Completely Expected

by Thomas A. Droleskey

The article that was revised for publication yesterday,  Seeking To Follow The Example of Saint Nicholas, Not Of The Santa Clauses Who Have Taken Us Over The Moral Cliff, discussed the great affinity that the Marxist-trained, demagogic pro-abortion, pro-perversity, compulsive liar an statist named Barack Hussein Obama/Barry Soetoro has for the Marxist-friendly theological revolutionary and demagogue named Jorge Mario Bergoglio, who has been masquerading as "Pope Francis" since Wednesday, March 13, 2013. This affinity would be returned, I explained last night, when the Argentine apostate meets the American statist for the first time.

After all, Jorge Mario Bergoglio has expressed his affinity for various pro-abortion politicians, kissing the likes of pro-abortion Catholics such as Argentine President Christine Kirchner and Brazilian President Dilma Rousseff and embracing the pro-abortion President of Ecuador, Jose Alberto Mujica Cordano, an atheist, and the pro-abortion President of Bolivia, Evo Morales, who is a former conciliar "bishop," implying that the "better" and the more "just" world can be built upon the blood of the innocent preborn. Active supported given to the execution of the innocent preborn is no impediment to receive plaudits from Jorge Mario Bergoglio as a "champion" of "human rights" as long as they support the "poor. Bergoglio defines this alleged "support for the poor" almost exclusively by the creation and increase of statist schemes of economic redistribution, funded by the confiscatory taxing power of the civil state, and massive programs of economic regulation that decrease legitimate personal liberties and reward donors responsible for funding the campaigns of the prevailing statists. This is what constitutes "justice" in the mind of Jorge Mario Bergoglio, something that will be demonstrated tomorrow in part five of my series on Jorge Mario Bergoglio's Evangelii Gaudium, November 26, 2013, which keeps being pushed back because of breaking events. (It should prove worth the wait.)

Thus it is that Jorge Mario Bergoglio issued a glowing statement praising the late statist named Nelson Mandela, the President of South Africa from 1994 to 1999, after he spent over and and one-half decades as a prisoner for his support of violent methods to end apartheid in what is now called the Republic of South Africa, that is a fiction from beginning to end:

It was with sadness that I learned of the death of former President Nelson Mandela, and I send prayerful condolences to all the Mandela family, to the members of the Government and to all the people of South Africa. In commending the soul of the deceased to the infinite mercy of Almighty God, I ask the Lord to console and strengthen all who mourn his loss. Paying tribute to the steadfast commitment shown by Nelson Mandela in promoting the human dignity of all the nation’s citizens and in forging a new South Africa built on the firm foundations of non-violence, reconciliation and truth, I pray that the late President’s example will inspire generations of South Africans to put justice and the common good at the forefront of their political aspirations. With these sentiments, I invoke upon all the people of South Africa divine gifts of peace and prosperity.  (Jorge pays tribute to Nelson Mandela.)

Words fail.

All right. Not quite. I do have a few words to offer about this statement.

First, Jorge Mario Bergoglio would have us believe that a man who was not a member of the Catholic Church and who supported violent methods to overturn the system of apartheid, imposed in 1948 by descendants of the Dutch Calvinists who wanted to retain their positions of authority, that the Catholic bishops of South Africa had criticized in 1952 and 1957 during the pontificate of our last true pope thus far, Pope Pius XII.

How can Nelson Mandela, a man who co-founded the Umkhonto we Sizwe branch of the African National Congress to engage in armed violence against the government of what became known as the Republic of South Africa on May 31, 1961, after fifty-one years of being called the "Union of South Africa" as part of the British Commonwealth of Nations, that was funded and armed by the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics and other Communist nations, including Fidel Castro's Cuba, be commended to the "infinite mercy of Almighty God" when he never repented of his crimes or of his association with Communists in South Africa, whom he found to be helpful in aiding his cause that was born and maintained in violence, or his being funded by violent Communist dictatorships?

