostate, pro-abortion Catholic Vice President, Joseph Robinette, Jr., who was recently applauded by Catholics at a Novus Ordo service at Holy Trinity Church in Washington, D.C., on Sunday, January 18, 2009, it is also our duty as Catholics to oppose their support for the destruction of the innocent preborn under cover of law. We must love God above all things, and it is for love of God that we must fulfill our patriotic duty as citizens of the United States of America to oppose those policies that are repugnant to Him and thus to the good of the souls for whom He shed every single drop of His Most Precious Blood on the wood of the Holy Cross.

Pope Leo XIII explained this in Sapientiae Christianae, January 10, 1890:

Now, if the natural law enjoins us to love devotedly and to defend the country in which we had birth, and in which we were brought up, so that every good citizen hesitates not to face death for his native land, very much more is it the urgent duty of Christians to be ever quickened by like feelings toward the Church. For the Church is the holy City of the living God, born of God Himself, and by Him built up and established. Upon this earth, indeed, she accomplishes her pilgrimage, but by instructing and guiding men she summons them to eternal happiness. We are bound, then, to love dearly the country whence we have received the means of enjoyment this mortal life affords, but we have a much more urgent obligation to love, with ardent love, the Church to which we owe the life of the soul, a life that will endure forever. For fitting it is to prefer the good of the soul to the well-being of the body, inasmuch as duties toward God are of a far more hallowed character than those toward men.

Moreover, if we would judge aright, the supernatural love for the Church and the natural love of our own country proceed from the same eternal principle, since God Himself is their Author and originating Cause. Consequently, it follows that between the duties they respectively enjoin, neither can come into collision with the other. We can, certainly, and should love ourselves, bear ourselves kindly toward our fellow men, nourish affection for the State and the governing powers; but at the same time we can and must cherish toward the Church a feeling of filial piety, and love God with the deepest love of which we are capable. The order of precedence of these duties is, however, at times, either under stress of public calamities, or through the perverse will of men, inverted. For, instances occur where the State seems to require from men as subjects one thing, and religion, from men as Christians, quite another; and this in reality without any other ground, than that the rulers of the State either hold the sacred power of the Church of no account, or endeavor to subject it to their own will. Hence arises a conflict, and an occasion, through such conflict, of virtue being put to the proof. The two powers are confronted and urge their behests in a contrary sense; to obey both is wholly impossible. No man can serve two masters, for to please the one amounts to contemning the other.

As to which should be preferred no one ought to balance for an instant. It is a high crime indeed to withdraw allegiance from God in order to please men, an act of consummate wickedness to break the laws of Jesus Christ, in order to yield obedience to earthly rulers, or, under pretext of keeping the civil law, to ignore the rights of the Church; "we ought to obey God rather than men." This answer, which of old Peter and the other Apostles were used to give the civil authorities who enjoined unrighteous things, we must, in like circumstances, give always and without hesitation. No better citizen is there, whether in time of peace or war, than the Christian who is mindful of his duty; but such a one should be ready to suffer all things, even death itself, rather than abandon the cause of God or of the Church

Faithful Catholics will never abandon the cause of God or His Holy Church to serve the interests of a false political messiah of naturalism who promises "hope" and "change" without placing his own hope in the true Faith and without seeking to change his own life in cooperation with the graces won for us by the shedding of every single drop of Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ's Most Precious Blood that flow into our hearts and souls through the loving hands of Our Lady, she who is the Mediatrix of All Graces and the very Patroness of the United States of America under the title of her Immaculate Conception.

It is impossible to pursue the just social order as sin--the very thing that caused the God-Man to suffer in His Sacred Humanity during His Passion and Death and caused Seven Swords of Sorrow to be pierced through and through His Most Blessed Mother's Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart--is protected under cover of law and promoted in every aspect of a nation's popular culture. All naturalistic efforts to "restore" material prosperity or to make a nation "secure" will fail when each of the four sins that cry out to Heaven for vengeance, including willful murder, is protected under cover of law, promoted in popular culture and exported to the far corners of the world in the name of American "liberty."

