Not Exactly Black and White

by Thomas A. Droleskey

Patrick Joseph Buchanan has written a new book, Suicide of a Superpower: Will American Survive to 2025?, that notes undeniable demographic trends that point to declining percentages of whites as a total of the population in the United Sates of America. Mr. Buchanan's facts are unassailable. They are undeniable. They are also nothing new.

The late Father Paul Marx, O.S.B,, noted repeatedly in his lectures around the world that indigenous Europeans would continue to decrease in numbers as a result of their declining birthrates, which were caused by the almost universal use there of contraceptive abortifacients and by the genocide of the innocents that had been unleashed as a result of the decriminalization of surgical baby-killing in one European country after another. This has been the chief reason why so many European nations have been willing to provide permanent residency and then citizenship to immigrants from Mohammedan nations as there is a dearth in the indigenous labor pool. The Mohammedans in Europe are having children aplenty. They are changing the character of the social, economic, political and even the legal system in these nations.

Europe was once the citadel of Christendom. Despite its flaws, the Christendom of the High Middle Ages was characterized by a common Faith, Catholicism, that united men and provided them with the infallible teaching and supernatural helps that they needed to sanctify their souls and thus contribute to the common temporal good of their kingdoms. This theme is explored at some length in volume one of Conversion in Reverse, which should be e-published relatively soon. Suffice it to say for present purposes that the devil had to attack the glories of Christendom with violence so that the seeds of disruption could be planted in Europe to such an extent that many of its residents today have reverted back to the barbarism from which they were converted by the work of Catholic missionaries in the First Millennium into the beginning of the Second Millennium. There is no reversing this trend. Europe is finished. The Mohammedans will win by procreation what they lost in battle in Tours and Lepanto and at the Gates of Vienna.

This process of European suicide, although having antecedent roots during aspects of the Renaissance and the rebirth of the moral relativism of the likes of Michel de Montaigne and the amorality of Niccolo Machiavelli and the Judaizing thought of others, is simply the consequence of the Protestant Revolution's overthrow of the Social Reign of Christ the King that made possible the triumph of the devil and the so-called "rights of man" that are invoked by nominal Catholics and Protestants and naturalists alike all throughout Europe. It is suicide for any nation whenever large numbers of people believe that they are demigods who are the ultimate moral arbiters of right and wrong.

Catholicism was not the foundation of the United States of America. Many of the men who founded this nation had a founding hatred for Christ the King. No one who hates and mocks the Second Person of the Most Blessed Trinity made Man in the Virginal and Immaculate Womb of His Most Blessed Mother by the power of the Third Person of the Most Blessed Trinity, God the Holy Ghost, can do anything other than plant the seeds of social destruction with his false ideas and blasphemous dismissal of Our Lord, Christ the King, and of His true Church as irrelevant to the conduct of personal and social life.

Protestantism is no foundation of personal and social order. It is of the devil. It is a revolution against the true Faith. Its liturgical rites, such as they are, given honor to the devil himself, not to the Most Blessed Trinity. Who says so? The devil himself, who always boasts of his accomplishments:

It is indeed a remarkable fact that, as the devil made use of Luther, an apostate monk, to abolish the Mass and deny the Real Presence; in like manner, God made use of His arch-enemy, the devil, to prove the Real Presence. He repeatedly forced him publicly to profess his firm belief in it, to confound the heretics for their disbelief, and acknowledge himself vanquished by Our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament. For this purpose, God allowed a certain Mme. Nicola Aubrey, an innocent person, to become possessed by Beelzebub and twenty-nine other evil spirits. The possession took place on the eighth of November, 1565, and lasted until the eighth of February, 1566.

Her parents took her to Father de Motta, a pious priest of Vervins, in order that he might expel the demon by exorcisms of the Church. Father de Motta tried several times to expel the evil spirit by applying the sacred relics of the holy cross, but he could not succeed; Satan would not depart. At last, inspired by the Holy Ghost, he resolved to expel the devil by means of the sacrament of Our Lord's Body and Blood. Whilst Nicola was lying in a state of unnatural lethargy, Father de Motta placed the Blessed Sacrament upon her lips, and instantly the infernal spell was broken; Nicola was restored to consciousness, and received Holy Communion with every mark of devotion. As soon as Nicola had received the sacred Body of Our Lord, her face became bright and beautiful as the face of an angel, and all who saw her were filled with joy and wonder, and they blessed God from their inmost hearts. With the permission of God, Satan returned and again took possession of Nicola.

As the strange circumstances of Nicola's possession became known everywhere, several Calvinist preachers came with their followers, to "expose this popish cheat," as they said. On their entrance, the devil saluted them mockingly, called them by name, and told them that they had come in obedience to him. One of the preachers took his Protestant prayer book, and began to read it with a very solemn face. The devil laughed at him, and putting on a most comical look, he said: "Ho! Ho! My good friend; do you intend to expel me with your prayers and hymns? Do you think that they will cause me any pain? Don't you know that they are mine? I helped to compose them!"

"I will expel thee in the name of God," said the preacher, solemnly.

"You!" said the devil mockingly. "You will not expel me either in the name of God, or in the name of the devil. Did you ever hear of one devil driving out another?"

"I am not a devil," said the preacher, angrily, "I am a servant of Christ."

"A servant of Christ, indeed!" said Satan, with a sneer. "What! I tell you, you are worse than I am. I believe, and you do not want to believe. Do you suppose that you can expel me from the body of this miserable wretch? Ha! Go first and expel all the devils that are in your own heart!"

The preacher took his leave, somewhat discomfited. On going away, he said, turning up the whites of his eyes, "O Lord, I pray thee, assist this poor creature!"

