John Carroll's Caesar

by Thomas A. Droleskey

Barack Hussein Obama can be referred to as "John Carroll's Caesar." Why is this so?

Well, many readers, busy with their own lives and pressed in on very side with a cascade of never-ending "news," forget the details of what they read on which website. As the dispute between the reigning caesar, Barack Hussein Obama, and the "bishops" of the counterfeit church of conciliarism in the United States of America over his administration's mandate that even institutions run by religious organizations who object to contraception and sterilization provide health insurance coverage to their employees is the direct result of the "religious liberty' that Archbishop John Carroll, the first Bishop and Archbishop of Baltimore, Maryland, believed was a "protection" of the "rights" of Catholics to worship as the pleased while taking their place in civic, social and business affairs with their fellow citizens in the grand experiment of a religiously and philosophically pluralistic nation. This alleged "protection" was, of course, nothing other than a trap set by the devil to raise up seemingly "nice," "tolerant" Protestants and Masons while convincing Catholics to be quiet about their Faith in public life and that there was some "neutral" basis upon which to conduct oneself in society.

Scores upon scores of talking heads and those with access to a computer keyboard and the internet (our own access is rather threatened at this time as a result of a lack of funds to pay the phone bill, something that some readers may believe is a wonderful thing) have pontificated on how Barack Hussein Obama has a hatred for religion in general and for Catholicism in particular. Indeed, an article on this very disparaged site made the exact point (see Antichrist's Anti-Religious Religious Zeal). This is all true as far as it goes.

However, the truth of the matter is that the belief that Catholicism is in se a threat to personal liberty is not new here in the United States of America. Indeed, many of the very men who are lionized as veritable "saints," the founders of this nation, believed that the Catholic Church was the enemy of personal liberty, expressing the belief that it would, over the course of time, fade into oblivion as its adherents became accustomed to the ways of "free thinking" in a "free" country and thus abandoned the "superstitions" into which they had been so unwittingly immersed (see A Founding Hatred for Christ the King.) One of the fundamental goals of state-mandated curricula for the concentration camps in the early Nineteenth Century was to rid the children of Catholic immigrants from Ireland of their attachment to "foreign" potentates such as the Vicar of Christ in order to be fully Americanized. Eager to prove their American bona fides, many American bishops in the Nineteenth Century took it upon themselves to Americanize Catholic immigrants.

It is no wonder, you see, that so many Catholics to who are attached to the structures of the counterfeit church of conciliarism have supported Caesar Barackus Obamus Ignoramus in his dispute with the American conciliar "bishops." With this in mind, therefore, let me reprise a few passages from an article published on this site on December 29, 2011:

Archbishop John Carroll did assure the future of the Catholic Church in the United States of America by his embrace of "religious freedom." Carroll's embrace of "religious freedom" in the belief that the civil rights of individual Catholics and the institutional rights of Holy Mother Church was erroneous as "religious freedom" for one is "religious freedom" for all. Lacking an ultimate arbiter ordained by God to resolve disputes between Church and State that were bound to emerge over the course of time as such disputes occurred frequently even during the period of Christendom itself (see today's republished article, A Martyr for the Church's Les, which serves as a perfect companion to this brief articles). Carroll, presaging the giddy optimism of Angelo Roncalli/John XXIII concerning the need for an "opening to the world" (Roncalli/John XXIII's much vaunted "updating" or, in Italian, aggiornamento), could not foresee areas of conflict between Church and State in the framework of the "genius" of Constitution of the United States of America. Archbishop Carroll truly believed that the Catholic Church, though she might have suffer persecution from individual Protestants and unbelievers and in states where the roots of "religious liberty" had not yet taken root, would be respected by officials of the Federal government to carry out her apostolic duties without interference.

