The naturalists of the false opposite of the "left" who comprise the organized crime family of naturalism known as the Democratic Party here in the United States of America differ only from their false opposites of the naturalist "right" by degree. Both sets of naturalists are in complete agreement that it is possible for men and their nations to govern themselves absent a due subordination to the Sacred Deposit of Faith that Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ has entrusted exclusively to His Catholic Church for Its eternal safekeeping and infallible explication and without belief in, access to and cooperation with the the Sanctifying Graces He won for men on the wood of the Holy Cross and that flow into our hearts and souls through the loving hands of Our Lady, she who is the Mediatrix of All Graces.
Writing in his first encyclical letter, Ubi Arcano Dei Consilio, December 23, 1922, Pope Pius XI summarized the truth about modern political parties and their principal concern for the acquisition, retention and expansion of their raw political power:
To these evils we must add the contests between political parties, many
of which struggles do not originate in a real difference of opinion
concerning the public good or in a laudable and disinterested search for
what would best promote the common welfare, but in the desire for power
and for the protection of some private interest which inevitably result
in injury to the citizens as a whole. From this course there often
arise robberies of what belongs rightly to the people, and even
conspiracies against and attacks on the supreme authority of the state,
as well as on its representatives. These political struggles also beget
of popular action and, at times, eventuate in open rebellion and other
disorders which are all the more deplorable and harmful since they come
from a public to whom it has been given, in our modern democratic
states, to participate in very large measure in public life and in the
affairs of the government.
Now, these different forms of government are not of themselves contrary
to the principles of the Catholic
Faith, which can easily be reconciled with any reasonable and just
system of government. Such governments, however, are the most exposed to
the danger of being overthrown by one faction or another. (Pope Pius XI, Ubi Arcano Dei Consilio, December 23, 1922.)
The difference between the two organized crime families of naturalism here in the United States of America is not, therefore, principally over matters of substance as whatever policy disputes emerge over the course of time are simply the result of the very false, naturalistic, anti-Incarnational, religiously indifferentist and semi-Pelagian premises upon which the modern civil state, including that of the modern civil state of the United States of America, was founded and is thus doomed to decay an utter collapse.
Yes, the organized crime families of naturalism have their differences on the margins of policy. The "left," generally speaking, believes in the power of the civil state to "resolve" social problems by means of high rates of confiscatory taxes that are designed to redistribute the wealth in the name of "empowering the poor," thus creating massive bureaucracies to administer various programs whose existence because a cause celebre even when their annual rate of increasing in spending, as opposed to an actual cut in expenditures, is threatened. Many, although not all, in the false opposite of the naturalist "left" desire to surrender the entirety of their nation's legitimate national sovereignty, viewing global governance agencies as the means to provide world "peace" just as much as they desire the legal, educational and governmental structures to serve the interests of whatever cause of social engineering they favor at the moment.
The "right" is, generally speaking, a hodgepodge of various loosely related views.
Some on the "right" consider themselves to be "religious" or "social" conservatives, making generic references to God that empty Him of all dogmatic content, believing that people of "good will" can put aside matters of doctrine in order to pursue the common temporal good. This is of the essence of Judeo-Masonry, summarized as follows by Pope Leo XIII in Humanum Genus, April 20, 1888:
But the naturalists go much further; for, having, in
the highest things, entered upon a wholly erroneous course, they are
carried headlong to extremes, either by reason of the weakness of human
nature, or because God inflicts upon them the just punishment of their
pride. Hence it happens that they no longer consider as certain
and permanent those things which are fully understood by the natural
light of reason, such as certainly are -- the existence of God, the
immaterial nature of the human soul, and its immortality. The sect of
the Freemasons, by a similar course of error, is exposed to these same
dangers; for, although in a general way they may profess the existence
of God, they themselves are witnesses that they do not all maintain this
truth with the full assent of the mind or with a firm conviction.
Neither do they conceal that this question about God is the greatest
source and cause of discords among them; in fact, it is certain that a
considerable contention about this same subject has existed among them
very lately. But, indeed, the sect allows great liberty to its votaries,
so that to each side is given the right to defend its own opinion,
either that there is a God, or that there is none; and those who
obstinately contend that there is no God are as easily initiated as
those who contend that God exists, though, like the pantheists, they
have false notions concerning Him: all which is nothing else than taking
away the reality, while retaining some absurd representation of the
When this greatest fundamental truth has been
overturned or weakened, it follows that those truths, also, which are
known by the teaching of nature must begin to fall -- namely, that all
things were made by the free will of God the Creator; that the world is
governed by Providence; that souls do not die; that to this life of men
upon the earth there will succeed another and an everlasting life.
When these truths are done away with, which are as
the principles of nature and important for knowledge and for practical
use, it is easy to see what will become of both public and private
morality. We say nothing of those more heavenly virtues, which no one
can exercise or even acquire without a special gift and grace of God; of
which necessarily no trace can be found in those who reject as unknown
the redemption of mankind, the grace of God, the sacraments, and the
happiness to be obtained in heaven. We speak now of the duties which
have their origin in natural probity. That God is the Creator of the
world and its provident Ruler; that the eternal law commands the natural
order to be maintained, and forbids that it be disturbed; that the last
end of men is a destiny far above human things and beyond this
sojourning upon the earth: these are the sources and these the
principles of all justice and morality.
If these be taken away, as the naturalists
and Freemasons desire, there will immediately be no knowledge as to what
constitutes justice and injustice, or upon what principle morality is
founded. And, in truth, the teaching of morality which alone finds favor
with the sect of Freemasons, and in which they contend that youth
should be instructed, is that which they call "civil," and
"independent," and "free," namely, that which does not contain any
religious belief. But, how insufficient such teaching is, how
wanting in soundness, and how easily moved by every impulse of passion,
is sufficiently proved by its sad fruits, which have already begun to
appear. For, wherever, by removing Christian education, this teaching
has begun more completely to rule, there goodness and integrity of
morals have begun quickly to perish, monstrous and shameful opinions
have grown up, and the audacity of evil deeds has risen to a high
degree. All this is commonly complained of and deplored; and not a few
of those who by no means wish to do so are compelled by abundant
evidence to give not infrequently the same testimony.