How can a man who talked about "reconciliation" after being released from prison on February 11, 1990, when he said at the time that the "armed struggle," which he helped to direct prior to his imprisonment and continued during it, including the authorization of "necklacing" (the burning alive of opponents and informers within the African National Congress by means of placing tires on around their necks and setting them ablaze) by his then-wife, Winnie, against apartheid would continue until it had been ended be praised as a champion of "non-violence" and "human dignity"?

How can it be said that the "new" South Africa has done anything but increase violent attacks upon the white minority population by racialists and those seeking retribution against random targets for the injustices that occurred during the forty-six years apartheid was the law of the land in South Africa.

How can it be said that Nelson Mandela promoted "non-violence" and "human dignity" when he personally signed legislation, the so-called "Choice of Termination of Pregnancy Act," in 1996 that instituted, starting on February 1, 1997, one of the world's most permissive baby-killing bills?

Despite the world-wide media heaping praise on the recently deceased former President of South Africa Nelson Mandela, a handful of media organs are bringing to light that the former Central Committee member of the SACP (South African Communist Party) was one of the strongest supporters of arguably the most liberal abortion legislation on the globe, as published by the Catholic-centered news portal Rorate Caeli via the news aggregate PewSitter.com on Dec. 5, 2013.

Serving as the Republic of South Africa's president from 1994-1999, Mandela not only signed the Choice on Termination of Pregnancy Act of 1996 , he was also one of the most ardent supporters of what the openly pro-abortion Guttmacher Institute calls "one of the most liberal abortion laws in the world."

As cited, the law "allows abortion on demand up to the 20th week; after it and up to birth for 'serious medical reasons'; and, as amended in 2004, allows registered nurses and midwives to perform abortions as well before the 12th week."

In an academic research paper published by Rhodes University of South Africa, medical historian Dr. Rebecca Hodes of the University of Cape Town noted that prior to the sweeping abortion law of 1996:

There was never broad-based support for abortion within the ANC [Mandela's ruling African National Congress].

According to Rhodes University, Hodes "points out that despite President Nelson Mandela’s explicitly-stated support for the Choice Bill, more than 80 MPs [Members of Parliament] voted against it in October 1996, with over 50 MPs absenting themselves from Parliament on the day as a show of resistance."

Since the legalization of abortion in the RSA, there has been 1 million legal abortions reported to the government, with the overwhelming number being that of racially black African unborn children as cited by Spero News on Jan. 31, 2012. (Ignored by the media: Mandela pushed one of the most pro-abortion laws ever.)

Jorge Mario Bergoglio, however, is a man who does not believe that one who made possible more widespread access to "legalized" baby-killing under the cover of the civil law is an absolute disqualification for the holding of public office or serves as any kind of impediment to to being an admired figure in his own country or on the international stage, rejecting this plain words written by Pope Pius XI in Casti Connubii, December 31, 1930:

Those who hold the reins of government should not forget that it is the duty of public authority by appropriate laws and sanctions to defend the lives of the innocent, and this all the more so since those whose lives are endangered and assailed cannot defend themselves. Among whom we must mention in the first place infants hidden in the mother's womb. And if the public magistrates not only do not defend them, but by their laws and ordinances betray them to death at the hands of doctors or of others, let them remember that God is the Judge and Avenger of innocent blood which cried from earth to Heaven. (Pope Pius XI, Casti Connubii, December 31, 1930.)

Yes, Jorge, God is the Judge and Avenger of innocent blood which cried from earth is Heaven, which is why, apart from all of the other crimes that he committed and the corruption that he sanctioned during his own presidential administration that continues to this very day (see a largely laudatory article about Mandela that nevertheless discusses the writer's disillusionment with the high degree of corruption found in the new governing class: The Contradictions of Mandela), the non-Catholic Mandela, be commended to the "mercy of Almighty God."