Barack Hussein Obama has promised "change we can believe in." He will bring no change at all, at least none for the "better." He does not recognize the the multifaceted and inter-related social and economic problems facing the United States of America and the other nations of the "developed" world stem in very large measure from the chemical killings of over 600,000,000 children since 1965 and the surgical assassinations of nearly 50,000,000 children, human beings who could have taken their place in society by now. Multinational corporations, headed by executives who believe that they owe allegiance only to the "bottom line" and to no particular nation or even the common good of their own employees, contribute to Planned Parenthood and like organizations as they "outsource" jobs to foreign nations and as they encouraging lax immigration policies that make a mockery of any true sense of national sovereignty. Barack Hussein Obama's concept of "change we can believe in" is premised upon a rejection of the truths contained in Silvio Cardinal Antoniano's admonition of nearly half a millennium ago:

The more closely the temporal power of a nation aligns itself with the spiritual, and the more it fosters and promotes the latter, by so much the more it contributes to the conservation of the commonwealth. For it is the aim of the ecclesiastical authority by the use of spiritual means, to form good Christians in accordance with its own particular end and object; and in doing this it helps at the same time to form good citizens, and prepares them to meet their obligations as members of a civil society. This follows of necessity because in the City of God, the Holy Roman Catholic Church, a good citizen and an upright man are absolutely one and the same thing. How grave therefore is the error of those who separate things so closely united, and who think that they can produce good citizens by ways and methods other than those which make for the formation of good Christians. For, let human prudence say what it likes and reason as it pleases, it is impossible to produce true temporal peace and tranquillity by things repugnant or opposed to the peace and happiness of eternity. (Silvio Cardinal Antoniano, quoted by Pope Pius XI in Divini Illius Magistri, December 31, 1929.)

President Obama, the direct, intentional taking of innocent preborn human life under cover of law is repugnant and directly opposed to the peace and happiness of eternity.

President Obama, the promotion of any form of contraception, regardless as to whether such a form is an abortifacient, is repugnant and directly opposed to the peace and happiness of eternity. It is a Mortal Sin, objectively speaking, against the Sovereignty of God over the sanctity and fecundity of Holy Matrimony to thwart its natural end.

President Obama, the promotion of perverted sins in violation of the Sixth and Ninth Commandments and the identification of human beings on the basis of their immersion in such sins are things that are repugnant and directly opposed to the peace and happiness of eternity.

President Obama, your support for collectivism and statism in the name of a perverse concept of "social justice" and "national sharing" is repugnant and directly opposed to the peace and happiness of eternity as you believe in the violation of the Natural Law principle of subsidiarity, enunciated so very clearly by Pope Pius XI in Quadragesimo Anno, May 15, 1931:

When we speak of the reform of institutions, the State comes chiefly to mind, not as if universal well-being were to be expected from its activity, but because things have come to such a pass through the evil of what we have termed "individualism" that, following upon the overthrow and near extinction of that rich social life which was once highly developed through associations of various kinds, there remain virtually only individuals and the State. This is to the great harm of the State itself; for, with a structure of social governance lost, and with the taking over of all the burdens which the wrecked associations once bore. the State has been overwhelmed and crushed by almost infinite tasks and duties.

As history abundantly proves, it is true that on account of changed conditions many things which were done by small associations in former times cannot be done now save by large associations. Still, that most weighty principle, which cannot be set aside or changed, remains fixed and unshaken in social philosophy: Just as it is gravely wrong to take from individuals what they can accomplish by their own initiative and industry and give it to the community, so also it is an injustice and at the same time a grave evil and disturbance of right order to assign to a greater and higher association what lesser and subordinate organizations can do. For every social activity ought of its very nature to furnish help to the members of the body social, and never destroy and absorb them.

The supreme authority of the State ought, therefore, to let subordinate groups handle matters and concerns of lesser importance, which would otherwise dissipate its efforts greatly. Thereby the State will more freely, powerfully, and effectively do all those things that belong to it alone because it alone can do them: directing, watching, urging, restraining, as occasion requires and necessity demands. Therefore, those in power should be sure that the more perfectly a graduated order is kept among the various associations, in observance of the principle of "subsidiary function," the stronger social authority and effectiveness will be the happier and more prosperous the condition of the State.

Like Alaska Governor Sarah Heath Palin, you, President Obama, believe that children must receive classroom instruction in matters pertaining to the Sixth and Ninth Commandments, instruction that is indeed repugnant to and opposed to the peace and happiness of eternity:

Another very grave danger is that naturalism which nowadays invades the field of education in that most delicate matter of purity of morals. Far too common is the error of those who with dangerous assurance and under an ugly term propagate a so-called sex-education, falsely imagining they can forearm youths against the dangers of sensuality by means purely natural, such as a foolhardy initiation and precautionary instruction for all indiscriminately, even in public; and, worse still, by exposing them at an early age to the occasions, in order to accustom them, so it is argued, and as it were to harden them against such dangers.