Moreover, human nature was stained by original
sin, and is therefore more disposed to vice than to virtue. For a
virtuous life it is absolutely necessary to restrain the disorderly
movements of the soul, and to make the passions obedient to reason. In
this conflict human things must very often be despised, and the greatest
labors and hardships must be undergone, in order that reason may always
hold its sway. But the naturalists and Freemasons, having no faith in
those things which we have learned by the revelation of God, deny that
our first parents sinned, and consequently think that free will is not
at all weakened and inclined to evil. On the contrary, exaggerating
rather the power and the excellence of nature, and placing therein alone
the principle and rule of justice, they cannot even imagine that there
is any need at all of a constant struggle and a perfect steadfastness to
overcome the violence and rule of our passions.
Wherefore we see that men are publicly
tempted by the many allurements of pleasure; that there are journals and
pamphlets with neither moderation nor shame; that stage-plays are
remarkable for license; that designs for works of art are shamelessly
sought in the laws of a so-called verism; that the contrivances of a
soft and delicate life are most carefully devised; and that all the
blandishments of pleasure are diligently sought out by which virtue may
be lulled to sleep. Wickedly, also, but at the same time quite
consistently, do those act who do away with the expectation of the joys
of heaven, and bring down all happiness to the level of mortality, and,
as it were, sink it in the earth. Of what We have said the following
fact, astonishing not so much in itself as in its open expression, may
serve as a confirmation. For, since generally no one is accustomed to
obey crafty and clever men so submissively as those whose soul is
weakened and broken down by the domination of the passions, there have
been in the sect of the Freemasons some who have plainly determined and
proposed that, artfully and of set purpose, the multitude should be
satiated with a boundless license of vice, as, when this had been done,
it would easily come under their power and authority for any acts of
What refers to domestic life in the teaching of the
naturalists is almost all contained in the following declarations: that
marriage belongs to the genus of commercial contracts, which can
rightly be revoked by the will of those who made them, and that the
civil rulers of the State have power over the matrimonial bond; that in
the education of youth nothing is to be taught in the matter of religion
as of certain and fixed opinion; and each one must be left at liberty
to follow, when he comes of age, whatever he may prefer. To these things
the Freemasons fully assent; and not only assent, but have long
endeavored to make them into a law and institution. For in many
countries, and those nominally Catholic, it is enacted that no marriages
shall be considered lawful except those contracted by the civil rite;
in other places the law permits divorce; and in others every effort is
used to make it lawful as soon as may be. Thus, the time is quickly
coming when marriages will be turned into another kind of contract --
that is into changeable and uncertain unions which fancy may join
together, and which the same when changed may disunite. (Pope Leo XIII, Humanum Genus, April 20, 1884.)
This is a smashing condemnation of the credo of so many "conservatives" who believe that religious doctrine is entirely unimportant to the pursuit of the common temporal good. This is a lie. This is a self-delusional lie. The common temporal good must be pursued in light of man's Last End, the possession of the glory of the Beatific Vision of God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Ghost for all eternity in Heaven, something that our true popes never ceased reminding us whenever the opportunity called upon them to do so:
That the State must be separated from the Church is a thesis
absolutely false, a most pernicious error. Based, as it is, on the
principle that the State must not recognize any religious cult, it is in
the first place guilty of a great injustice to God; for the Creator of
man is also the Founder of human societies, and preserves their
existence as He preserves our own. We owe Him, therefore, not
only a private cult, but a public and social worship to honor Him.
Besides, this thesis is an obvious negation of the supernatural order. It
limits the action of the State to the pursuit of public prosperity
during this life only, which is but the proximate object of political
societies; and it occupies itself in no fashion (on the plea that this
is foreign to it) with their ultimate object which is man's eternal
happiness after this short life shall have run its course. But as the
present order of things is temporary and subordinated to the conquest of
man's supreme and absolute welfare, it follows that the civil power
must not only place no obstacle in the way of this conquest, but must
aid us in effecting it. (Pope Leo XIII, Vehementer Nos, February 11, 1906.)
"Conservatives" do not understand this. Most would scoff at it if they read these words. Most of the Catholics within their ranks would say that "Pope" Benedict XVI doesn't teach this, and they would be right, of course, as he does not. The rub is this, however: Pope Saint Pius X explained in no uncertain terms that the very thesis of separation of Church and State that has been endorsed endlessly was a "thesis absolutely false, a most pernicious error." Something that is absolutely false and erroneous in 1906 does not become true and praiseworthy in 2011. Truth is immutable. It is only capable of multiple understandings at different times in the Hegelian mind of Joseph Ratzinger/Benedict XVI and those who worship at the altar of his philosophically absurd and dogmatically condemned "hermeneutic of continuity and discontinuity." One of the correlative proofs that Joseph Ratzinger is not "Pope" Benedict XVI is that his teaching--and that of his predecessor, Karol Wojtyla/John Paul II--is without precedent in the history of the Catholic Church prior to the dawning of the age of conciliarism:
Remove the agreement between Church and State, and the result will be
that from these common matters will spring the seeds of disputes which
will become acute on both sides; it will become more difficult to see
where the truth lies, and great confusion is certain to arise. Finally,
this thesis inflicts great injury on society itself, for it cannot
either prosper or last long when due place is not left for religion,
which is the supreme rule and the sovereign mistress in all questions
touching the rights and the duties of men. Hence the Roman Pontiffs have
never ceased, as circumstances required, to refute and condemn the
doctrine of the separation of Church and State. (Pope Saint Pius X, Vehementer Nos, February 11, 1906.)
This is all so very clear to those who want to stop projecting Catholicism into the minds of apostates and who recognize that there is no way that the true Faith can be "reconciled" to its counterfeit ape whose leaders are so bold as to directly deny and contradict Holy Mother Church's perennial teaching.
There are also the "fiscal" conservatives and "libertarians" and "states-righters" to be found within the ranks of the false opposite of the naturalist "right." These categories are not fixed in that some fall into one or more of these camps.
There can be no true "fiscal restraint" on the part of governments whose leaders do not fear the just judgment of the true God of Divine Revelation.
