Right This Way, Mr. Devil

Psalm 95:5, written by King David under the inspiration of the Third Person of the Blessed Trinity, God the Holy Ghost, teaches us that each and every false religion worships the devil:

For all the gods of the Gentiles are devils: but the Lord made the heavens. (Psalm 95: 5)

 

Do the conciliar authorities who occupy the Vatican at the present time understand this? No. Quite the contrary. Conciliar "pontiffs" have repeatedly reaffirmed adherents of false religions in their devil worship and have even esteemed the symbols of these false religions with their own hands. Among the many egregious things that Joseph Ratzinger/Benedict XVI has done is to call Mount Hiei in Japan, where the Tendei sect of Buddhism worships its devils, as "sacred." Ratzinger/Benedict has also treated the Blue Mosque in Istanbul as a "holy" place and has violated the Code of Canon Law of the Catholic Church by entering two synagogues and permitted himself, a man who is considered, albeit falsely, to be the Vicar of Christ on earth, to be treated as an inferior as the Sacred Divinity of Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ has been denied in Talmudic hymns and as he, Ratzinger/Benedict refused to seek the unconditional conversion of his hosts.

Our ancient adversary takes every invitation made to him quite seriously. He will enter deep into the hearts and souls of human beings who do not keep custody of their eyes or who permit themselves to indulge in thoughts or to read books or to look at images (on televisions, computer, movie screens, etc.) that promote and glorify sin, the very thing that caused the rupture between man and God in the Garden of Eden and that caused the Second Person of the Blessed Trinity to suffer unspeakably in His Sacred Humanity during His Passion and Death. The devil also accepts invitations offered by those who violate the First Commandment by placing strange gods before themselves. And plenty of those invitations have been extended by conciliar "pontiffs" and "bishops" in the past forty years.

As has been noted on this site any number of times in the past three years, Joseph Ratzinger/Benedict XVI does not consider it to be a violation of the First Commandment to esteem the symbols of false religions or to praise their nonexistent "ability" to "contribute" to order within nations and peace among them. This means, of course, that he really does not know Who God is and does not accept how He has revealed Himself through His true Church. No one who knows God as He has revealed Himself through His true Church will want to do anything that puts into question the exclusivity of the Catholic Church as the one and only true religion, the one and only means of salvation, the one and only means of pleasing God.

Obviously, one who believes that dogmatic truths can never expressed "precisely" at any one point in time as the language that men use is "imprecise" that is conditioned by the historical circumstances that gave rise to its formulation does not believe in the very nature God Himself. Ratzinger/Benedict blasphemes the Third Person of the Most Blessed Trinity, God the Holy Ghost, by stating repeatedly throughout his priestly life that the "particulars" contained in dogmatic formulations can become "obsolete" over the course of time. This means, of course, that God the Holy Ghost works in an obscure manner at dogmatic councils and as legitimate Successors of Saint Peter write encyclical letters on various matters, including the Church's Social Teaching. What was a "true" way of expressing Church teaching in one era might not be a "true" way in another era, a proposition that defies simple logic on even a natural level and has been condemned repeatedly and solemnly by the authority of the Catholic Church.

One who feels free to offend God by esteeming false religions and praising their "contributions" as well as blaspheming Him by means of denigrating the eternally binding nature of formulation and expression of dogmatic truths thus extends one invitation to the devil after another to enter into the lives of men and their nations. No, this is not Joseph Ratzinger/Benedict XVI's intention. Granted.

Modernists do not believe that they are doing the devil's bidding in anything. They are merely "updating" the Faith as they free Its expression from the "shackles" imposed by the "rigidity" and "clarity" of Scholasticism in order to make It "accessible" to the mythical entity known as "modern man" according to the precepts of the New Theology that are meant to strip away Scholasticism's "accretions" in order to forge a "common bond" with the Orthodox. This of, course, is subjectivism of the worst sort that is part of a false religion as the true Faith, Catholicism, expresses Itself clearly and without murkiness or the need to constantly "re-think" every doctrine imaginable to advance the ecumenical goals of the One World Church. The devil is indeed invited into the lives of men and their nations as a result.

