Maybe Saint Paul Should Apologize, Too, "Cardinal" George?

by Thomas A. Droleskey

Conciliar "popes" and their "cardinals" and "bishops" just can't keep their mouths shut.

Joseph Ratzinger/Benedict XVI, following the model established the endlessly chatter of Karol Wojtyla/John Paul II, can't stop publishing his apostate books and and giving interviews, most of them staged with prepared sets of questions posed to him by his spokesflack, "Father" Federico Lombardi, S.J., in the press section of the charter flights that take him to foreign destinations. Some of these books and the answers he has given in his interviews have prompted Lombardi and officials in some of the Vatican's dicasteries have required clarifications after clarifications ad nauseam, ad infinitum (see Nothing New Under the Conciliar Sun, Honesty and Truth, Coloring Everything He Says and Does, part one, Coloring Everything He Says and Does, part two, As We Continue To Blaspheme Christ the King and His True Church, If Them, Why Not Others?, Let the Olympic Games of Absurdity Begin!, Razing The Last Bastions, Nothing New Under Benedict's Sun and Words and Actions Without Consequences, among many, many others).

Others in the conciliar "structures" simply have been following Ratzinger/Benedict's apostate lead as they say and do things that are offensive to God and the Holy Faith and thus injurious to souls and to all social order as a result.

Timothy Dolan, the conciliar "archbishop" of New York, who has just been named as a "cardinal" by Joseph Ratzinger/Benedict XVI, has put his sizable foot into his mouth any number of times, doing so when he said the following:

Thanksgiving is a time of the year when people are open to the Lord, and we don't think about ourselves. We're grateful to God. We're conscious that somebody, some call him or her, whatever you want, somebody beyond us is in charge, and we are immensely grateful. (Is 'Superman' Catholic?)

Want more of this tripe? Go ahead, read Making Everyone Happy Except God, Whatever You Want, Making Everyone Happy Except God and Extra! Extra! Read All About It! Dolan Finally Speaks The Truth.

"Cardinal"-desginate Dolan is far from alone, however, he's got lots of company among his fellow apostates in the conciliar hierarchy in the United States of America.

One of these fellow apostates is Francis "Cardinal" George, who has been the archbishop of Chicago since May 7, 1997, and will reach the counterfeit church of concilairism's mandatory retirement age of seventy-five on January 16, 2012, although the false "pontiff" will most likely refuse to act George's letter of resignation for several years or more, meaning that Catholics attached to the conciliar structures in the Archdiocese of Chicago will have several more years of outrages such as the one represented by their "cardinal's" apology for having offended those who identify themselves by their unrepentant persistence in perverse sins against the the Sixth and the Ninth Commandments.

Here is a transcript of the excerpt from a December 22, 2011, interview with reporters from Fox Chicago Sunday that was aired on Christmas Day, Sunday, December 25, 2011:

Mike Flannery, Fox Chicago News Political Editor: The Gay Pride Parade is going to go right by there [Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church on West Belmont Avenue], at least it is scheduled to. What’s your view? The pastor there is upset by that.

Cardinal Francis George, Archbishop of Chicago: Well, I go with the pastor. I mean, he’s telling us that they won’t be able to have Church services on Sunday, if that’s the case.

You know, you don’t want the Gay Liberation Movement to morph into something like the Ku Klux Klan, demonstrating in the streets against Catholicism. So, I think if that’s what’s happening, and I don’t know that it is, but I would respect the local pastor’s, you know, position on that. Then I think that’s a matter of concern for all of us.

Dane S. Placko, Fox Chicago News: That’s a little strong analogy, isn’t it? Ku Klux Klan?

Cardinal George: It is. But you take a look at the rhetoric.

Placko: What rhetoric?

Cardinal George: The rhetoric of the Ku Klux Klan, the rhetoric of some in the Gay Liberation. Who is the enemy? Who is the enemy? The Catholic Church. (Transcript of Francis "Cardinal" George Interview, December 22, 2011; the video of this interview can be seen by clicking this link: Fox Chicago Sunday.)

Francis "Cardinal" George made a perfectly defensible comparison between the Ku Klux Klan and those who have organized to militate in support of recognition and acceptance of their self-identification as members of a "community" intent on the commission of sins that kill their own souls and harm the entirety of social order. By using the rhetoric of this so-called "community" when referring to the "Gay Liberation Movement" and, at another point in the interview, the "gay community," George paid public homage to the use of the slogans used by the "Homosexual Collective" or "Homintern," terms coined by Mrs. Randy Engel (see The Rite of Sodomy, designed to convey the message that those who are enslaved to the devil by their own disordered sins actually have been enslaved by "society" in general and the Catholic Church in particular. Attempts to appear "reasonable" to those who souls are in the grip of the devil himself by using their own slogans not only only winds up further emboldening such people in their sins while at the same time reaffirming Catholics and non-Catholics alike that such terms are legitimate ones to describe lobbying in behalf of one of the four sins that cry out to Heaven for vengeance.