Such persons grievously err in refusing to recognize the inborn weakness of human nature, and the law of which the Apostle speaks, fighting against the law of the mind; and also in ignoring the experience of facts, from which it is clear that, particularly in young people, evil practices are the effect not so much of ignorance of intellect as of weakness of a will exposed to dangerous occasions, and unsupported by the means of grace.

In this extremely delicate matter, if, all things considered, some private instruction is found necessary and opportune, from those who hold from God the commission to teach and who have the grace of state, every precaution must be taken. Such precautions are well known in traditional Christian education, and are adequately described by Antoniano cited above, when he says:

Such is our misery and inclination to sin, that often in the very things considered to be remedies against sin, we find occasions for and inducements to sin itself. Hence it is of the highest importance that a good father, while discussing with his son a matter so delicate, should be well on his guard and not descend to details, nor refer to the various ways in which this infernal hydra destroys with its poison so large a portion of the world; otherwise it may happen that instead of extinguishing this fire, he unwittingly stirs or kindles it in the simple and tender heart of the child. Speaking generally, during the period of childhood it suffices to employ those remedies which produce the double effect of opening the door to the virtue of purity and closing the door upon vice. (Pope Pius XI, Divini Illius Magistri, December 31, 1929.)

Explicit classroom instruction in matters pertaining to the Sixth and Ninth Commandments is forbidden. It is an incentive to sin, not to virtue. The young can be taught to conquer the ravages of fallen human nature by being taught to know, love and to serve God as He has revealed Himself to us exclusively through the Church that He founded upon the Rock of Peter, the Pope, and by attempting to cooperate on a daily basis with the Sanctifying Grace as they consecrated themselves to Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ through the Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary. And if, God forbid, a young person should fall into a Mortal Sin against the Sixth and Ninth Commandments, then they must be taught to get into the Sacred Tribunal of Penance and to make reparation for their sins after receiving Absolution from a true bishop or a true priest. Catholicism is the one and only foundation of personal and social order. No, not an infallible guarantor of sanctity or virtue, only the necessary precondition for the efficacious pursuit of sanctity and thus for the establishment and maintenance of social order.

God will never "bless" any land that protects these grave evils under cover of law and that promotes them widely in popular culture in the aegis of "civil liberty," no less exports them internationally with ready abandon.

Who is going to teach President Barack Hussein Obama any of this? Who is going to teach Him that we wait for Christ the King, not for false political messiahs who are really figures of Antichrist with their smooth and empty rhetoric that "inspire" the masses and fill them with "hope" as they continue to be immersed in their bread and circuses. Who is going to teach him that he must govern according to the Mind of the Divine Redeemer as He has discharged It exclusively in the Catholic Church and that he cannot face God at the moment of his death as a non-Catholic and a participate in the genocide of the preborn and expect to hear, "Well done, good and faithful servant."

Indeed, although Barack Hussein Obama has voted in support of baby-killing (either directly or by voting "present") throughout his legislative career as a member of the Illinois State and United States Senates, he takes upon himself now a direct moral responsibility for the killings of any babies that take place as a result of the Executive Orders he issues and the Congressional bills he signs into law. This is no light matter.

To wit, it is likely that President Obama will issue an Executive Order on Thursday, January 22, 2009, the thirty-sixth anniversary of the decisions of the Supreme Court of the United States of America in the cases of Roe v. Wade and Doe v. Bolton, reversing the so-called "Mexico City" policy that has been in effect for the past eight years. This action will make Barack Hussein Obama a direct participant in the killing of the preborn.

Yes, as I have explained endlessly on this site former President George Walker Bush's "Mexico City" policy that was said to prevent surgical baby-killings on the premises of international "family planning" agencies in foreign countries and to prohibit counseling in favor of such killings on the premises of those agencies was full of loopholes, including the fact that workers for such agencies were permitted under Bush's policy to meet with expectant mothers off of the agency's premises on their own time to counsel them "privately" for what was prohibited "officially." It was a sham from beginning to end, especially when one considers the numbers of chemical abortions made possible by direct United States taxpayer funding authorized by the "pro-life" administration of George Walker Bush and Richard Cheney.

That having been noted---and no way indemnifying the Bush-Cheney administration for the deaths of the innocent preborn made possible by its sham of a "Mexico City" policy, it is nevertheless true that Barack Hussein Obama will make his very own a decision to permit quite openly surgical baby-killing on the premises of these agencies with American taxpayer dollars and to permit direct counseling for surgical abortion on these premises. Although this will make "open" what was permitted in a de facto manner by the Bush-Cheney policy, such an Executive Order issued by President Barack Hussein Obama would place him squarely as the Chief Executive of the United States of America as a modern-day Herod willing to fund the deaths of innocent human beings with the taxpayer dollars of American citizens. He will place himself squarely and openly on the side of murdering the preborn not simply as a matter of campaign rhetoric or of legislative votes but as a matter of executive action for which he bears sole responsibility before God.