The conciliar Vatican is so bereft of the sensus Catholicus when it comes to false ecumenism and the heresy of religious liberty that its officials must oppose a most sensible proposal by the government of the Republic of Italy to place a moratorium on the building of mosques as these centers of what we know to be false worship are seen, and quite rightly so, by the Italian civil authorities as centers of terrorism. Such a sensible, reasonable proposal cannot receive the support of the conciliar Vatican, which is ever trying to get leaders of Mohammedan nations to accept "religious liberty:" and grant "reciprocity" for worship to Catholics in exchange for the Vatican's liberality of spirit in welcoming Mosques an praising Mohammedanism for "returning God to Europe" (see On the Last Day of the Year). It's almost as though the conciliar Vatican is composed of Keystone Kops who are frantically waving their arms at Mohammedans to encourage them to go in a direction that is opposed to their firm belief, which we know to be false, that theirs is the true religion and that it it would be wrong to compromise their beliefs in exchange for "warm relations" with the conciliar Vatican. The Vatican is yelling at Mohammedans to "Go this way" when they, the Mohammedans are going in an entirely different direction.

Here is a story that was sent to me by a reader (I don't have to "surf" the internet; readers send me most of the news stories that wind up on this site):

Vatican City - A top Vatican official said Thursday Muslims should be allowed to build new mosques in Italy, where the country's interior minister, citing terrorism fears, is pushing to ban such initiatives.

On Wednesday Interior Minister Roberto Maroni a member of the anti-immigration Northern League party, proposed a moratorium on the building of mosques following the arrest of two Moroccans suspected of planning a series of bomb attacks.

But Monsignor Gianfranco Ravasi who heads the Holy See's culture department, suggested such a ban would be counterproductive.

"A place of worship if used as such, is always a source of communion and dialogue," Ravasi was quoted as saying by the ANSA news agency.

However, Ravasi said that "controls" should be put in place to ensure such venues are used for genuine religious activity, "since if they become something else then civil society has the right to intervene and verify."

Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi's main political ally, the Northern League, has lodged a motion in Italy's lower house of parliament for the ban on new mosques.

Such venues are "difficult to distinguish between places of worship and those that recruit terrorists and finance the planning of attacks," Maroni said.

People of Freedom party officials say they will not support the proposal which has been condemned by the centre-left opposition and representatives of Italy's Muslim community.

Rome houses Europe's largest mosque but most most of the estimated 1.2 million Muslims living in Italy worship in hundreds of converted buildings included garages and warehouses.

Meanwhile on Thursday, prosecutors in Milan questioned the two Morrocan suspects, Rachid Ilhami and Abdelkader Ghafir, at the city's San Vittore prison where they are being accused of terrorism and collusion with al-Qaeda.

The two deny any wrongdoing says their lawyer, Ettore Traini, who has requested for a "proper" translation of allegedly incriminating conversations involving his clients that are contained in police wire taps. (Beliefnet)

 

Consider the irony in all of this today, the Second Sunday of Advent in 2008 and the commemoration of Saint Ambrose, who was the Bishop of Milan, where today's Italian civil authorities have arrested two Mohammedans in a mosque as terrorist suspects. Saint Ambrose would never have abided  a mosque in his city if he had lived long enough to see such a spectacle become even remotely possible. Alas, that is just one of the many differences between Catholicism and conciliarism. The conciliar church invites the devil and his minions into nations where they were driven out by Catholic bishops and priests in the past! The Battle of Lepanto means nothing to the conciliarists. Nothing at all.