Indeed, Nelson Mandela associated with egregious pro-aborts throughout his fourteen years in retirement until his death on Thursday, December 5, 2005, an Advent Ferial Day and the Commemoration of Saint Sabbas:

World famous opponent of South African apartheid, Nelson Mandela, celebrated his 89th birthday last Wednesday by announcing the formation of a Global council of elders, known simply as "The Elders."

So far The Elders includes Kofi Annan, Desmond Tutu, Gro Harlem Brundtland, Mary Robinson, Jimmy Carter, Li Zhaoxing, Muhammad Yunus, Ela Bhatt, Graca Machel, and, of course, Nelson Mandela.

The group of high-profile international leaders is intended to be an independent body of "wise" men and women that will use their combined experience to solve any of the host of problems currently facing the "global village". "The only agenda of The Elders is that of humanity," reads The Elders’ website.

"I see The Elders as a small but independent group that may fill an existing void in the world community," said Elders member, former U.S. president Jimmy Carter. Carter claimed that the group is "almost impervious to the consequences of outside criticism." Members of The Elders cannot currently be in political office, with the intent of creating a non-partisan body.

Nevertheless, while some would debate the notion that the members of the group are ‘non-partisan’ in the first place, what is more certain is that its members are by and large united by a common commitment to radical social liberalism and population control.

The Elders is the brainchild of British entrepreneur Richard Branson, owner of Virgin, and singer Peter Gabriel, who together approached Mandela about the project a number of years ago. According to The Times Online, the pair has already raise £9 million for the group, which will be used for its first three years of operation.

"This group can speak freely and boldly, working both publicly and behind the scenes on whatever actions need to be taken," said Mandela. He continued, outlining The Elders lofty goal: "to support courage where there is fear, foster agreement where there is conflict, and inspire hope where there is despair."

However, with one of the primary figureheads of the group being the Anglican priest Desmond Tutu, who is well known to pro-life and pro-family advocates for his vociferous support of "family planning," including abortion in certain circumstances, and for criticizing the Catholic Church for its teachings on homosexuality and contraception, it is unlikely that The Elders’ agenda will be as innocuous as Mandela’s statement indicates.

"I’m not particularly reassured by that group," said Jim Hughes, president of Campaign Life Coalition, Canada and vice-president of International Right to Life. "Given that almost all of the members of the group are well-known, powerful figures in pro-abortion, pro-population control, pro-everything else circles, I can imagine what sort of ‘wisdom’ they plan on offering the world. Personally, I think the world would be a much better place without that sort of wisdom."

"The fact that they are touting themselves as the world’s wise men is simply a big joke. I would rather refer to them as the wise-guys. That’s closer to the truth," he said.

Austin Ruse, the president of C-Fam, a non-profit, non-partisan research and educational institute focusing on international social policy, had similar remarks about The Elders. “Rather than ‘the Elders’, the group should be called the Crotchety Left Wing Gasbags," said Ruse. "I am certain they will only bloviate on radical social policy. Only the hard left could cook up something so cringe-worthy.”

The group also includes the former head of the World Health Organization, Dr. Gro Bruntland, who, during her stint as Director-General of the WHO pushed for abortion, contraception, and population control under the euphemism of "reproductive health" and women’s health

Kofi Annan, another member of The Elders, is one of the world’s foremost defenders of population control, and has long supported same-sex "marriage" and human cloning. At the Cairo+5 sessions in 1999, Annan stated that "since Cairo" the world understands "we have to stabilize the population of this planet…. There is a limit to the pressures our global environment can stand. One form of pressure is the sheer size of the world’s population." Annan’s solution to this "pressure" is the now entrenched agenda of the UN - to pressure countries around the world to allow for abortion and contraception on demand.

Even more astonishingly, The Elders has welcomed Li Zhaoxing, the former Foreign Minister of communist China, as one of its "wise" men. Zhaoxing was the foreign representative for a country that is known for extensive human rights abuses, including a coercive one-child policy that has resulted in forced abortion and forced sterilizations. In one question and answer session at the Institute for Corean-American Studies, Inc. in 2000, Zhaoxing responded to questions about the one-child policy by stating that it is an admirable policy worthy of emulation elsewhere.