"And I pray Lucifer," cried the evil spirit, "that he may never leave you, but may always keep you firmly in his power, as he does now. Go about your business, now. You are all mine, and I am your master."

On the arrival of the priest, several of the Protestants went away -- they had seen and heard more than they wanted. Others, however, remained; and great was their terror when they saw how the devil writhed and howled in agony, as soon as the Blessed Sacrament was brought near him. At last the evil spirit departed, leaving Nicola in a state of unnatural trance. While she was in this state, several of the preachers tried to open her eyes, but they found it impossible to do so. The priest then placed the Blessed Sacrament on Nicola's lips, and instantly she was restored to consciousness. Rev. Father de Motta then turned to the astonished preachers, and said: "Go now, ye preachers of the new Gospel; go and relate everywhere what you have seen and heard. Do not deny any longer that Our Lord Jesus Christ is really and truly present in the Blessed Sacrament of the altar. Go now, and let not human respect hinder you from confessing the truth." (Father Michael Muller, C.SS.R., Exorcism of Nicola Aubrey.)

Thus it is that Patrick Joseph Buchanan's principal thesis of his book, which he outlined in a recent article (A.D. 2041: End of White America?), that there existed a "unity" in the United States of America as a result of its "Christian" roots and beliefs that has been undermined now by the flood of non-white immigrants, particularly from Latin America and Asia and Mohammedan nations, is simply false on its face. Protestantism is a suicide pact with the devil that was born in an overt effort on the part of Martin Luther and the German princes who supported him to end the temporal power of the Catholic Church and to "liberate" man from the very teaching offices and supernatural helps that are the only means for him know what God has revealed and how to save his soul.

Pope after pope has told us that Catholicism is the only foundation of personal and social order. Here are just two examples:

As for the rest, We greatly deplore the fact that, where the ravings of human reason extend, there is somebody who studies new things and strives to know more than is necessary, against the advice of the apostle. There you will find someone who is overconfident in seeking the truth outside the Catholic Church, in which it can be found without even a light tarnish of error. Therefore, the Church is called, and is indeed, a pillar and foundation of truth. You correctly understand, venerable brothers, that We speak here also of that erroneous philosophical system which was recently brought in and is clearly to be condemned. This system, which comes from the contemptible and unrestrained desire for innovation, does not seek truth where it stands in the received and holy apostolic inheritance. Rather, other empty doctrines, futile and uncertain doctrines not approved by the Church, are adopted. Only the most conceited men wrongly think that these teachings can sustain and support that truth. (Pope Gregory XVI, Singulari Nos, May 25, 1834.)

Just as Christianity cannot penetrate into the soul without making it better, so it cannot enter into public life without establishing order. With the idea of a God Who governs all, Who is infinitely Wise, Good, and Just, the idea of duty seizes upon the consciences of men. It assuages sorrow, it calms hatred, it engenders heroes. If it has transformed pagan society--and that transformation was a veritable resurrection--for barbarism disappeared in proportion as Christianity extended its sway, so, after the terrible shocks which unbelief has given to the world in our days, it will be able to put that world again on the true road, and bring back to order the States and peoples of modern times. But the return of Christianity will not be efficacious and complete if it does not restore the world to a sincere love of the one Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church. In the Catholic Church Christianity is Incarnate. It identifies Itself with that perfect, spiritual, and, in its own order, sovereign society, which is the Mystical Body of Jesus Christ and which has for Its visible head the Roman Pontiff, successor of the Prince of the Apostles. It is the continuation of the mission of the Savior, the daughter and the heiress of His Redemption. It has preached the Gospel, and has defended it at the price of Its blood, and strong in the Divine assistance and of that immortality which has been promised it, It makes no terms with error but remains faithful to the commands which  it has received, to carry the doctrine of Jesus Christ to the uttermost limits of the world and to the end of time, and to protect it in its inviolable integrity. Legitimate dispenser of the teachings of the Gospel it does not reveal itself only as the consoler and Redeemer of souls, but It is still more the internal source of justice and charity, and the propagator as well as the guardian of true liberty, and of that equality which alone is possible here below. In applying the doctrine of its Divine Founder, It maintains a wise equilibrium and marks the true limits between the rights and privileges of society. The equality which it proclaims does not destroy the distinction between the different social classes. It keeps them intact, as nature itself demands, in order to oppose the anarchy of reason emancipated from Faith, and abandoned to its own devices. The liberty which it gives in no wise conflicts with the rights of truth, because those rights are superior to the demands of liberty. Not does it infringe upon the rights of justice, because those rights are superior to the claims of mere numbers or power. Nor does it assail the rights of God because they are superior to the rights of humanity. (Pope Leo XIII, A Review of His Pontificate, March 19, 1902.)

The extent to which the appearance of social order was preserved in the United States of America for over one hundred seventy years or so was the result of the working of God the Holy Ghost by means of the Sanctifying and Actual Graces He made present through the ministrations of Catholic priests at altars of sacrifice. It is no accident at all that this appearance of social order, which was built on the fabric of religious indifferentism and semi-Pelagianism that are at the heart of Judeo-Masonry, began to collapse as soon as what most people thought was the Catholic Church began to make its "reconciliation" with the false, anti-Incarnational principles of Modernity and deprived Catholics and thus everyone else in the world of that which had supported social structures even after the overthrow of the Social Reign of Christ the King: Sanctifying and Actual Graces.