Quite instead, of course, religious liberty and separation of Church and State, both of which Carroll thought were guarantees of the life of the Church in the United States of America, opened the doors wide to the persecution that the current administration of Caesar Barackus Obamus Ignoramus is waging against what he thinks are the true officials and institutions and agencies of the Catholic Church. Carroll's naive trust and full-throated endorsement of these twin errors came despite the fact that it was within his own lifetime that the first two of the papal condemnations of them were pronounced. Those pronouncements did not matter to him. The United States of America was "different." It was "special." It was "exceptional." The "good" and "tolerant" Protestants and Freemasons and others who just wanted to "live together" as Americans would never seek to the double-edged sword of "religious liberty" and "separation of Church and State" against the Catholic Church, right? Wrong:

"Man should use his reason first of all to recognize his Sovereign Maker, honoring Him and admiring Him, and submitting his entire person to Him. For, from his childhood, he should be submissive to those who are superior to him in age; he should be governed and instructed by their lessons, order his life according to their laws of reason, society and religion. This inflated equality and liberty, therefore, are for him, from the moment he is born, no more than imaginary dreams and senseless words." (Pope Pius VI, Brief Quod aliquantum, March 10, 1791; Religious Liberty, a “Monstrous Right").

The Catholic Church: For how can We tolerate with equanimity that the Catholic religion, which France received in the first ages of the Church, which was confirmed in that very kingdom by the blood of so many most valiant martyrs, which by far the greatest part of the French race professes, and indeed bravely and constantly defended even among the most grave adversities and persecutions and dangers of recent years, and which, finally, that very dynasty to which the designated king belongs both professes and has defended with much zeal - that this Catholic, this most holy religion, We say, should not only not be declared to be the only one in the whole of France supported by the bulwark of the laws and by the authority of the Government, but should even, in the very restoration of the monarchy, be entirely passed over? But a much more grave, and indeed very bitter, sorrow increased in Our heart - a sorrow by which We confess that We were crushed, overwhelmed and torn in two - from the twenty-second article of the constitution in which We saw, not only that "liberty of religion and of conscience" (to use the same words found in the article) were permitted by the force of the constitution, but also that assistance and patronage were promised both to this liberty and also to the ministers of these different forms of "religion". There is certainly no need of many words, in addressing you, to make you fully recognize by how lethal a wound the Catholic religion in France is struck by this article. For when the liberty of all "religions" is indiscriminately asserted, by this very fact truth is confounded with error and the holy and immaculate Spouse of Christ, the Church, outside of which there can be no salvation, is set on a par with the sects of heretics and with Judaic perfidy itself. For when favour and patronage is promised even to the sects of heretics and their ministers, not only their persons, but also their very errors, are tolerated and fostered: a system of errors in which is contained that fatal and never sufficiently to be deplored HERESY which, as St. Augustine says (de Haeresibus, no.72), "asserts that all heretics proceed correctly and tell the truth: which is so absurd that it seems incredible to me." (Pope Pius VII, Post Tam Diuturnas, April 29, 1814, POST TAM DIUTURNAS)

"This shameful font of indifferentism gives rise to that absurd and erroneous proposition which claims that liberty of conscience must be maintained for everyone. It spreads ruin in sacred and civil affairs, though some repeat over and over again with the greatest impudence that some advantage accrues to religion from it. "But the death of the soul is worse than freedom of error," as Augustine was wont to say. When all restraints are removed by which men are kept on the narrow path of truth, their nature, which is already inclined to evil, propels them to ruin. Then truly "the bottomless pit" is open from which John saw smoke ascending which obscured the sun, and out of which locusts flew forth to devastate the earth. Thence comes transformation of minds, corruption of youths, contempt of sacred things and holy laws -- in other words, a pestilence more deadly to the state than any other. Experience shows, even from earliest times, that cities renowned for wealth, dominion, and glory perished as a result of this single evil, namely immoderate freedom of opinion, license of free speech, and desire for novelty.

Here We must include that harmful and never sufficiently denounced freedom to publish any writings whatever and disseminate them to the people, which some dare to demand and promote with so great a clamor. We are horrified to see what monstrous doctrines and prodigious errors are disseminated far and wide in countless books, pamphlets, and other writings which, though small in weight, are very great in malice. We are in tears at the abuse which proceeds from them over the face of the earth. Some are so carried away that they contentiously assert that the flock of errors arising from them is sufficiently compensated by the publication of some book which defends religion and truth. Every law condemns deliberately doing evil simply because there is some hope that good may result. Is there any sane man who would say poison ought to be distributed, sold publicly, stored, and even drunk because some antidote is available and those who use it may be snatched from death again and again? (Pope Gregory XVI, Mirari Vos, August 15, 1832.)