Men are not "free" to do and say whatever is they want whenever it is they want.
No institution of civil government--be it found at the national, state or local levels--has any authority of God to attempt to make legitimate that which is opposed to the binding precepts of the Divine Positive Law and the Natural Law and thus opposed to the common temporal good of men and their societies.
Lies. Lies. Lies. As Pope Saint Pius X noted one hundred five and one-half years ago now, "Remove the agreement between Church and State, and the result will be that from these common matters will spring the seeds of disputes which will become acute on both sides; it will become difficult to see where the truth lies, and great confusion is certain to arise."
In other words, my good and few readers and fewer still financial supporters who have left us without a "life raft" this time by refusing to respond to recent appeals that would not have been made unless there existed a real and urgent necessity that gets worse by the day now, there is no need to become so agitated over whatever phony crisis the devil wants to use to disturb us into thinking naturalistically, preferring to believe that there is some naturalistic or nondenominational way to "resolve" our problems.
Some of those who get so agitated go so far as to praise those horrible men who had a founding hatred for Christ the King as having had the "solution" all along as it is the very false premises they used to construct the American constitutional regime that are directly responsible for its current decay and collapse as the country plunges into fiscal abyss to mirror that of the abyss of sin and licentiousness into which it has fallen without most people even being aware that they are in the abyss. The ideas of 1776 and 1787 have led to the chaos and confusion of 2011 (see America's "Debt Clock" Began Ticking On July 4, 1776).
"Remove the agreement between Church and State, and the result will be that from these common matters will spring the seeds of disputes which will become acute on both sides; it will become difficult to see where the truth lies, and great confusion is certain to arise."
Although the differences that exist between the organized crime families of the naturalist "left" and the naturalist "right" are exaggerated to suit their own purposes and as the devil seeks to excite the public, especially Catholics, into abandoning their interior lives of prayer to spend time listening to the "experts" on "talk radio" and donating hundreds of thousands of dollars to various naturalists running for public office in order to "save the republic," it is nevertheless true that partisans of the "left" are, at least for the most part, fierce practitioners of total warfare against their feckless opponents, using all manner of vile invectives and names to demonize them in emotionally-laden appeals designed to blunt, if not stop, all opposition to their "received truths" as to how we should be so happy to submit to their statist designs. The "D" in the Democratic Party stands more often than not for Demagogue.
One of the most demagogic partisans of the "left" is a man who has been enabled by conciliar officials for nearly four decades now, the Vice President of the United States of America, Joseph Robinette Biden, Jr., a man who plagiarized a paper while he was at the Syracuse University College of Law, excusing it as "not malevolent," and who has a long, long history of exaggerating his academic record and demonizing his political opponents:
Senator Joseph R. Biden Jr., fighting to salvage his Presidential
campaign, today acknowledged ''a mistake'' in his youth, when he
plagiarized a law review article for a paper he wrote in his first year
at law school.
Mr. Biden insisted, however, that he had done
nothing ''malevolent,'' that he had simply misunderstood the need to
cite sources carefully. And he asserted that another controversy,
concerning recent reports of his using material from others' speeches
without attribution, was ''much ado about nothing.''
the 44-year-old Delaware Democrat who heads the Senate Judiciary
Committee, addressed these issues at the Capitol in a morning news
conference he had called expressly for that purpose. The news conference
was held just before he presided over the third day of hearings on the
nomination of Judge Robert H. Bork to the Supreme Court.
buttress his assertions of sincerity and openness, Mr. Biden released a
65-page file, obtained by the Senator from the Syracuse University
College of Law, that he said contained all the records of his years
there. It disclosed relatively poor grades in college and law school,
mixed evaluations from teachers and details of the plagiarism. (Biden Admits Plagiarism in School But Says It Was Not 'Malevolent'; see also Joseph Biden's Plagiarism)
This revelation took place in September of 1987 after John Sasso, then the campaign manager for Massachusetts Governor Michael Dukakis's campaign to secure the 1988 presidential nomination of the Democratic Party, had aired an "attack video" that placed side-by-side, split-screen footage of speeches given by Neil Kinnock, the Trotskyite leader of the Labour Party in the United Kingdom, and the then Senator Biden on foreign policy that were identical. Kinnock was then the leader of the Labour Party, which was out of power in the United Kingdom from May 4, 1979, to May 2, 1997, at which point the party, then led by Tony Blair, defeated the Conservative (or Tory) Party in the general elections, ousting Margaret Thatcher's successor, John Major, as prime minister. Biden and Kinnock were soulmates on matters of foreign policy. Why not steal Kinnock's speech? After all, it was "much ado about nothing."
Well, despite Biden's willingness to let his fellow pro-abortion Catholic, Edward Moore Kennedy (D-Massachusetts), to his bidding for him by demonizing United States Judge of the Circuit Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Judge Robert Bork during the latter's confirmation hearings in 1987 to be an Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of the United States of America, he had to fold up his presidential aspirations for 1988 soon after the plagiarism became known, following former United States Senator Gary Hart (D-South Dakota), whose "monkey business" forced him out of the race on May 8, 1987 (he reentered seven months later principally to become eligible for Federal matching funds to pay off his campaign debt). The gaffe-prone Biden thought that he could win that presidential nomination he so coveted if he only waited a little while, having to settle for the vice presidency under Barack Hussein Obama, a first-class demagogue in his own right, after in 2008 campaign fizzled out after receiving four percent of the vote in the Iowa caucuses on January 3, 2008.
The loose-mouthed, foul-mouthed (see When "Boys Will Be Boys" They Grow Up to Be Men Like Joe Biden) has been a walking demagogue in the past three years, seven months since he was sworn in as the nation's forty-seventh vice president. It was only a year ago that Biden accused members of the loosely-organized Taxed Enough Already movement (TEA Party) of being "terrorists" for seeking to achieve significant cuts in Federal spending in exchange for the raising of the national debt ceiling. True to his lying self, Biden denied that he used the word terrorism:
Vice President Joe Biden joined House Democrats in lashing tea party Republicans Monday, accusing them of having “acted
like terrorists” in the fight over raising the nation’s debt limit,
according to several sources in the room.