If "Cardinal" George was possessed of the Catholic Faith--and not the synthetic faith of conciliarism, he would have made the point that it is repugnant to God and to all social order for there to be such organized demonstrations in behalf of the "rights" of those who want to be applauded for their sins, demonstrations that include all too frequently gross displays of foul conduct that are too salacious to describe in detail. As one who has been an eyewitness to such spectacles in the Borough of Manhattan in the City of New York in the late-1980s and early-1990s, some of which take place directly in front of the Cathedral of Saint Patrick on Fifth Avenue, this writer can attest to the simple truth that those who "march" and who participate in these lewd, gross displays of perversion do indeed hate God as no one can love God and hate His Commandments as they are explicated infallibly by His one and only true Church, the Catholic Church. It is impossible to say that one truly loves God while defiantly violating and furiously hating the binding precepts of the Divine Positive Law and the Natural Law. Impossible.

Was Saint John the Evangelist wrong when he wrote the following under the inspiration of the Third Person of the Most Blessed Trinity, God the Holy Ghost:

Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ, is born of God. And every one that loveth him who begot, loveth him also who is born of him. In this we know that we love the children of God: when we love God, and keep his commandments. For this is the charity of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not heavy. (1 John 5: 1-3)

We must hate our sins and seek to do penance for them as we cooperate with the graces won for us by the shedding of every single drop of the Most Precious Blood of Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ on the wood of the Holy Cross that flows into our hearts and souls through the loving hands of Our Lady, she who is the Mediatrix of All Graces, to reform our lives so that we grow in virtue. Contrary to what Francis "Cardinal" George said in his interview with reporters on Fox Chicago Sunday, the respect we owe to others is not premised upon any kind of concession that it is permissible at any time to identify oneself by his persistence in any kind of sins, no less sins that cry out to Heaven for vengeance. True respect for others starts with willing their good, which exhorts them to recognize that it is not a matter of "pride" to be attracted to members of the same gender. Such attractions are abnormal, perverse and disordered.  They are unnatural.

No one should be identifying himself, no less organizing together in "support groups" as happens in the conciliar structures, according to abnormality. These conciliar "bishops" and their clergy have simply lost their minds because they have lost the Faith and almost any true sense of the horror of personal sin (see Fearing to Offend Men Rather Than God). Then again, of course, those who are used to offending God in matters pertaining to the First and Second Commandments by means of false ecumenism and inter-religious "prayer" services are on the ready road to losing all sense of horror of any kind of personal sin and will thus lack the courage to speak forthrightly about it out of true love for the souls of those who are steeped in these sins that degrade their own bodies while at the same time cast them further and further, objectively speaking, into the grip of the devil.  And the only kind of "support" that those steeped in such sins against nature need to have is to be found in the Sacred Tribunal of Penance and a firm reliance on the graces that Our Lady sends to them to repent and reform.

Francis "Cardinal" George made a perfectly defensible comparison between the Ku Klux Klan and those who have organized to militate in support of recognition and acceptance of their self-identification as members of a "community" intent on the commission of sins that kill their own souls and harm the entirety of social order. Violence against souls and the good of public order and safety has been committed by members of the Homintern, who have gone so far as to disrupt what purports to be Catholic Masses (but are, of course, stagings of the Protestant and Masonic Novus Ordo service), doing on on Sunday, December 10, 1989, at the Cathedral of Saint Patrick in the City of New York. I know. I was there. I was an eyewitness to sights and sounds that came directly from Hell as John "Cardinal" O'Connor attempted to give his "homily" at the liturgical service. The din of hateful sounds was spiritually and physically oppressive.

The motivation for these acts of sacrilege in a grand cathedral that is still the scene of the daily sacrilege known as the Novus Ordo service (along with the occasional offerings, some true, some simulated, of the "extraordinary form of the Roman Rite) was to oppose "Cardinal" O'Connor's condemnation of then New York City schools chancellor Joseph Fernandez's "SAFE" plan to distribute a certain type of contraceptive device in public schools and to use propaganda from the organized campaign of "rights" of perversity in the form of explicit instructions about them and that students had to learn to "accept" people who were different than themselves. Included this "improved" curriculum of Joseph Fernandez were books such as Heather Has Two Mommies and Daddy's Roommate. (For a detailed article about Joseph Fernandez that is not for general reading as it contains descriptions of the sort of programs that caused one of the board members, Ninfa Segarra, to change her mind and vote down the programs, please see The Futile Crusade.)