For you well know, venerable brethren, that at this time men are found not a few who, applying to civil society the impious and absurd principle of "naturalism," as they call it, dare to teach that "the best constitution of public society and (also) civil progress altogether require that human society be conducted and governed without regard being had to religion any more than if it did not exist; or, at least, without any distinction being made between the true religion and false ones." And, against the doctrine of Scripture, of the Church, and of the Holy Fathers, they do not hesitate to assert that "that is the best condition of civil society, in which no duty is recognized, as attached to the civil power, of restraining by enacted penalties, offenders against the Catholic religion, except so far as public peace may require." From which totally false idea of social government they do not fear to foster that erroneous opinion, most fatal in its effects on the Catholic Church and the salvation of souls, called by Our Predecessor, Gregory XVI, an "insanity," viz., that "liberty of conscience and worship is each man's personal right, which ought to be legally proclaimed and asserted in every rightly constituted society; and that a right resides in the citizens to an absolute liberty, which should be restrained by no authority whether ecclesiastical or civil, whereby they may be able openly and publicly to manifest and declare any of their ideas whatever, either by word of mouth, by the press, or in any other way." But, while they rashly affirm this, they do not think and consider that they are preaching "liberty of perdition;" and that "if human arguments are always allowed free room for discussion, there will never be wanting men who will dare to resist truth, and to trust in the flowing speech of human wisdom; whereas we know, from the very teaching of our Lord Jesus Christ, how carefully Christian faith and wisdom should avoid this most injurious babbling." (Pope Pius IX, Quanta Cura, December 8, 1864.)

Archbishop John Carroll believed that, far from being a threat to the life of the Catholic Church and the rights of her children, "religious liberty" and "separation of Church and State" were novel legal protections that should serve as the model for all nations in the "civilized" world. This is also, of course, the oft-stated belief of the fatigued and fatiguing apostate in Rome, Joseph Ratzinger/Benedict XVI.

We can see now, however, that Barack Hussein Obama is simply the ultimate "end game" of what results in a civil state founded upon the false, naturalistic, anti-Incarnational, religiously indifferentist and semi-Pelagian principles of Modernity. Statism is the one and only result that can occur, and there is no electoral, constitutional, legal, non-denominational, inter-denominational or secular, naturalistic "cut" to stop the triumph of statism. Only the fulfillment of Our Lady's Fatima Message can stop statism, based as it is in the errors of Russia, where the seeds of the recrudescence of state supremacy over religion were planted by the czars of Russian Orthodoxy after the schism of 1054 A.D, thus presaging the way for the Protestant Revolution's own overthrow of the Social Reign of Christ the King, which itself made possible the rise of Jacobinism in the West while Bolshevism became the end result of Russian Orthodoxy as the commissars replaced the czars with total power.

It was only a matter of time before the Jacobins and Bolsheviks gained elected office in this land, the United States of America, of such complete "liberty" that error is considered to have more "rights" than the immutable truths of the true Faith. It was only a matter of time before civil rulers would say, "Our desire to protect the 'rights' of a 'persecuted minority' trumps religious freedom." It was only a matter of time before the men who all but a handful of warring Catholics, many of whom project their so-called "traditional movement" to be something big and consequential when it is so microscopically small and inconsequential that almost no one but no one outside of the rubber room of traditionalism knows anything about the "movement," believe are the Catholic bishops of the United States of America would be faced with one rear-guard effort after another to defend what little of Faith and Morals remain in the conciliar church.

Thus it is that the text of the alleged "compromise" announced yesterday by John Carroll's Caesar, Barack Hussein Obama, is but another triumph of statism over the ethos of Americanism that helped to make its rise inevitable. Various passages from Obama's statement will be presented here, followed by very brief commentaries as the hour is once again after Midnight, Eastern Standard Time.

Excerpt One:

We also accepted a recommendation from the experts at the Institute of Medicine that when it comes to women, preventive care should include coverage of contraceptive services such as birth control.  In addition to family planning, doctors often prescribe contraception as a way to reduce the risks of ovarian and other cancers, and treat a variety of different ailments.  And we know that the overall cost of health care is lower when women have access to contraceptive services. (Remarks by the President on Preventive Care.)