Biden was agreeing with a line of argument made by Rep. Mike Doyle (D-Pa.) at a two-hour, closed-door Democratic Caucus meeting.
“We have negotiated with terrorists,” an angry Doyle said, according to
sources in the room. “This small group of terrorists have made it
impossible to spend any money.”
Biden, driven by his Democratic allies’ misgivings about the debt-limit deal, responded: “They have acted like terrorists.”
Biden’s office initially declined to comment about what the vice
president said inside the closed-door session, but after POLITICO
published the remarks, spokeswoman Kendra Barkoff said: “The word was
used by several members of Congress. The vice president does not believe
it’s an appropriate term in political discourse.”
Biden later denied he used that term in an interview with CBS.
“I did not use the terrorism word,” Biden told CBS Evening News anchor and managing editor Scott Pelley.
Earlier in the day, Biden told Senate Democrats that Republican leaders
have “guns to their heads” in trying to negotiate deals. (Joe Biden likened tea partiers to terrorists.)
Here is another short memorandum to the Vice President of the United States of America, who met last year with Joseph Ratzinger/Benedict XVI in the Apostolic Palace without a word of public rebuke from the conciliar "pontiff," you understand (see Just A Personal Visit): You support the daily terror waged against innocent preborn children by means of chemical abortifacients and surgical abortions? You support sins that cry out to Heaven for vengeance? A fierce judgment awaits your immortal soul upon your death unless you repent and return to the true Faith. Pope Pius XI has warned you and each of your pro-abortion pals, including your boss, Obama, and everyone else, Catholics and non-Catholics alike, although the warning below carries a particular weight for Catholics as they ought to know better:
"Those who hold the reins of government should not forget that it is the duty of public authority by appropriate laws and sanctions to defend the lives of the innocent, and this all the more so since those whose lives are endangered and assailed cannot defend themselves. Among whom we must mention in the first place infants hidden in the mother's womb. And if the public magistrates not only do not defend them, but by their laws and ordinances betray them to death at the hands of doctors or of others, let them remember that God is the Judge and Avenger of innocent blood which cried from earth to Heaven." (Pope Pius XI, Casti Connubii, December 31, 1930; for a review of Joseph Robinette Biden, Jr.'s long support for the chemical and surgical assassination of innocent preborn children, see Lest We Forget.)
Joseph Robinette Biden, Jr., continues to remain as a "Catholic" in "good standing" in the counterfeit church of concilairism despite his adamant, demagogic support for the chemical and surgical assassination of innocent children. Indeed, Biden invoked the "specter" of former United States Circuit Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Robert H. Bork at the annual convention of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (N.A.A.C.P.) last month to warn of what the United States Department of Justice would "look like" in an administration of "President" Willard Mitt Romney, the former Governor of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts:
“Let me close, my friends, by saying I want you – I mean this
sincerely. Just close your eyes and imagine. Imagine what the Romney
Justice Department will look like.
“Imagine when his senior adviser on constitutional issues is Robert
Bork. Imagine the recommendations for who is likely to be picked as
Attorney General or the head of the civil rights division or those other
incredibly important positions in justice.
“Imagine – and I mean this. This to me is one of the most critical
issues of this election. Imagine what the Supreme Court will look like
after 4 years of a Romney presidency.
“Folks, this election in my view is a fight for the heart and soul of America. (Transcript of Pro-Abort, Pro-Perversity Joseph Robinette Biden, Jr's, address to the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People Convention.)
Joseph Robinette Biden, Jr., the vulgar, crude, potty-mouth demagogue who turns seventy years of age on November 20, 2012, spoke to a crowd composed of many black Americans two days ago the Institute for Advanced Research in Danville, Virginia, in which he said the putative Republican Party nominees for President and Vice President, Willard Mitt Romney and Paul Davis Ryan, were going to put black Americans back in "chains," perhaps suggesting that the Thirteenth Amendment to the Constitution of the United States of America is in jeopardy of being repealed if the naturalists of the "right" get elected on Tuesday, November 6, 2012. Here are the pertinent quotes as provided in a commentary by Chicago Tribune columnist John Kass:
Biden took a race card from the deck of Team Obama 2012, and stuck that
race card to the tip of his shoe, and then slammed the whole darn thing
into his mouth so hard that it must have scraped off half of the vice
presidential taste buds.
"Look at what they value and look at their budget and what they're
proposing," Biden said of the Republicans at a campaign stop in
Danville, Va. "Romney wants to let the — he said in the first 100 days
he's going to let the big banks once again write their own rules."
Then it happened. Biden began waving his right hand, palm up, and he
adopted what he must have thought was the accent of a black minister.
"Unchain Wall Street," said Preacher Joe, reaching to the heavens, "They're going to put y'all back in chains."
Is that how people in Delaware talk? Or is it how white Democratic
politicians speak when they're using dialect to talk down to black
voters? What's next, Preacher Joe? Spirituals? Or are you going to carry
around copies of "A Raisin in the Sun" and "To Kill a Mockingbird"?
Team Obama tried to defend Biden, but it was nonsensical babbling. And the Republicans were eager to pounce. (Biden, Obama & the Slavery/Race Card, Ya'll. For a video clip of Biden's latest exercise in demagoguery, see Biden: Romney Wants Americans Back In Chains.)
Yes, a man who believes that innocent children can be sliced and diced and/or burned alive in their mothers' wombs at any time at all without restriction and who deems those who support the binding precepts of the Fifth Commandment to be "anti-women" and "filled with hate" wants Americans to believe that the naturalists of the false opposite of the "right" want to put "y'all back in chains." Never mind the fact that the growth and expansion of the size and the scope of the Federal government over individual Americans has enslaved us all. It's the Romney-Ryan ticket that is going to bring back slavery.
Yet it is that Joseph Robinette Biden, Jr., is the same man who made the following comment on January 31, 2007, the very day that he announced his campaign to make a second run at the Democratic Party presidential nomination:
I mean, you got the first mainstream African-American [Obama/Soetero] who is articulate
and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy. I mean, that's a storybook,
man. (A Biden Problem: Foot in Mouth.)