After a firestorm of protests from the members of the Hominten in Chicago, George, after first standing his ground a la the fictional Ted Baxter in the final episode of The Mary Tyler Moore Show on March 18, 1977 (when standing up for his just fired colleagues, telling the new station manager that he'd had to be fired as well if the firings of Lou Grant, Mary Richards, Sue Ann Nivens and Murray Slaughter to stand before being told that his own job could be on the line if he pushed his threat too far, which prompted him to back down very quickly and meekly), caved, issuing not one but two different apologies.

The first apology was issued on Tuesday, December 27, 2011, the Feast of Saint John the Evangelist, just two days after the Fox Chicago Sunday interview had aired:

The Chicago Gay Pride Parade has been organized and attended for many years without interfering with the worship of God in a Catholic church. When the 2012 Parade organizers announced a time and route change this year, it was apparent that the Parade would interfere with divine worship in a Catholic parish on the new route. When the pastor's request for reconsideration of the plans was ignored, the organizers invited an obvious comparison to other groups who have historically attempted to stifle the religious freedom of the Catholic Church. One such organization is the Ku Klux Klan which, well into the 1940's, paraded through American cities not only to interfere with Catholic worship but also to demonstrate that Catholics stand outside of the American consensus. It is not a precedent anyone should want to emulate.

It is terribly wrong and sinful that gays and lesbians have been harassed and subjected to psychological and even physical harm. These tragedies can be addressed, however, without disturbing the organized and orderly public worship of God in a country that claims to be free. I am grateful that all parties concerned resolved this problem (Statement of Francis George, OMI.)

What a piece of utter Americanist sentimentality.

We do not "respect" sinful choices--and they are choices--to live in violation of the binding laws of God and nature. We respect individual human beings because they are made in the image and likeness of God. We do not "respect" sinful choices and we never "respect" as "part of who we are" perverse sins that destroy individual souls (and bodies) and harm the world.

While it is certainly wrong for anyone to physically attack other human beings who do not pose an immediate threat to their own physical well-being or that of others, most of those in the Homintern Collective believe that they have being psychologically "attacked" when their so-called "lifestyle" is criticized for being what it is, one of the four sins that cry out to Heaven for vengeance. The Homintern Collective goes to great lengths to play the "victim card" in order to get all levels of government (state, local, Federal) and public school systems and corporations and sports leagues into propagandizing in its behalf. And lost on the likes of Francis "Cardinal" George is the simple fact that attacks on the physical persons of those who publicly flaunt their perverse immorality proliferate the more that those sins are promoted, especially in a world where so many young people, trained to believe by the lies of explicit classroom instruction in matters pertaining to the Sixth and Ninth Commandments and by the mass media into surrendering to their lower passions and to accept the daily slaughter of the innocent preborn as a normal part of public law ad popular culture, act barbarically as they lack even the true Faith and Sanctifying Grace to inform them to pray for those who promote sins and to make sacrifices to the Mother of God for their conversion.

As I told a man who was shouting "Kill yourselves!" at the assembly of assorted perverts who were marching down Fifth Avenue in 1990, "Stop this. These people are loved by God. Our Lord died to redeem them. He wants them with Him for all eternity in Heaven. We do not want any human being to annihilate themselves by committing suicide. The sin of Sodom does indeed cry out to Heaven for vengeance. We must pray our Rosaries so that those who are steeped in this sin will surrender themselves to the ineffable mercy of the Divine Redeemer in the Sacred Tribunal of Penance and rely upon Our Lady to help avoid all near occasions of sin." The man to whom I was speaking then yelled back at with with words that cannot be repeated. He did not understand that true Charity condemns the sin while praying for the conversion of the sinner.

We must be kind to those whom we meet and with whom it is within God's Holy Providence for us to correspond. We must firm, however, in our denunciation of sin while we assure those who are steeped in it without any desire to reform or any sorrow for what they continue to do of our prayers. We do not "apologize" at any time for calling sin by its proper name and/for condemning public demonstrations in support it. After all, did not sin cause Our Lord to suffer horribly in His Sacred Humanity during His fearful Passion and Death? Did not sin cause those Seven Swords of Sorrow to be thrust through an through into the Immaculate Heart of Mary? To speak of the word "liberty" in the context of public demonstrations in support of sinful behavior is repugnant to God. Yes, each of us is a sinner. It is, of course, one thing to sin and/or to struggle against a particular sin or set of vices or faults. It is quite another to persist in sin unrepentantly, to justify it or exalt it in public.