President Barack Hussein Obama, full of self-confident assurance, should tremble at these words of Pope Pius XI, contained in Casti Connubii, December 31, 1930:

But another very grave crime is to be noted, Venerable Brethren, which regards the taking of the life of the offspring hidden in the mother's womb. Some wish it to be allowed and left to the will of the father or the mother; others say it is unlawful unless there are weighty reasons which they call by the name of medical, social, or eugenic "indication." Because this matter falls under the penal laws of the state by which the destruction of the offspring begotten but unborn is forbidden, these people demand that the "indication," which in one form or another they defend, be recognized as such by the public law and in no way penalized. There are those, moreover, who ask that the public authorities provide aid for these death-dealing operations, a thing, which, sad to say, everyone knows is of very frequent occurrence in some places.

As to the "medical and therapeutic indication" to which, using their own words, we have made reference, Venerable Brethren, however much we may pity the mother whose health and even life is gravely imperiled in the performance of the duty allotted to her by nature, nevertheless what could ever be a sufficient reason for excusing in any way the direct murder of the innocent? This is precisely what we are dealing with here. Whether inflicted upon the mother or upon the child, it is against the precept of God and the law of nature: "Thou shalt not kill:" The life of each is equally sacred, and no one has the power, not even the public authority, to destroy it. It is of no use to appeal to the right of taking away life for here it is a question of the innocent, whereas that right has regard only to the guilty; nor is there here question of defense by bloodshed against an unjust aggressor (for who would call an innocent child an unjust aggressor?); again there is not question here of what is called the "law of extreme necessity" which could even extend to the direct killing of the innocent. Upright and skillful doctors strive most praiseworthily to guard and preserve the lives of both mother and child; on the contrary, those show themselves most unworthy of the noble medical profession who encompass the death of one or the other, through a pretense at practicing medicine or through motives of misguided pity.

All of which agrees with the stern words of the Bishop of Hippo in denouncing those wicked parents who seek to remain childless, and failing in this, are not ashamed to put their offspring to death: "Sometimes this lustful cruelty or cruel lust goes so far as to seek to procure a baneful sterility, and if this fails the fetus conceived in the womb is in one way or another smothered or evacuated, in the desire to destroy the offspring before it has life, or if it already lives in the womb, to kill it before it is born. If both man and woman are party to such practices they are not spouses at all; and if from the first they have carried on thus they have come together not for honest wedlock, but for impure gratification; if both are not party to these deeds, I make bold to say that either the one makes herself a mistress of the husband, or the other simply the paramour of his wife."

What is asserted in favor of the social and eugenic "indication" may and must be accepted, provided lawful and upright methods are employed within the proper limits; but to wish to put forward reasons based upon them for the killing of the innocent is unthinkable and contrary to the divine precept promulgated in the words of the Apostle: Evil is not to be done that good may come of it.

Those who hold the reins of government should not forget that it is the duty of public authority by appropriate laws and sanctions to defend the lives of the innocent, and this all the more so since those whose lives are endangered and assailed cannot defend themselves. Among whom we must mention in the first place infants hidden in the mother's womb. And if the public magistrates not only do not defend them, but by their laws and ordinances betray them to death at the hands of doctors or of others, let them remember that God is the Judge and Avenger of innocent blood which cried from earth to Heaven.

President Obama, consider the last sentence in the passages from Pope Pius XI's Casti Connubii just quoted:

And if the public magistrates not only do not defend them, but by their laws and ordinances betray them to death at the hands of doctors or of others, let them remember that God is the Judge and Avenger of innocent blood which cried from earth to Heaven.

President Obama, while we pray for you as our President as filial piety requires and pray for your conversion as Catholic Charity requires, may you come to understand that the innocent blood you authorize to be shed will be avenged by God at the moment of your Particular Judgment if you do not repent and convert to the true Faith before you die. None of your plans for "change" will be successful. None of the false "hope" you give to the masses will be fulfilled. You will fail your country because you will fail to do your duty before God to pursue the common temporal good in light of man's Last End: the possession of the glory of the Beatific Vision of Father, Son, and Holy Ghost for all eternity.

We will not celebrate your inauguration, President Obama. We will oppose you with our prayers, especially by means of Our Lady's Most Holy Rosary, as we raise our voices in opposition to your naturalism and your false messianism. We wait for another, President Obama. We wait for Christ the King.