Tellingly, Caesar Obamus defended his attack dog and hatchet man:
"We don't spend a lot of time worrying about the chatter and the noise
and this and that," he said. "The country isn't as divided with gaffes
or some stray remark as Washington is. Most folks know that's just sort
of a WWF wrestling part of politics. It doesn't mean anything, just
fills up a lot of air time."
He also said in an interview with People magazine that Biden's
remarks meant consumers would be worse off if Republicans succeeded in
doing away with new restraints on financial institutions.
"In no sense was he trying to connote something other than that," Obama said. (Obama Backs Biden Amid 'Chains' Remark Uproar.)
Sure, Barry. Sure. This is, I suppose, sort of what we did four years ago when you made the following elitist comment that can be made only by one who is what Pope Leo XIII called a practical atheist:
You go into some of these small towns in Pennsylvania, and like a lot of
small towns in the Midwest, the jobs have been gone now for 25 years
and nothing's replaced them. And they fell through the Clinton
administration, and the Bush administration, and each successive
administration has said that somehow these communities are gonna
regenerate and they have not. So it's not surprising then that they get
bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren't
like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way
to explain their frustrations. (Scroll down to find the full transcript of that April 11, 2008, fundraising speech in San Francisco, California.)
Sure, Barry, sure. We misunderstood you for years ago just as we have misunderstood little Joey Biden now. Sure.
Yet is that the so-called "mainstream" media, at least for the most part, gives the racially charged and class warfare driven demagoguery of the reigning caesar and his personal hatchet man from Delaware a free pass to speak whatever incendiary words they desire and to make factual errors galore. There is no such thing as a "free press" in the supposedly "free" United States of America.
Dr. Aleksandr I. Solzhenitsyn explained the phenomenon of the leftward tilt of the American press in his commencement address at Harvard University, June 8, 1978:
The press too, of course, enjoys the widest freedom. (I shall be using
the word press to include all media). But what sort of use does it
make of this freedom?
Here again, the main concern is not to infringe the letter of the
law. There is no moral responsibility for deformation or
disproportion. What sort of responsibility does a journalist have to
his readers, or to history? If they have misled public opinion or the
government by inaccurate information or wrong conclusions, do we know
of any cases of public recognition and rectification of such mistakes
by the same journalist or the same newspaper? No, it does not happen,
because it would damage sales. A nation may be the victim of such a
mistake, but the journalist always gets away with it. One may safely
assume that he will start writing the opposite with renewed
Because instant and credible information has to be given, it becomes
necessary to resort to guesswork, rumors and suppositions to fill in
the voids, and none of them will ever be rectified, they will stay on
in the readers' memory. How many hasty, immature, superficial and
misleading judgments are expressed every day, confusing readers,
without any verification. The press can both simulate public opinion
and miseducate it. Thus we may see terrorists heroized, or secret
matters, pertaining to one's nation's defense, publicly revealed, or
we may witness shameless intrusion on the privacy of well-known people
under the slogan: "everyone is entitled to know everything." But this
is a false slogan, characteristic of a false era: people also have the
right not to know, and it is a much more valuable one. The right not
to have their divine souls stuffed with gossip, nonsense, vain talk. A
person who works and leads a meaningful life does not need this
excessive burdening flow of information.
Hastiness and superficiality are the psychic disease of the 20th
century and more than anywhere else this disease is reflected in the
press. In-depth analysis of a problem is anathema to the press. It
stops at sensational formulas.
Such as it is, however, the press has become the greatest power within
the Western countries, more powerful than the legislature, the
executive and the judiciary. One would then like to ask: by what law
has it been elected and to whom is it responsible? In the communist
East a journalist is frankly appointed as a state official. But who
has granted Western journalists their power, for how long a time and
with what prerogatives?
There is yet another surprise for someone coming from the East where
the press is rigorously unified: one gradually discovers a common
trend of preferences within the Western press as a whole. It is a
fashion; there are generally accepted patterns of judgment and there
may be common corporate interests, the sum effect being not
competition but unification. Enormous freedom exists for the press,
but not for the readership because newspapers mostly give enough
stress and emphasis to those opinions which do not too openly
contradict their own and the general trend. (Aleksandr I. Solzhenitsyn, A World Split Apart.)
Yes, at every turn the false opposite of the "right" is demonized by the "mainstream media" while their "chosen ones" of the false opposite of the naturalist "left" are indemnified and defended, sometimes in even more vitriolic terms than that used by the office-holders whose water they carry consistently.
Lost upon those in the warring organized crime families of naturalism of the false opposite "left" and the "right" and, of course, those in the "mainstream media" who defend them is the simple truth that no country will become materially prosperous or know long term peace with other nations or security from what are called today terrorists as long as men pursue things that are repugnant to the peace and happiness of eternity (blasphemy, immodesty, indecency, pornography, divorce, contraception, abortion, perversity, "rock" music, hideous television programs, books, magazines, theatrical productions, the proliferation of false religions) under cover of the civil law and in the name of the "rights of man:"
The more closely the temporal power of a nation aligns itself with the spiritual, and the more it fosters and promotes the latter, by so much the more it contributes to the conservation of the commonwealth. For it is the aim of the ecclesiastical authority by the use of spiritual means, to form good Christians in accordance with its own particular end and object; and in doing this it helps at the same time to form good citizens, and prepares them to meet their obligations as members of a civil society. This follows of necessity because in the City of God, the Holy Roman Catholic Church, a good citizen and an upright man are absolutely one and the same thing. How grave therefore is the error of those who separate things so closely united, and who think that they can produce good citizens by ways and methods other than those which make for the formation of good Christians. For, let human prudence say what it likes and reason as it pleases, it is impossible to produce true temporal peace and tranquillity by things repugnant or opposed to the peace and happiness of eternity. (Silvio Cardinal Antoniano, quoted by Pope Pius XI in Divini Illius Magistri, December 31, 1929.)
As readers of this site know, it is impossible to pursue temporal justice while protecting heinous sins under cover of the civil law, crimes that are also promoted in every aspect of popular culture.