Most, although far from all, Catholics in the United States of America began over the course of time to view the Church through the eyes of the world rather than seeing the world through the supernatural eyes of the true Faith. Having been taught by the American bishops of the Nineteenth Century that the principles of the American founding were perfectly compatible with the Catholic Faith, many Catholics became convinced the the slogans associated with "democracy" and "human rights" and "equality" and "individualism" could be employed to reject those parts of the Sacred Deposit of Faith that they disliked and/or found inconvenient to accept or embrace. In other words, Catholics were Protestantized in their thinking, and to be Protestantized in one's thinking is become a total naturalist over the course of time, a person who is incapable of understanding their own lives in light of First and Last Things, considering all pain and misfortune and suffering with moans and complaints rather than with gratitude to the good God for giving them endless opportunities to make reparation for their sins through the Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary.

Protestantism's endorsement of the "family planning" and "population control" agenda of Margaret Sanger and other such eugenicists influenced Catholic theologians in the United States of America and elsewhere throughout the world. And it is Protestantism's endorsement of contraception that led to the acceptance of abortion. The West, including the United States of America, has been committing cultural and demographic suicide from the time that Martin Luther posted those ninety-five theses on the door of Castle Church in Wittenberg, Germany, on October 31, 1517. Catholics have even embraced a so-called "natural" form of "family planning" that even some traditionalist priests say very openly and unapologetically is a "Catholic alternative to contraceptive," a mentality that was condemned by Pope Pius XII in his Address to Midwives on the Nature of Their Profession, October 29, 1951, just about sixty years ago now (see Forty-Three Years After Humanae Vitae, Always Trying To Find A Way and Planting Seeds of Revolutionary Change).

Finally, there is no necessary reason to fear a majority nonwhite population if we lived in a land informed by the Catholic Faith. We are witnessing before our very eyes the return of the soon-to-be white minority descend into levels of barbarism that would make the Goths and the Vikings and the Tartars and the Huns of the First Millennium seem like veritable civilized folk. Whole generations of young people have been immersed in a culture of complete amorality and narcissistic selfism. Large numbers of people waste their days watching television or playing video/computer games, sporting tattoos and body piercing of one sort another as they display themselves publicly in forms of undress in a shameless manner that have been hitherto entirely unknown in the history of man. Even Adam and Eve felt shame because they knew they were naked after having eaten the fruit of the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil that God had forbidden them to eat.

All men, no matter their race or ethnicity (or any mixture thereof), are capable of aspiring to the heights of sanctity as members of the Catholic Church. The cultural identities of the kingdoms of Europe were shaped over the course of centuries following their conversion to the Faith. What was naturally good and thus inoffensive to God or harmful to souls was maintained. Those practices and beliefs that were offensive to God and thus detrimental to right ordering of men and their nations were eradicated. And while many like to wax rhapsodically about the ethnic "purity' of this or that group of Europeans, very few of the old barbaric tribes or pagans were untouched by invasions by other peoples that influenced their bloodlines and thus of their very social lives over the course of time.

What is true, however, is that each of the Catholic lands of human had their own distinct cultural identities. Different customs concerning music and literature and art and dining emerged over the course of time. These are legitimate customs, and it is to the shame of the Irish-American bishops of the United States of America in the Nineteenth Century who sought to suppress these customs in the name of a spirit of "Americanization" that was nothing other than an acceptance of a culture built upon the lies of Protestantism and Judeo-Masonry. It is also the case that there were differences in practices of personal piety and public devotions from one country to the next. It is impossible to "force" a particular culture to become something that it was not meant in the natural order of things.

Although it is true that racial, ethnic and linguistic unity are important constituent elements of a civilization, it is also true that such unity is impossible in a pluralist society such as exists in the United States of America and elsewhere in the West. This is impossible as there needs to be a common supernatural frame of reference around which to organize social life. Father Denis Fahey explained this in The Mystical Body of Christ in the Modern World:

Accordingly, we call civilization the natural social order. Catholicism is the Church, the supernatural social order. These two orders are absolutely distinct.; they are not by means independent. In the natural social order, all achievements are not of equal value. Certain things, good in themselves, are only so for a country, an epoch, a race. They represent a civilization. Other things that are so truly human and spiritual that, though they had their origin in a particular country, at a particular epoch, and were the achievements of a particular race, they are yet capable of entering into the common patrimony of humanity. They represent civilization. Such are, for example, in metaphysics, the explicit notion of the first principles, the four causes, the divisions of being subject and object, potency and act, substance and accident; in politics and law, the notions of the common good, of natural law, of positive law as derived from natural law and obliging in conscience; in art, the spiritual eclat, which is to be found, for example, in the Divina Comedia of Dante, the Cathedral of Cologne, the eyes of Murill's Madonnas.

The conquests that form part of a particular civilization may be legitimately loved and defended. Such, for example, are a language and a form of government. But it is a higher task to defend, in a particular civilization, the specifically human and universal values which have had their origin therein. Such a defence turns to the profit of humanity as a whole, of Latins and Germans, of Saxons and Celts, of West and East. In acting thus, we are defending directly civilization itself and indirectly the Church. The interests of the Church are not directly involved, for the Church belongs to the supernatural order. In such a combat, however, we are indirectly defending her, for the purer a civilization is, the better will it favour (in the order of dispositive causality), the acceptance of the supernatural life of faith and love. On the other hand, to defend the Church is to work in the most efficacious manner possible for the preservation of civilization. The action of the Catholic Church ever aims at protecting, restoring and purifying the civilizations with which she comes in contact.

We must, therefore, never lose sight of the hierarchical order of values, or we shall be involved in endless confusion. The supernatural values authentically represented by the Church come first. Then come the natural values. Amongst these, those which are universal, which form the purest treasure of human intelligence, for example, that a man is not merely matter, hold the first place. After them take their place the natural values that are less universal and more concrete, finally material goods. Most of the errors condemned in the Syllabus of Pope Pius IX attack supernatural values. Some, however, such as those reproved in Propositions 58-64, are directly opposed to universal natural values.