Mosques, being centers of false worship, are places of spiritual terrorism against God as the devil is worshiped there. Joseph Ratzinger/Benedict XVI does not believe this to be the case. Ratzinger/Benedict does not believe that Mohammedanism is a true religion. He has criticized Mohammedanism for its irrationality. Lacking a Scholastic mind and having contempt for the doctrinal formulations of Holy Mother Church that have been promulgated under the inspiration of God the Holy Ghost, Ratzinger/Benedict cannot proceed from his understanding that Mohammedanism is a false religion to the conclusion that a false religion is hated by God and that its adherents worship the devil. He has projected onto God a sense of "tolerance" for false religions that God does not have. Ratzinger/Benedict believes that God has pretty much his own mind concerning false religions, believing that their mere existence is a sign that God "approves" of them, at least to a certain extent, and wants all of his children to "get along" in the world despite their doctrinal differences. This is pure Modernism and it is offensive to God and injurious to souls.

The conciliarist view of false religions that has been propagated most especially by Ratzinger/Benedict is also, as noted before, injurious to nations, which have the right in the Natural Law to exclude emigres from other lands who pose a real and legitimate threat to their national identity, national sovereignty and national security. King Ferdinand and Queen Isabella were not wrong to have driven the Moors out of Spain in 1492. Conciliarists such as Ratzinger/Benedict believe that such actions as excluding adherents of false religions from a nation are "excessive," "uncharitable" and unjustified. They are nothing of the sort, and given the practical realities of the demographics of Europe at the present time, wherein indigenous Europeans are dying off as a result of contraception and abortion, a moderate and sensible proposal to place a moratorium of the building of new mosques is but a token means of dealing with a problem that has arisen in large measure, although not exclusively, to be sure, as a result of conciliarism's blithe acceptance of religious liberty and false ecumenism.

That is, the conciliarists see religious pluralism as an "irreversible" fact of history rather than a phenomenon that can be reversed by seeking with urgency the unconditional conversion of non-Catholics, thus making possible the restoration of Christendom in Europe. The conciliarists do not want the restoration of Christendom. The conciliarists are perfectly happy to engage in "religious dialogue" with adherents of false religions ad infinitum, ad nauseam as souls wander about in confusion and nations are plunged more and more into the effects of a nihilism that Ratzinger/Benedict observes and rejects but can only be defeated by Catholicism and not by an interdenominationalism evocative of the philosophy of The Sillon that was condemned by Pope Saint Pius X in Notre Charge Apostolique, August 15, 1910.

The "good news" in all of this is that the conciliarists do not represent the Catholic Church. The Catholic Church cannot give us false doctrine and defective liturgies. Fathers Francisco and Dominic Radecki, CMRI, made this point very well in Tumultuous Times:

"A legitimate pope cannot contradict or deny what was first taught by Christ to His Church. An essential change in belief constitutes the establishment of a new religion.

"The attribute of infallibility was given to the popes in order that the revealed doctrines and teaching of Christ would remain forever intact and unchanged. It is contrary to faith and reason to blindly follow an alleged pope who attempts to destroy the Catholic Faith--for there have been 41 documented antipopes. Papal infallibility means that the Holy Ghost guides and preserves the Catholic Church from error through the succession of legitimate popes who have ruled the Church through the centuries. All Catholics, including Christ's Vicar on earth, the pope, must accept all the doctrinal pronouncements of past popes. These infallible teachings form a vital link between Christ and St. Peter and his successors.

"If a pope did not accept and believe this entire body of formulated teachings (the Deposit of Faith), he could not himself be a Catholic. He would cease to belong to Christ's Church. If he no longer belongs to the Catholic Church, he cannot be her Head." (Fathers Francisco and Dominic Radecki, CMRI, Tumultuous Times, p. 274.)