Sin is what caused Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ to suffer once in time in His Sacred Humanity during His Passion and Death. Sin is what caused His Most Blessed Mother's Immaculate Heart to be pierced through and through with Seven Swords of Sorrow. Sin is what wounds His Mystical Body, the Church Militant, here on earth in this passing, mortal value of tears. No one who is an agent in the promotion of grievous sin, no less sins that cry out to Heaven for vengeance, is a fit holder of the public weal. While such a person is an object of our prayers and while his actions must prompt us to make much reparation to the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus through the Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary, he is not deserving of anyone's "support" or "approval."
Joseph Robinette Biden, Jr. is a man who is without an ounce of self-reflection about his past actions and his current public utterances. He fears not the just judgment of God for the demagoguery he has employed to support the evils of the day, including chemical and surgical baby-killing, as and as he attacks the feckless folks who believe that they can succeed where the mystical Sisyphus failed in pushing boulders up a naturalist mountain before getting crushed by the weight of their own delusional naturals tic assumptions. Biden is the result of the Americanist ethos, something that I have explained many times in my teaching, writing and speaking.
As I have noted on this site very consistently, unlike so many in the world and even so many who are in "good standing" in the counterfeit church of conciliarism, we can never accept evil with urbanity and indifference. Indeed, speaking as a sinner who has so very much for which to make reparation, we must be conscious at all times of our need to pray and to fast and to make many, many sacrifices to more perfectly conformed to the mercies of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus through the Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary. We must always remember that our sins have contributed mightily to the worsening of the state of the Church Militant on earth and the state of the world, which is why we need to pray many Rosaries of reparation for our own sins as well as those of the whole world.
Yes, we must, imitating our champion, Saint Dominic de Guzman, the founder of the Order of Preachers, remember to keep Our Lady's Weapon, the Holy Rosary, Held High. Our Lady's Most Holy Rosary is the most powerful weapon after Holy Mass itself to fight the evils of the day. We must use it well as we eschew the lies of naturalism, the provocations of demagogues and the delusional hopes of those who believe that there is something short of Catholicism and the Social Reign of Christ the King by which men can know social order.
The final victory belongs to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. May it be our privilege to plant a few seeds for this great triumph and the ushering in of the Reign of Mary and the restoration of the Social Reign of Christ the King.
Vivat Christus Rex! Viva Cristo Rey!
Isn't it time to pray a Rosary now?
Immaculate Heart of Mary, triumph soon!

From Pope Leo XIII's Tametsi Futura Prospicientibus, November 1, 1900\
We are indeed now very far removed in time from the first beginnings of Redemption; but what difference does this make when the benefits thereof are perennial and immortal? He who once hath restored human nature ruined by sin the same preserveth and will preserve it for ever. "He gave Himself a redemption for all" (1 Timothy ii., 6)."In Christ all shall be made alive" (1 Corinthians xv., 22). "And of His Kingdom there shall be no end" (Luke i., 33). Hence by God's eternal decree the salvation of all men, both severally and collectively, depends upon Jesus Christ. Those who abandon Him become guilty by the very fact, in their blindness and folly, of their own ruin; whilst at the same time they do all that in them lies to bring about a violent reaction of mankind in the direction of that mass of evils and miseries from which the Redeemer in His mercy had freed them.
Those who go astray from the road wander far from the goal they aim at. Similarly, if the pure and true light of truth be rejected, men's minds must necessarily be darkened and their souls deceived by deplorably false ideas. What hope of salvation can they have who abandon the very principle and fountain of life? Christ alone is the Way, the Truth and the Life (John xiv., 6). If He be abandoned the three necessary conditions of salvation are removed.
It is surely unnecessary to prove, what experience constantly shows and what each individual feels in himself, even in the very midst of all temporal prosperity-that in God alone can the human will find absolute and perfect peace. God is the only end of man. All our life on earth is the truthful and exact image of a pilgrimage. Now Christ is the "Way," for we can never reach God, the supreme and ultimate good, by this toilsome and doubtful road of mortal life, except with Christ as our leader and guide. How so? Firstly and chiefly by His grace; but this would remain "void" in man if the precepts of His law were neglected. For, as was necessarily the case after Jesus Christ had won our salvation, He left behind Him His Law for the protection and welfare of the human race, under the guidance of which men, converted from evil life, might safely tend towards God. "Going, teach ye all nations . . . teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you" (Matthew xxviii., 19-20). "Keep my commandments" john xiv., 15). Hence it will be understood that in the Christian religion the first and most necessary condition is docility to the precepts of Jesus Christ, absolute loyalty of will towards Him as Lord and King. A serious duty, and one which oftentimes calls for strenuous labour, earnest endeavour, and perseverance! For although by Our Redeemer's grace human nature hath been regenerated, still there remains in each individual a certain debility and tendency to evil. Various natural appetites attract man on one side and the other; the allurements of the material world impel his soul to follow after what is pleasant rather than the law of Christ. Still we must strive our best and resist our natural inclinations with all our strength "unto the obedience of Christ." For unless they obey reason they become our masters, and carrying the whole man away from Christ, make him their slave. "Men of corrupt mind, who have made shipwreck of the faith, cannot help being slaves. . . They are slaves to a threefold concupiscence: of will, of pride, or of outward show" (St. Augustine, De Vera Religione, 37). In this contest every man must be prepared to undergo hard ships and troubles for Christ's sake. It is difficult to reject what so powerfully entices and delights. It is hard and painful to despise the supposed goods of the senses and of fortune for the will and precepts of Christ our Lord. But the Christian is absolutely obliged to be firm, and patient in suffering, if he wish to lead a Christian life. Have we forgotten of what Body and of what Head we are the members? "Having joy set before Him, He endured the Cross," and He bade us deny ourselves. The very dignity of human nature depends upon this disposition of mind. For, as even the ancient Pagan philosophy perceived, to be master of oneself and to make the lower part of the soul, obey the superior part, is so far from being a weakness of will that it is really a noble power, in consonance with right reason and most worthy of a man. Moreover, to bear and to suffer is the ordinary condition of man. Man can no more create for himself a life free from suffering and filled with all happiness that he can abrogate the decrees of his Divine Maker, who has willed that the consequences of original sin should be perpetual. It is reasonable, therefore, not to expect an end to troubles in this world, but rather to steel one's soul to bear troubles, by which we are taught to look forward with certainty to supreme happiness. Christ has not promised eternal bliss in heaven to riches, nor to a life of ease, to honours or to power, but to longsuffering and to tears, to the love of justice and to cleanness of heart.