On the one hand, then, as in the present order of the world, it is not possible for a man to develop his natural powers in a fully harmonious manner without supernatural life, the attitude towards the Mystical Body of Christ, the Catholic Church, charged with the diffusion of the Divine Life, is the spiritual principle of the soul of a civilization and the real touchstone of its values. On the other hand, wherever the action of the Church has been favoured, she has conferred untold benefits in the order of civilization. She has striven, everywhere, to keep clearly in view the end of all true culture, the formation of true human personality, that is, resemblance to our Lord Jesus Christ. While so doing, however, she has never failed to inspire and promote ordered natural development. It is the truth of the Church's action on culture which is stressed by Pope Saint Pius X in his Encyclical Letter Il Fermo Proposito, addressed to the Bishops of Italy in 1905: [Droleskey note: I am, solely for the sake of my own time, simply copying and pasting the text quoted by Father Fahey while omitting his own few interjections ]:

4. Over and above spiritual goods, however, there are many goods of the natural order over which the Church has no direct mission, although they flow as a natural consequence from her divine mission. The light of Catholic revelation is of such a nature that it diffuses itself with the greatest brilliance on every science. The force of the evangelical counsels is so powerful that it strengthens and firmly establishes the precepts of the natural law. The fruitfulness of the doctrine and morality taught by Jesus Christ is so limitless that providentially it sustains and promotes the material welfare of the individual, the family, and society. The Church, even in preaching Jesus Christ crucified, "stumbling-block and foolishness to the world," has become the foremost leader and protector of civilization. She brought it wherever her apostles preached. She preserved and protected the good elements of the ancient pagan civilizations, disentangling from barbarism and educating for a new civilization the peoples who flocked to her maternal bosom. She endowed every civilization, gradually, but with a certain and always progressive step, with that excellent mark which is today universally preserved. The civilization of the world is Christian. The more completely Christian it is, the more true, more lasting and more productive of genuine fruit it is. On the other hand, the further it draws away from the Christian ideal, the more seriously the social order is endangered. By the very nature of things, the Church has consequently become the guardian and protector of Christian society. That fact was universally recognized and admitted in other periods of history. In truth, it formed a solid foundation for civil legislation. On that very fact rested the relations between Church and State; the public recognition of the authority of the Church in those matters which touched upon conscience in any manner, the subordination of all the laws of the State to the Divine laws of the Gospel; the harmony of the two powers in securing the temporal welfare of the people in such a way that their eternal welfare did not suffer.

5. We have no need to tell you, Venerable Brethren, what prosperity and well-being, what peace and harmony, what respectful subjection to authority and what excellent government would be obtained and maintained in the world if one could see in practice the perfect ideal of Christian civilization. Granting, however, the continual battle of the flesh against the spirit, darkness against light, Satan against God, such cannot be hoped for, at least in all its fullness. Hence, raids are continually being made on the peaceful conquests of the Church. The sadness and pain these cause is accentuated by the fact that society tends more and more to be governed by principles opposed to that very Christian ideal, and is even in danger of completely falling away from God.

6. This fact, however, is no reason to lose courage. The Church well knows that the gates of hell will not prevail against her. Furthermore, she knows that she will be sorely afflicted; that her apostles are sent as lambs among wolves; that her followers will always bear the brunt of hatred and contempt, just as her Divine Founder received hatred and contempt. So the Church advances unafraid, spreading the Kingdom of God wherever she preaches and studying every possible means she can use in regaining the losses in the kingdom already conquered. "To restore all things in Christ" has always been the Church's motto, and it is especially Our Own during these fearful moments through which we are now passing. "To restore all things" -- not in any haphazard fashion, but "in Christ"; and the Apostle adds, "both those in the heavens and those on the earth."[4] "To restore all things in Christ" includes not only what properly pertains to the divine mission of the Church, namely, leading souls to God, but also what We have already explained as flowing from that divine mission, namely, Christian civilization in each and every one of the elements composing it. (Pope Saint Pius X, Il Fermo Proposito, June 11, 1905.)

For St. Thomas, as we have seen in a previous chapter, contemplation is the end of civil government, not that civil government is meant to aim at it as its proportionate end, but because it can prepare for it as for a higher end, superior to political ends and preferable to them. Thus, when a tiller of the soil makes ready the ground for planting, he is preparing for the flowers and fruits that will spring from the cultivated soil. Civilization, as we have already said, has directly in view the development of human nature here below., but mediately it is ordained to the Kingdom of God, that is, to the order of eternal and supernatural life begun here below, and it is from the Kingdom of God that it must receive the supreme rule and measure. Civilization is the development of the truly human life of the State. It belongs of itself to the natural order: metaphyics, art, science, politics, civic virtues.   But it cannot attain its full development except under the supernatural sky of the Church. Christian civilization is the overflow of the Kingdom of heaven. It is the impress of the Mystical Body of Christ on man's natural social organization. (Father Denis Fahey, The Mystical Body of Christ in the Modern World, pp. 135-138; .p. 139.)

The right ordering of a nation is not a matter of black and white or brown and yellow.

The right ordering of a nation governed according to just principles that keep the scope of the powers of the civil state as limited as necessary does not the fortunes of a political party that might suffer as a result of a change in its demographic composition.

The right ordering of a nation is entirely dependent, as Father Fahey noted, upon the impress of the Mystical Body of Christ upon it.