 

The Feast of Saint Ambrose is commemorated today, the Second Sunday of Advent. Saint Ambrose made no compromises with error or blasphemy or heresy. He was firm defender of the Catholic Faith. Dom Prosper Gueranger's prayer to this great Bishop of Milan who baptized the former profligate Augustine of Hippo, should inspire us to be as uncompromising as he was:

And we, too, O immortal Ambrose, unworthy though we may be to take part in such a choir, we, too, will praise thee! We will praise the magnificent gifts which our Lord bestowed upon thee. Thou art the light of the Church and the salt of the earth by thy heavenly teachings; thou are the vigilant pastor, the affectionate father, the unyielding pontiff; oh! how must thy heart have loved Jesus, for whom we are now preparing! With what undaunted courage thou didst at the risk of thy life, resist them that blasphemed this divine Word! Well indeed has thou thereby merited to be made one of the patrons of the faithful, to lead them, each year, to Him who is their Saviour, and their King! Let, then, a ray of the truth, which filled thy sublime soul whilst here on earth, penetrate even into our hearts; give us a relish for thy sweet and eloquent writings; get us a sentiment of devoted love for the Jesus who is soon to be with us. Obtain for us, after they example, to take up His cause with energy, against the enemies of the holy faith, against the spirits of darkness, and against ourselves. Let everything yield, let everything be annihilated, let ever knee bow, let every heart confess itself conquered, in the presence of Jesus, the eternal Word of the Father, the Son of God, and the Son of Mary, our Redeemer, our Judge, our All.

Glorious saint! humble us, as thou didst Theodosius; raise us up again contrite and converted, as thou didst lovingly raise up this thy strayed sheep and carry him back to thy fold. Pray, too, for the Catholic hierarchy, of which thou wast one of the brightest ornaments. Ask of God, for the priests and bishops of His Church, that humble yet inflexible courage wherewith they should resist the powers of the world, as often as these abuse the authority which God has put into their hands. Let their face, as our Lord Himself speaks, become hard as adamant against the enemies of the Church, and may they set themselves as a wall for the house of Israel; may they consider it as the highest privilege, and the greatest happiness, to be permitted to expose their prosperity and peace, and life, for the liberty of this holy bride of Christ.

Valiant champion of truth! arm thyself with thy scourge, which the Church has given thee as they emblem; and drive far from the flock of Christ the wolves of the Arian tribe, which, under various names, are even now prowling round the fold. Let our ears be no longer shocked with the blasphemies of these proud teachers, who presume to scan, judge, approve, and blame, by the measure of their vain conceits, the great God who has given them everything they are and have, and who, out of infinite love for His creatures, has deigned to humble Himself and become one of ourselves, although knowing that men would make this very condescension an argument for denying that He is God.

Remove our prejudices, O thou great lover of truth! and crush within us those time-serving and unwise theories, which tend to make us Christians forget that Jesus is King of this world, and look on the law, which equally protects error and truth, as the perfection of modern systems. May we understand that the rights of the Son of God and of His Church do not cease to exist, because the world ceases to acknowledge them; that to give the same protection to the true religion and to those false doctrines which men have set up in opposition to the teachings of the Church, is to deny that all power has been given to Jesus in heaven and on earth; that those scourges which periodically come upon the world are the lessons which Jesus gives to those who trample on the rights of His Church, rights which He so justly acquired by dying on the cross for all mankind; that, finally, though it be out of our power to restore those rights to people that have had the misfortune to resign them, yet it is our duty, under pain of being accomplices with those who would not have Jesus reign over them, to acknowledge that they are the rights of the Church.

And lastly, dear saint, in the midst of the dark clouds which lower over the world, console our holy mother the Church, who is now but a stranger and a pilgrim amidst those nations which were her children, but have now denied her; may she cull the flowers of holy virginity among the faithful, and may that holy state be the attraction of those fortunate sols who understand how grand is the dignity of being a bride of Christ. If, at the very commencement of her ministry, during the age of persecution, the holy Church could lead countless virgins to Jesus, may it be so even now in our own age of crime and sensuality; may those pure and generous hearts, formed and consecrated to the Lamb by this holy mother, become more and more numerous; and so give to her enemies this irresistible proof that she is not barren, as they pretend, and that it is she that alone preserves the world from universal corruption, by leavening it with angelic purity.

