Do Tell

by Thomas A. Droleskey

One of the policies that I have tried to follow on this site is to refrain from referring by name, even in a positive way, to former friends and associates who I know would be embarrassed by any such mention hereon. There have been times when I have referred to one or two individuals who we have met along our travels in a positive way who, I came to learn later, did not want their names to appear anywhere on the internet. One of these people still refuses to speak with me.

Although I have referred to my brother, who is a noted veterinary microbiologist, every now and again in the context of wishing him a happy birthday (which falls on the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe), I don't do so regularly as he does not agree with me on very much and I am sure that he takes a "hit" now and again from some among his colleagues in the scientific community who might happen across this site and say to him, "Your brother is crazy," a conclusion that my brother might not protest with any degree of vehemence. There are times, however, when it is quite useful to quote my brother,  who has been on his own since graduating Oyster Bay High School in Oyster Bay, New York, on June 27, 1971. This is one of those times, especially today, the eighty-ninth anniversary of our late mother's birth in Kansas City, Missouri.

My brother was wont to say when the following when the obvious was pointed out to him: "Do tell." This meant, of course, that a statement that had just made to him was in need of no further discussion. "Do tell."

"Do tell" came to mind when reading the story, called to my attention three days ago by a reader of this site, on the Catholic News Agency website concerning the former chief exorcist of the conciliar Vatican, Father Gabriel Amorth, who has written in his newly published memoirs that actual satanists are to be found among the conciliar College of Cardinals:

Rome, Italy, Mar 3, 2010 / 04:20 pm (CNA).- A renowned exorcist in Rome recently released a book of memoirs in which he declares to know of the existence of Satanic sects in the Vatican where participation reaches all the way to the College of Cardinals. A second demonologist, also residing in Rome, entered the debate this week, clarifying the origins of the information and defending the Vatican's clergy as an "edifying and virtuous" collection of prelates.

In a book of memoirs released in February, the noted Italian exorcist Fr. Gabriele Amorth affirmed that "Yes, also in the Vatican there are members of Satanic sects." When asked if members of the clergy are involved or if this is within the lay community, he responded, "There are priests, monsignors and also cardinals!"

The book, "Father Amorth. Memoirs of an Exorcist. My life fighting against Satan." was written by Marco Tosatti, who compiled it from interviews with the priest.

Fr. Amorth was asked by Tosatti how he knows Vatican clergy are involved. He answered, "I know from those who have been able to relate it to me because they had a way of knowing directly. And it's something 'confessed' most times by the very demon under obedience during the exorcisms."

The famous Italian exorcist was also asked if the Pope was aware of Satanic sects in the Vatican, to which Fr. Amorth replied, "Of course, he was informed. But he does what he can. It's a horrifying thing."

Benedict XVI, being German, comes from a place "decidedly averse to these things," argued Fr. Amorth, saying that in Germany "there practically aren't any exorcists." However, he clarified, "the Pope believes (in them)."

The Italian priest also warned of the existence of bishops and priests who do not believe in Satan in the interview.  "And yet, in the Gospel, Jesus speaks extensively about it, so it should be said, either they've never read the Gospel or they just don't believe it!"

Fr. Jose Antonio Fortea Cucurull, a Spanish priest and theologian who specializes in demonology and is now studying for his doctorate of theology in Rome, responded to Fr. Amorth's assertions on March 1.

After reading reports of Fr. Amorth's accusations pointing a finger at members of the clergy, including cardinals, Fr. Fortea declared that it is a "duty of justice" to speak out in their defense.

Noting that some prelates "are more spiritual and others more earthly, some more virtuous and others more human," he wrote on his blog, "from there to affirm that some cardinals are members of Satanic sects is an unacceptable distance."

The Spanish priest then explained the sources of information used by Fr. Amorth to say that Satanic sects are operating in the Vatican.

In addition to the people that seek help for demonic possession, said Fr. Fortea, "innumerable persons come to us who claim to have visions, revelations and messages from Our Lord." Among these, "a certain number offer apocalyptic messages and revelations about the infiltration of Satanism and the Masons within the dome of the Church."

Fr. Fortea added that the only acceptable stance is to suspend judgment of the messages while they are subjected to time-intensive discernment, "sometimes months for each one of the cases."