Pope Saint Pius X explained in Notre Charge Apostolique, August 15, 1910, that civilization could be built only on the foundation of the true city, the Catholic City, and absolutely nothing else:

This, nevertheless, is what they want to do with human society; they dream of changing its natural and traditional foundations; they dream of a Future City built on different principles, and they dare to proclaim these more fruitful and more beneficial than the principles upon which the present Christian City rests.

No, Venerable Brethren, We must repeat with the utmost energy in these times of social and intellectual anarchy when everyone takes it upon himself to teach as a teacher and lawmaker - the City cannot be built otherwise than as God has built it; society cannot be setup unless the Church lays the foundations and supervises the work; no, civilization is not something yet to be found, nor is the New City to be built on hazy notions; it has been in existence and still is: it is Christian civilization, it is the Catholic City. It has only to be set up and restored continually against the unremitting attacks of insane dreamers, rebels and miscreants. omnia instaurare in Christo. (Pope Saint Pius X, Notre Charge Apostolique, August 15, 1910.)

It is very difficult even for some Catholics to speak in these terms when they are steeped in the mythologies of the American founding without for one moment recognizing, no less admitting publicly, that Catholicism is the one and only foundation of personal and social order.

One of the supreme ironies in all of this is that the chief conciliar revolutionary these days, Joseph Ratzinger/Benedict XVI, having been formed by a welter of errors that seek to "reconcile" Modernity with what he thinks is Catholicism, not only rejects the contention that Catholicism is the one and only foundation of personal order, he embraces what "conservative" Catholics rightly find abhorrent: international organizations to control all manner of public policy, including international financial markets:

VATICAN CITY (CNS) -- A Vatican document called for the gradual creation of a world political authority with broad powers to regulate financial markets and rein in the "inequalities and distortions of capitalist development."

The document said the current global financial crisis has revealed "selfishness, collective greed and the hoarding of goods on a great scale." A supranational authority, it said, is needed to place the common good at the center of international economic activity.

The 41-page text was titled, "Toward Reforming the International Financial and Monetary Systems in the Context of Global Public Authority." Prepared by the Pontifical Council for Justice and Peace, it was released Oct. 24 in several languages, including a provisional translation in English.

The document cited the teachings of popes over the last 40 years on the need for a universal public authority that would transcend national interests. The current economic crisis, which has seen growing inequality between the rich and poor of the world, underlines the necessity to take concrete steps toward creating such an authority, it said.

One major step, it said, should be reform of the international monetary system in a way that involves developing countries. The document foresaw creation of a "central world bank" that would regulate the flow of monetary exchanges; it said the International Monetary Fund had lost the ability to control the amount of credit risk taken on by the system.

The document also proposed:

-- Taxation measures on financial transactions. Revenues could contribute to the creation of a "world reserve fund" to support the economies of countries his by crisis, it said.

-- Forms of recapitalization of banks with public funds that make support conditional on "virtuous" behavior aimed at developing the real economy.

-- More effective management of financial shadow markets that are largely uncontrolled today.

Such moves would be designed to make the global economy more responsive to the needs of the person, and less "subordinated to the interests of countries that effectively enjoy a position of economic and financial advantage," it said.

In making the case for a global authority, the document said the continued model of nationalistic self-interest seemed "anachronistic and surreal" in the age of globalization.

"We should not be afraid to propose new ideas, even if they might destabilize pre-existing balances of power that prevail over the weakest," it said. (Vatican document calls for global authority to regulate markets.)

Goodbye, legitimate sovereignty of individual nations, not that there's very much left to find these days, you understand.

Goodbye, private property.

Hello, One World Governance.

Hello, Communism.

Although Vatican spokesflack "Father" Federico Lombardi, S.J., has said that the new document is not a work of the "papal magisterium" (true enough when one considers that Ratzinger/Benedict is not a legitimate Successor of Saint Peter). It is simply "an authoritative note of a Vatican agency." In other words, it's one of those unofficial, "nonbinding" Vatican documents that get released now and again that make it appear as though they have the absolute and official support of the conciliar church. Lombardi when out of his way to state that the "authoritative note of a Vatican agency should be not considered as what "Pope Benedict says."

This is very curious when one considers the simple fact that Ratzinger/Benedict himself called for such a global authority in Caritas in Veritate, June 30, 2009:

In the face of the unrelenting growth of global interdependence, there is a strongly felt need, even in the midst of a global recession, for a reform of the United Nations Organization, and likewise of economic institutions and international finance, so that the concept of the family of nations can acquire real teeth. One also senses the urgent need to find innovative ways of implementing the principle of the responsibility to protect and of giving poorer nations an effective voice in shared decision-making. This seems necessary in order to arrive at a political, juridical and economic order which can increase and give direction to international cooperation for the development of all peoples in solidarity. To manage the global economy; to revive economies hit by the crisis; to avoid any deterioration of the present crisis and the greater imbalances that would result; to bring about integral and timely disarmament, food security and peace; to guarantee the protection of the environment and to regulate migration: for all this, there is urgent need of a true world political authority, as my predecessor Blessed John XXIII indicated some years ago. Such an authority would need to be regulated by law, to observe consistently the principles of subsidiarity and solidarity, to seek to establish the common good, and to make a commitment to securing authentic integral human development inspired by the values of charity in truth. Furthermore, such an authority would need to be universally recognized and to be vested with the effective power to ensure security for all, regard for justice, and respect for right. Obviously it would have to have the authority to ensure compliance with its decisions from all parties, and also with the coordinated measures adopted in various international forums. Without this, despite the great progress accomplished in various sectors, international law would risk being conditioned by the balance of power among the strongest nations. The integral development of peoples and international cooperation require the establishment of a greater degree of international ordering, marked by subsidiarity, for the management of globalization. They also require the construction of a social order that at last conforms to the moral order, to the interconnection between moral and social spheres, and to the link between politics and the economic and civil spheres, as envisaged by the Charter of the United Nations. (Caritas in veritate, June 29, 2009.)