From this it may clearly be seen what consequences are to be expected from that false pride which, rejecting our Saviour's Kingship, places man at the summit of all things and declares that human nature must rule supreme. And yet, this supreme rule can neither be attained nor even defined. The rule of Jesus Christ derives its form and its power from Divine Love: a holy and orderly charity is both its foundation and its crown. Its necessary consequences are the strict fulfilment of duty, respect of mutual rights, the estimation of the things of heaven above those of earth, the preference of the love of God to all things. But this supremacy of man, which openly rejects Christ, or at least ignores Him, is entirely founded upon selfishness, knowing neither charity nor selfdevotion. Man may indeed be king, through Jesus Christ: but only on condition that he first of all obey God, and diligently seek his rule of life in God's law. By the law of Christ we mean not only the natural precepts of morality and the Ancient Law, all of which Jesus Christ has perfected and crowned by His declaration, explanation and sanction; but also the rest of His doctrine and His own peculiar institutions. Of these the chief is His Church. Indeed whatsoever things Christ has instituted are most fully contained in His Church. Moreover, He willed to perpetuate the office assigned to Him by His Father by means of the ministry of the Church so gloriously founded by Himself. On the one hand He confided to her all the means of men's salvation, on the other He most solemnly commanded men to be subject to her and to obey her diligently, and to follow her even as Himself: "He that heareth you, heareth Me; and he that despiseth you, despiseth Me" (Luke x, 16). Wherefore the law of Christ must be sought in the Church. Christ is man's "Way"; the Church also is his "Way"-Christ of Himself and by His very nature, the Church by His commission and the communication of His power. Hence all who would find salvation apart from the Church, are led astray and strive in vain.
As with individuals, so with nations. These, too, must necessarily tend to ruin if they go astray from "The Way." The Son of God, the Creator and Redeemer of mankind, is King and Lord of the earth, and holds supreme dominion over men, both individually and collectively. "And He gave Him power, and glory, and a kingdom: and all peoples, tribes, and tongues shall serve Him" (Daniel vii., 14). "I am appointed King by Him . . . I will give Thee the Gentiles for Thy inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for Thy possession" (Psalm ii., 6, 8). Therefore the law of Christ ought to prevail in human society and be the guide and teacher of public as well as of private life. Since this is so by divine decree, and no man may with impunity contravene it, it is an evil thing for the common weal wherever Christianity does not hold the place that belongs to it. When Jesus Christ is absent, human reason fails, being bereft of its chief protection and light, and the very end is lost sight of, for which, under God's providence, human society has been built up. This end is the obtaining by the members of society of natural good through the aid of civil unity, though always in harmony with the perfect and eternal good which is above nature. But when men's minds are clouded, both rulers and ruled go astray, for they have no safe line to follow nor end to aim at. . . .
This generative and conservative power of the virtues that make for salvation is therefore lost, whenever morality is dissociated from divine faith. A system of morality based exclusively on human reason robs man of his highest dignity and lowers him from the supernatural to the merely natural life. Not but that man is able by the right use of reason to know and to obey certain principles of the natural law. But though he should know them all and keep them inviolate through life-and even this is impossible without the aid of the grace of our Redeemer-still it is vain for anyone without faith to promise himself eternal salvation. "If anyone abide not in Me, he shall be cast forth as a branch, and shall wither, and they shall gather him up and cast him into the fire, and he burneth" john xv., 6). "He that believeth not shall be condemned" (Mark xvi., 16). We have but too much evidence of the value and result of a morality divorced from divine faith. How is it that, in spite of all the zeal for the welfare of the masses, nations are in such straits and even distress, and that the evil is daily on the increase? We are told that society is quite able to help itself; that it can flourish without the assistance of Christianity, and attain its end by its own unaided efforts. Public administrators prefer a purely secular system of government. All traces of the religion of our forefathers are daily disappearing from political life and administration. What blindness! Once the idea of the authority of God as the Judge of right and wrong is forgotten, law must necessarily lose its primary authority and justice must perish: and these are the two most powerful and most necessary bonds of society. Similarly, once the hope and expectation of eternal happiness is taken away, temporal goods will be greedily sought after. Every man will strive to secure the largest share for himself. Hence arise envy, jealousy, hatred. The consequences are conspiracy, anarchy, nihilism. There is neither peace abroad nor security at home. Public life is stained with crime.
From Pope Saint Pius X's Notre Charge Apostolique, August 15, 1910
Here we have, founded by Catholics, an inter-denominational association that is to work for the reform of civilization, an undertaking which is above all religious in character; for there is no true civilization without a moral civilization, and no true moral civilization without the true religion: it is a proven truth, a historical fact.
From Pope Pius XI's Ubi Arcano Dei Consilio, December 23, 1922
There exists an institution able to safeguard the sanctity of the law of nations. This institution is a part of every nation; at the same time it is above all nations. She enjoys, too, the highest authority, the fullness of the teaching power of the Apostles. Such an institution is the Church of Christ. She alone is adapted to do this great work, for she is not only divinely commissioned to lead mankind, but moreover, because of her very make-up and the constitution which she possesses, by reason of her age-old traditions and her great prestige, which has not been lessened but has been greatly increased since the close of the War, cannot but succeed in such a venture where others assuredly will fail.
It is apparent from these considerations that true peace, the peace of Christ, is impossible unless we are willing and ready to accept the fundamental principles of Christianity, unless we are willing to observe the teachings and obey the law of Christ, both in public and private life. If this were done, then society being placed at last on a sound foundation, the Church would be able, in the exercise of its divinely given ministry and by means of the teaching authority which results therefrom, to protect all the rights of God over men and nations.