Francis "Cardinal" George's first apology simply fed into the behemoth that is the "rainbow coalition," emboldening them to speak up in behalf of "human rights" and to seek to bully--yes, to bully--anyone and everyone who dares to disagree with them.

It gets worse. It always does with these conciliar "bishops." It always gets worse as they have not an ounce of true apostolic courage, which itself is an unwitting proof of the fact that they are not true Successors of the Apostles, simply men who have possession of our Catholic buildings and churches and offices as they masquerade around in the regalia of bishops even though they expelled themselves long ago from the bosom of Holy Mother Church for adhering to one condemned proposition after another:

Not content with this first apology to those who were "offended" by his original remarks, Francis "Cardinal" George, simply following the "clarification" paradigm patented so well by Ratzinger/Benedict, issued another statement just four days ago, that is, on Friday, January 6, 2012:

During a recent TV interview, speaking about this year's Gay Pride Parade, I used an analogy that is inflammatory.

I am personally distressed that what I said has been taken to mean that I believe all gays and lesbians are like members of the Klan.  I do not believe that; it is obviously not true.  Many people have friends and family members who are gay or lesbian, as have I.  We love them; they are part of our lives, part of who we are.  I am deeply sorry for the hurt that my remarks have brought to the hearts of gays and lesbians and their families.

I can only say that my remarks were motivated by fear for the Church's liberty.  This is a larger topic that cannot be explored in this expression of personal sorrow and sympathy for those who were wounded by what I said. (Click on Archdiocese of Chicago, then to to the "News and Events" listing on the left side of your computer screen, holding the mouse over and then clicking on "News Releases.")

A "larger topic that cannot be explored in this expression of personal sorrow and sympathy for those who were wounded by what I said"? What's the "larger topic"? Religious liberty? "Liberty" for the Homintern to bully all possible opposition into silence? What's the larger issue.

Well, perhaps the answer is to be found in the following excerpt from the Chicago Tribune, which quotes "Cardinal" George without specifying the exact time in which the comment was made:

George said although church teaching does not judge same-sex relationships as morally acceptable, it does encourage the faithful to "respect everyone."

"The question is, 'Does respect mean that we have to change our teaching?' That's an ongoing discussion, of course. ... I still go back to the fact that these are people we know and love and are part of our families. That's the most important point right now." (George Apologizes Again.)

Ongoing discussion? About what? About recognizing "relationships" between individuals engaged in one unrepentant Mortal Sin after another.

Where do these apologies stop?

According to the empty sentimentality of Francis "Cardinal" George, who once praised the Mormon sect for their "contributions" in the "market place of ideas," perhaps Saint Paul the Apostle owes an apology to the "gay community" of the following words that he wrote under the inspiration of God the Holy Ghost:

[18] For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and injustice of those men that detain the truth of God in injustice: [19] Because that which is known of God is manifest in them. For God hath manifested it unto them. [20] For the invisible things of him, from the creation of the world, are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made; his eternal power also, and divinity: so that they are inexcusable.

[21] Because that, when they knew God, they have not glorified him as God, or given thanks; but became vain in their thoughts, and their foolish heart was darkened. [22] For professing themselves to be wise, they became fools. [23] And they changed the glory of the incorruptible God into the likeness of the image of a corruptible man, and of birds, and of fourfooted beasts, and of creeping things. [24] Wherefore God gave them up to the desires of their heart, unto uncleanness, to dishonour their own bodies among themselves. [25] Who changed the truth of God into a lie; and worshipped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.

[26] For this cause God delivered them up to shameful affections. For their women have changed the natural use into that use which is against nature. [27] And, in like manner, the men also, leaving the natural use of the women, have burned in their lusts one towards another, men with men working that which is filthy, and receiving in themselves the recompense which was due to their error. [28] And as they liked not to have God in their knowledge, God delivered them up to a reprobate sense, to do those things which are not convenient; [29] Being filled with all iniquity, malice, fornication, avarice, wickedness, full of envy, murder, contention, deceit, malignity, whisperers, [30] Detractors, hateful to God, contumelious, proud, haughty, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, [31] Foolish, dissolute, without affection, without fidelity, without mercy. [32] Who, having known the justice of God, did not understand that they who do such things, are worthy of death; and not only they that do them, but they also that consent to them that do them. (Romans 1: 18-32.)