It is no wonder that the "Pontifical" Council for Justice and Peace cited the "popes" of the "past forty years" as its "authority" on the global financial markets authority that would transfer more and more power to bureaucrats and bankers who despise the mere mention of the Holy Name of Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ as our true popes warned us specifically about such entities:

The same applies to the notion of Fraternity which they found on the love of common interest or, beyond all philosophies and religions, on the mere notion of humanity, thus embracing with an equal love and tolerance all human beings and their miseries, whether these are intellectual, moral, or physical and temporal. But Catholic doctrine tells us that the primary duty of charity does not lie in the toleration of false ideas, however sincere they may be, nor in the theoretical or practical indifference towards the errors and vices in which we see our brethren plunged, but in the zeal for their intellectual and moral improvement as well as for their material well-being. Catholic doctrine further tells us that love for our neighbor flows from our love for God, Who is Father to all, and goal of the whole human family; and in Jesus Christ whose members we are, to the point that in doing good to others we are doing good to Jesus Christ Himself. Any other kind of love is sheer illusion, sterile and fleeting.

Indeed, we have the human experience of pagan and secular societies of ages past to show that concern for common interests or affinities of nature weigh very little against the passions and wild desires of the heart. No, Venerable Brethren, there is no genuine fraternity outside Christian charity. Through the love of God and His Son Jesus Christ Our Saviour, Christian charity embraces all men, comforts all, and leads all to the same faith and same heavenly happiness.. . .

But stranger still, alarming and saddening at the same time, are the audacity and frivolity of men who call themselves Catholics and dream of re-shaping society under such conditions, and of establishing on earth, over and beyond the pale of the Catholic Church, "the reign of love and justice" with workers coming from everywhere, of all religions and of no religion, with or without beliefs, so long as they forego what might divide them - their religious and philosophical convictions, and so long as they share what unites them - a "generous idealism and moral forces drawn from whence they can" When we consider the forces, knowledge, and supernatural virtues which are necessary to establish the Christian City, and the sufferings of millions of martyrs, and the light given by the Fathers and Doctors of the Church, and the self-sacrifice of all the heroes of charity, and a powerful hierarchy ordained in heaven, and the streams of Divine Grace - the whole having been built up, bound together, and impregnated by the life and spirit of Jesus Christ, the Wisdom of God, the Word made man - when we think, I say, of all this, it is frightening to behold new apostles eagerly attempting to do better by a common interchange of vague idealism and civic virtues. What are they going to produce? What is to come of this collaboration? A mere verbal and chimerical construction in which we shall see, glowing in a jumble, and in seductive confusion, the words Liberty, Justice, Fraternity, Love, Equality, and human exultation, all resting upon an ill-understood human dignity. It will be a tumultuous agitation, sterile for the end proposed, but which will benefit the less Utopian exploiters of the people. Yes, we can truly say that the Sillon, its eyes fixed on a chimera, brings Socialism in its train.

We fear that worse is to come: the end result of this developing promiscuousness, the beneficiary of this cosmopolitan social action, can only be a Democracy which will be neither Catholic, nor Protestant, nor Jewish. It will be a religion (for Sillonism, so the leaders have said, is a religion) more universal than the Catholic Church, uniting all men become brothers and comrades at last in the "Kingdom of God". - "We do not work for the Church, we work for mankind." (Pope Saint Pius X, Notre Charge Apostolique, August 15, 1910.)

The principles of The Sillon in France that were condemned by Pope Saint Pius X a century ago now are vital constituent elements of conciliarism's world view, which was shaped also by the principles of the heresy of Americanism that were condemned by Pope Leo XIII in Testem Benevolentiae Nostrae, January 22, 1899. Each of the falsehoods of Modernity have contributed in a variety of ways to producing the madness of the apostasy that is conciliarism, a madness that believes an global agency can be created to regulate international financial markets by relying upon the very Talmudic financiers and bureaucrats who run the world's finances.

Father Denis Fahey is excoriated to this day because he did not shrink from pointing out the truth as to who is charge of the warfare against the Social Reign of Christ the King in the world that has made of the conciliar "popes" but mere mouthpieces, at least more often than not, for the Talmudic agenda:

The Jewish nation has gradually become the most strongly organised non-secret visible force working for the elimination of the supernatural outlook in society and for the installation of naturalism. The supernatural outlook insists that we are a race whose highest life, the divine life of grace, by which the Blessed Trinity dwells in our souls, was lost by the fall of Adam, but restored by our Lord Jesus Christ. Naturalism denies the existence of any life higher than natural life and maintains that social relations must be organised on that basis. As members of Christ we are bound to work for the return of society to our loving Saviour, so that social organisation may be permeated with the reality of the supernatural life of grace. Pope Pius XI insists on this in the encyclical on the Kingship of Christ. Let us now take two examples of how our efforts to combat naturalism will bring us into conflict with the Jews in their preparations for the naturalistic Messias. The first example will deal with the political, the second with the economic, organisation of the world.