Charitable Commentary: Excuse me, Mister President, haven't you read Memo To David Axelrod And Other Social Engineers by now? If you haven't, making one of only approximately six billion people who have not, let me repeat what I wrote to your "Senior Advisor," David Axelrod: Pregnancy is not a disease to be "prevented." The only just and legitimate purpose of the power that God gave to man to continue the species is to bring forth new life. You are spreading disinformation in order to change the reality of how the great gift of human conjugal intimacy is to be used solely within the context of marriage in order to bring forth new life and to have each new child's immortal soul regenerated in the baptismal font unto the supernatural life of Sanctifying Grace. You are a moron, Mister President.

Excerpt Two:

Nearly 99 percent of all women have relied on contraception at some point in their lives –- 99 percent.  And yet, more than half of all women between the ages of 18 and 34 have struggled to afford it.  So for all these reasons, we decided to follow the judgment of the nation’s leading medical experts and make sure that free preventive care includes access to free contraceptive care.

Whether you’re a teacher, or a small businesswoman, or a nurse, or a janitor, no woman’s health should depend on who she is or where she works or how much money she makes.  Every woman should be in control of the decisions that affect her own health. Period.  This basic principle is already the law in 28 states across the country. (Remarks by the President on Preventive Care.)

Charitable Commentary: From what source do you derive your "authoritative" statistics? Bullwinkle J. Moose (aka, Mister Know-It-All)? Once again as you seem to be a very slow learned, contraception is not "preventive care." It is a direct violation of the absolute and immutable Sovereignty of God over the sanctity and fecundity of marriage. Most contraceptives, Mister President, not only "prevent" the conception of a child. They kill babies. As the late Father Paul Marx, O.S.B.,the founder of Human Life International, noted so frequently, "Most contraceptives abort. Most contraceptives abort all of the time." Furthermore, human beings do not have absolute autonomy over the just of their bodies, in which dwells their immortal soul. Contingent beings who did not create themselves and whose bodies are destined one day for the corruption of the grave until the General Resurrection on the Last Day are subject to the binding precepts of the Divine Positive Law and the Natural Law as these have been entrusted by the Second Person of the Most Blessed Trinity, Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, Who was made Man in the Virginal and Immaculate Womb of His Most Blessed Mother by the power of God the Holy Ghost, to the infallible teaching authority of His Catholic Church. Disbelieve that at the continued peril you place your immortal soul every day by your evil actions.

Excerpt Three:

Now, as we move to implement this rule, however, we’ve been mindful that there’s another principle at stake here –- and that’s the principle of religious liberty, an inalienable right that is enshrined in our Constitution.  As a citizen and as a Christian, I cherish this right.

In fact, my first job in Chicago was working with Catholic parishes in poor neighborhoods, and my salary was funded by a grant from an arm of the Catholic Church.  And I saw that local churches often did more good for a community than a government program ever could, so I know how important the work that faith-based organizations do and how much impact they can have in their communities. (Remarks by the President on Preventive Care.)

Charitable Commentary: "Religious liberty" is what made possible your election as President of the United States of America. The toleration of all manner of errors and the false, naturalistic belief that human beings do not have to subordinate themselves at all times in all their pertains to the good of their immortal souls to the Sacred Deposit of Faith that Our Lord gave to His Catholic Church for their eternal safekeeping and infallible explication is what has made possible your very ascent to power. You have been enabled by Catholics, such as those with whom you worked in Chicago, who believe in one statist myth after another.

What is at stake here, Mister President, is obedience to the law of God. Nothing else. No government can make or enforce any law or regulation to mandate that anyone violate the law of God.

Excerpt Four:

I also know that some religious institutions -– particularly those affiliated with the Catholic Church -– have a religious objection to directly providing insurance that covers contraceptive services for their employees.  And that’s why we originally exempted all churches from this requirement -– an exemption, by the way, that eight states didn’t already have.

And that’s why, from the very beginning of this process, I spoke directly to various Catholic officials, and I promised that before finalizing the rule as it applied to them, we would spend the next year working with institutions like Catholic hospitals and Catholic universities to find an equitable solution that protects religious liberty and ensures that every woman has access to the care that she needs. (Remarks by the President on Preventive Care.)