"Generally speaking," said Zhaoxing about the one-child policy, "this policy reflects the interests of the nation and people support it. And we really don’t know why some politicians in this country (America) don’t. I believe if they go to China and see for themselves, they would have a different idea."

Other Elders include Mary Robinson, the former President of Ireland and former United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, who, during her tenure at the UN, was one of the most outspoken proponents of homosexuality and abortion under the guise of protection from discrimination based on "sexual orientation" and "reproductive rights." Another member, Graca Machel, Nelson Mandela’s wife, has pushed for universal access to contraception as being an integral part of "women’s health." Nelson Mandela himself also has a pro-abortion record, and has in the past proved himself an advocate of the pro-homosexual movement.

The Elders have not yet announced the particulars of what, exactly, they plan on doing, but have indicated that they are embarking on a several month-long process of forming an agenda for the group. (Nelson Mandela's Group of Global “Elders” a Who's Who of Pro-Abortion, Pro-Population Control Movement.)

Jorge Mario Bergoglio, of course, would have not a problem in the world if he were to be informed of Nelson Mandela's "The Elders." Such knowledge would give Bergoglio more about Mandela to praise. One World Government types, after all, really do stick together. The counterfeit church of conciliarism has left a "void" that naturalists seek to fill with their own schemes of world governance. Yes, you see the Catholic Church was founded by Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ to serve as the only means to unite men around the Sacred Deposit of Faith that He entrusted exclusively to His Catholic Church for their eternal safekeeping and infallible explication. I mean, James Earl Carter, Jr., is considered a "wise man"?

Jorge Mario Bergoglio's praise for the late Communist-affiliated and funded, pro-abortion oligarch named Nelson Mandela is premised upon sheer delusional mythology that has been fueled by the mainslime media for the past fifty years. Nelson Mandela was a "humanist" who believed in and promoted all manner of social evils while committing terrible crimes in his right and turning the other way as his loyal supporters, including now former wife Winnie, tortured and burned and bombed their way on the path to what they think is "justice."

Alas, the Republic of South Africa today is suffering from the combined effects of its being colonized Calvinist settlers from The Netherlands in the middle of the Seventeenth Century and Anglican settlers from Great Britain at the beginning of the Nineteenth Century. Each of the injustices that continue to multiply in  new forms South Africa today is the direct result of the revolution begun by Father Martin Luther against the Divine Plan that God Himself instituted to effect man's return to Him through the Catholic Church.

An important part of that Protestant Revolution, of course, involved the overthrow of the Social Reign of Christ the King. The entire fabric of Modernity is premised upon the belief that men do not need to subordinate themselves to the Social Reign of Christ the King as It must be exercised by His Holy Catholic Church, which is why all manner of hideous injustices are being perpetrated under cover of the civil law and are propagated throughout what passes for "population control" in country after country today.

The conciliar revolution is premised upon an "official reconciliation" with Modernity.

Angelo Roncalli/John XXIII said as much in his opening address of the "Second" Vatican Council, October 11, 1962, the Feast of the Divine Maternity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, and in Pacem in Terris, April 11, 1962

Giovanni Montini/Paul The Sick was very blunt on this "reconciliation" throughout the course of the "Second" Vatican Council and in various speeches, including his address to the United Masonic Nations Organization on October 4, 1965, the Feast of Saint Francis of Assisi.

Karol Wojtyla/John Paul II constantly extolled "healthy secularity" during his 9,666 days as the head of the counterfeit church of conciliarism.

Joseph Ratzinger/Benedict XVI did so twenty-three years before he succeeded Wojtyla/John Paul II as the universal public face of apostasy in the text of his very misnamed Principles of Catholic Theology, and throughout the course of the seven years, ten months, nine days of his false "pontificate."