The other source Fr. Amorth refers to, according to Fr. Fortea, is the demons who are being exorcised. Of this, the Spanish priest wrote that knowing whether or not the demon is telling the truth "is in many cases impossible."

"We can know with great confidence when a demon tells the truth in the subject directly related with the exorcism. That is, the number of demons, their name and similar things. But we cannot be confident in what regards concrete news relating to people."

"Father Amorth does not have other sources of knowledge than the two that I just cited," indicated the Spanish exorcist, "I refer to his own words for this affirmation."

Fr. Fortea observed that the existence of similar messages from the same sources is "something known by me just as (it has been) by many other colleagues for many years."

"Among exorcists, some have come to similar conclusions as those of Fr. Amorth. Others have not."

Fr. Fortea also defended those implicated in Fr. Amorth's statements, stating, "Our College of Cardinals, if we compare it with past centuries is the most edifying and virtuous that history has ever known. One would have to go back to the epoch of the Roman Empire to find a body of electors so distanced from all earthly pretension as the current one is.

"Cardinals might be better or worse," he reflected, "but all have upright intentions and seek the glory of God."

He concluded by emphasizing, "Statements must be proven, especially when they are about such grave accusations that affect the honorability of those who form part of the Head of the Church as far as they help the Supreme Pastor." (Spanish exorcist addresses claims of Satanic influence in Vatican.)

As my only (and younger, by two years, eighteen days) brother said years ago when we were growing up, "Do tell." One priest tells the truth about the influence of the devil in the conciliar Vatican and another disparages it. This is just Par for the course in the counterfeit church of conciliarism, which is a place full of diabolical deceits. Only men who are, whether wittingly or unwittingly, in the grip of the devil can participate in one travesty after another against the honor and majesty and glory of the Most Blessed Trinity as they themselves propagated false doctrines and condemned propositions, no less to look the other way at the suffering of the sheep who have been victimized by "bishops" and priest and presbyters, if no actually protect the abusers with their own curial authority.

Among the the diabolical deceits associated with the counterfeit church of conciliarism one must begin with its liturgical effort to enshrine the errors of Protestantism and Modernity into what passes for Catholic "worship" so as to undermine and eclipse the sensus Catholicus in the souls of ordinary Catholics, conditioning them to accept liturgical novelty and change so that they would conclude (as many have) that everything about the life of the Catholic Church, including her Sacred Doctrine, was subject to change, reinterpretation or obliteration altogether.

Indeed, a dentist on Long Island, who, I learned recently, died just last year, told me when I mentioned Purgatory to him in February of 2003 as he was doing a root canal on one of my molars (a job that he botched terribly, necessitating the extraction of the tooth in January of 2005 in California), "Purgatory! I thought they got rid of that!" (He's found out differently in the meantime.) And it had been just about six years before, in 1997, that I confronted a conciliar pastor who failed to mention Purgatory on All Souls' Day, prompting an enraged member of the Knights of Columbus to threaten to hit me as he shouted, "Shut your [expletive deleted] mouth. Father's right. There ain't no Purgatory no more." (See also: They Like It!)

Thus it is that the the Novus Ordo worship service, although composed after the conclusion of the "Second" Vatican Council, represents the devil's supreme triumph in the counterfeit church of conciliarism as elements of Protestantism and Masonry were introduced--some at first, many others over the course of time--to destroy the Catholic Faith in the lives of so many ordinary Catholics. A false Mass and other false liturgical rites (of episcopal consecration, of priestly ordination, of exorcism itself--see The Reform of the Rite of Exorcism) have dried up the wellspring of Sanctifying and Actual Graces in the world, thus producing a devastation upon souls that far exceed any of the natural disasters and catastrophes that we have witnessed recently (see Imagine What A Lost Soul Looks Like To God).

These are simply statements of fact, attested to by the very revolutionaries who planned and implemented this false form of worship that is so offensive to Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ and so harmful to the souls He redeemed by the shedding of every single drop of His Most Precious Blood on the wood of the Holy Cross:

"We must strip from our Catholic prayers and from the Catholic liturgy everything which can be the shadow of a stumbling block for our separated brethren that is for the Protestants." (Annibale Bugnini, L'Osservatore Romano, March 19, 1965.)