It is possible to sum up all We have said in one word, "the Kingdom of Christ." For Jesus Christ reigns over the minds of individuals by His teachings, in their hearts by His love, in each one's life by the living according to His law and the imitating of His example. Jesus reigns over the family when it, modeled after the holy ideals of the sacrament of matrimony instituted by Christ, maintains unspotted its true character of sanctuary. In such a sanctuary of love, parental authority is fashioned after the authority of God, the Father, from Whom, as a matter of fact, it originates and after which even it is named. (Ephesians iii, 15) The obedience of the children imitates that of the Divine Child of Nazareth, and the whole family life is inspired by the sacred ideals of the Holy Family. Finally, Jesus Christ reigns over society when men recognize and reverence the sovereignty of Christ, when they accept the divine origin and control over all social forces, a recognition which is the basis of the right to command for those in authority and of the duty to obey for those who are subjects, a duty which cannot but ennoble all who live up to its demands. Christ reigns where the position in society which He Himself has assigned to His Church is recognized, for He bestowed on the Church the status and the constitution of a society which, by reason of the perfect ends which it is called upon to attain, must be held to be supreme in its own sphere; He also made her the depository and interpreter of His divine teachings, and, by consequence, the teacher and guide of every other society whatsoever, not of course in the sense that she should abstract in the least from their authority, each in its own sphere supreme, but that she should really perfect their authority, just as divine grace perfects human nature, and should give to them the assistance necessary for men to attain their true final end, eternal happiness, and by that very fact make them the more deserving and certain promoters of their happiness here below.
It is, therefore, a fact which cannot be questioned that the true peace of Christ can only exist in the Kingdom of Christ -- "the peace of Christ in the Kingdom of Christ." It is no less unquestionable that, in doing all we can to bring about the re-establishment of Christ's kingdom, we will be working most effectively toward a lasting world peace.
From Pope Pius XI's Quas Primas, December 11, 1925
Thus the empire of our Redeemer embraces all men. To use the words of Our immortal predecessor, Pope Leo XIII: "His empire includes not only Catholic nations, not only baptized persons who, though of right belonging to the Church, have been led astray by error, or have been cut off from her by schism, but also all those who are outside the Christian faith; so that truly the whole of mankind is subject to the power of Jesus Christ." Nor is there any difference in this matter between the individual and the family or the State; for all men, whether collectively or individually, are under the dominion of Christ. In him is the salvation of the individual, in him is the salvation of society. "Neither is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given to men whereby we must be saved." He is the author of happiness and true prosperity for every man and for every nation. "For a nation is happy when its citizens are happy. What else is a nation but a number of men living in concord?" If, therefore, the rulers of nations wish to preserve their authority, to promote and increase the prosperity of their countries, they will not neglect the public duty of reverence and obedience to the rule of Christ. What We said at the beginning of Our Pontificate concerning the decline of public authority, and the lack of respect for the same, is equally true at the present day. "With God and Jesus Christ," we said, "excluded from political life, with authority derived not from God but from man, the very basis of that authority has been taken away, because the chief reason of the distinction between ruler and subject has been eliminated. The result is that human society is tottering to its fall, because it has no longer a secure and solid foundation."
From Pope Pius IX's Quanta Cura, December 8, 1864
But, although we have not omitted often to proscribe and reprobate the chief errors of this kind, yet the cause of the Catholic Church, and the salvation of souls entrusted to us by God, and the welfare of human society itself, altogether demand that we again stir up your pastoral solicitude to exterminate other evil opinions, which spring forth from the said errors as from a fountain. Which false and perverse opinions are on that ground the more to be detested, because they chiefly tend to this, that that salutary influence be impeded and (even) removed, which the Catholic Church, according to the institution and command of her Divine Author, should freely exercise even to the end of the world -- not only over private individuals, but over nations, peoples, and their sovereign princes; and (tend also) to take away that mutual fellowship and concord of counsels between Church and State which has ever proved itself propitious and salutary, both for religious and civil interests.
For you well know, venerable brethren, that at this time men are found not a few who, applying to civil society the impious and absurd principle of "naturalism," as they call it, dare to teach that "the best constitution of public society and (also) civil progress altogether require that human society be conducted and governed without regard being had to religion any more than if it did not exist; or, at least, without any distinction being made between the true religion and false ones." And, against the doctrine of Scripture, of the Church, and of the Holy Fathers, they do not hesitate to assert that "that is the best condition of civil society, in which no duty is recognized, as attached to the civil power, of restraining by enacted penalties, offenders against the Catholic religion, except so far as public peace may require." From which totally false idea of social government they do not fear to foster that erroneous opinion, most fatal in its effects on the Catholic Church and the salvation of souls, called by Our Predecessor, Gregory XVI, an "insanity," viz., that "liberty of conscience and worship is each man's personal right, which ought to be legally proclaimed and asserted in every rightly constituted society; and that a right resides in the citizens to an absolute liberty, which should be restrained by no authority whether ecclesiastical or civil, whereby they may be able openly and publicly to manifest and declare any of their ideas whatever, either by word of mouth, by the press, or in any other way." But, while they rashly affirm this, they do not think and consider that they are preaching "liberty of perdition;" and that "if human arguments are always allowed free room for discussion, there will never be wanting men who will dare to resist truth, and to trust in the flowing speech of human wisdom; whereas we know, from the very teaching of our Lord Jesus Christ, how carefully Christian faith and wisdom should avoid this most injurious babbling."
And, since where religion has been removed from civil society, and the doctrine and authority of divine revelation repudiated, the genuine notion itself of justice and human right is darkened and lost, and the place of true justice and legitimate right is supplied by material force, thence it appears why it is that some, utterly neglecting and disregarding the surest principles of sound reason, dare to proclaim that "the people's will, manifested by what is called public opinion or in some other way, constitutes a supreme law, free from all divine and human control; and that in the political order accomplished facts, from the very circumstance that they are accomplished, have the force of right." But who, does not see and clearly perceive that human society, when set loose from the bonds of religion and true justice, can have, in truth, no other end than the purpose of obtaining and amassing wealth, and that (society under such circumstances) follows no other law in its actions, except the unchastened desire of ministering to its own pleasure and interests?