States and nations are bound to acknowledge the Catholic Church as the one true Church. Pope Pius XI shows that the naturalistic spirit has gradually come to infect society, because “by degrees the religion of Christ was put on the same level as false religions, and placed ignominiously in the same category with them.” Previously Pope Pius VII had written: “By the fact that the freedom of all forms of worship is proclaimed, truth is confused with error, and the holy and immaculate Spouse of Christ, outside of which there can be no salvation, is placed on the same level as heretical sects, and even as Jewish perfidy.” Now, since the French Revolution, states have placed all forms of error on the same level as the Mystical Body of Christ, and Jews have been admitted as full citizens of the once Christian states. By granting full citizenship to members of the Jewish religion, the state, to all intents and purposes, gives free rein to the naturalistic moulding process pursued by the Jewish nation, in view of the elimination of membership of Christ and the inauguration of the new messianic, era. It thus shows itself indifferent in the struggle between the true supernatural Messias, who has come, and the naturalistic messias, to whom the Jews look forward.

In regard to the economic organisation of the world, Pope Pius XI insists that “then only will it be possible to unite all in harmonious striving for the common good, when all sections of society have the intimate conviction that they are all members of a single family and children of the same heavenly Father and further, that they are one body in Christ, and everyone members one of another (Rom. XIII, 5).” To have lasting peace in society we Catholics, then, must strive to bring back the great truth that employers and employed must treat one another as members of Christ. It is, as we have seen, part of what we promise Christ as King, when we make submission to our Heavenly Father along with Christ as Priest at Mass. Now, the aim of the Jewish nation is to substitute for the supernatural Messias in whom we are members of one body, the rule of the natural messias. Accordingly, in virtue of Catholic principles, we must oppose the efforts of the Jews to get control of the economic organisation of society. How can we succeed in getting employers and employed to treat one another as members of Christ, if we allow social organisation to pass into the hands of those who have persistently denied and rejected His divine mission and for whom the supernatural Kingdom of His Mystical Body is simply a fraudulent attempt to turn Israel aside from its destiny.

We have, therefore, to resist and defeat Jewish efforts to dominate social organisms and mould them along naturalistic lines, in opposition to our Lord and His Mystical Body. The guilds of the Middle Ages, which reflected the solidarity of the members of the Mystical Body of Christ in economic organisation, rendered wonderful services to their members in times of sickness and need, thus efficaciously preventing Jewish money lenders from gaining control of families and property. We too in our day must safeguard the poor and needy from being tortured by Jewish money lenders. Our action in this connection however, must not be merely the negative one of combating illegalities and getting laws suitably amended, but the positive one of setting up organisations which will render services similar to those rendered by the guilds. Besides this safeguarding of the poor and needy, there is the more far reaching question of the creation of money and the regulation of the volume of exchange medium used by Christian peoples. That power must not be allowed to fall into, some would say to remain in, Jewish hands, or to fall into the hands of nominal or erstwhile Christians, Masons and others, who are dependent upon, or in alliance with Jews. We must combat Jewish attempts to bring under their domination individual Catholics and Catholic countries, even more vigorously than we must struggle against Freemasonry, because the Jews form a more strongly organised and more cohesive naturalistic force than Freemasonry.

It is not easy to combat Jewish naturalism in public life and at the same time keep oneself free from racial hatred, which is itself but a form of naturalism. Yet it must be done. On March 25th 1928, the Congregation of the Holy Office abolished the association called The Friends of Israel, which in action and language had departed from the mind of the Church and of the Fathers and had adopted a mode of procedure abhorrent to the liturgy, thus falling into naturalism. Nevertheless in that same decree, the Church insists upon the fact that she “habitually prays for the Jewish people which was the custodian of the divine promises down to Jesus Christ, and this, in spite of, nay rather on account of, their subsequent blindness. Actuated by this spirit of charity the Apostolic See has protected this people against unjust treatment and, as it condemns every kind of hatred and jealousy between nations, so in a special manner it condemns hatred of the people once chosen by God, namely, that hatred commonly designated as ‘Anti-Semitism.’”

Particular attention must be called to the phrase once chosen by God. It is the second time that the Holy See uses the phrase in recent years, the other being in the text of the prayer approved of by Pope Pius XI for the consecration of the human race to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. The Holy See is evidently insisting upon the fact that there is no longer any chosen people or race, except in so far as the Jews, who were the custodians of the divine promises until the time of Jesus Christ, despite their official rejection of the Supernatural Messias, have not ceased to be the members of His own race. Certain nations have at times shown themselves, to some extent at least, dazzled by the belief that they were the chosen people or race, in the natural order. The pagan cult of race is but a modern manifestation of naturalism.

The Jews look upon themselves now as the Chosen People, because they hold that they are the people destined to bring happiness to the world in the messianic era yet to come. Catholic writers would do well not to pander to this naturalism, by speaking of the Jews simply as the Chosen People, for thus they increase the confusion of thought in modern times. The Jews were chosen to be the custodians of the divine promises until the coming of Jesus Christ, of whom they were to be the fount according to the flesh. They have not ceased to be the race in which the “Word was made flesh,” and as such, they are the object of special love on the part of our Lord. But the naturalism by which they rejected Him and continue to hold that the happiness of the world is to come through their messianic aspirations is false and must be everywhere combated.

We have, therefore, a twofold programme set out before us. We must, on the one hand, defend our Lord’s rights and, on the other, seek to tear away the veil from the eyes of those whose blindness hurts Him in a special way. This is the programme set before us in these words of the Encyclical Letter, Quas Primas of Pope Pius XI. “If the faithful generally would understand that it is their duty to fight bravely and continually under the banner of Christ their King, then, fired with apostolic zeal, they would endeavour to win over to our Lord those who are estranged from Him or know Him not, and would valiantly defend His rights.”