Charitable Commentary: Mister President, you have no authority found in the Constitution of the United States of America or even in the text of your socialist monstrosity, the "Affordable Care Act" (ObamaCare), to mandate that institutions affiliated with the outward appearances of the Catholic Church provide health insurance coverage for contraception. Thus it is that the "magnanimity" of your original so-called "exemption" to churches, as opposed to church-run institutions, far from being a sign of your "generosity," is a hubristic exercise in personal self-congratulations for granting an exception to mandate that you have no authority to impose upon any person or institution, religious or otherwise.

Most of the alleged "Catholic" officials with whom you spoke, Mister President, supported your "Affordable Care Act." Many of them actually voted for you in the belief that you stood for "social justice" and a new "post-partisan" brand of politics, disregarding your unequivocal support for the unrestricted slicing and dicing of innocent babies in their mothers' wombs. Some of these officials are pleased with your self-styled "accommodation," indicating once again that the sons and daughters of John Carroll can accommodate themselves to a regime just as much as he did, setting Catholics on the course that is now enveloping them.

Excerpt Five:

Now, after the many genuine concerns that have been raised over the last few weeks, as well as, frankly, the more cynical desire on the part of some to make this into a political football, it became clear that spending months hammering out a solution was not going to be an option, that we needed to move this faster.  So last week, I directed the Department of Health and Human Services to speed up the process that had already been envisioned.  We weren’t going to spend a year doing this; we're going to spend a week or two doing this.

Today, we've reached a decision on how to move forward.  Under the rule, women will still have access to free preventive care that includes contraceptive services -– no matter where they work.  So that core principle remains.  But if a woman’s employer is a charity or a hospital that has a religious objection to providing contraceptive services as part of their health plan, the insurance company -– not the hospital, not the charity -– will be required to reach out and offer the woman contraceptive care free of charge, without co-pays and without hassles.

The result will be that religious organizations won’t have to pay for these services, and no religious institution will have to provide these services directly.  Let me repeat:  These employers will not have to pay for, or provide, contraceptive services.  But women who work at these institutions will have access to free contraceptive services, just like other women, and they'll no longer have to pay hundreds of dollars a year that could go towards paying the rent or buying groceries. (Remarks by the President on Preventive Care.)

Charitable Commentary: You, our most unkind and patronizing caesar, are a demagogue. It is not the Speaker of the House of Representatives, United States Representative John H. Boehner (R-Ohio), who has created a "political football." You have done so, precisely out of a cynical desire to appeal to women voters and to exploit the de facto acceptance of contraception by many ordinary Catholics, a lot of whom have been advised by their "priests" in the confessional to "follow their conscience," in order to drive a wedge between them and their "bishops," most of whom have never uttered a word against contraception in their sacerdotal or presbyteral lives.

Shifting the burden onto insurance companies to pay for "free contraceptives" is but another one of your shell games, Mister President. You are a snake-oil salesman. Someone has to pay the price as neither the pharmaceutical companies or the insurance companies are going to give these poisons away for nothing. Once again, you have no authority to impose your deeply held falsehoods that treat the chemical and surgical assassination of innocent preborn babies as a "sacrament" that must drive almost the entirety of public-policy decision-making in area over which the government has no just authority whatsoever, health care.

Ever the demagogue, this excerpt from your statement yesterday includes the purely gratuitous emotional red-herring that women are faced with a choice of paying for contraceptives or paying the rent or buying groceries. This is shameless demagoguery of the highest (or lowest) order. Poor women who desire to commit sins of natural vice against the Sixth and Ninth Commandments can obtain contraceptives in plentiful supply from the government-funded baby-killing factory known as Planned Parenthood. No, Mister President, you are simply attempting to create yet another entitlement so that a group of voters will be beholden to you and your moral relativism and legal positivism.

Excerpt Number Six:

Now, I've been confident from the start that we could work out a sensible approach here, just as I promised.  I understand some folks in Washington may want to treat this as another political wedge issue, but it shouldn’t be.  I certainly never saw it that way.  This is an issue where people of goodwill on both sides of the debate have been sorting through some very complicated questions to find a solution that works for everyone. With today’s announcement, we've done that.  Religious liberty will be protected, and a law that requires free preventive care will not discriminate against women.