My friends, we must remember that we are not engaged in a political contest that cannot be won in a country where the concentration camps known as public schools turn out more and more committed relativists who see in the likes of Barack Hussein Obama's nascent presidency a sign of "hope" for the future. We must remember these words of Saint Paul the Apostle, contained in his Epistle to the Ephesians:

Not serving to the eye, as it were pleasing men, but, as the servants of Christ doing the will of God from the heart, With a good will serving, as to the Lord, and not to men. Knowing that whatsoever good thing any man shall do, the same shall he receive from the Lord, whether he be bond, or free. And you, masters, do the same things to them, forbearing threatenings, knowing that the Lord both of them and you is in heaven; and there is no respect of persons with him. Finally, brethren, be strengthened in the Lord, and in the might of his power.

Put you on the armour of God, that you may be able to stand against the deceits of the devil. For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood; but against principalities and power, against the rulers of the world of this darkness, against the spirits of wickedness in the high places. Therefore take unto you the armour of God, that you may be able to resist in the evil day, and to stand in all things perfect. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of justice, And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace:

In all things taking the shield of faith, wherewith you may be able to extinguish all the fiery darts of the most wicked one. And take unto you the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit (which is the word of God). By all prayer and supplication praying at all times in the spirit; and in the same watching with all instance and supplication for all the saints: (Eph. 6: 6-18.)

There is no compromise with evil. None. Ever. And it is precisely because Catholics who cleave to the naturalist "left" and the naturalist "right" have become so accustomed to compromise in our pluralistic system of one compromise after another that some, at the very least, might be tempted to make just a little compromise to show President Obama our "good will." We cannot do so. We must stand fast in opposition to the evils that will be advanced by the incoming administration to make up, at least in some small part, for not caring about the evils that were promoted by the outgoing administration in the name of a "compassionate conservatism" that was nothing other than corporate socialism and statism.

Our refuge in this time of chastisement, which is so very similar to that which befell France one hundred years after the refusal of King Louis XIV and the French bishops to consecrate the entirety of France to the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus according to the express command of Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ as He made it manifest to Saint Margaret Mary Alacoque, must be our total consecration to Our Lord through His Most Blessed Mother's Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart. We need our Blessed Mother's help. Only she can help us, and to this end we need to organize more and more public Rosary processions in honor of her Fatima Message and to make reparation for our own sins and those of our nation as we pray for the conversion of the nation and as we take seriously these words of Pope Pius XI, contained in Quas Primas, December 25, 1925:

We firmly hope, however, that the feast of the Kingship of Christ, which in future will be yearly observed, may hasten the return of society to our loving Savior. It would be the duty of Catholics to do all they can to bring about this happy result. Many of these, however, have neither the station in society nor the authority which should belong to those who bear the torch of truth. This state of things may perhaps be attributed to a certain slowness and timidity in good people, who are reluctant to engage in conflict or oppose but a weak resistance; thus the enemies of the Church become bolder in their attacks. But if the faithful were generally to understand that it behooves them ever to fight courageously under the banner of Christ their King, then, fired with apostolic zeal, they would strive to win over to their Lord those hearts that are bitter and estranged from him, and would valiantly defend his rights.

Moreover, the annual and universal celebration of the feast of the Kingship of Christ will draw attention to the evils which anticlericalism has brought upon society in drawing men away from Christ, and will also do much to remedy them. While nations insult the beloved name of our Redeemer by suppressing all mention of it in their conferences and parliaments, we must all the more loudly proclaim his kingly dignity and power, all the more universally affirm his rights.

Yes, we must the more loudly proclaim His Kingly dignity and power, all the more universally affirm His rights.

To this end, my friends, we protect ourselves with the Brown Scapular and the Miraculous Medal from the figures of Antichrist who walk among us and draw large crowds of worshiping supporters. We must pray as many Rosaries each day as possible in our homes that are enthroned to the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary. We may not see the fruits in our own lifetimes. We may even have to suffer greatly. The reward is Heavenly. What have we to fear? What? What?

Rise above the fear. Our Lady is with us. Let us stand by her at the foot of the Cross every day in a true offering of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass offered by a true bishop or a true priest who makes no concessions to the apostasies of a false church whose "reconciliation" with the errors of Modernity have helped to bring us to the brink of the coming of the Antichrist.

What are we waiting for? Why do we think that there is anything other than Catholicism that can serve as the foundation of personal and social order? Why don't we work and pray for the conversion of this nation to become the Catholic States of America?

Viva Cristo Rey! Vivat Christus Rex!