"[T]he intention of Pope Paul VI with regard to what is commonly called the Mass, was to reform the Catholic liturgy in such a way that it should coincide with the Protestant liturgy.... [T]here was with Pope Paul VI an ecumenical intention to remove, or at least to correct, or at least to relax, what was too Catholic in the traditional sense, in the Mass, and I, repeat, to get the Catholic Mass closer to the Calvinist mass" (Dec. 19, 1993), Apropos, #17, pp. 8f; quoted in Christian Order, October, 1994. (Jean Guitton, a close friend of Giovanni Montini/Paul VI. The quotation and citations are found in Christopher A. Ferrara and Thomas E. Woods, Jr., The Great Facade, The Remnant Publishing Company, 2002, p. 317.)

Let it be candidly said: the Roman Rite which we have known hitherto no longer exists. It is destroyed. (Father Joseph Gelineau, an associate of Annibale Bugnini on the Consilium, 1uoted and footnoted in the work of a John Mole, who believed that the Mass of the Roman Rite had been "truncated," not destroyed. Assault on the Roman Rite)

Although I have come to recognize that the "resist and recognize" philosophy taken by the authors of The Devil's Final Battle is not in accord with Catholic doctrine, there are significant passages in the book that do document the truly revolutionary nature of the "Second" Vatican Council and its aftermath in the minds of those who planned its agenda and helped to shape the conciliar documents themselves. These men were indeed doing the work of the devil regardless as to whether they were formally attached to him:

With good reason, then, have progressivists such as Cardinal Suenens, Küng, Louis Bouyer and Yves Congar celebrated Vatican II as a Revolution, as the death of one era and the beginning of a new:

  • Cardinal Suenens, who wielded great influence over Pope Paul VI, and who is a darling to those in the Church who call themselves “Charismatics”, rejoiced that Vatican II marked the end of the Tridentine epoch and the end of the era of Vatican I.26
  • Hans Küng gloated, “Compared to the post-Tridentine epoch of the Counter-reformation, Vatican Council II represents in its fundamental characteristics, a 180 degree turn ... It is a new Church that has sprung up since Vatican II.”27
  • Father Bouyer, a French peritus at the Council, exclaimed with relish that the anti-Protestant, anti-Modernist aspect of the Catholic Church “might as well die.”28
  • Likewise, the Rome-based Jesuit magazine, La Civiltà Cattolica, also exclaimed joyfully, “With Vatican Council II, the Tridentine age was brought to a close for the Church.”29

These statements are especially audacious when we consider that the Councils of Trent and Vatican I are dogmatic Councils whose teachings can never be changed, disregarded, or reinterpreted in the name of a “deeper understanding”. The First Vatican Council declared infallibly:

The meaning of Sacred Dogmas, which must always be preserved, is that which our Holy Mother the Church has determined. Never is it permissible to depart from this in the name of a deeper understanding.30

Modernists, however, as Pope Saint Pius X warned, do not accept anything as fixed or unchanging. Their chief principle is the “evolution of dogma”. They champion the notion that religion must change for the sake of changing times. In this respect, as in many others, the prime movers of Vatican II reveal themselves as men steeped in the error of Modernism. (Father Paul Kramer, ed., The Devil's Final Battle, The Motive Takes Hold.)

The attack on the nature of dogmatic truth is at the heart of conciliarism, which is why numerous articles on this matter have been published on this site. Joseph Ratzinger/Benedict XVI has been one of the chief propagators of this fundamental error, thereby assisting the devil by convincing Catholics that there are "particulars" in dogmatic formulations that can change over time, which is nothing other than a work of blasphemy against the Third Person of the Most Blessed Trinity, God the Holy Ghost, Who inspired the Fathers of dogmatic councils and our true popes to use the exact language that they did when expressing the Sacred Deposit that Holy Mother Church has received from her Invisible Head and Mystical Bridegroom, Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. And who is the author of blasphemy? The devil, of course. No one else.

It is the devil who has been pleased as the false "pontiffs" have entered into one place of false "worship" after another, esteeming the symbols of false religions and praising their ability to help "build" the "better" world and to provide "peace." Each false religion is in the grip of the devil himself.