We live in a pluralistic society where we're not going to agree on every single issue, or share every belief.  That doesn’t mean that we have to choose between individual liberty and basic fairness for all Americans.  We are unique among nations for having been founded upon both these principles, and our obligation as citizens is to carry them forward.  I have complete faith that we can do that.

Thank you very much, everybody.  (Remarks by the President on Preventive Care.)

Charitable Commentary: What chutzpah. You never "saw" this as a "political wedge issue." Your "senior advisor" never authorized any polling on the matter to see whether you could weather a firestorm? What incredible hubris. That's all I really have to say to you, Mister President, other than to state that I, among many other Catholics, pray for your conversion to the true Faith before die as you have an immortal soul made in the image and likeness of the Most Blessed Trinity and redeemed by the shedding of every single drop of the Most Precious Blood of the Divine Redeemer, Christ the King, He Who is the Sovereign of all men and all nations, including the United States of America.

Back to you, my few and most penurious readers. Back to you.

As noted before, it is precisely the Americanist heresy called "religious liberty," embraced with such enthusiasm by Bishop (later Archbishop) John Carroll, that created the likes of our currently reigning caesar, Barack Hussein Obama. Like all such errors, however, it will be vanquished by the Triumph of the Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary.

Several final points should be made before attempting to get to sleep around 2:00 a.m., on the Feast of the Apparition of Our Lady of Lourdes.

First, despite all of the huffing and puffing from the conciliar "bishops" in the United States of America about this issue, "Catholic" institutions in the State of New York have been mandated for ten years to provide health insurance coverage for contraceptives. The Archdiocese of New York and the Diocese of Brooklyn opted to "self-insure" rather than comply with the state mandate. The other six dioceses in the state of my birth of longtime residence (Rockville Centre, Albany, Syracuse, Rochester, Buffalo, Ogdensburg) have not opted out, meaning that the "bishops" of those dioceses went along with the mandate, some of them doing so "under protest." None risked jail. And, furthermore, many "independent" institutions, such as the lay-run Fordham University, have accepted the mandate without much, if any, protest at all.

Second, Barack Hussein Obama's efforts to redefine executive power demonstrate once again quite a difference between the naturalists of the false opposite of the "left" and those of the "right."

That is, as noted in Selective Use of Executive Power on November 4, 2007, Presidents George Herbert Walker Bush and George Walker Bush used the full weight of executive power to justify the commitment of the armed forces of the United States of America in combat in Iraq and elsewhere without securing any declaration of war from the Congress of the United States of America. They could not, however, even imagine of using that same weight of executive power to do anything truly substantive to limit surgical baby-killing. Indeed, both proposed budgets to fund the chemical assassination of the preborn (and the surgical killing of babies in some instances) and Bush the Lesser did nothing to reverse the United States Food and Drug Administration's decision to market the human pesticide, RU-486, the French abortion pill, once he became president, having said in a debate with then Vice President Albert Arnold Gore, Jr., on October 2, 2000, that he would not have the "power" to do so, especially if the F.D.A. had determined that this poisonous pill was "safe" for women. (Need a reminder? Sure, go to Pope Pius XII Slams The National Not-So-Right-Life Committee and George Walker Bush and Other Pro-Abortion Pols.) Bush the Lesser gave his approval as the Food and Drug Administration under his watch gave permission for the over-the-counter sales of the baby killing potion known as the "Plan B emergency contraceptive." The lords of the left are always more consistent and more bold in their defense of evil than the lords of the right are in seeking to do anything substantive to reverse grave social evils that are promoted under cover of the civil law and with our own taxpayer dollars.

Third, Barack Hussein Obama's "accommodation" does not only not truly exempt Catholic institutions in conciliar custody for being immersed in the "family planning" behemoth (although some of these institutions actively promote an anti-life agenda while also promoting a contraceptive mentality among Catholics, albeit by "natural" means, you understand), it does nothing to protect individual Catholic employers from having to knuckle under to the illegal and unconstitutional Obama administration mandate. The conciliar "bishops" are concerned only about themselves and their own institutions, not about protecting individual Catholics who are rightly opposed to the provision of insurance coverage for contraception to their employees.