Jorge Mario Bergoglio/Francis is simply extending all of this to its ultimate by praising the murderous likes of Nelson Mandela, who took with him to his Particular Judgment the responsibility for the shedding of the blood of the innocent preborn that he supported until the time he died two days ago now.

This calls to mind the following passage from Pope Leo XIII's Tametsi Futura Prospicientibus, November 1, 1900:

Once the idea of the authority of God as the Judge of right and wrong is forgotten, law must necessarily lose its primary authority and justice must perish: and these are the two most powerful and most necessary bonds of society. Similarly, once the hope and expectation of eternal happiness is taken away, temporal goods will be greedily sought after. Every man will strive to secure the largest share for himself. Hence arise envy, jealousy, hatred. The consequences are conspiracy, anarchy, nihilism. There is neither peace abroad nor security at home. Public life is stained with crime. (Pope Leo XIII, Tametsi Futura Prospicientibus, November 1, 1900.)

Giuseppe Cardinal Sarto said the following when he became the Patriarch of Venice in 1893,  a year before he could take canonical possession of this see:

Three days later, on the Feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin, Cardinal Sarto addressed his first pastoral letter to the clergy of Venice; the letter was also addressed to the clergy of Mantua as a kind of pastoral last testament. Since he had many weeks to prepare it, it was not an occasional writing but a long exhortation, as well as a warning against Catholic liberalism which seemed, to the Patriarch of Venice, to be spreading more and  more at the heart of the Church. In it, the new Patriarch of Venice called priests to be united in fidelity to the Holy See: "...the Bishop alone is the guardian and interpreter of the Sovereign Pontiff's commands, and the priests must be intimately united to the Bishop..." This unity is more indispensable than ever, because, in our days, the Church "practically at every moment has to fight to defend her liberty, her dignity and her rights." The Church's enemies are "the baneful sects" and "rotten materialism," but they would not have so much success if "certain people, under the cover of the glorious name of Catholic, did not come to their aid." These "liberal Catholics" (cattolici-liberali) "dream of a kind of peace, or rather, a conciliation between light and darkness": they stigmatize "all Catholics who think differently from them as 'the clerical party,'" and they say that "in all things that concern the State, the civil authority ought to have the pre-eminence over the authority of the Church" and "under the pretext of liberty they permit the license of irreligion and insult." These liberal Catholics, wrote Cardinal Sarto again, "always preach charity and prudence, as if it were charitable to let the wolf devour the lam, and as if it were a virtue to cultivate this prudence of the flesh, which God has condemned, as it is written: I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and the prudence of the prudent I will thwart (1 Cor 1:19)." Liberal Catholics are "wolves in sheep's clothing; it is more important than anything else that murky designs should be exposed to the light and denounced." (Yves Chiron, Saint Pius X: Restorer of the Church. Translated by Graham Harrison. Angelus Press, 2002, pp. 87-88.)

Pope Leo XIII wrote the following about such reconciling with the principles of the revolution just ten months before he promoted the Bishop of Mantua, Giuseppe Melchiorre Sarto, to be the Patriarch of Venice:

Every familiarity should be avoided, not only with those impious libertines who openly promote the character of the sect, but also with those who hide under the mask of universal tolerance, respect for all religions, and the craving to reconcile the maxims of the Gospel with those of the revolution. These men seek to reconcile Christ and Belial, the Church of God and the state without God. (Pope Leo XIII, Custodi Di Quella Fede, December 8, 1892.)

As Pope Saint Pius X, the former Patriarch of Venice condemned the very "separation of Church and State" that Joseph Ratzinger/Benedict XVI praised repeatedly, including when he arrived in Lisbon, Portugal, on May 11, 2010, which has produced legalized child-killing and "marriage" between persons of the same gender:

2. Whilst the new rulers of Portugal were affording such numerous and awful examples of the abuse of power, you know with what patience and moderation this Apostolic See has acted towards them. We thought that We ought most carefully to avoid any action that could even have the appearance of hostility to the Republic. For We clung to the hope that its rulers would one day take saner counsels and would at length repair, by some new agreement, the injuries inflicted on the Church. In this, however, We have been altogether disappointed, for they have now crowned their evil work by the promulgation of a vicious and pernicious Decree for the Separation of Church and State. But now the duty imposed upon Us by our Apostolic charge will not allow Us to remain passive and silent when so serious a wound has been inflicted upon the rights and dignity of the Catholic religion. Therefore do We now address you, Venerable Brethren, in this letter and denounce to all Christendom the heinousness of this deed.