 

"May we understand that the rights of the Son of God and of His Church do not cease to exist, because the world ceases to acknowledge them; that to give the same protection to the true religion and to those false doctrines which men have set up in opposition to the teachings of the Church, is to deny that all power has been given to Jesus in heaven and on earth." Joseph Ratzinger/Benedict XVI believes precisely that the rights of Christ the King of the Church have ceased to exist because the world has ceased to acknowledge them, thereby being a willing stooge in the protection "to the true religion and to those false doctrines which men have set up in opposition to the teachings of the Church." The conciliar Vatican's desire for more mosques, under "limited" conditions, you understand, in Italy is precisely an expression of the very thing fought by Saint Ambrose and opposed so eloquently by Dom Prosper Gueranger in his prayer to this great saint, who was a bishop and a teacher of the Catholic faithful. To believe in the falsehood of "religious liberty" and the false ecumenism of conciliarism is indeed to "deny that all power has been given to Jesus in heaven and on earth."

The final victory belongs to Our Lady's Immaculate Heart. That Heart, out of which was formed the Most Sacred Heart of her Divine Son, Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, started to beat shortly after Our Lady's Immaculate Conception. Our Lady wants Christendom restored. She wants non-Catholics converted to the true Faith. Father Maximilian Kolbe understood this so very clearly:

"Only until all schismatics and Protestants profess the Catholic Creed with conviction, when all Jews voluntarily ask for Holy Baptism – only then will the Immaculata have reached its goals.”

“In other words” Saint Maximilian insisted, “there is no greater enemy of the Immaculata and her Knighthood than today’s ecumenism, which every Knight must not only fight against, but also neutralize through diametrically opposed action and ultimately destroy. We must realize the goal of the Militia Immaculata as quickly as possible: that is, to conquer the whole world, and every individual soul which exists today or will exist until the end of the world, for the Immaculata, and through her for the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus.” (Father Karl Stehlin, Immaculata, Our Ideal, Kansas City, Missouri, Angelus Press, 2007, p. 37.)

 

You have not seen this passage quoted by Joseph Ratzinger/Benedict XVI lately, have you? No, he does not want the City of Mary to be built. He is content with the city of pluralism where the one winner is, even though he does not realize or accept it, the very sort of evil that Our Lady means to eradicate by means of the Triumph of her Immaculate Heart.

Our Lady, preserved from all stain of Original and Actual Sin, is the fairest flower of our race. She did, however, suffer the effects of our sins and those of the whole world in her Immaculate Heart during her Divine Son's Passion and Death. We must stop grieving the Immaculate Heart of Mary by means of our sins. We must make reparation to the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus through that same Immaculate Heart, especially by praying as many Rosaries each day as our states-in-life permit. The seeds that we plant today by our fidelity to Our Lady's Fatima Message and our willingness to suffer much as we cleave to the true bishops and true priests in the Catholic catacombs who keep her Divine Son's Sacraments available to souls might, please God and by her maternal intercession, play some small role in vanquishing conciliarism and ushering in a day when all hearts and souls everywhere will exclaim:

 

Viva Cristo Rey! Vivat Christus Rex!

Saint Joseph, Patron of Departing Souls, pray for us.

Saints Peter and Paul, pray for us.

Saint John the Baptist, pray for us.

Saint John the Evangelist, pray for us.

Saint Andrew the Apostle, pray for us.

Saint Michael the Archangel, pray for us.

Saint Gabriel the Archangel, pray for us.

Saint Raphael the Archangel, pray for us.

Saints Joachim and Anne, pray for us.

Saints Caspar, Melchior, and Balthasar, pray for us.

Saint Ambrose, pray for us.

Saint Augustine of Hippo, pray for us.