Fourth, the conciliar "bishops" have done nothing politically over the course of the last forty-two years to stop Title X funding of "family planning" services by the federal government of the United States of America, an initiative of the administration of President Richard Milhous Nixon, and they have done nothing to stop the funding of international "family planning" programs that have been in place since the time of the administration of President Lyndon Baines Johnson when the United States Agency for International Development began the worldwide distribution of contraceptive pills and devices in 1966. Silence. Inaction. Acceptance.

Mrs. Randy Engel has offered a very cogent analysis of the actions of the conciliar "bishops:"

Dear Friends - Have you noticed that in the current intense “debate” over insurance and birth control, not a single bishop has suggested - not even a peep - that the government get itself out of the life prevention arena altogether? Do the bishops or the USCCB bureaucrats care that Catholic taxpayers for more than 44 years have been paying taxes to support anti-life government policies? Bishops have not minded that from day one. Have you heard one bishop say recently “Down with Title X population control programs at home (HHS/PHSA) and abroad (USAID)? Isn’t it time, the Catholic laity puts the bishops’ feet to the fire regarding the true crux of the matter – federal anti-natalist policies. Now is as good a time to force the American bishops to do what they should have done four decades ago, and millions of dead unborn children ago, but didn’t. Randy Engel, U.S. Coalition for Life

Well, of course, the conciliar "bishops" are not bishops of the Catholic Church. Their very actions prove why that is so. Indeed, even the actions of the conciliar Vatican in matters of international conferences on "population" provide correlative proof of the spirit of apostasy their grips their Modernist minds (see A Matter of God's Sovereignty). Even the statement issued by the so-called United States Conference of Catholic Bishops late last evening, Friday, February 10, 2012, closes with a plea for the "protection" of the very insanity that produced this mess, "religious liberty" and "freedom of conscience:"

We just received information about this proposal for the first time this morning; we were not consulted in advance. Some information we have is in writing and some is oral. We will, of course, continue to press for the greatest conscience protection we can secure from the Executive Branch. But stepping away from the particulars, we note that today's proposal continues to involve needless government intrusion in the internal governance of religious institutions, and to threaten government coercion of religious people and groups to violate their most deeply held convictions. In a nation dedicated to religious liberty as its first and founding principle, we should not be limited to negotiating within these parameters. The only complete solution to this religious liberty problem is for HHS to rescind the mandate of these objectionable services.

We will therefore continue—with no less vigor, no less sense of urgency—our efforts to correct this problem through the other two branches of government. For example, we renew our call on Congress to pass, and the Administration to sign, the Respect for Rights of Conscience Act. And we renew our call to the Catholic faithful, and to all our fellow Americans, to join together in this effort to protect religious liberty and freedom of conscience for all. (Statement of the Apostates Issued from the Cement Palace in Washington, District of Columbia.)

No call for the repeal of the ObamaCare, which is a violation of the Natural Law principle of subsidiarity. No, just a plea for the insanity fostered by Archbishop John Carroll and those who fostered him that made the rise of Barack Hussein Obama and his ObamaCare inevitable. The conciliar "bishops" are simply not Catholic. They are apostates.

This is all a gigantic farce, played out on a stage in the theater of the absurd by the lords of Modernity in the world and of Modernism in the counterfeit church of conciliarism.

The solution? Our Lady's Fatima Message.

Do not despair. Things will only get worse. Consider it a privilege to live in these challenging times as God has ordained it so that we be alive in them in order to give Him honor and glory and to sanctifying our souls as the consecrated slaves of the Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary.

Obviously, we must pray as many Rosaries each day as our states-in-life permit, using the shield of Our Lady's Brown Scapular of Mount Carmel and the weapon of her Rosary to protect us from the contagion of apostasy and betrayal that is all around us. We must also, of course, make reparation for our own many sins by offering up all of our prayers and sufferings and sacrifices and humiliations and penances and mortifications and fastings to the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus through the Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary.

This will all pass. The triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary will be made manifest, and it will be a triumph beyond all telling.