3. At the outset, the absurd and monstrous character of the decree of which We speak is plain from the fact that it proclaims and enacts that the Republic shall have no religion, as if men individually and any association or nation did not depend upon Him who is the Maker and Preserver of all things; and then from the fact that it liberates Portugal from the observance of the Catholic religion, that religion, We say, which has ever been that nation's greatest safeguard and glory, and has been professed almost unanimously by its people. So let us take it that it has been their pleasure to sever that close alliance between Church and State, confirmed though it was by the solemn faith of treaties. Once this divorce was effected, it would at least have been logical to pay no further attention to the Church, and to leave her the enjoyment of the common liberty and rights which belong to every citizen and every respectable community of peoples. Quite otherwise, however, have things fallen out. This decree bears indeed the name of Separation, but it enacts in reality the reduction of the Church to utter want by the spoliation of her property, and to servitude to the State by oppression in all that touches her sacred power and spirit. (Pope Saint Pius X, Iamdudum, May 24, 1911.)

Jorge Mario Bergoglio's praise of Nelson Mandela was, therefore, completely expected. It was predictable. This writer, though, chose to wait until he had done so before commenting.

Given the way things are spiraling downward so rapidly, Jorge Mario Bergoglio will become the first conciliar "pope" to offer "Kwanza" greetings on December 26, 2013, the Feast of Saint Stephen the Protomartyr and the Second Day in the Octave of Christmas. Although I could be wrong about this, chances are fairly good that he will do so sooner or later. After all, what's to stop a man from praising a Communist-inspired false holiday that mocks Christmas who has just praised a Communist-inspired and allied murderer as being a promoter of "non-violence" and "human dignity"? Not much.

We must continue to fulfill Our Lady's Fatima Message in our own lives, keeping close to her Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart as we hand out her Green Scapular to as many people as we can, being sure to pray "Immaculate Heart of Mary, pray for us now and at the hour of our death" for each person, especially this First Saturday of the month of December and on the very vigil of her Immaculate Conception, which is commemorated liturgically today, a day of fast and total abstinence.

Saint Louis de Montfort has given us great words of wisdom for these our times:

Predestinate souls, you who are of God, cut yourselves adrift from those who are damning themselves by their impious lives, laziness and lack of devotion--and, without delay, recite often your Rosary, with faith, with humility, with confidence and with perseverance. . . .

Dear Rosary Confraternity members, if you want to lead a fashionable life and belong to the world--by this I mean if you do not mind falling into mortal sin from time to time and then going to Confession, and if you with to avoid conspicuous sins which the world considers vile and yet at the same time commit "respectable sins"--then, of course, there is no need for you to say many prayers and Rosaries. You only need to do very little be "respectable": a tiny prayer at night and morning, an occasional Rosary which may be given to you for your penance, a few decades of Hail Marys said on your Rosary (but haphazardly and without concentration) when it suits your fancy to say them--this is quite enough. If you did less, you might be branded as a freethinker or a profligate; if you did more, you would be eccentric and a fanatic. But if you want to lead a true Christian life and genuinely want to save your soul and walk in the saints' footsteps and never, never, fall into mortal sin--if you wish to break Satan's traps and divert his flaming darts, you must always pray as Our Lord taught and commanded you to do.

If you really have this wish at heart, then you must at least say your Rosary or the equivalent, every day. I have said "at least" because probably all that you will accomplish through your Rosary will be to avoid mortal sin and to overcome temptation. This is because you are so exposed to the strong current of the world's wickedness by which many a strong soul is swept away; you are in the midst of the thick, clinging darkness which often blinds even the most enlightened souls; you are surrounded by evil spirits who being more experienced than ever and knowing that their time is short are more cunning and more effective in tempting you.