It is the devil who has been pleased as the falsehoods of separation of Church and State and religious liberty that attack the Social Kingship of Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ have helped to further enshrine and institutionalize his reign over the hearts of men and the very lives of their nations.

It is the devil who has been pleased to see the falsehoods of ecumenism and inter-religious "dialogue" and inter-religious "prayer" services propagated to destroy what should be a Catholic's basic instincts to seek the spiritual good of his non-Catholic relatives, friends, neighbors, co-workers, associates and acquaintances.

It is the devil who has inspired Joseph Ratzinger's War Against Catholicism, going so far as to lead this false "pontiff" in his very den, synagogues, to praise the false religion of Talmudic Judaism and to blaspheme God directly by saying that "Christians and Jews pray to the same Lord" (see Saint Peter and Anti-Peter). Ratzinger/Benedict will give credence once again to the false religion of Lutheranism as he preaches a sermon and then listens to a Lutheran "minister" preach, meaning that the man who thinks that he is the Vicar of Our Lord Jesus Christ on earth has something to learn from one who is not a member of the true Church and who rejects much of her Deposit of Faith, including the fact that part of that Sacred Deposit is composed of Apostolic Tradition in addition to Sacred Scripture (see Pope Leo X and Anti-Leo X).

The devil has even triumphed, albeit temporarily, over Our Lady's Most Holy Rosary as her Psalter has been altered to included the "luminous mysteries."

Pope Saint Pius X's description of Modernism, which is one of the devil's many false religions, describes in a very succinct manner how the devil has worked to undermine the Catholic Faith in the hearts and souls of so many hundreds of millions of Catholics around the world in the decades following the "Second" Vatican Council and its wretched aftermath:

It remains for Us now to say a few words about the Modernist as reformer. From all that has preceded, it is abundantly clear how great and how eager is the passion of such men for innovation. In all Catholicism there is absolutely nothing on which it does not fasten. . .

To penetrate still deeper into the meaning of Modernism and to find a suitable remedy for so deep a sore, it behooves Us, Venerable Brethren, to investigate the causes which have engendered it and which foster its growth. That the proximate and immediate cause consists in an error of the mind cannot be open to doubt. We recognize that the remote causes may be reduced to two: curiosity and pride. Curiosity by itself, if not prudently regulated, suffices to account for all errors. Such is the opinion of Our predecessor, Gregory XVI, who wrote: "A lamentable spectacle is that presented by the aberrations of human reason when it yields to the spirit of novelty, when against the warning of the Apostle it seeks to know beyond what it is meant to know, and when relying too much on itself it thinks it can find the truth outside the Catholic Church wherein truth is found without the slightest shadow of error."

But it is pride which exercises an incomparably greater sway over the soul to blind it and lead it into error, and pride sits in Modernism as in its own house, finding sustenance everywhere in its doctrines and lurking in its every aspect. It is pride which fills Modernists with that self-assurance by which they consider themselves and pose as the rule for all. It is pride which puffs them up with that vainglory which allows them to regard themselves as the sole possessors of knowledge, and makes them say, elated and inflated with presumption, "We are not as the rest of men," and which, lest they should seem as other men, leads them to embrace and to devise novelties even of the most absurd kind. It is pride which rouses in them the spirit of disobedience and causes them to demand a compromise between authority and liberty. It is owing to their pride that they seek to be the reformers of others while they forget to reform themselves, and that they are found to be utterly wanting in respect for authority, even for the supreme authority. Truly there is no road which leads so directly and so quickly to Modernism as pride. When a Catholic layman or a priest forgets the precept of the Christian life which obliges us to renounce ourselves if we would follow Christ and neglects to tear pride from his heart, then it is he who most of all is a fully ripe subject for the errors of Modernism.

Who is the author of pride? The proud one himself, the devil, which is why we must be grateful for those moments when we are beaten down so that we will cast this devil behind us once and for all as we seek to cooperate with the graces sent to us by Our Lady that have been won for us by her Divine Son's Redemptive Act on the wood of the Holy Cross.