Perhaps God Himself owes an apology to the "gay community," "Cardinal" George, for destroying the sins of Sodom and Gomorrha because of a perverse sin that has become a cause celebre in our own times, replete with its own set of slogans and "rules of engagement" which we are supposed to acknowledge by conceding the rhetorical high ground and speaking of those steeped in such sins as though they were victims rather than perpetrators of injustice against God and against their own own immortal souls:

[13] And the men of Sodom were very wicked, and sinners before the face of the Lord, beyond measure. (Genesis 13: 13)

[23] The sun was risen upon the earth, and Lot entered into Segor. [24] And the Lord rained upon Sodom and Gomorrha brimstone and fire from the Lord out of heaven. [Genesis 19:24] [Latin] [25] And he destroyed these cities, and all the country about, all the inhabitants of the cities, and all things that spring from the earth.

[26] And his wife looking behind her, was turned into a statue of salt. [27] And Abraham got up early in the morning and in the place where he had stood before with the Lord, [28] He looked towards Sodom and Gomorrha, and the whole land of that country: and he saw the ashes rise up from the earth as the smoke of a furnace. [29] Now when God destroyed the cities of that country, remembering Abraham, he delivered Lot out of the destruction of the cities wherein he had dwelt. (Genesis 19: 23-29)

God has not apologized. Saint Paul has not apologized.

Indeed, Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ explained that a worse fate than that of the land of Sodom and Gomorrha await those who live in places where His Apostles and disciples have to shake the dust off of their feet because His Gospel has not been accepted:

And into whatsoever city or town you shall enter, inquire who in it is worthy, and there abide till you go thence. And when you come into the house, salute it, saying: Peace be to this house. And if that house be worthy, your peace shall come upon it; but if it be not worthy, your peace shall return to you. And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words: going forth out of that house or city shake off the dust from your feet. Amen I say to you, it shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrha in the day of judgment, than for that city. (Matthew 10: 11-15.)

No one needs to apologize for calling sin by its rightful name and to point out that no one has the right before God or man to celebrate his sins in public. Period. End of discussion.

It is impossible to pursue the common temporal good while supporting those things that are repugnant to the peace and happiness of eternity:

The more closely the temporal power of a nation aligns itself with the spiritual, and the more it fosters and promotes the latter, by so much the more it contributes to the conservation of the commonwealth. For it is the aim of the ecclesiastical authority by the use of spiritual means, to form good Christians in accordance with its own particular end and object; and in doing this it helps at the same time to form good citizens, and prepares them to meet their obligations as members of a civil society. This follows of necessity because in the City of God, the Holy Roman Catholic Church, a good citizen and an upright man are absolutely one and the same thing. How grave therefore is the error of those who separate things so closely united, and who think that they can produce good citizens by ways and methods other than those which make for the formation of good Christians. For, let human prudence say what it likes and reason as it pleases, it is impossible to produce true temporal peace and tranquillity by things repugnant or opposed to the peace and happiness of eternity. (Silvio Cardinal Antoniano, quoted by Pope Pius XI in Divini Illius Magistri, December 31, 1929.)

We have much reparation to make to the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus through the Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary for our sins and for those of the whole world. Much reparation to make, especially in this month of June that has been so perverted by ecclesiastical practitioners of perverse liturgies and doctrines and by the practitioners of perverse sins against the Sixth and Ninth Commandments.

With Our Lady as our sure guide and intercessor, may we indeed be ever earnest about making reparation for our own many sins, each of has contributed to the worsening of the state of the Church Militant here on earth and of the world-at-large. Once again, make no mistake about it: our own sins and our ingratitude and our lukewarmness have exacerbated, that is, worsened, the state of the Church Militant on earth. We cannot be content to wallow in spiritual mediocrity. We must accept whatever penances and humiliations that God chooses to send us so that we can give them back to His Most Sacred Heart through the Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of His Most Blessed Mother as her consecrated slaves, especially by means of praying as many Rosaries as our states-in-life permit.

Our Lady stands by the tomb of her Divine Son, Who has been buried mystically by the conciliarists' contempt for the truths that He has revealed exclusively through His Catholic Church and have been taught infallibly by her without any hint or shadow of change from Pentecost Sunday. We must keep her company at that tomb in our prayers, being ever willing to take on more penances and to renounce our own comfort and convenience and all attachment to human respect in order to help to usher in the day when the Triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary will make it possible for the enemies of her Divine Son in the modern world and in the grips of Modernism will be vanquished, permitting the restoration of all things in Christ the King as we honor her as our Immaculate Queen.