It will indeed be a marvel of grace wrought by the Most Holy Rosary if you manage to keep out of the clutches of the world, the devil and the flesh and avoid mortal sin and gain heaven! If you do not want to believe me, at least learn from your own experience. I should like to ask you, if when you were in the habit of saying no more prayers than people usually say in the world and saying them they way they usually say them, you were able to avid serious faults and sins that were grievous but which seemed nothing much to you in your blindness. Now at last you must wake up, and if you want to live and die without sin, at least mortal sin, pray unceasingly; say your Rosary every day as members always used to do in the early days of the Confraternity. . . .

Even if you suffer from dryness of soul, boredom and interior discouragement, never give up even the least little bit of your Rosary--for this would be a sure sign of pride and faithlessness. On the contrary, like a real champion of Jesus and Mary, you should say your Our Fathers and Hail Marys quite drily if you have to, without seeing, hearing or feeling any consolation whatsoever, and concentrating as best you can on the mysteries. You ought not to look for candy or jam to eat with your daily bread, as children do--but you should even say your Rosary more slowly sometimes when you particularly find it hard to say. Do this to imitate Our Lord more perfectly in His agony in the garden: "Being in agony, he prayed the longer," so that what was said of Our Lord (when He was in His agony of prayer) may be said of you too: He prayed even longer.

Pray with great confidence, with confidence based upon the goodness and infinite generosity of God and upon the promises of Jesus Christ. God is a spring of living water which flows unceasingly into the hearts of those who pray. The Eternal Father yearns for nothing so much as to share the life-giving waters of His grace and mercy with us. He is entreating us: "All you that thirst, come to the waters . . ." This means "Come and drink of My spring through prayer," and when we do not pray to Him He sorrowfully says that we are forsaking Him: "They have forsaken me, the fountain of living water." (Saint Louis de Montfort, The Secret of the Rosary;  pp. 99-101; 103)

Let us not forsake Our Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Let us go to Him through the very instrument His Most Blessed Mother gave to Saint Dominic, the Holy Rosary. Let us take seriously the words that Our Lady told Jacinta and Francisco Marto and Lucia dos Santos in the Cova da Iria to pray many Rosaries and to do penance for the conversion of poor sinners and to save them from Hell.

We are poor sinners in need of conversion!

We need to be saved from the fires of Hell.

We must use the spiritual weapon that Our Lord has given us through His Most Blessed Mother to defeat the enemies of our salvation at the very gates of our soul this day and every day our lives as we lift high the standard of His Most Holy Cross, which is adorned to every Rosary of His Most Blessed Mother, as we seek to spread devotion to this paramount weapon against all sin and heresy.

The world is in the state that it is because of the infidelity of men.

We must beseech Our Lady to help us remain faithful to the point of our dying breaths, especially by beseeching her through her Most Holy Rosary and by making sure that we offer our daily penances and prayers to her Divine Son's Most Sacred Heart through her own Immaculate Heart. She will help us to see the world clearly through the eyes of the true Faith as we exclaim with love the great words that bespeak of our allegiance to her Divine Son, the King of our hearts, the King of the world that is now very much in the grip of those who advance evil after evil as they give professional courtesy to each other.

Viva Cristo Rey! Vivat Christus Rex!

Our Lady of the Rosary, pray for us!

Saint Joseph, pray for us.

Saints Peter and Paul, pray for us.

Saint John the Baptist, pray for us.

Saint John the Evangelist, pray for us.

Saint Michael the Archangel, pray for us.

Saint Gabriel the Archangel, pray for us.

Saint Raphael the Archangel, pray for us.

Saints Joachim and Anne, pray for us.

Saints Caspar, Melchior, and Balthasar, pray for us.

Saint Ambrose, pray for us.