Although Father Gabriel Amorth noted that Ratzinger/Benedict is aware of the practice of satanism in the Vatican, the well-meaning and brutally honest exorcist does not discuss that Ratzinger/Benedict himself is in the grip of the devil by means of his apostasies and by means of the many blasphemies and sacrileges he has committed publicly and openly against the honor and glory and majesty of the Most Blessed Trinity. As Ratzinger/Benedict is so very open to the "truth" to be found in error (see Rotten To The Very Roots), he is very sanguine about the relatively innocuous nature of formal satanism right under his very nose. Father Amorth is, of course, to be given credit for noting this in a back-handed kind of way by observing that the false "pontiff" believes in exorcists even though Germans have a general aversion to them.

Can the Catholic Church be responsible for doctrinal and liturgical deviations that are, of their very false nature, from the devil? Never. It is not possible:

"A legitimate pope cannot contradict or deny what was first taught by Christ to His Church. An essential change in belief constitutes the establishment of a new religion.

"The attribute of infallibility was given to the popes in order that the revealed doctrines and teaching of Christ would remain forever intact and unchanged. It is contrary to faith and reason to blindly follow an alleged pope who attempts to destroy the Catholic Faith--for there have been 41 documented antipopes. Papal infallibility means that the Holy Ghost guides and preserves the Catholic Church from error through the succession of legitimate popes who have ruled the Church through the centuries. All Catholics, including Christ's Vicar on earth, the pope, must accept all the doctrinal pronouncements of past popes. These infallible teachings form a vital link between Christ and St. Peter and his successors.

"If a pope did not accept and believe this entire body of formulated teachings (the Deposit of Faith), he could not himself be a Catholic. He would cease to belong to Christ's Church. If he no longer belongs to the Catholic Church, he cannot be her Head." (Fathers Francisco and Dominic Radecki, CMRI, Tumultuous Times, p. 274.)

In the Catholic Church Christianity is Incarnate. It identifies Itself with that perfect, spiritual, and, in its own order, sovereign society, which is the Mystical Body of Jesus Christ and which has for Its visible head the Roman Pontiff, successor of the Prince of the Apostles. It is the continuation of the mission of the Savior, the daughter and the heiress of His Redemption. It has preached the Gospel, and has defended it at the price of Its blood, and strong in the Divine assistance and of that immortality which has been promised it, It makes no terms with error but remains faithful to the commands which  it has received, to carry the doctrine of Jesus Christ to the uttermost limits of the world and to the end of time, and to protect it in its inviolable integrity. (Pope Leo XIII, A Review of His Pontificate, March 19, 1902.)

For the teaching authority of the Church, which in the divine wisdom was constituted on earth in order that revealed doctrines might remain intact for ever, and that they might be brought with ease and security to the knowledge of men, and which is daily exercised through the Roman Pontiff and the Bishops who are in communion with him, has also the office of defining, when it sees fit, any truth with solemn rites and decrees, whenever this is necessary either to oppose the errors or the attacks of heretics, or more clearly and in greater detail to stamp the minds of the faithful with the articles of sacred doctrine which have been explained. (Pope Pius XI, Mortalium Animos, January 6, 1928.)

The Catholic Church does indeed make her teaching known with ease and security to the knowledge of men. She makes no terms with error. There is never a shadow of an error to be found in doctrine and/or worship. Not a shadow. And there is never any need for a true Roman Pontiff to "learn" something more about Christianity from a Protestant or anyone else who is outside of the Church's maternal bosom as Holy Mother Church has everything that pertains to Divine Revelation as part of her own Divine Constitution. There is never anything  legitimate and true to be found outside of her that she is lacking concerning Faith and Morals and Worship.

Our Lady's Immaculate Heart will indeed triumph in the end. She has crushed the head of the adversary. He hates her. He hates our devotions to her, especially on this First Saturday of the month of March.

May we persevere in this season of penance, Lent, in our praying of as many Rosaries each day as our states-in-life permit so that we, unworthy though we may be, might be able to plant a few seeds for the day when Catholics can say "so long" to the conciliar revolutionaries and their perverse liturgies and their corrupt doctrinal and their false moral teachings and "hello" to true popes and true bishops who are defenders of the entirety of the Catholic Faith.

Alleluia! He is Risen!