Pope Pius X insisted in most appealing fashion upon the need for courage on the part of Catholics in the modem world, in the discourse he pronounced on the 13th December 1908 at the beatification of Joan of Arc. To St. Joan’s mind the coronation and anointing of the King of France were ever present, because that anointing did homage to the universal Kingship of Christ and linked up political power with the government of the Lord Jesus. She was the saint sent to remind the world, at the decline of the Middle Ages, of the formal principle of order in the world, the acknowledgment of the Kingship of Christ. The saintly Pope spoke of the heroism of Blessed Joan, and contrasted it with the timidity of so many Catholics in our day: “In our time more than ever before, the chief strength of the wicked lies in the cowardice and weakness of good men . . . All the strength of Satan’s reign is due to the easy going weakness of Catholics. Oh! if I might ask the Divine Redeemer, as the prophet Zachary did in spirit: What are those wounds in the midst of thy hands? the answer would not be doubtful: With these was I wounded in the house of them that loved me. I was wounded by my friends, who did nothing to defend me, and who, on every occasion, made themselves the accomplices of my adversaries. And this reproach can be levelled at the weak and timid Catholics of all countries.” (Father Denis Fahey, The Mystical Body of Christ in the Modern World, pp.269-272; 274- 277.)

One of the chief goals of Judeo-Masonry has been to make it socially unacceptable for Catholics to speak in such terms. This warfare against Christ the King and Mary our Immaculate Queen has been very successful. Many souls have been deceived and led into the errors of naturalism, becoming apologists for political parties and/or for a generic Christianity that is not of God

Father Fahey explained how Catholics must never flinch, that they must never be intimidated by the false invocation of the phrase "anti-Semitism" to cease their opposition to the Talmudic program of naturalism:

As I was not able to bring out this book when it was originally written, it has been laid aside for years. In the meantime, the need for setting forth the full doctrine of the Kingship of Christ has been forcibly brought home to me by the confusion created in minds owing to the use of the term “Anti-Semitism.” The Hitlerite naturalistic or anti-supernatural régime in Germany gave to the world the odious spectacle of a display of Anti-Semitism, that is, of hatred of the Jewish Nation. Yet all the propaganda about that display of Anti-Semitism should not have made Catholics forget the existence of age-long Jewish Naturalism or Anti-Supernaturalism. Forgetfulness of the disorder of Jewish Naturalistic opposition to Christ the King is keeping Catholics blind to the danger that is arising from the clever extension of the term “Anti-Semitism,” with all its war-connotation in the minds of the unthinking, to include any form of opposition to the Jewish Nation’s naturalistic aims. For the leaders of the Jewish Nation, to stand for the rights of Christ the King is logically to be “anti-Semitic.”

In March, 1917, Pope Benedict XV wrote to the Archbishop of Tours: “In the midst of the present upheavals, it is important to repeat to men that by her divine institution the Catholic Church is the only ark of salvation for the human race . . . . Accordingly, it is more seasonable than ever to teach . . . that the truth which liberates, not only individuals, but societies, is supernatural truth in all its fulness and in all its purity, without attenuation, diminution or compromise: in a word, exactly as Our Lord Jesus Christ delivered it to the world.” These sublime words of the Vicar of Christ have nerved me to do all in my power to set forth the opposition of every form of Naturalism, including Jewish Naturalism, to the supernatural Reign of Christ the King. In addition, for over twenty years I have been offering the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass every year, on the Feasts of the Resurrection, Corpus Christi, SS. Peter and Paul and the Assumption of Our Blessed Mother, for the acceptance by the Jewish Nation of the Divine Plan for order. Thus I have been striving to follow the example of our Divine Master. Blessed Pius X insists that “though Jesus was kind to those who had gone astray, and to sinners, He did not respect their erroneous convictions, however sincere they appeared to be.”the need of combining firmness in the proclamation of the integral truth with loving charity towards those in error is insisted on, even more emphatically, by Pope Pius XI: “Comprehending and merciful charity towards the erring,” he writes, “and even towards the contemptuous, does not mean and can not mean that you renounce in any way the proclaiming of, the insisting on, and the courageous defence of the truth and its free and unhindered application to the realities about you. The first and obvious duty the priest owes to the world about him is service to the truth, the whole truth, the unmasking and refutation of error in whatever form or disguise it conceals itself.”

A day will come when the Jewish Nation will cease to oppose order and will turn in sorrow and repentance to Him Whom they rejected before Pilate. That will be a glorious triumph for the Immaculate Heart of Our Blessed Mother. Until that day dawns, however, their naturalistic opposition to the True Supernatural Order of the world must be exposed and combated. (Father Denis Fahey, Foreword, The Kingship of Christ and the Conversion of the Jewish Nation.)

As is noted all the time on this site, even on those reduced occasions when new articles appear as I work now on volume two of my book, we are living through a period of terrible chastisements. There is no naturalistic or religiously indifferentist way out of this mess. The path out of this mess runs through the Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary and the fulfillment of her Fatima Message.

To combat the naturalism that is at the foundation of the modern civil state--and with which the counterfeit church of conciliarism has made its "official reconciliation"--that is at the root of social disorder domestically and the erosion of national sovereignty by international organizations and multinational corporations we must, of course, be cleansed in the Sacred Tribunal of Penance as the merits of the Most Precious Blood of Jesus are poured out upon our immortal souls as a laver of redemption. We must be cleansed of our own enslavement to sin and selfishness as we give unto the Most Blessed Trinity through the Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary whatever merits we might earn from our prayers and good works and penances and sufferings and mortifications and from the calumnies that we must endure for refusing any "communion" at all with wolves dressed up as "shepherds" who are committed to and propagate the falsehoods of conciliarism. And we must be ever earnest about fulfilling Our Lady's Fatima Message in our own lives, praying as many Rosaries each day as our states-in-life permit.

Immaculate Heart of Mary, triumph soon!
